I wasn’t sure that I would be able to get the vehicle that I wanted but Jose and the Director of the finance department worked their magic. I was able to drive off in the vehicle that I wanted and didn’t have to compromise on the options that I wanted. I will be forever grateful for them!!!

Koons Toyota of Annapolis is just....wow!!! I had some terrible experienced at other Toyota dealers around Maryland. Sales Consultant Michael Harris went above and beyond any expectations. He is by no means, the stereotypical car salesman. He keeps it real and has an actual conversation with you. Makes you feel like youre not just a paycheck, which is just not an experience at a car dealership I expected. The manager Jason, who came in to close the deal, was incredible and super friendly. Never thought I would say that about a sales manager at a car dealer. In the end, he made me an offer I just couldnt walk away from. In this market, any other dealer just shuts down when it comes to negotiating. It was a welcome experience that will have me going there for all my services, even though they arent the closest to me. I also have to mention the finance manager Alex. Very straight forward and willing to explain all the details. He is very patient, even when you want to read every word of the contract and ask an absurd amount of questions for clarification. All in all. You cannot go wrong with Koons Toyota of Annapolis. The only negative I can come up with is the pricing in the current market, but that isnt even their fault. Kudos to this dealership and their straight forward no BS approach to sales.Thank You!!!!

Like a lot of people, I’d never been a fan of the car buying process—and then I walked into Koons Toyota Annapolis, and my perception has irrevocably changed thanks to exemplary staff like Carlos Rivera and Kathy Klein. What made this dealership and the service they provide different was the quality of the people who I interacted with; they were genuine, and destroyed about every stereotype for car salesmen and women by being honest throughout the entire process, and both in their own way. Even though I inadvertently started the process late in the day on a weekend I never once felt I was burdening anyone because both Carlos and Kathy were so adept at engaging me in conversation about the options I had, what I went for, and truly just life in general. Carlos stayed until I had completed the deal, to say congratulations and remind me about some of the car’s features. Kathy was incredible with how quickly she developed solutions for what I saw as potential hurdles. Our experience at Koons Annapolis Toyota was great. Everyone we encountered at the dealership was great and there wasn’t any sales “double talk” with dubious claims that we have experienced at other dealerships. The sale process was very straightforward with each line item clear and well explained. Our sales person was Devon and he was great over the phone and in person. As a buyer coming from out of state I was amazed by the level of professionalism by Brett. From the initial phone call Brett answered all of our questions and took us very seriously. This meant a lot to us as many sales personnel dont take out of state buyers as seriously. Brett even recorded a video for us showing us the vehicle so we knew beforehand what to expect before making the drive. This added a personal touch that really helped seal the deal for us making the drive to the dealership and ultimately buying the vehicle. We knew which vehicle we wanted, but Brett walked us through many features we didnt even know about. He was very personable/knowledgeable along with all of the other staff members. We found the car we wanted off of Koons’ website and had set up a time to meet with Brian Williams. Brian was awesome, he was courteous and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. At no time did he pressure us. He was very patient as we looked at a couple vehicles. The price was very fair. We are very happy with our purchase. Jerry was our finance guy and he was also great. Very knowledgeable about the products they offer and explained it well. Koons gave us an excellent car for a great price. The car was clean, well maintained, and all the maintenance was completed by Koons (new brakes, tires, etc). My only critic is that after we selected the car and was waiting for finance to get to us, it took quite a bit of time until we spoke with someone. While I realize there’s a lot of paperwork, we spent about 45 minutes waiting until someone met with us. I also recognize this is not totally on Koons fault since they probably were waiting on communications with the DMV/other agencies involved. But no big deal, since we are very happy with our purchase. Very impressed with the service here, a stellar place to buy a car. Thank you Brian and Jerry, and thank you to the Koons team!

The last time I bought a new car was in 1998. It was a Toyota 4Runner and I literally ran it into the ground. When I donated it last year it had 302,000 miles on the original engine with the original transmission. So i was determined to buy a new Toyota. This time I chose a Highlander Hybrid. Despite the shortage of inventory, the team at Koons did an excellent job helping me to identify exactly the right car. Margo S and Mikey Harris were terrific about keeping me informed as my car was being built and delivered. Mikey let me know the minute the car arrived and I was there the next day to pick it up. Working with Jerry Tavenner on the financing was a breeze. He was thorough and friendly. Before I left, Mikey took the time to show me the Highlander’s features. Overall, I was extremely happy with the way I was treated at Koons and I’m looking forward to another 302,000 miles in my new Toyota!

Chris Zook helped me purchase a 2017 TRD 4x4. He was a great salesman; mostly straightforward and very helpful. Finance department was able to beat my credit union on rate. Big Finance guy (not sure if he was a manager) was a total salesman only offering me deals that scratched his back more than it did mine. When I refused his bigger sales package, he penalized me by raising the rate. That’s why the 4 star rather than 5. However, it was a good experience overall.

I just wanted to take a moment and say how happy I was with my experience at Koons Annapolis today. Our drive in was almost 2 hours and it was completely worth it. Knowing exactly what I wanted, I started my process on the website. From there, I was contacted by Mikey Harris (our salesman) and not only was he friendly and quick to respond, but he went over and beyond by sending us a video of the truck without us asking. Being that we started the process online and hadnt seen it in person, this was a wonderful touch. The finance department (Thanks Kathy and Antonio!) and manager were also very kind and helpful. If you are wondering why we drove that far... Hands down best pricing in the area. Yes, a little higher due to the pandemic/chip shortages/car storage... But if you havent turned on tv or read the news lately, thats the case everywhere, but still much better than the other guys.

We bought a Highlander today and Armando was our salesman. What a pleasure he was to work with! Genuine, not at all pushy, great sense of humor. Koons Annapolis ToyotaBUYER BEWARE Barbara (PR REP) was very pleasant and did her job but the dealership doesn’t take ownership in their Bait and Switch IE apparently their online prices are just suggestions not your walk out the door price . I would suggest Browns Toyota ( ask for Alan) or Heritage in Catonsville if you want the price you see online - if you want to pay more just call Annapolis they are happy to take your money !BTW Quote was 6-8k above online price and they added freight and options . I bought the same car with 0 miles for just under 10k less than their final price !

Havent been thrilled with their Service Center. High costs and car still not repaired after two visits.Took my 2015 car in late June for what a local shop said was a rear main seal leak and had to be done at a dealer. This dealer said big job, $2300, including computer diagnostic that confirmed rear main seal again. They added some gaskets and another $200, of which they eventually refunded $101. Paid $2500. Car was leaking within days of pick-up. Took it back. They said the seal issue meant they couldnt diagnose another possible leak source and that was an additional $350. My assigned rep said they didnt want to repeat the big seal job if it was just this, even though I said leak pattern was same and they already had my money. Paid additonal fee and begged them to extend warranty on the original seal. They did. Glad I did because the car is still leaking like it did initially, which makes me think that second charge wasnt necessary and they should have repeated the seal first. Hoping the third times a charm and after almost 3k, theyll finally fix the initial issue correctly.

I recently had a recall on my Toyota. Theresa Harris at Toyota made the experience an amazing one. She was on top of the prosses at all times, had my car picked up, repaired and dropped off in 24 hours, a huge task since I am in Delaware and they are in Maryland some 75 miles away. Theresa you far exceeded my expectations . The service could not have been any better.

Margo S., the Product Specialist who worked with my wife and me at Koons Annapolis Toyota, was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Her customer service skills were excellent. She provided great information in assisting us to find the vehicle that was right for us in terms of make, model, and accessories. Margo answered all of our questions thoroughly, and quickly obtained answers to the very few questions she was unable to answer immediately. Our experience purchasing a new vehicle at Koons Annapolis Toyota was excellent, largely due to Margos knowledge and friendly manner.

While i did have to wait a while on the finance department to close the deal out, kathy was very nice and informative, also faster than other finance people I’ve dealt with in the past. This is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. There very friendly over the phone to,get you in. I had already spoke with salesman Neal in used cars. He said they would do their best to get me in my price range. I had looked at another truck farther away and it was 3000 dollars less and less mileage. He said bring in the paperwork for that truck and said they would talk because there truck had 20000 more miles also. To be to the point they came with the original price and when I asked about the reducing I was so rudely spoke to and told go if it doesnt work out I know where they are. Not I minute of trying to make me happy or even a happy mid point. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Oh also dont believe about trade in value. Save yourself some time and go some were else.

I had a fairly pleasant car-buying experience, purely due to Henry Reynold’s demeanor and expertise. He was very professional, respectful, and friendly (but not the typical I’m-just-trying-to-sell-a-car friendly). I was a first-time car buyer and he worked to make it a fair deal for both parties. The total process took much longer than I was expecting, but Henry did his best to make the experience better. I also ended up paying less than I expected! I’d recommend him to anyone!

Great used car buying experience with Chris Zook. We were in the market for two used cars. Chris was very patient showing us the inventory, arranging test drives, and suggesting alternatives when some of the models we thought would work did not pan out. Very honest and open about imperfections in various cars, and no hard sell. After buying one car, we returned when Chris advised us of a new arrival that might work, and it did. Meanwhile we had looked at multiple other dealers, and at those other dealers we ran into the old-school sales games, refusal to give a straight answer, and aggressive pitches that the industry should abandon. The contrast in approach was dramatic, and we much preferred the collaborative approach that Chris took.

This was one of the best experiences I’ve had at a car dealership. I have Chris and Latonya to thank for that. They are both very good at what they do! Chris took his time with me to made sure the car I picked was the right fit for me and was excellent at following up! There was not a single moment where I felt like I was just another sale. He’s awesome! Latonya is very good at what she does as well. After talking with me she guided me in what was the best route for me to take in regards to purchasing. She even recommended a few products to me that were in my best interest. She assured me she would make sure I get the car I wanted and she pulled through even when I had doubts myself. I’m very please with customer service I received here and I also really appreciate the fact they didn’t treat me any different than any other customer despite my age. The level of professionalism and effective communication at this dealership is mind blowing, I would 100% recommend everyone looking to get a car to shop at this dealership. The sales person I worked with (Chris) was very nice and offered great customer service, Mrs. Latoya in finance was also superb and really helpful. It was a wonderful experience overall, and a pleasure doing business with Koons Annapolis Toyota.

I had a converter pump go out at 80,000 miles which abruptly caused a catastrophic transmission failure. The vehicle ran perfectly fine until the day it failed. At no time did a check engine light come on warning me of the failure. I service my vehicle every 5,000 miles as well though the gentleman who sold me the car stated general maintenance is only required every 10,000. The technician told me there was nothing that could have been done to avoid this and that it was just “bad luck.” Also, because there’s no fault warning, if this happens again, I’ll have to pay for another transmission. Toyota North America provided little to 0 assistance simply basing their ability to help on what warranty I bought and that it was expired. Every attempt to reach a GM was a waste of time as I was redirected to someone else. Customer relations spoke to service department who finally agreed to good will $400 off the $7,500 bill. On top of that, several days of delays on repairs has costed me business. The last Toyota I will ever buy. Also, now that I’ve gotten the vehicle back after 2 weeks, electronics such as my dash cam were unplugged and another set of electronics was taken from my vehicle.

Buying a new car is never quick or simple, but Armando streamlined the process as much as possible and made the experience surprisingly pleasant. He explained all aspects clearly, was respectful, knowledgeable, professional and courteous. If you go to Koons Annapolis Toyota, ask for Armando!!

I went in to Koons Annapolis Toyota hoping to get a new car and came out with a truck that I love. Brian Tuma was a great help and very patient with me. I’ve been telling everyone that asked about my truck to go to Koons Annapolis they will definitely work with you and get you in a new car.

This was my first time buying a car with no co-signer! So I had what felt like a very long day but luckily I had Jose who helped me through it all and talked me through everything and I left with a car that I love! Aug 24th, Tuesday, 4:30 pm, 92 degrees, Used car department.My family drove over an hour to get here and wanted to see the used 2017 RX350. The price seemed fair and if the car looks good we are ready to buy.No you can’t. The GM took it home. He lives across the bridge and he is not coming back today. Come back tomorrow.Great, I will make sure to avoid this store for the rest of my life.

Allow me to explain…Pros1) The car works2) They stayed there with me after hours in the Finance department to assist with a cash payment3) Barbara did follow up with me (Customer Relations) after my first review. She’s like the most reliable person I’ve spoken to thereThat’s about it for the pros 🤷🏾‍♂️ConsWhere do I start?1) Neal ran a credit application after I explicitly told him that I would be purchasing with cash. He LIED and stated “They won’t even talk to you without this”. I have no issue with a credit check but I do have an issue with the lie. I’m sure it was a plot to get me to purchase a more expensive vehicle and just finance it (my assumption). Anyway, for that he’s cancelled in my book 🤷🏾‍♂️ He also did not follow up with any of my calls. Like 0 of them. I have phone records to prove it.2) After purchasing the vehicle, 4 days to be exact, the speed sensor went out. I’m “guessing” it was out when they sold it but reset the check engine light to hide it so that I’d come back and pay them to change it. Did it myself.3) They were suppose to order my tag and plate from Alabama (where I’m registered) and send it to my DMV address. A week before my temp tag expired I had to call them so they can tell me that i wouldn’t receive it before it expired. Why couldn’t they have called me?!? I said well I’ll go get my own. Sandi Dehn sent an email stating that she would send me another temp tag when mines expired. It expired on 9/22. Today is 9/24 and my temp tag is expired. No follow up. No replacements. Just LIES. Koons auto (idc what dealership it is) will NEVER get my business again and anyone else’s who asks. Please just send the new temp tag so I can go about my business 🤦🏾‍♂️4) Like everyone else said they do try to bait and switch as well.Overall, this was my worst car buying experience ever!

There was a very specific car that I saw on their website and after scheduling the appointment he had the car ready in front of the dealership for the test drive.
