I’ve gone here multiple times and each time I’m less and less impressed… this last time I got a full set that started to lift three days later. One nail actually broke and so I went in to get it fixed. The guy (pretty sure the owner/ manager) fixed it free of charge but did it so badly I was embarrassed when I left but I still left a tip. He also did my set and I found he rushed and didn’t paint them evenly or even make my nails even. They never cut back my cuticles and I feel like my nails always look sloppy. Sadly this was my last time trying to give them business and will not be returning.

Outstanding!!! Well run. Happy atmosphere. Cleaner than any salon Ive ever been in. Service is top notch. You dont leave until nail polish is absolutely dry. No smudging in the car.

First and last time at this place. When I arrived there were only two other customers. Asked for a regular manicure and pedicure. The lady quickly began working on my nails, after finishing the hand massage she asked me to wash my hands, I then returned to the chair but she wanted me to go ahead and sit on the other chair to begin my pedicure without finishing my manicure. She finished my manicure while soaking my feet on water. By that time I already knew that she was going to rush everything. There was no callus removal, she brought the hot towel and placed it on my feet for about two seconds. She did the jelly mint scrub for about 10 seconds on each foot. The picture is a day after. As you can see, it is poor quality nail polish. The lady was rushing as if there was a line waiting. Horrible service, never going back to waste my money and time.

I had an amazing experience at Hollywood Nails! Allof the staff is very friendly and kind, and were especially helpful in explaining the different types of polish. The color selection is great! They’re also taking the proper protocol during covid and I feelvery safe coming here. I cannot explain how grateful I am to be able to find such an amazing nail salon. The nail techs did an incredible job and i’m so happy about how my nails turned out, they look fantastic! I highly recommend everyone to come to this place, they’re awesome!

I asked for a design and i got color only i told them multiple times and showed them a picture of how I wanted my nails and they ignored me.

I went in for a fill and the acrylic was so thick and bumpy! When I finally got around to having them fixed (somewhere else, THAKFULLY), my nails were yellow, water was stuck between the nail and the acrylic, and I was very lucky fungus hadn’t taken hold yet. I had gone here for pedis and fills, manis, etc. NEVER AGAIN!

Absolutely terrible I will never come back for any service. The people are nice but the work is bad. I will have to pay to get it completely done over.

If I could give this place a zero star after this experience, I would. This use to be a regular place for me in Arlington, not anymore after this experience. I showed the nail stylist a picture of the design I wanted. The picture is white nails, with a silver pinky and two ombre nails, with rounded tips. I told him that I wanted that style, EXCEPT instead of silver I would like gold and that I wanted to keep my nails square as they were. Instead... this is what I got. The lighting is bad in the picture and the white looks pink, but its really white (at least he got that right). I posted these exact pictures on my social media and 69 people told me it looked like trash. One of my friends told me it looked like a child just dipped my finger in glitter gold... Like at what point did he think this was OK? I went back the next day to get it fixed or get a refund (I paid $70). They had someone else fix it, and to avoid another horrible ombre effect I just asked for it to be removed and to have one finger white and the other all gold. If you dont know how to do a design... why would you do it? and if you SEE that its not correct - why would you still bother to charge? I barely got a manicure as well. He just trimmed my cuticles but nothing else, i.e. like the massage they offer once your nails are done. Not to mention I told BOTH nail stylist that I wanted my nails thin... theyre all pretty thick with the exception of my pinky. Honestly, I dont like to complain or be THAT customer, but this is very VERY unprofessional. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Take your money elsewhere.

Ive been going there for years. Recently Ive been getting powder dip nails. But Hollywood Nails is a full-service nail salon from regular manicure and pedicure and gel nails. They also have other small service. The owners are very accommodating as to scheduling.

Excellent, clean, professional, very nice people. Safeguards are in place! Highly recommend go get that pedi!!!

Hands down one of the BEST Nail Salons in Northern Virginia! I love the owners Tom and Yen they do a really good job when it comes to pedicures and manicures. I especially love how they use organic scrubs! Also very clean and friendly! This is a top notch service place if you want to get your nails done. Highly Recommended!

I drove 2.5 hours one way to this salon because my normal salon isnt open yet and wanted my nails done! The gentleman that done my nails was very rude! The lady who done my toes was nice. For just a normal pedi and mani I paided $85.00. I normally pay $85.00 for a full set with design along with my feet! This was a total rip off when I didnt get any special service from them. I will say to anyone go some place else. Customer service is horrible and you get ripped off for a service that you dont pay for goodness. My toe nails are ok but my finger nails are just horrible!

My friend and i had appointments. We went in, off the bat they were rude. There was numerous technicians there but none but one were willing to work on me and my friend while the others were lounging around on their phones regardless of the fact we told them we had a flight. But as soon as caucasian customers walked in they all flocked to them offering them refreshments and treatment my friend and i didnt receive. Our nails were done quickly and poorly. We walked out disgusted and horrified at the racism and service.

I had just finished with my deluxe spa pedicure and it felt amazing!! I had been on my feet all day and this was a great way to end the day. They really do a good job getting the tension in your calves and feet to disappear plus they also do a good removing calluses. My feet were looking like gross hobbit feet going in but going out they looked liked Ive never walked in them. Soft, and beautiful. They really do a good job here. If you get a chance to check them out, DO IT!! :)

I’ve never in my life left a review for a place before but the service here is DISGUSTING and rude, nail techs that were available did not service black customers, they did not offer the same service or kindness, also the nails were obviously done badly and other nail techs laughed. Horrible. Shouldn’t even be open.

Ive been going for 3 years & Ive had everyone there do my pedicures... ALL gentle... Mostly every pedi has been great but Im sensitive & ticklish plus I dont EVER want my cuticles cut/trimmed... Just clear the dead skin below the cuticle & smooth these heals & rough spots! The standard pedi suffices for 3-4 weeks, especially if u getclear with French tips.

I brought my mom there to get her manicure and pedicure. While waiting for her I decided to get my manicure. The place is clean. The lady who cut our nails were very nice and very efficient. I will definitely go back!

Just left this nail salon and was very impressed. The layout is very typical, however, the customer care and service is what makes it wonderful. Pricing is fair and the salon is very clean and neat. My nail tech was Linda and she took exceptional care of my nails and thoroughly listened to m concerns; I have very soft cuticles and hands and have been cut many times before by different techs in different salons. I left with a full gel set and had only 1 minor issue which Linda took care of immediately. I will definitely be back for my fill-in and plan to make this my permanent nail salon. Its in a very convenient location with free parking which is always a plus!

This place was great! My husband and I got the basic pedicure & it was perfect! The ladies got us right back and did a great job!

My friend and I decided to get our nails done here because her usual spot was closed at the time and this place seemed to have a lot of great reviews. The only thing i like about my nails is the color other than that we were very disappointed at both of our outcomes. i got a full set and they didnt bother to take care of my cuticles, my nails are lumpy, the lengths are not the same and the design i wanted was very simple but yet terrible. They also made my friends nails crooked, uneven and also messed up her design. They also made me feel very uncomfortable, I just wanted to walk out before they finished. My nails look so bad I am very disappointed and I will never go here again.

They do the best pedicures around and the place is very neat and you have options on what you want with good service from all the ladies.

The foot and hand massage was nice but their polishing skills and quality are terrible. I got my nails done on Friday and most of the Polish was chipping , and off my feet & hands by Sunday and thats WITH the gel Polish 🙄

Hollywood nails is by far the best nail salon in the area. Amazing selection of colors, relaxing environment, clean and the nicest employees!

I specifically requested somebody who knows how to work on ingrown toenails. Instead the lady didn’t even bother to take care of it. I am not even sure if she can see well. I still have a bunch of dead skin on my toenails, they are uneven and horribly painted. I don’t understand why pedicure and manicure has such a low standards in USA. Never ever again. I am wondering if that lady even has her license

This place has declined in service. The male worker is rude and cut my finger when he was trimming my nails. He also did not select the correct color and kept saying- it would change color.I will not return to this nail salon.

This used to be my go-to spot when I lived in Arlington. Just went back today when visiting family and I am horribly disappointed. Had a mani-pedi, pedi was fine. However on my mani I had not one but two cuticles cut to bleeding, severe enough that it wasn’t clotting for a good 5 minutes. My mani has a thin crust of blood and both cut fingers hurt. In addition, the stylist did not listen to my request for rounded nails and gave me square tips, my mani smudged badly after I left, and I was only offered a $10 gift certificate for my dissatisfaction. Why on earth would I give them the privilege of cutting me again?!

Tommy did my nails and I am very disappointed. My nails look lumpy and messy and I paid $50 for this. I got SNS, something I get every month from different nail salons (I travel a lot), and he completely rushed through the process. He got towards the end and had to put another coat because he rushed so much that the color on all of my nails was visibly coming off and showing my nail underneath. After the last coat, he didnt go back through the process of shaving down the color with the drill, and this left my nails looking lumpy with uneven color distribution. He tried to fix it with the top coat which is NOT okay; top coats are for finishing and preserving, not fixing your mistakes. He left all the residue on the inside of my nails (glue, shaved stiff etc.) instead of drilling it off like a normal salon. I had to get one of the ladies to fix it for me after paying since he jetted off to do someone elses nails. Very unhappy and will not be going back.
