I loved working here as the Certified Peer Specialist. Mike was a great boss with a fantastic sense of humor, and I really miss Brenda, Sarah, and Jeannette.Everyone I worked with was kind-hearted, encouraging, and understanding. I loved running groups and always looked forward to going to work. I was considering stopping by, although I didnt know if that was possible. I hope everyone is doing well.For the most part, it was great working with my peers. It was inspiring seeing how many people who have struggled greatly want to recover from mental illness. Some days, Id get yelled at by a peer, but no one chooses mental illness and we all have bad days. Overall, it was a great experience.

Haven House is an amazing resouce. As a social worker at a different agency, they have helped my clients (veterans in need) whenever needed.

I feel I’m there to sign a pad so someone can get paid. 1 hour session and it’s sopose to continue the following week . Well one week I put my therapist through the test and asked her what were we talking about last week she didn’t have a clue.. made me feel like she don’t take notes and half the time she not giving a dam what I’m saying but she sure pay attention to the clock about sign here.. also I’ve never been put on so many psyc meds. Cause after the fact I do the research and let them know I can’t take that meds due to the one I’m on now..one person don’t listen another don’t care but plays with your entelligence making you think they doing there job...Is this a scam or what?

The staff is rude. They kept giving me an appointment every 3 months, god forbid someone needs immediate help. The doctors are unprofessional. My second appointment only lasted 30 minutes and it suppose to be an hour but they still billed my insurance for the hour i didnt have. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else. Its abundantly clear that the staff is just there to collect a paycheck and doesnt care.

There something not right about Haven House. They are supposed be there to support and help those in the community with mental health issues. Mostly, you will find they have attitude. They make you feel as if you are an annoyance. Ive never felt that they truly cared. This is not a good place to go to, for kindness, compassion and understanding. You may leave feeling worse than before you entered.

Theres something wrong with this place. One of their psychiatrists said really unprofessional & messed up things to me, kept insulting me, and spent the entire appointment accusing me of being a drug addict. Dr. Thomas responded by canceling my appointment w/ a different psychiatrist & making a new one during my work hours without telling me, then scheduling an appointment for when he is on vacation. That same day I got a voicemail to reschedule trying to get me to see that same psychiatrist I previously had. This is all very strange, and seems like a legal defense at the expense of my well being. Im not suing them, just want a professional doctor...

Fantastic atmosphere!

My psychiatrist is ignoring my plea for Buspar to help with my GAD. Buspar is not habit forming and may help my depression medication. Why?

Waited 3 months for an appointment. Day finally comes they have to close at 3 . And im told you are first on the waiting list . Like really ?! Im extremely depressed and have to wait even longer . And the lady was rude to me . Don’t waste your time unless you are stable to wait months to see a dr... update they apologized many of times and got me a new appointment the next day

Another sub-par mental health clinic in the Lehigh Valley. I had high hopes when I began here, but 6 months later, I am ready to leave. I am in need of physciatric rehab services and cannot not get an answer as to whether or not they will actually help me or just point give me advice. I keep getting conflicting answers. I have had problems with so many staff members and the wellness teamas well. Therapists have ignored my main issue, clutter since I was there. There has been no planning to help me be able to live clean and clutter free life. I also struggle with ADL s and no plan or support to again tackle the issue. They thought training dogs would help? I had a wellness team member out to the living situation to see first-hand and nothing was done to address the situation. Then They blame me for being angry and speaking up for myself. Not what mental health services are about especially waiting months for the psychiatric wellness team then getting told they can not help me do any of the work.

I am currently a patient here seeing a psychiatrist. I now need counseling since my last counsoler left the practice. I have spoken to the office manager a couple of times. I have left voicemails after voicemails for the front desk, the nurse, nearly every extension there is nearly every day for the past week and no one will call me back !!! Youre lucky if anyone ever answers the phone let alone return your call. I have never experienced anything like this in my lifeI understand that they are busy but they could at least have the courtesy to call me back. It would take a couple of mins maybe to tell me that there might be a waiting period before being scheduled. This is so unprofessional.

Called 3x to make an appointment. Apparently the ONE person that make appointments for new and existing patients gets 40-50 calls per day and needs time to call you back .still waiting 2 weeks later. God forbid someone needs help ASAP.

Very difficult to return a call.They never call you back.
