I went to Mimosa nails last Friday. I showed them a picture of a nail design with daisies that I wanted. The design did not turn out like I wanted and was honestly pretty sloppy. I called the next morning and they had me come back in and made sure this time that my nails turned out the way I wanted. I love them!

The tech Anne is awesome. Her skills and customer service are great, she really needs to open her own salon because her skills are way better than this place. First time I got my nails done it took THREE people to do my nails and they still came out mediocre. They will talk about you in their language and laugh at you. The owner is so impersonal. She is there for the money and you can tell. Find another place If you can or go to Anne. She is the only person worth going there.

I received a text and email promotion for a $28.00 gel manicure. The nail technician Mimi was in a hurry to get to the next customer and overcharged my credit ard twice at $35.00 plus an additinal $28.00. You do the math- 98.00. + a cash tip for a gel manicure.I spoke with a few different people Ben, Kayla then Emily about finding out about a 2nd transaction for $35.00. Emily was suppose to look into it and call me. I haven t heard back since I reached out Thursday when I had the service. Needless to say Ill dispute the additinal $35.00 charge.This is THEFT and if I need to involve the police I will. Return the $70.00 immediately. You did not do any service for me other than the previously mentioned gel manicure.

Terrible experience. Im new to the area and I thought I would give this place a try, very bad idea. The staff seemed nice enough, I told them that I wanted a gel pedi and the overlay removed from my fingernails. I was seated for a pedi very quickly. I picked my colors and sipped my margarita.. as the tech started to apply my color, I noticed that it wasnt the same color as what I had chosen. I brought it to her attention, she proceeded to tell me that it looked the same to her.. CLEARLY it was not the same color but I let her continue because I really didnt mind.She looks at my fingernails and says she can fill them for me, that thats best even though I just wanted the overlay removed.. My nails are filled and she pulls out the other colors that I asked for and none of them are matching up. The tech painted my nails (i hated the colors) but then the polish started to wrinkle under the light, she removes and repolishes my nails only for the wrinkle effect to continue. As shes scraping the polish and my cuticles off she insists that the light is too low and thats why the polish isnt drying correctly.At this point, Im done. I tell her thanks but to take the fingernail polish off of every nail so that I could leave. She then says she has a new light and that she can paint my nails pink.. I kindly decline and then another tech comes out of nowhere saying shell make it right.. I say no, but thanks, then she has the audacity to ask, why Im mad. Like she didnt hear me tell this lady these arent the colors I asked for or the fact that you have me sitting under lights that dont work.To make matters worse.. not only was I under-serviced, I was over charged. I paid 75 bucks for a gel pedi and a fill with no color. My pedi was 50, fine, but then they charged 25 for a fill with no polish. Thats the same amount for a fill with regular polish. [Photos included; pedi(I asked for #98 A golden yellow my toes are orange orange) unpainted, unmanicured finernails and their price list.]Save your time, energy and your money. Find an establishment with techs, equipment and polish from the 21st century.

I specifically made an appointment so i wouldnt have to wait, it still took them an HOUR to start on me. and on top of that my nails look terrible!! will never go back here.

I was in the neighborhood to get a oil change at the Audi dealership across the street and I found this salon to kill some time. My girlfriend and I went over to get our nails done and we were super excited with the results. The nail techs were super sweet and helpful. I received a gel manicure with a paraffin wax and it came out so beautiful. I will definitely be returning when I am in the area. Awesome service!

I like the price and the pedicure is decent. But they can be very unprofessional. One of the employees kid was around, playing and just being everywhere. I dont mind the kid, but the places is sooooo small, and the kid with his big toys was taking so much space plus it was a busy day (a lot of customers). Another thing is that making an appointment is USELESS. It does not matter, you will wait. Ive come here 3 times, and is always the same thing. And the wait can be long (more than 20 mins). In addition, they say they offer mimosas and/or water, but they have never offered to me, and is uncomfortable to ask. there was a man, just sleeping in one of the pedicure chairs. He was not a client, hewas just sleeping, taking up the space for another customer. This of course upset me because I made the appointment at 6 and I waited for more than 20 mins. Finally, I saw a girl (customer) removing her own nail polish. My guess is that it was because they were busy and understaffed. Oh, and I had to wait 30 more minutes just to pay, because nobody else could or wanted to check me out. is just... Unprofessional

Cat did a wonderful job on my nails and she is excellent. She was professional and kind and wore her mask properly the whole time. She gets 5 stars. However, I was really disappointed to see the carelessness surrounding masks from the rest of the staff. There was a point that I was the only customer in the salon and 3/5 staff members took their masks off completely and were walking around the main area, which made me incredibly uncomfortable. This is completely unacceptable behavior and in violation of the governor’s executive order. I am not one to leave a negative review EVER but I want to share this with others who want to feel safe while they are getting their nails done. I did not feel safe.

Owner/manager has a very nasty attitude. A customer was complaining about the wait and she caught a major attitude. She then had her child running around the salon pulling on her while she was doing nails. Not saying what she should do with her child but it was unprofessional. Waited with my feet in the water for 2 hours. I called ahead of time to set up an appointment and was told it was okay to come. If I was going to just be sitting there for 2 hours other arrangements could have been made.When something does not look right or needs to be fixed you’re completely ignored. That was definitely my last time going there. I was also a little bothered by the number of people on the salon. For such a small space it was very busy and definitely no 6ft distance.

My fourth time here at any Nail shop. I brought my mother who is visiting from Oklahoma this time and she loves her manicure and pedicure. We are very pleased with the service!! Kayla was and is always awesome!!

The ladies there have no knowledge whatsoever i got my nail done and i regret it. I shouldve gone somewhere else because they completely damaged my nail. I had to redo them womewhere else to get what i was looking for.

Friendly staff, bright atmosphere and clean chairs. Lots of color options, dip powder and gel available. TV screens, massage chairs and free drinks to keep you entertained ! Tuan was excellent at his work, great customer service! Coming back here

SO GREAT! Im supremely happy I stopped in late one night. Kayla is amazinggg and does my nails literally perfectly. Also the place is gorgeous and clean and they have COVID shields up. The complimentary drinks are a fabulous touch and overall I am thrilled to find my new go-to!!!🥳💯

The owner is so disrespectful Went in last Saturday to get gel manicure and peeled off the next day. I came in to get them fixed and the owner was being so rude about it!

I was very disappointed because my usual experience with this salon is pleasant. I came from another salon who completed a pedicure but did not polish my toes to my satisfaction so previous polish was removed. After calling and asking if appointments were available, I set an appointment for an hour later at this location for a polish only. It took 10 mins for me to be acknowledged. I was never offered a drink or apologized to for my wait. I asked another customer how long it took to be acknowledged, she stated she was immediately acknowledged but took 15 minutes to be serviced but she just walked in. If i didn’t have a flight to catch, I would’ve left but I couldn’t risk another wait time elsewhere. Multiple people walked by me but did not speak.After standing and asking if someone was going to acknowledge me, I was seated but no water was placed in the bowl. I waited another 15 mins before being serviced. In the middle of my service starting she stops to go polish someone else’s nails because a woman changed her mind about wanting polish done. While waiting, I watched a woman mark down her price of $95 (because the customer just thought that was too high) for a woman who got a full gel set with long nails, gel polish, designs and gems. To me, $95 was a steal. The young woman even showed me her nails before walking out. I was shocked she charged her less because the work done was VERY nice. I asked my nail tech for the name of the woman who did the nails and she walked over to her and she told me herself her name was Kayla.Fast forward, The young lady who serviced me lied to Kayla about my services rendered & they tried to charge me $30 for polish only. I’ve NEVER paid $30 for a polish only. It only cost $20 for gel polish (still overpriced), why was I being charged $30? The young lady who polished my toes lied and said she performed a polish change, buff and file. A nail tech earlier (who refused to tell me her name) rudely yelled from the back of the store about the cost of services I believe and I stated specifically “I’m minding my business up here, I wasn’t listening to you, what was said?” She sighed heavily and turned back to her customer. I asked the woman to come to the front, looked her and Kayla in their faces & told her to stop lying and review their cameras to show I came in with no polish and she never buffed my toes. I reiterated I waited 15 mins to be acknowledged, 30 mins to be serviced, was offered no drink and I never caused a scene or spoke rudely. Kayla turned to the woman and asked why she didn’t offer me a drink then apologized. After, she stated “okay we’ll charge you $25.” When I complained, she rolled her eyes and said it’s only $5 extra. I told her not to patronize me and if it’s only that, she can pay it.” Then 2 other women came to the front as if they were going to attack me and telling me I need to just pay the extra and go. The young woman from earlier then came to the front to again tell me what I should pay and when I never acknowledged her speaking, she negatively spoke about me in Vietnamese. Kayla laughed. I understand the language very well. I told them I didn’t appreciate her coming to the front to speak about me and Kayla lied & said she didn’t speak about me. I repeated what she said and she stood there dumb founded. I told them I won’t be the angry black woman she stereotyped me to be as soon as I walked in the door because it wouldn’t change how I’ve already been treated.I told her I refused to pay for services that hadn’t been rendered to me. She said rudely “well look what do you want me to do? I told you I’ll charge you less.” I stated “You could treat me with respect, not try to charge me extra when I watched you go down on pricing for someone else, not speak about me behind my back and lie to my face & many other things.”Me not returning means nothing because another Black person will replace my spot and ignore how everyone else is being treated because “it’s not/wasn’t them” but I won’t ignore the fact that everyone who didn’t look like me was treated better.

I was not pleased with my services here.. i was had 3 techs trying to file my nails after Linda did a rush job on my hands and feet. The manager came telling me its not all about the money and that she would give me a 10% discount for my troubles which i never received and Linda stated since she messed up my nails they would be free and at the end i still had to pay. i was actually a good customers especially how i was rushed to the side for a customers that came in after me ..they lied to me about my accommodations just so i would stay!! i was their first customer and ended up being there 4 and a half hours after all that mess!!

Cat did my nails , she was so nice and not so rough as other nail techs.. she took her time and during the whole process she made sure i liked my nails and made sure everything she was doing was right! definitely will be coming back

The manager was the one who did my nail and she was mean and not professional. she cut my skin and didn’t even apologize. Not only that they ignored what I’ve been asking to get done. They soaked me in the acetone for almost an hour because they were trying to fit multiple customers in. I don’t recommend this location at all. The service is the worst.

Fantastic new nail salon right across from Audi dealership! Prices were very reasonable and they didnt cram all the seats in like Amity down the street! Walked in and was immediately presented a mimosa (yay!)Got sns manicure and a wonderful premier pedicure for a great price! They have a big selection of sns powders and even helped me find one that I liked. Mem was my nail tech and he was a pro. He knew exactly what he was doing and gave me gorgeous nails in a reasonable amount of time. 10/10 would recommend after a disappointing time at other salons with inexperienced sns powder manicurists or rushed service. Free street parking was a bonus

I went here to get my nails done I feel like they over price everyone cuz of the pandemic.. my nails and feet was $85 and I didn’t even get a tip on my nails just polish ..... 2days later my gel nail polish came off like a sticker.... I also notice that one of my toes didn’t have the clear polish over it like the other one to give it a shine.... I won’t be back 🙄

Im so excited that Mimosa opened an Arlington location! I was a loyal customer of the DuPont location until I moved to Arlington 4 years ago and have been looking for quality nail salon. I have found it at last! Men did a great job on my nails, Ill definitely be coming back.

I dont know who did my pedicure, but he was going bald, legit ask for this guy. I have never had a pedicure so good before. He massaged my feet and legs incredibly. When Im back in this area I will definitely be coming back to him.

Awesome salon! Live in DC but happen to be in this neighborhood and randomly stopped in. Vivian did an amazing manicure! Both Vivian and a guy that was there working were very friendly and professional. Hope to be back soon for the spa pedicure!

The first time I went, they had in total 5 different people do my nails. The second time the lady doing my nails was rushing and cut my finger & still charged me $60 for a gel manicure. Never going back & would not recommend!
