Wonderful salon! Very clean, efficient staff, and the nail techs who were not originally American spoke great English. I saw a different tech every time and always had the best service.Their premium pedicures (hot stone) are amazing. And so are their pedicure chairs. So comfortable.I lived in the area for about 1 year and was a regular. Unfortunately I moved so now I need to find another salon as good and clean as this one. I miss you Bliss Lounge!

I have come here for pedicures before and enjoyed my experience, so I went out on a limb to trust them with my refill. It was a great experience! My nails came out beautiful and exactly how I wanted them. Will be back!

Very nice gel French manicure done by woman with long hair dyed blonde at the end. She was very nice and even squeezed me in as a walk in before her next appointment, but still took her time to make sure everything was good. Hope to come back. By

I love this place! I regularly come to Zaya for my nails and she does an amazing job. She is so meticulous and always makes sure my nails look perfect. I would also recommend her for eyebrow waxing. All of the staff is always super friendly and makes you feel welcome.

My nails look good, and it was a relaxing pedicure. They didnt try to upset me on a spa pedicure, which I appreciate. Ill be back!

The manager was the sweetest, and she assisted me on getting a pedicure done as I accidentally made an appointment at a different location. The lady who did my regular pedicure did an awesome job, and for the price, I do recommend. I did have to come back the next day to get them repainted, because some nails were missing paint, and some looked like they needed maybe an extra coat. They did not turn me away asking to come back, and I was able to get seen on time both days. Thank you ladies.

When I went for a manicure, I showed the lady how I wanted my nails. Apparently she figured I only wanted the base color and not the design which was two lines different colors. She hurried and got up and said she didnt have time when I asked about finishing my nails. The receptionist tried to accommodate by asking another lady to do the design which she replied she didnt know how to do. UNBELIEVABLY unprofessional. I wouldve respected this establishment alot more if they told me they were unable to do my nails the way I wanted and couldve save my time and went somewhere else.

I have been getting my nails done at this shop for several months with Jenny and Terri. They have excellent costumer service and professional staff. Also, i need to mention the wide range of nail polish colors which was so so great!

I loved coming here! The customer service was exceptional. They made me feel so comfortable and very relaxed. The lady who did my lashes was very friendly and caring. I highly recommend this place.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!Always clean and beautiful work. They take their time and give you a all around great experience. Then accommodating to many styles you my be interested in. Overall I was so happy with how clean the nails come out looking. How well Jessica and another Nail tech exfoliated and trimmed my feet/nails. All part of a regular pedicure. Super happy since the first time I went there because another salon or two had damaged my nails prior. My nails hand been filled down and was painful to have polish removed 😓 but each time until my nails grown back to normal, each tech was nice and patient and knew to not damage and over file in general not just for my case. I will continue to go back to them since I’ve tried many just out of convenience but have learned to actually chose a quality salon 🙌❤️❤️❤️❤️

Edit: raised to five stars - for nails. Four weeks after my gel manicure, there are no chips and they look great.Original: Great place for nails. The technician really took time to trim my cuticles and my gel manicures look great.However, their lash services are not as stellar. When I got the lash lift and tint, there was no difference to my lashes. The lady noted that it’s due to my hair type (Asian, straight), but I’ve had lash lifts done before with noticeable results, so I don’t really think that’s the case.The atmosphere and service is pleasant. They offer drinks upon arrival and I like that you can add tip on your credit card as I rarely have cash on me.

First pedicure in 8 months and was a bit nervous to go to a nail salon... was very happy with the safety and social distancing measures. Nail tech was kind, worker quickly and safely, wore a mask and did a nice job. I’ll be back! Really nice selection of OPI polishes and dips too.

Worst bikini wax of my life. Painful and unprofessional. Tech was not experienced.I had a pedicure that was ok, nothing great.I wanted to try a new place but this was a mistake.

I went and got a removal of dip powder nail extensions and a full set of acrylics put on. The nail tech did not completely remove all the glue/original set I had on before applying another set. She also didnt clean up my nails or cuticles at all. She also didnt apply the acrylic all the way to my cuticle so I will have to get a fill sooner than I should. I felt it was a rushed job and overall the nails turned out ok but it was extremely unprofessional. Ive never experienced that before and Ive had my nails done for years. I wish I had a better experience because its right across from my house. Maybe another nail tech would be better. I paid $75 + tip for a disappointing service.

Really enjoyed my first visit here for a mani/pedi. Prior reviews are correct place is clean and staff is attentive. Joann did a great job. And can’t get over how much I love this color. Note: you have to make appt, no walk ins.

Great customer service and gorgeous french manicures! I have been going to Bliss since it first opened in 2016. They have been there for every need. As the CEO of a 100,000 member organization and a bikini competitor, convenience and quality is paramount to my success. They have gone over and beyond to accommodate me.Yes they also do serve wine, water coffee for added comfort. The pedicure chairs are equipped with USB connections so you can get work done while completing your services.

I just moved to the area and was looking for a place with good reviews and near my community. As soon as I walked in, I knew it was THE one. The place is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The ladies were all sweet and gentle. I had Joanna for a mani and pedi and Ill be going back again. Definitely recommend!

I love Jenny she’s the best!

Ive had several issues with this salon and only came back for Joanna. The receptionist Nu or Nguyen however you spell her name was beyond rude. I ended up telling her I wont be coming back and its because of her. She responded good we dont need you. People go where youre appreciated and welcomed. If the owner cares about her customers she will replace the receptionist that many people complain about and add more talented nail techs to her team.

This place is amazing! We all got our nails done here for my wedding and the salon was so accommodating. Not only that, but once the technician finished painting my nails, i realized I strongly disliked the color. They were kind enough to change my nail color to one I love. I highly recommend this place!

Best place I have seen so far. Very clean and great customer service. Oh did I mention that you get offered drinks? Yes you will be offered tea, coffee, lemonade. I didnt have one since I already had coffee (not that I thought I might be charged for it :)). And your tea comes with a very nice china - not plastic cup. Cindy did my nail and she was amazing. I am going back.

They took good precautions given the ongoing public health emergency. The appointment process for a gel pedicure and gel full set with extension was easy to book. I got the gel pedicure with Lynn first and that was fast and professional. The issue with Lynn started with the full set. I asked for ballerina shape nails. She didnt know what I meant so I showed her a picture- she said it was a coffin shape. Which it is not,ehich is why I reiterated Ballerina shape with an accompanying photo for reference. I then showed her a picture of what style of nail effect I wanted-this included an ombre effect for one nail on each hand. We spent about 10 minutes looking for the right natural looking color to complete the fade effect and then got started. Over an hour later I do not have ballerina shape nails, I do not have 10 nails similar in relative shape and length, I do not have smooth nails that follow a straight line off the edge of my fingertips, I do not have the ombre effect similar to the photo I referenced all, and I do not have gel extensions. I recieved acrylic, but was assured that the acrylic powder would give me the effect I requested several times. Prior to Lynn putting on a gel top coat (still not a gel nail extension btw) I asked her when she was going to complete the color fade into the next on the two nails that we had discussed, as I now have two nails that are light pink, for no reason. And, Lynn says she though I just wanted a pink nail -which couldnt have been possible because her and the front desk woman saw the photo and found the colors I wanted to match the photo. At this point she was unsure if she could fix it, but it would have been dense of me to let her continue doing whatever she felt like to my hands after she has proven she did not know how to do what was asked of her. And then this establishment had the audacity to charge me full price for a poorly executed job.I am extremely disappointed and will not be returning to this place. Ever. I will not recommend it and will deter anyone I can from having the misfortune of this experience.

On the recommendation of a friend, prior to an upscale event, I had my first manicure and pedicure. The reviews of Bliss were good, so I gave it a try. Joanna was outstanding, so much so that, though this was my first, it will not be my last. She wasnt rushed, she clearly knew what she was doing, she was very pleasant, smart, and charming, and she made the hour a life-enriching experience. Also, complimentary beverages from water to coffee to wine. Thanks Joanna!

The place looks beautiful and I had two people recommend it but they don’t help you if you don’t have appointment and I came with an hour and ten minutes before they close and said they couldn’t help me even though no one was doing anything. Sorry not coming back.

The front receptionist would not let me speak to the manager so maybe this will get the managers attention. This receptionist was more than unprofessional today. She was too busy playing on her phone, sitting in the pedicure chair getting a chair massage than working or paying attention to her surroundings.I asked my nail tech if she had someone who could do a pedicure. She said yes and started my pedicure. Then the receptionist came over and wanted me to take my wet feet out of the water and stop my pedicure because the nail tech had an appointment in 15 minutes. Are you kidding me!? Thanks the salons fault and the next person could just wait a few extra minutes. Mistakes happen, but how you handle the mistake is what matters most!As Im typing this, the receptionist is chatting with what appears to be a friend at the front. Again, she could be offering the current clients drinks (which is a staple of this place). I hope the managers get the picture and professionalism not displayed today since she would not connect me with them.

Just finished an appointment with Mendy. I LOVE my nails. I came in with ugly acrylics and she transformed my nails into sheek natural looking nails. She used dip on my nails. She was so patient and detailed to get me exactly what I wanted.

It was my 1st time here and I went in needing some serious nail repair. My nail was cracked over the skin, and the acrylic was too thick from a different salon that I had went to. The whole staff was courteous and polite. Cindy brought my nails back to life! She took her time to make sure my nails were perfect. I can tell that she really cared. Not only was this place comforting and clean, but they even have drink option like tea, lemonade, wine (white and red), coffee, and cappuccinos. I love this place and I will definitely become a regular.

I was in desperate need of a new dip powder set and found this place on a whim. Got there at 10 am when they opened and although it seems like appointments are the best way to go they had one tech open for me. She did an excellent job and I will be returning!

This is a nice, clean nail place with friendly staff. They offer drinks with your pedicure. Waxing prices were higher than most. However, the quality is high and the staff is attentive.

Disappointing. I have been here two times and had the same nail Tech. The price you pay for the work you get is really bad, the gel nail color chips easily, your nails grow out very fast and they cannot shape nails to save their lives! (I TIRED ALMOND AND SQUARE) I have been getting acrylics for over 14 years and I can say for all the fancy art on the walls the nails make you feel and look cheap. I will not be returning.

I love this place. I was going here while I was visiting my daughter from Idaho. Tammy is the absolute best. The management is however, a little bit unorganized. My daughter came with me the last time I went there, and she was going to get a pedicure and at the end the lady who was supposed to do the pedicure left anyway and went home. This happened twice. As far as nails, Tammy is amazing and did a fantastic job.

I was a first time customer ! Experience was everything! Tiffany did my nails & absolutely took her time and did a great job ! I would definitely recommend this nail shop to all my friends and family! Did i mention the inside is soooooo pretty with more than a wide variety of nail colors!

Joanna and Mendy are wonderful, and their manis/pedis are always perfect! I recently moved out of the area, but will always go back to see them when Im in town... After seeing Joanna for a few years, she genuinely feels like a friend. The owner of the salon is also very friendly.

This place has gone downhill fast: the first sns manicure I got started flaking in a couple of days, the second was so thick it looked ridiculous. The nail technician actually rinsed off the foot pillow in my dirty foot water, dried it, and put it back on her station to used for the next client (!) I meant to write this earlier, I hate writing negative reviews, but in this case I want people to know what theyre getting into.

It is wonderful!!! Place is clean and the people are nice and catering to your needs. I would go out of my way again to come to this place.

Amazing costumer service. Never had my nails perfectly done the way the did. The nail specialist luckily isnt a talkative lol. Im not so friendly. She was calm, and did a wonderful job. The place is clean. They made sure I was ok by asking if I wanted anything to drink. Isnt that great ? I strongly recommend.

BUT the last few times that Ive had my nails done by her they have started peeling within the first few days. I had a bad SNS experience at a place off Van Dorn, but decided to try it out at Bliss Nail & Lash Lounge. Im so happy I tried it out at Bliss Nail because it turned out perfect! They do not carry the actual SNS brand, but their brands (Elite Design & Beyond Couleurdip) are great and last for 3 weeks.I always get compliments on my nails and the tech who does my nails always has the cutest nails that she does on her own. The spa pedicure is super relaxing and includes a sugar scrub and hot stone massage. Go check this place out and ask for Vicki! She always makes sure that my nails look perfect. I do recommend that you call to make an appointment as they stay busy. Also, they recently started accepting cash tips only, so make sure you bring some cash.

Highly recommend!!!! Everyone was pleasant and it was very clean. They have a large selection for gel and regular nail polish which is hard to find.

Super modern cute salon and clean. They do a nice job on acrylics. Not the best at nail art and embellishments. I go here when I travel to VA and they always miss the mark on art... Rhinestones fall off or the artwork is meh, but the nails themsleves are done well and their paints are mostly all OPI or other reputable brands. I just wish they were a little more on trend with their nail art.

I visit this place everytime I need to do my nails. But the last day I was ther was 07/20/18. I ask for a mani/pedi/brow waxing. My appointment was at 3:00pm and they started doing my pedi at 3:20pm. Today is Sunday and my mani is all chipped and is complete mess. The new receptionist wasn’t even greeting the costumers, she was somewhere else and it seems to me she didn’t wanted to work. She was really rude. I’m really disappointed and I will never go again.

Best Nail Salon in Alexandria!

So evidently walk-ins are not welcome. I know this now, but since Ive never had that experience with another nail salon, it is not something I would have guessed. Also, the receptionist was SO. RUDE. Its an honest mistake, lady! You dont need to be such a snot about it!

Bliss is my go to nail salon. They have great customer service and you can enjoy a latte while you get your nails done!

Just think about where you decide to spend your money. Its difficult, though customer service should be forefront.
