This is my go-to place for auto repairs! This shop is reliable and trustworthy. They really know their stuff and always do an excellent job! I stopped bringing my vehicle to them when I lived further away, and that was a mistake. I will always use Seyfer as my auto mechanic going forward. Ive spoken to several people at the shop, but I only remember Justins name, and he is great! Always upbeat and nice, very professional. I 100% recommend this business!

The brakes on my 60 Cadillac had been a train-wreck since I bought the car nearly 10 years ago, most especially the front brakes... until today. I had replaced everything I could think of - pads, drums, wheel cylinders, master booster, and finally several years ago I took it to Seyfer Automotive who suggested replacing the metal and soft brake lines, which I had them do. It was an expensive job, and Donny Seyfer told me he had done the work himself. Changing the lines didnt seem to have much impact on improving the brakes, even after the shop put in extra hours on the weekend trying to dial-in my system, also not cheap, all with no improvement. Donny put the blame finally on a possible worn front end, so I took it to Maximum Automotive in Wheat Ridge who did a great job aligning the car. Still the brakes were terrible. I had resolved that the unique 1-year front brakes on the 60 Cadillac were just flawed by design and it was always going to be that way. Over the last several months, I had researched changing out the front brakes to disk. A couple of weeks ago, I thought about the front and rear junction blocks and how they might impact braking performance. I read a couple of forums online about how when they are plugged or corroded, they can affect braking. In a last-ditch effort before spending $2500-$3000 changing over my front brakes to disk, I took the car to Merkls in Wheat Ridge, had Ricks crew pull and thoroughly clean both front and back blocks. I brought the car home and adjusted up all four brakes... and it was like magic. 100% fully functioning brakes as the factory intended, no pull, no drift, no nothing. I consider myself a novice mechanic, but I am the one who had to figure out the problem, and that is thoroughly unacceptable. I think it was highly unprofessional of Seyfer to not pull and clean both blocks when they replaced the lines, and because of it, I lost years of enjoyment with my car.

My car has more power and better MPG for camping trips after Seyfer Automotive services. Looking forward to the open road now. Excellent service and family friendly.

I love this mechanics shop. They were super nice and explained everything that was needed for my car. They did the work in a timely fashion. Cant say enough good about these folks! I was told, from another auto shop, a wheel bearing needed replaced which was a $500 fix... plus 2 new tires which was another $300. Don and his team have been in auto repair for close to half a century. Family owned business and they do things right. Had them repair window mechanism in my Subaru.. Its refreshing when the price quoted is honored and they didnt come back with a bunch of other work recommended. Honesty and integrity is the name of the game here.

Super great mechanics have had them work on my VW twice now and both times they were done the next day pricing is affordable and I feel very comfortable with the work they perform on my car I highly recommend Seyfer automotive if you have a foreign car like I do.

While I havent been here to have my personal vehicle serviced; I have had friends who have been here while I was with them and I must say that this place is wonderful. The staff is very friendly, the location is easy to get to, and the place is so well maintained that you feel like your going to a very expensive mechanic but theyre well priced and work on all sorts of specialty cars.Honestly, my favorite thing about this place is they always have gorgeous collectors cars on their property. I drive by at least every few days and theres always some show room cars out front that are just awesome to see. Its like going to a car museum while getting some work on your car done.

New to the area, I was looking for someone I could trust with knowledge and experience in dealing with older and specialty cars. I found Seyfer after a Google search and gave them a call. I spoke to the owner, Don about my car and its issues and he was very thorough and helpful. I set up an appointment and the mechanic who worked on my car, Myron was A+ and took care of all my concerns. I thought their knowledge and skills were great and their prices were competitive - if not better. I also like the fact its a family run business and has been around for over 50 years. Thats says a lot in that line of work. I will definitively be back for any future needs.

Seyfer is one of the best around for quality for sure. They are tenacious and will do it right or hunt down that tough problem and get it solved. They also take on and are great with classic cars and such which other shops do not. One star off only for the value balance as they can be pricey on certain things but...if you go by the idea that you get what you pay for then...

Theyll let your vehicle sit out in a hail storm and get damaged and then not take care of the damage. Or theyll let it broken into and all the stereo equipment stolen and then you have to beg them to replace it.

I had them work on my a/c they said it was low on freon it worked for 5 daysAnd stop they said that we put dye in when we got to Ohio dons auto a/c the took a washer out the a/c clutch it cost me $10 its worked great ever since

I took my 2012 Nissan Xterra here to get a price quote on what I believed to be an issue with the clutch. $2600 was my quote. I told them I couldnt afford to pay for that and would need to wait until I could afford it. In the meantime, they decided they couldnt wait anymore (didnt call me to warn me until AFTER the fact), and had it towed to an impound lot.As I struggled to come up with the $2600 I needed to fix my truck, now I am forced with over $450 in impound fees.I began to ask friends who they knew that could do this job for less. These guys ripped me for $100.00 and wanted more. They told me my car would start on fire if I left it as is.They didnt find the problem in an hour and a half with all their high tech equiptment.He tried to charge me $150.00 until I complained and then he said well the state of Colo says I can charge $100.00 for not repairing it so thats what well do.Terrible Business men I would never recommend these people to anyone.By the way, Its been two years of continuous driving this car and still no fire.LiarsIwas self employed for 35 years and NEVER treated my customers like that. You people who like them need to wake up.If you want a trusted good mechanic, go to 38th and harlan at Old Town Auto. At least hes honest.

I had my timming belt repaired at Seyfer automotive. Coincidentally my airconditioning stopped working when I got the car back. I thought maybe they had accidentally left something undone. I asked them to take a look at my air conditioning. They said theyd take a look at the car.I didnt expect to have a bill when I came back. If they had told me there was going to be a charge for looking at my air conditioning I wouldnt of had it looked at.I guess it was my fault for not asking, but when there is a substancial charge involved I would expect a garage to let you know before they do it. Also if something quits working while a garage has it I would think a garage would look at it for free.
