I had all my windows replaced. I also replaced my front door and patio door. I couldn’t be happier. In all my years of having construction done, i have never seen a more meticulous crew then Jasons crew. Jason has an eye for detail. Eddie does great work. And Dave does a fantastic cleaning. Couldn’t be any happier. Will definitively use them again for my other 2 doors.

Brian explained the process from the beginning to end and made us feel extremely comfortable. The installation was done on schedule and the installers were friendly and did a great job. We are actually working with them on an additional five windows because of the great job and the security the new windows will offer.

They were a bit more expensive than other estimates but worth every penny. They did amazing work, put all the window shades and furniture back, and cleaned everything up when they were finished. Their product is great and have a lifetime warranty. They replaced 15 windows in our home in one day and it looks wonderful. Awesome company to do business with.

Everyone I dealt with was professional, polite and treated me like a valued customer. The Salesman, David, was thorough in explaining the product the company offers for my project. Bill coordinated the final measurements and the installation crew. I was not expecting the work to be done until early November. It was done October 21, 2020, weeks early. The installation crew, Ivan and Vito, were clean, professional and installed my six windows in a half day (replacing original windows from 1937 when the house was built). They were very careful of my outdoor plants and interior belongings. They thoroughly cleaned up and replaced the blinds hardware they had to remove to do the job. Youd be hard pressed to know they were even there. They were professional and true craftsmen. I cannot be happier with the quality of the windows or the service provided by ProEdge Remodeling by Custom Built. They are worth every penny I paid and they look so natural. I highly recommend this company and their quality windows to anyone who wants windows to truly last a lifetime, and then some.

Called three or four times about trim hanging down on bottom of window ask for them to fix it because never gotten nailed up properly they answered said somebody will call you back but never happens been over6 months sales man very good but repair sucks

They did a very awesome job. They worked really fast was so surprised got all 18 windows in one day. They did a very good job with clean up. I even had new floors put in and not a scratch. Would definitely recommend this window company. Already feels like its keeping the cool air in cant wait till see the winter time.

I had custom built in to put new windows and a new sliding door. They came when they promised, the whole process was very easy. The installers did a superb hub leaving no mess and making sure no details was overlooked. The windows themselves are a great product, easy to open and close and super clear. Overall, I would recommend them to anyone looking for windows.

Glad we replaced our old contractor grade windows with these high quality ones. So noticeable the warmth in our home now. The whole process went smoothly, from the sales team, financing, to install team. The crew that came in were professional, stayed late on a Friday night to finish and took their time to get it right. Cleaned up after and even vacuumed rooms they were in. Have upgraded the value of our home and glad we went with Custom Built after we shopped a lot of other brands.

Custom Built really cares about your needs and satisfaction. They treat you like their own family. This was my very first experience with having doors and windows installed and I wouldnt go to anyone else. From start to finish they have done an amazing job!

Lied and told us that all employees coming to replace the windows would be employees of Custom Built. Come to find out they contracted out to another business against our wishes. On top of that, we noticed that there were things missing from our home. When confronted, the owners continuously shifted the blame, gave us delayed responses ranging from 24-36 hours later, and forced us to get the police involved. Unfortunate that we have to monitor our own belongings while being in our own home.

Absolute nightmare of a company. Everything is sub contracted out which isn’t a problem but don’t tell me you don’t subcontract. Sales people lie right to your face and then never show up to the job to look at it afterwards. I have spoken with the owner who lives in a different state, absolutely clueless to what goes on in Albany. They need to revamp their Albany office personnel in my opinion. Refund checks never being received. I did my own research afterward about this company, financially not doing well. Probably the reason you get quoted a price, sign a deal, give a deposit, and then get contacted by another person who tells you they can’t make any money with the price they quoted. Train your people right. Custom Built, please consider this email as not only did your business effect me negatively, but its affected everyone else as well. Hopefully with the smaller local company I am working with now I have better luck....

The installation team arrived on time and were very courteous and professional. My house had some settlement issues which caused the installation of my patio door to be a bit more complicated. They handled this efficiently and expertly. I couldnt be happier with my new patio door and the whole installation process.

We are very pleased with the work they did at our home.The four men were polite friendly and informative. They were here at the time they specified which was 9am and were done around 2:30! Windows look great and they cleaned up around the house ! We are very satisfied!

If I could give them less than one star I would. Its been almost one year and the issue with my door lock has yet to be resolved. I cant believe I fell for their scam and horrible customer service.

Terrible job! When placing trim around windows , Got caulk all over window sashes cannot get off.Also broke pieces of trim when installing around windows on more than one window instead of replacing it filled in with caulk to hide breaks.. Real Professional.. If i had something else to replace kitchen window they installed i would tear it out and start over. Should have went with anderson .. Too bad have to give any stars.

Love the window, we have no more draft in both living room and the sounds from outside also was reduce. Dont hear must of the local traffic and I sleep better.

Salesman Jim came to our house to give us estimate on a roof replacement $ 17000 signed paperwork and gave him a $4000 dollar down payment in November 2018 Told $110 dollars a month for 120 months then in December Chris a manager said there was a prob came over with papers to sign payment is gonna be $251 dollars a month now and 14% interest instead of the 9.9% quoted said they wouldnt make money $13000 interest for a $17000 roof really. Said they would get back to me the next week never did ! A month later after threatening to turn them in and numerous phone calls and going to their business I got my money back Said I slipped through the cracks Very poor customer service and did not do what contract was signed to do

Similar to another customer review, our salesman quoted a price for our windows and a few weeks later, manager Chris came out to tell us that the pricing would be much higher. They made an error knowing that we needed a color on outside due to HOA. After several calls months later to the company, at what should be time of installation, we were told that our order was never placed. Jim, general manager, tells us they “sent a letter and return deposit, didn’t we receive it?” They tell us there was no way they’d make money on the order based on THEIR quote. Additionally, their brochure used during sales pitch says they are Better Business Bureau rated. They are NOT rated and Jim says their sales person mis-represented. This is a crooked company with slimy management practices. Stay away and save yourself the headache.

Dont use this company. We had gutter master shield installed and they are not right. We scheduled the maintenance team to come an fix them but they cancelled two times already. Communication with the company is frustrating and often incomplete. The secretary is the only contact and you never know when they are coming/not coming. I wish I never contracted with them. Lousy service. They also use subcontractor to install them and some are good/some are bad. The salesman also never delivered a contract to us.

I have been waiting now 13 and a half weeks on install of an exterior entry door after an initial estimate of 6 weeks. Today I was told its still at the factory and wont be in until after the holidays, so at least two more weeks. Every deadline has been missed, and Ive had to call for an update each time - not once have they reached out to me. The excuses given each time have been things that should have been under their control (financing paperwork, delayed ordering, incorrect paint work), and accompanied by a half hearted apology at best. More often the manager, Jim Phillips, seems put out that Im bothering him while hes with another customer. The bulk of the delays have been blamed on the factory, which is confusing to me when one of Custom Builts selling points is that they manufacture their own product and control the entire process. The attitude of I dont have the door, theres nothing I can do for you doesnt inspire confidence that they will do anything to meet the 5th delivery date that I was given today. On a previous call he offered a refund if the 12/21 date wasnt met, but there was no mention of that today. Additionally, Ive been unable to reach the (initially helpful) salesperson we signed the contract with, and the number he gave me for his manager was false or incorrect.Overall, this has been a frustrating and infuriating experience. I have not had a single encouraging interaction with the company to date, and Im expecting continued arguments in the near future.
