I have been with preventive measures a little over a year now and I would just like to say that Karina my therapist is by far the best therapist I have had in over 25 years of dealing with mental health and I am only 32 years old. She goes above and beyond her duties as a therapist and she is very knowledgeable and very helpful with anything you need help with as well as will be a person who you can vent to and understand completely what your going through. I dont know what I would do without her and I would recommend her as a therapist if you are looking for a therapist. Preventive Measures Is a very exceptional place compared to whats offered around me.

Horrible place to work will never ever recommend ANYONE to work here. They do no care for their employees, management can and will get away with anything. I mean ANYTHING. Every single time I reached out to my ACC, she NEVER and I mean never reached out to me. The VP is unprofessional, has cursed and screamed at me several times. She’s very nasty person work for. She has asked me to pay me under the table, I was so worried that this was fraud I talked to the social work about it and they told me to find another Agency. After telling my client about my experience, we both left.

Its really sad how after reaching out for help an not one person called. Its been over 2 weeks since I reached out via phone and email. Depression is serious an to try to get help an dont is very disappointing

If this place is anything like there home care services/ agency, its a big FRAUD, judging by the ratings its safe to say it is, preventive measures in general seemingly love to commit FRAUD

Not a very positive first impression... How you going to say you are a mandated reporter for child abuse? That was a strange thing to say usually they say if you are a harm to yourselves or others? And then try to say it has nothing to do with race? Strange to say as well... Also asked another strange question if the pregnancy my mother had with me had any complications? And thats mandated? How so? I never had a therapist ask any of these things? Not very happy, will go elsewhere.

The time and attention the staff have given me over the years shows just how dedicated they are to helping their patients. I cant imagine how I would have made it through the tough times Ive experienced over the years without them. Truly thankful

I spent 30-40 minutes with a receptionist verifying pertinent info. We concluded by scheduling an appointment with George. She even called to recheck an insurance number and I took the opportunity to repeat the upcoming appointment.The morning of the appointment I called for parking info and said that I will see them later at 3:00. Oh, they had my info, but failed to schedule the appointment...none at all!Initially, I was angry. Now, I thank you because if you cant schedule my appointment, how will you be able to assist me with mental health issues.The search for competent mental health professionals continues....

I love Preventive measures everyone is so nice and I my therapist George and I have a great client therapist relationship he has helped me so much Ive been a client of his for four years and I can tell him anything I feel very comfortable in confiding on him I adore the nurse practitioner Alan and Dr Garcia is very cool I look forward to my appointments even the Secretary is very cool

Dont get the counselor George he will put u down to where you have a mental breakdown I think he forgot he worksaid in mental health

GO ANYWHERE ELSE!The one star is for therapist Diane who is the ONLY reason Im stuck dealing with this horrible place! They have no respect for patients time, showing up late for the first appointment in the morning. The doctors dont bother to read charts before shoving scripts at you for what fits THEIR beliefs. Dr. Afzal actually told me to just stop taking the antidepressant cymbalta cold turkey! After that encounter I requested a different doctor and they refused. I went through months of fighting this. This Dr. crosses lines to the point he lied on my evaluation, gave me bad medication instructions and basically kicked me out of his office claiming my 15 minutes was up after only 7 minutes. That is until my insurance got involved. Now lets talk about how they refuse to fill out paperwork and getting past the women at the desk! First it was fine drop it off. Then it became you have to see the doctor before they will fill anything out. Then it was you gotta catch the doctor in a good mood. Now its you cant just make an appointment to fill out paperwork the Dr will get mad we are cancelling your appointment. No youre not! Dr Dumont is ok and I love Diane but the rest of them need to get gone. Oh and dont even get me started on the nasty building or tiny little freezing cubes they call offices!

If I could have, I would have given 0 stars. The most unprofessional staff I have ever encountered and the director is the epitome of incompetence. The therapist have no idea nor seem overly concerned about the patients history and they never requested the medical records even after seeing the patient for 4 months! Initially, the patient was assigned to a therapist who cancelled more than he was in the office. It took them over 4 months to ask the patient to complete the release of medical history forms.Shouldnt that have been the first step before admitting a patient into care? HUGE GAPS in care. Even though the patient has an appointment time, it doesnt matter...the patient was seen 3 hours after the scheduled time, but if the patient is 11 mins late, the appointment is cancelled! Worst of all the sessions are supposed to last 45 mins...they charge the insurance company for an hour, require the full co pay and the sessions really only last 30 mins at most. I hope this place is investigated for potential insurance fraud. Sad commentary on the state of services for mental health care in America.

By far this has been the worst experience for me. I am a returning patient for Preventitive measures. Melissa is my therapist. She scheduled 20 appts reoccurring then leaves. The reception indicated she was out for 3 weeks when I spoke to her a week prior. I do not recommend them. Now they have a floater therapist. It is suppose to be confidential. Why would they give a floater for a day. Everyone has their own experience my experience just happen to not fulfill me whatsoever.

Incompetent, poor management, you have no one to complain to as according to them they have no supervisor. They do whatever they want, even if you are mentally stable, they want to see you weekly, if not, they dont give you an appointment with the doctor. He cares little if you have medicine or not, they refer you to your primary doctor or to the emergency room. They do not have parking, dirty offices, badly educated secretaries ... They focus on so many appointments because what they are interested in is charging insurance ... I do not recommend them to anyone, they take advantage of the fact that one is a mental patient to treat one as they please and not listening to their complaints or needs ... Just because one has mental problems does not mean that we are stupid and that one does not know how one is supposed to be cared for.:. I would say many other things but I would have to spend hours writing ...

Horrible service! I dont want to help!they want money to not help you!
