Came in on Sept 24 to get my acrylics removed and to have my nails painted with polish to have them look nice for a funeral. Within 20 minutes from leaving Coatroom, my nails started smudging and chipping off. My fingers werent painted well at all. I was the last one inside the store before close, I went back and they were closed. Ive called twice and no response from the owner for a refund. Complete waste of money and awful professionalism. Please do not come here!

Went to get a powder manicure and pedicure just yesterday. The pedicure is mediocre but the manicure was absolutely horrendous!!!! Play I am in shock that I spent $50 on a manicure where my fingers were actually physically hurt by the manicurist. She removed my gel manicure and asked if I wanted my nails shaped and I said yes I would like them shaped in square shaped. Stead she ended up filing so hard on the edge of my nails that she took off actual nails all the way down into my nail bed if that makes any sense it’s actually very painful and then she put the polish on my nails so that it doesn’t actually cover my entire nail and is causing a lot of pain where she filed way too much and didn’t put polish on the sides of my nails. Honestly I just cannot believe this happened I’ve been getting manicures for years and this is the worst experience I have ever had in my life at a salon. When I pointed out to her the problem she just told me that the problem was the nail was too short well yes lady that’s because you filed it all the way down to my skin!!!!! And she would not even try to fix it she just told me it was OK if I hadn’t been in such a rush I would’ve made a bigger deal about it but I had to go pick my son up from school. I had come three weeks before and had a bad experience as well but thought I would give it another chance since I came several years ago before the pandemic and had a good experience but this place is gone really downhill I am so upset. Can I believe I spent all that money just to be physically hurt. I would not come to the salon if I were you it seems like some of the people there honestly have no idea what they’re doing and are completely careless.

I bought a voucher from Groupon $39 for Gel manicure and classic pedicure, then made the appointment directly 2 days later. I was the first customer at 10:00 am, everything was super clean, you keep the mask inside, the young lady who did the job was professional, and I was very happy with the result. Highly recommended, will go back for sure.

The place was bright and clean. My master was nice but I am very disappointed by the service I have received. One hour $49 gel pedicure for this and hells that still like a wood? Seriously? Never come back! Not recommended!

Even though this was my very first experience getting a pedicure I have to say they did a helluva great job making sure that I was comfortable and O.M.G!!! The massage chairs were extremely comfortable and of great quality. I have scoliosis and worked all the kinks out of my lower back and hips. I will definitely be coming here from now on.. Ive found my favorite spot and I wont be going elsewhere...

Such a bad nail salon, i got my manicure done here and the lady who did my nails had absolutely no experience they looked horrible, she also got angry when I told her to fix a spot on my nails and started speaking in her own language all throughout doing my nails and seemed mad. she had no respect towards me and also cut my cuticle and it started bleeding and she kept trying to hide to blood by pressing on it with her own fingers. overall the nail salon and especially the manager are super poor quality and absolutely know nothing everyone there doesn’t even speak english which was hard to communicate with. hope you learn your lesson by this message and that’s why you have a 3 star which will go lower than that. thanks bye

Just coming out of my service which was the worst manicure I ever had. The lady made me bleed on three different fingers when doing my manicure, then applied a polish chosen from the shelf which was way passed its useful life but she accepted to remove it (thankfully). We managed to find a newer polish but she unfortunately did a very poor job at applying it making 3 very thick layers which ended up giving a very messy finish to my manicure.Paid my service and generous tip because she accepted to change the first color but when i ended up telling the manager he told me in a very arrogant way that he couldn’t see how it was possible to make thin layers with a regular polish . Go figure.. was my first time and certainly last

I visited Coatroom yesterday for the first time for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The 2 polishes came in a boxed set and I was told that they were the same color. I got my pedicure first and I liked the dark red color. Then I got the gel manicure. I told my nail tech that the color didn’t match and she giggled and said, “Sometimes that happens with gel.” I insisted it didn’t match and brought over another nail tech and the two continued to glaze over my complaint. I was not offered a discount or change of color. I paid for my services in full and still tipped my nail tech. The service was good but I was disappointed that I made a complaint and asked for matching colors and the team could not deliver my request.

I just went here for the first time recently and really enjoyed my experience! I got a regular mani/pedi and my friend got gels, and they did a great job for both! Friendly and courteous staff, conscious of COVID (we felt safe!). Also really nice relaxing vibe with a slightly more trending vibe than other nail salons in the area. Highly recommend!

Ive gone here TWICE and paid 65.00 each time for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Its time to get my nails done again and I received a coupon via text message for 20.00 off. I go to get the services and they ate telling me it will be around 57.00. Excuse me I know I might not be good in math but Im sure 65.00 minus 20.00 does not equal 57.00. So, I pulled up my bank records and they were still telling me thats not what I paid. The manager was called on the phone and he was the RUDEST manager Ive ever dealt with. My problem is, IF they were giving me a deal when I was paying 65.00 I shouldve been told that, not made to think that was the cost! I will NEVER go there AGAIN!!!!! Hopefully this review makes sense because Im in the heat of the moment writing it. All that for NOTHING!!!! When theyre offering deals or discounts to people it should be made known theyre not paying the full price so they wont be blindsided! I had my bank statement as proof and they still denied that I paid what I said!

I’m pretty upset because despite having an appointment I had to wait a while. They mentioned once I got in that it would a while and to wait. I waited by the door while no one helped me. Then at one point was asked to wash my hands. Washed my hands - no paper towels. I was walking around with hands wet and looked at the nail tech and she purposely did not make eye contact with me, again waited at the door then someone asked me to sit at the pedicure chair and that someone would get to me when they got time. What is the purpose of making an appointment if they do not even care. Now I’m waiting in the pedicure chair 40 minutes after my appointment was scheduled and still no one has come to help me. I had to cancel two other appointments I had because I know that I’ll be sitting here a while. I will not return.

After exactly one week, one of my nails cracked in half. It was SNS with an extended tip. I called them to have them remove the nail and put a new one on. I told him it only hurt when I would accidentally bend the nail while doing normal everyday tasks - it wasn’t in constant pain! He told me other than giving me acetone to bring home and do it myself, there was NOTHING THEY COULD DO. The absolute lack of quality their dipping powder has after just one week of use is not even the biggest issue. The fact that you won’t even soak my nail off and replace it with a new one or even just soak it off, is the BIGGEST ISSUE. I do not recommend this salon at all. I wasn’t even upset when I realized they were going to charge TWENTY dollars for just extended tips (when the standard is 10) but this was the cherry on top of the cake.

I was really impressed with the my appointment today. The atmosphere was very welcoming and clean. John finish my nails in a timely manner he was very caring patient and informative. I love my nails I definitely will be back.

I have been coming here for a couple of years. The service is wonderful, good value, very clean - especially since the rules surrounding the pandemic. Very laid back, nice people.

They were great. The color lasted up to 3 weeks.They checked my temperature when they first re-opened the second time around they didnt, not sure why.

Let me just say, I WILL NEVER RETURN. I went in for a Gel set. I had dip and I had 4 nails that had broken off and need tips. That meant 6 of my nails were long and in great condition. After the technician started, she cut two of my reals nails off. I informed her I didnt ask for her to cut anything. She then ask if I want gel. Yes, I did; however, it was not powder gel she applied, IT WAS LIQUID! After 1 day, my nails were bending and soft. I ended cutting off all my nails. A $70 waste of money. Needless to say, I was and am an unhappy patron.

I still so happy I found this place!The salon has 10 nail tables and 10 professional nail technicians They made me feel genuinely welcomed and really took their time for my nails. The price was definitely worth the quality of the nails. Ill try to do the gel manicure next time.Thanks

The SNS nails that I got done ended up looking okay, and I appreciated that the techs used a fine drill to smooth the surface throughout the process. I took off a few stars because my nails were a bit sore after getting them done and I noticed a hair in the SNS powder container when my nails were being dipped

WORST SALON EVER. Careless job done on my french manicure acrylic nails. I paid for a full new set on Groupon but the manicurist said I only needed them to be retouched/refilled. She did a hasty job and you can see where the new acrylic has been filled in. She also didnt retouch where my nails were growing in with more white nailpolish b/c she said she would have to charge extra. Shes not willing to retouch the paint even though shes only refilling the acrylic when I had paid for a full set. I could have paid just as much for the groupon to get my nails refilled with the paint touched up. the service was no good and my nails look DISGUSTING.UPDATE: the manager said he would make it right so I went back. They redid my nails and then CHARGED ME FULL PRICE!!! The manager lied! Why would I return to pay full price to fix something they didnt do right in the first place? AND BY THE SAME PERSON WHO MESSED UP MY NAILS IN THE FIRST PLACE. The manager was really nasty. He didnt even tell his employees that I was coming in for an appointment which I had scheduled with him by phone that same day.WORST SALON EXPERIENCE EVER.

Went there yesterday afternoon and she was doing a good job until more guest started to arrive and she rushed thru my nails, breaking a couple of them and did a really bad job with my pedi. Really angry about this service

Got a pedicure ( took 45 minutes- 1 hour ) I liked the pedicure. Very relaxing and did a good job.Got an acrylic set .... This took 3-3 1/2 hours . THATS INSANE! Medium / short length square shaped . The application was sloppy and super uneven. Shape looked more like oval than square . Was very rough with filing and had to tell her multiple times to be more gentle . Nail popped off after 1 week! 1 week!!!!!!!! After being there for almost 4 - 4 1/2 hours !! And paid 90$ ( not a bad price and not including tip ). I went back to my one and trusted nail salon in Leesburg Va Happy Nails ( I’m a DC Resident ) as soon as i saw my nail popped off after a week.All in all , i gave it two stars purely because my pedicure was great and everyone was really nice . I would not recommend.

Very unprofessional. I called before I go and they told me to come in 30 min. i went and I waited for 30 min then I was asked to leave because they don’t have to serve me. This was my second time and the first one wasn’t good as well but since i live close by I decided to return and it was a mistake.

I’m really a picky person when it comes to mani and pedi. I just felt that this place is not good about sanitary, I felt a bit unsafe there. When they were doing a mani and pedi for me they took a random tools from a table (already unpacked), the lady that was doing my manicure wasn’t wearing gloves, they haven’t checked with me if I have any elegies, I got several cuts during manicure, etc. The attitude overall seemed a bit careless... Don’t think that I would risk going there again.

I purchased a basic acrylic full set on Groupon. No designs and no crystals. Yet Thuy charged me $5 extra dollars because I wanted my nails “long.” (So there went her tip 🤷🏾‍♀️) I’ve never been charged for something like that. I decided to leave a review because one week later a nail breaks. But I won’t go back to that place to fix it. Next nail shop I go to will be black owned.

The coat room nails is a convenient location from my job which I go to right after work. Unfortunately, I have been here multiple times due to the convenience which works for my busy schedule. However, I have never been pleased or satisfied with the work being done here. The technicians are impatient and do not listen to my concerns. By the time I arrive home, the nails they rushed through with gets messed up during my drive home. I got acrylics done today..... while filing the glued on nail, the technician broke it and then would not replace the nail when asked do. Instead, she used the powder to fix the chip on the nail which did not look the same. Also, she was unable to file it to be even. It was lopsided. Actually, all 10 filed acrylics were uneven. I would not recommend. After today’s horrible service, I am pretty sure this would be my last time visiting the coat room.

Got my eyebrows waxed and unfortunately one of my brows was chopped shorter than the other so now my face looks lopsided :( She tried to tell me that was how my brows are naturally, but I know my own brows! She ruined my shape, I am just glad I didn’t have a wedding or other special event that would have looked terrible in photos. I just hope it doesn’t take long to grow back. It would have been better not to go at all.

DO NOT GO HERE! The worst customer service and horrible quality I’ve ever experienced. This was my first time here because I saw a groupon discount and decided to try it out because the location was central for me, however, that’s the only positive thing I have to say about this nail salon.As soon as I walked in there, the employees were extremely unwelcoming and rude. I told them my name and said I had a nail appointment and they just stared at me blankly and I had to ask what I should do... I finally got sat down and I asked my nail technician to remove my acrylics for me and she ended up soaking my nails in acetone for an ENTIRE hour. (Mind you, I’ve been getting acrylics removed for years now and I know enough by now to know that that’s not the right way to do it nor is it good for your skin). What could’ve taken a simple 5 minutes to remove my acrylics the PROPER way took an entire hour and it also damaged my skin due to being exposed to acetone for an hour. I politely asked my nail technician how much longer I had to soak it in for and she got mad at me for even asking... I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt and proceeded to the next step of getting my acrylics on, to which she did a horrible job. She tried to force glue the acrylics on my nail and my SKIN which also hurt a lot. The first time she tried applying the acrylics on one of my fingers, she kept messing up and had to try multiple times. After 3 times of her hurting my fingers and doing it completely incorrect, I finally stood my ground and told her she was hurting me and I wanted someone else to do my nails for me. I was finally relieved to get a new technician, however, she was just as unpleasant and left me alone to sit there for 5 minutes and never came back for me. At this point, I couldn’t take it since I had already wasted an hour and a half of my time here with no results and told them I’d leave, I offered to pay if I needed to for the acrylics removal but not a single technician spoke to me nor would look at me. So I finally walked out and went to another nail salon to get my nails fixed since they messed mine up.

Do not get dip/powder/SNS nail here! I went because my normal place wasnt open yet and I regret it. They did the process different and didnt use the clear powder with buffing at end. Instead she buffed it then put what Im assuming was clear nail polish on it because I had to let it dry for 15 minutes, which Ive never had to do before. The nails ended with a not very smooth finish and after about a week started coming loose. Complete waste of time and money. Worst of all, they sat someone right next to me during the last 20 minutes, not even close to 6 feet at all.

I’m going to write an honest review. Been here 3 times. First one was good, that’s why I decided to return with my co worker. Both of our nails were done terribly. Besides the layers and unprofessional look I was still charged for something that I wanted to remove the next day. It looked so horrible that I couldn’t even look at them. 3 days later, 3 fingers were damaged. I work in the medical field and don’t do much with my hands. We came back and my coworker got her shape and while gel fixed by Bryan. Since I didn’t have time to wait I left and he mentioned I could come back another time. I did, and he did not do my nails and gave me the same person who did my nails last time... Did not see a huge circle until I came home. Going to a nail salon should not be stressful, in fact should be relaxing. I would suggest finding a better place!

Worst experience I had. I do not recommend this place for manicures.I did dipping power nails and after 3 days they all fall off and I was left with damaged nails. I contact the coatroom they were not help. Very unsatisfied.

I was there to get manicure for my daughter, at the menu of services said acrylic nails $40 and I agreed with it. At the end the manicurist charged me with 60 bucks, just like that!Unprofessional services, they charged you more than the services you asked.Careful!!!!

I have been getting SNS at a different salon for over a year and I have never had them crack, pop off or chip before the two week period. These did all of the above in 5 days. Absolutely absurd for the amount of money I spent. I will never be returning.

DO NOT GO HERE Technicians are racists!!!! Manicure was very sub-par. Technicians didn’t realize I spoke Vietnamese as well and heard them saying racist things about my friends in Vietnamese. Very rude. Took my interns here to get manicures. Called a couple of weeks later to get a receipt for a corporate expense submission. Manager said he would give me a receipt and never did. I threatened to leave a bad review and he didn’t care. Refused to give me a receipt and abruptly and rudely hung up on me. Go to Modern Nail Bar on Clarendon Blvd instead. They are extremely nice and services are much better! Would give Coatroom 0 stars if I could.

This is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.Where do I begin...?First of all, I walked in last night at 7 pm (they close at 10pm) and asked if I could have a Manicure. The technicians stared at each other in silence then mumbled something. I gestured and said, “so..?”. One of the technicians then responded, “no sorry we can’t tonight.” So I proceeded to come back the next morning (today). When I walked in, no one greeted me or spoke to me. I had to go up to a technician and tell her that I had an appointment. She looked at me with a dry face, sighed and proceeded to tell me to sit down. She gave me a manicure in less than 15 minutes and filed my nails in a horrible way- every nail turned out different than the other! She also didn’t put nail polish on the tip of the nail, so they will definitely start chipping tomorrow. Also none of the customerS that walked in after me were greeted. The technicians seemed angry, tired and very unhappy and took it out on the customers. The technician also got some nail polish came on my skin and didn’t remove them. She finished my nails, got up and left. I sat there for about 5 extra minutes in awkward silence, waiting for my nails to dry until another technician came up to me and told me to get up so a customer can take my seat. Keep in mind that there were 3 other empty seats available. I guess my seat was made out of gold or something.I proceeded to pay my dues through venmo and left a small tip. The technician then proceeded to ask me , in a very loud voice “ you paid... $2 tip??”.I mean... overall, it was simply horrible.I once came here before and Bryan did my nails and that was AMAZING. Bryan wasn’t there today however- not sure if he’s the manager or not.I definitely want to ask for my money back.

Stopped in to get a wax and manicure. The lady selected to help me had attitude from the start-argues that it wasn’t her turn to work and it upset her when she had to. Went to the room and she had me lay down on paper that was clearly already used by someone else. The waxing was so fast and aggressive and when I showed her hair she missed she had attitude with me! Then I asked for Kleenex to wipe my brows and she said “I already cleaned them” and I said well I still need to wipe them please! So rude! Then she did my nails and didn’t say one word-I saw a spot she missed on my thumb and asked her to paint it and she didn’t speak just gave me a dirty look as she hid behind her mask. I wanted to try this salon so bad because it was so cute but I won’t return! I didn’t deserve the treatment I received and I question the cleanliness! Nail salons are a dime a dozen and I will keep looking for one! Wish I caught her name but by 730 they were ready to leave and almost everyone had left so I left before being able to ask anyone!

My nails looked better when I came in than when I left. I had an appointment but was ignored when I came in. Everyone was busy doing nails so i stood around waiting to be acknowledged. I was NOT pleased when i realized employees were doing each others nails, not customers, while ignoring me. Clean. Bad work. Rude.

I got my nails done last Saturday. I came from Baltimore because of Covid the salons are closed. I paid $111.00 and was please with Ninas service. They only do dipping powder. Two nails came off within two days. I was in d.c and for the two replaced by the manager. He rudely said you can’t do anything but sit still don’t do anything. I said not one word. Last night three nails popped off.Lesson learned. Don’t get a full set and think the dipping powder will be secure. The whole mail comes off.

Love the decor and atmosphere at Coat Room Nails. There are so many polish options! I especially loved the bath bomb options for the pedicure. Everything is so clean and equipment is sterilized. Great experience all around and for very reasonable pricing.

Nina is the best! If you ever make an appt, make sure to request her. She takes her time and is super thorough and my nails always look perfect. I have been here many times and to many technicians and she is the best!!

Good nail work but service wasnt the friendliest...they were probably tired and cranky. Overall nice experience, the owner saw I was waiting for my nails to dry and the technician was too busy to take care of men, so he offered a paraffin treatment(for free) -better than what I expected.

I had a great experience here. I came here with my wife and we didnt have an appointment but it must have been a slow evening during the week because there were plenty of technicians. Fairly friendly staff and reasonable prices. The only thing I would say that could be better is the seats. Not super relaxing, but not terrible.

I used to be a regular customer at coatroom but not anymore. They do not pick up their phones 📞 they would make sure it goes to voicemail if they don’t feel like taking more clients. The way they greet you is unacceptable even if they know that you are a regular customer. There are so many nail shops out there that would love more business so coatroom do better.

Very clean, professional and attentive. I rarely use Groupin for services and understand why. Please dont use Groupon for services here as it was a fiasco. It was rectified....finally; but it would have been much easier, quicker and ultimately cheaper if l had not used it.

Stopped in last weekend with my girlfriend for a manicure. We booked the appointment online and it was super easy. The place has an upscale feel to it and the service is fantastic. The location is also super convenient. I would definitely recommend Coatroom. Ive been to a few other salons over the years and Coatroom is by far the best.

I got a full set of tips, which visually looked very nice. Everyone kept peering over the woman doing my nails and watching her, which made me think shes either really good at what she does OR shes still learning. Unfortunately I think it was the latter. To the touch, my nails surface was totally uneven and one of my nails *literally broke the next day*... I was out of town for an event so I couldnt go back to get it fixed. Its too bad I didnt look at these reviews before going.

I went to Coatroom for the first time today and I enjoyed my experience. I was a walk-in and was able to get started on my gel manicure right away. The place was clean and nicely decorated. There were a lot of color choices. The woman who did my nails was focused and did a good job. It’s a little more expensive than nearby places (gel manicure is regularly 39). However, I had a coupon which helped. The coupons make it more affordable. I will be back to try out waxing and pedicure services as well.

DON’T GO HERE!!!!!! They nickel and dime you for everything. I took my family from out of town, and what an embarrassment!!!!! As we were checking out the ladies kept coming up to the guy checking me out and saying 5, 10 dollars more for services we did not even get! I can keep going on about how terrible the services were and how rude the employees are, but it all sums up to NEVER GO THERE!!!!!! SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY, TROUBLE, HEADACHE!

Nicely designed facility. Hostess wasn’t welcoming nor polite. My nail tech was very sweet. I asked for square nails but all the nails on my left hand slant down to the right. I should probably give Coatroom another chance, but I won’t be after a less than impressive first visit.

Great nails, beautiful parlor, poor experience. The person who checked me in for my appointment seemed irritated for no reason.The nail tech was nice enough but then got mad and rolled her eyes when I smudged my thumb nail a bit before going to the fan and she had to redo that nail. Just one nail.Also, they had a guest wifi network which was labeled as such. When I asked the lady who checked me in for the password, she acted very annoyed and did not even look up to give me the password.I never do my nails so this was supposed to be a nice, pampering experience. I left feeling worse than I came in. I am never returning.

I used to love Coat Room and tell all my friends about it. In the past 6 months, service has gone down hill tremendously. I walked in before the lunch rush the other day, and 3 women were sitting in the corner sewing and chatting. They looked up at the girl in the back doing laundry to indicate they were not going to assist me, so I stood there while she finished what she was doing then helped me. Another time, a lady was finishing my manicure but wanted to fit one more customer before close. So she finished my manicure AND started this womans as well. My patience has run out for the extremely poor customer service.

I really used to love this place but my last few appts have been incredibly negative. My husband and I had reservations for two pedicures this morning and they didn’t get started on mine for over 30 minutes. And we had appointments! A surly tech came up to me after 20 minutes - saw my feet in the bowl and then asked if i wanted a pedicure. Why else would my feet be soaking in the bowl? She then started on my husband instead of me which makes zero sense - why would you start the quicker pedicure first if two people are obviously together? Two stars because at least my actual tech was fantastic. When we paid we were told tip had to be cash so my husband left to get it and I watched another customer get told she could put the tip on her card. Unbelievable.

Got a gel manicure and the Next day it was chipping. Also, the lady scraped under my nails so rough during my manicure she lifted the nail from the nail bed. I wont be going back no matter how convenient it is.

My manicurist stayed late to complete my mani and did a great work! Love my nails!

Great experience! They cared about my satisfaction and were very sweet. They were quick and efficient without cutting corners. I did the standard mani/pedi and still enjoyed a lengthy massage. I was done in just an hour and was still very satisfied with what I got. Will be back!

Worst place ever. I came in to get acrylic nails.The nail tech kept giving me attitude and I asked to get coffin nails and they looked more squared then anything I asked to get it fixed and she said that was the coffin shape. Worst part of all when she painted my nails it was the worst thing she didn’t want to fix the mistakes she was making when I would tell her. She was just roll her eyes and give me attitude at the end my nail polish was bubbly and a very bad paint job. And then she’s still going to ask for tip. Also I called again this afternoon to see if I can either get them redone or get my money back and they told me I was a liar that I never went to get my nails done there and they decided to block my number and won’t answer any other number I call from

This salon is the only one I go to for my nails Ive never had any issue with the work there, and am always happy with my nails. The workers are efficient and friendly, they always go above and beyond to do a good job.

Advertised a $29 gel manicure on the website, dont fall for this! Its a scam. I was charged $54 because i walked in with acrylic on my nails. Another person was also overcharged while I was there getting my nails done. I came in the hopes of getting my nails done there every week...looks like they lost my repeat business. DONT DO BUSINESS HERE

I was not impressed with the Coatroom and definitely not impressed for the price. I think the biggest issue was their 20% off service special sign out front which is why I thought I would try it out. AFTER my $35 pedicure w/o tip, I was informed it was only for Fridays they did that special? Very unethical and misleading- I went outside after and it definitely does not say anywhere on the sign that it is only for Fridays. The pedicure chairs have no massage on the back and the pedicure was done in less than 20 minutes.... two days later my toe nail polish completely came off while wearing heels. Would not recommend.

I got the dipping manicure and I loved the whole experience! My aesthetician was very sweet and careful. Will be coming back & highly recommend!

I am always hesitant to write bad reviews, but my experience was really awful. I came in for a pedicure and the technician cut my toe. To add insult to injury, the pedicure was really terrible! I still have tons of dry skin on my feet. I essentially paid $35 to be injured and have someone paint my toes. Don’t go here.

Never coming back here again... Extremely overpriced for mediocre service and quality and seemingly not the most hygienic. Not to mention it took 30 mins for someone to work on me (and I was on time for my appointment), the polish I wanted was bad so couldnt get it, I was told to hurry up in picking an alternative, I wasnt offered water, no place to hang your stuff, however the nail tech of course didnt hesitate to mention her preference for cash tips.

I love Coatroom! It is so clean which I love the most. The pedicure tubs have individual plastic linings and tools are individually wrapped. Towels are always fresh and the stylists always wash their hands before getting started. Everyone is do nice and offers water and pillows, whatever will make you comfortable. I usually get gel mani/pedi and am always pleased with how they turn out. Only reason Im not giving 5 stars is because I wish they had a larger selection of colors!!!

The nail salon is very aesthetically pleasing but its soooo overpriced. Gel manicure for 39$ Ive been all around the US and never have I had to pay that much. The lady that did my nails was very nice! Although my nails were really long and she cut them super short. I wouldnt go back honestly...

My two friends and I loved our girl date at Coatroom, and I am so happy with Joys service! We did regular pedis and gel manis. They had a large color selection, and Joy was awesome in helping me find neon gel colors (to match my mood). We werent rushed and were seen at exactly our appointment time. As with most businesses, paying cash for a tip is best - but in case, she took Venmo. We will probably come back and highly recommend it.

The worst nail experience I was in town for Thanksgiving I arrived for a 9:30 appointment and only the receptionist was there, around 9:45 the staff were coming i signing a paper at the receptionist desk and then saying they had to go look for parking. Then the worst customer service started. The woman who was going to do my manicure come in late and slow I said I have a parking meter that was going run out in 50 minuets. It took her 50 minuets to shape my nails I told her my meter was going to run out they gave me 2 quarters for my inconvenience. It was then another 1.5 hours before she was done. So my 9:30 appointment took until 11:45 and it was a total mess of a regular basic manicure. I called the owner and emailed him only to get a $5.00 credit. I would not recommend this place to anyone

This was my first time at the coat room and disappointed. They didnt have swatches for the colors. They told me I had to open the bottles to see the gel colors. When I asked the nail tech why they didnt have swatches her response was because the colors where new. Its hard to believe the whole wall of colors is new and past season colors from two years back. A woman came in after me and had the same issue with the colors and left. I should have done the same. When the lady walked out they proceeded to criticize her infront of the customers when the lady had the right to be puzzled as into why youd have to open each bottle to see the color as was I. They charged me 40$ for a simple gel mani that was nothing out of this world and now that I have gotten home the polish is bubbling. Im a believer of you get what you pay for, and dont mind at all spending the extra money as long as its worth it. And I didnt get what I paid for..... Will not be coming back.

Great experience. Very, very clean conditions. They use a disposable liner for the pedicure basins with each client. The color selection is like none Ive ever seen.

Would have been my first time, but never again! Today, I seriously needed a manicure and I checked the closest nail salon near my office. I chose the Coatroom because I remembered when they opened and always said that I would someday try them out. Well, today was that day. I called ahead to see if their was availability before walking over. I was excited, I could envision my nails neat and manicure fresh. When I arrived there were five techs in the salon and one was with an actual customer, two were chilling off in the corner near the pedi-station and the other two were sitting as one did the others nails. When I walked in, I was greeted and asked what I wanted to have done. What was confusing was when the other lady sitting at the station began to ask me the very same question as the other lady - as if the other lady who stood up to greet me couldnt comprehend what I was asking.So, I decided that I would address both of them - thinking that perhaps the lady sitting down getting her nails done was maybe the manager. So, here is where my Never Again comes in. Customer service is never condescending, its pleasant and welcoming. Talking to the woman as she slightly shook her head while waiting for me to respond was unnecessary and rude. You know the type of person who slightly pushes her neck forward and has that sarcastic look on her face like any day now. Now, I was still in excited anticipation mode when I arrived, so I couldnt ask her if something was wrong with her neck and if she wanted me to spell what I wanted out, since it seemed she couldnt comprehend what I was asking. I had already checked the price online, I called to schedule an appointment, and I arrived on time. At that moment, I realized that my money would be better spent someplace else. Lesson of the day, your response is important and determines the outcome of the situation. Her outcome, she just missed out on an awesome amazing customer who has plenty of colleagues who were just looking for a place near the office. The other outcome is commenting and rating the service, in this case the NON-Service. Have a great day on purpose!

I scheduled an appointment. I was seen ontime. Trinny was wonderful! She helped me pick a beautiful color (funny bunny) gel polish! The bathroom was cute and clean. I was literally in and out in 35 mins! Thanks guys! Ill be back for sure!

I have been coming here since it opened and I absolutely love it. Every technician I had did an amazing job. I especially like going to Sophie, she always does a great job!

Bought a mani/pedi in a charity auction and had it done early this week. The manicurist (the manager?) did a perfunctory job, was offhand, asked for payment before I was finished, disappeared so I couldnt give her a tip and just left me hanging. Total lack of interest. 3 days later, it is beginning to flake off. Luckily not my usual place. Not good for charity.

I won’t be back. Insanely overpriced for what they offer and rude to a friend and I when we questioned pricing (nothing is posted and they don’t have a menu). We arrive roughly 30 minutes before closing and were absolutely rushed even though we called ahead to be sure it was ok we still came. Large color selection but few matches between gel and regular polish which was also a litttle annoying again considering the high price. The paint job on my hands and toes was good which is the ONLY reason for 2 stars, otherwise def would have get 1star.

In a word - awful. Rushed through. My pedicure chipped with in 3 hours. Everything about the experience was terrible. Im used to quality, nice nail salons - and this certainly isnt up to par.

The one star is for the decor and the fact that customer service wasn’t poor. I am soooo dissatisfied and livid with the work done on me. I got mani pedi with sns powder. The job took twice as long and my nails look shoddy and have done. I was told by more than one person that my toes were dry. Only to get home to smudged toes. The pedicure was like super fast, I didn’t even feel it was done. What a waste of $61!! I am extra mad because I wanted perfect nails for my trip and I drove over an hour to come here. Smh!!

Very professional; I asked for a wax and was advised why it would be a bad idea, so they werent just after my money. When doing a French Manicure, the lady redid one of my tips when she examined it and was dissatisfied with her own work. They took their work seriously, and gave a very pleasant massage with the mani-pedi to boot. Id be a regular if I wasnt visiting them whilst om vacation.

Do not waste your money on setup pedicure as they do not take their time massaging /scrubbing your feet. Online says the service should take 1 hour and mine took 40minutes. I really enjoyed the salon when it first opened, but the service now sucks!I really loved the tool they used to scub my feet the first time I came to the salon, but it wasnt used in the most recent visit. When I went to pay I asked if they no longer use the tool and was informed that they do and she was confused as to why it wasnt used on my pedicure. The cashier talked to the technician and told me that tech did not use it but will next time I come it. Just shows me the girl rushed and wanted me out of the chair.

I get regular pedis and gel manis. The location is convenient and a stylish decor theme. They have upscale polish brands and trendy colors. My favorite technician is Taylor. She is the best! Ive had gel manicures last 3+ weeks on many occasions. They also only take appointments which prevents long waits! Go to taylor if you try coatroom!!

If you plan to get deep powder nails manicure , stay away please !!! Some if the technicians doesn’t evenly know how to apply it !! NEVER BACK !!

I’ve gone here twice for eyebrow waxes and both times my skin ended up very irritated. This never happens at any other place I’ve gotten my eyebrows waxed at.
