After many miles on my new transmission I can finally say absolutely nothing but positive things to say about these guys and their work! They nocked out my firepunk comp stage 1 transmission for 800hp in my 2006 dodge 2500. Dont hesitate even if you have a performance transmission like I did. They treated me like a human not a cash register. I will always be going to advance transmission from now on! Anthony is a very down to earth guy and is a dodge owner him self! Couldnt be happier!

My car was going into neutral when I was driving. I took it to 2 other mechanics who told me the transmission was shot and would cost about $3,000 to repair. Advanced Transmission diagnosed that it was not the transmission, but a valve that was faulty. They did not charge me for the diagnosis and recommended another shop to replace the valve (who charged me about $200). It is unusual to find mechanics that are so honest. I really appreciate what you did for us. Thank you.

Anthony is very knowledgeable with transmissions/gear boxes, etc. He knows his vehicles and he know whats worth repairing and what youd be better off replacing...I appreciate him being upfront with me regarding the diagnostics of my transmission issues. This place is fantastic. I recently took in my Honda Civic believing it had some transmission problems hand them look at it and by the next day, he let me know my transmission was fine. I found Advanced Transmission online and decided to go to them for a second look at my transmission after being told by a local dealership that I would have to replace my transmission at a cost between $3800 to $5400. From the first call with Anthony to the end, the interaction was very professional, honest and thorough. It turns out that I didn’t need a new transmission after all but a new seal that cost only $163. They even test drove my car after completing the work and rechecked my car for any leaks and even told me that I can come back after driving it for about 1,000 miles for them to make sure again. Of course, the diagnostic is no charge. They went above and beyond and even referred me to a nearby repair shop if I needed other work. I couldn’t be more pleased with their service. If you’re needing possible work on your transmission, definitely go here before spending a fortune on something that’s improperly diagnosed.

Anthony hands down has the best customer service from any auto shop and having an 89 Dodge van with lots of issues Ive been to 5 shops a year for 6 years across many states. He gave me an honest quote, walked me through my options, even checked other issues I had and checked my van a week before he said he could even get to it. He didnt treat me like a woman and talk down to me like most places, he was honest with me and even recommended other vans or cars if I decide not to fix my van (I also need to replace the engine which he called around and got quotes from other shops for me!) Im still deciding if I want to fix my van, but if I do I will definitely have them do it.

I took my 14 year old vehicle in one morning with a bad clutch. The estimate was quick and fair. The repair itself was also done in a very reasonable time. The final bill was was equal to the original estimate. It’s been several months since the repair and the clutch is still performing great. No surprises, no gimmicks.

After doing a little research, I decided on Advanced Transmission to take a look at what I assumed to be a transmission leak in my CR-V. I was able to drop the car off over the weekend since I was going to be out of town for a couple days. Anthony was super communicative in getting the diagnosis and letting me know the cost before proceeding. Got the leak fixed at a very affordable price. I wish they did more than transmissions as I would take my car here for all its service needs. If you need transmission work, this is the place to go. 10/10 would recommend.

Anthony was great to work with. Where other shops would (and in my case, did) try to upsell you on additional services, here you will get a precise analysis communicated to you of what’s what on your transmission. In short these guys are real pros and know exactly what they’re looking at.One other very noteworthy experience I’d like to add is that we had Advanced Transmission look a second vehicle for us - that the only reason they couldn’t work on is because the manufacturer used a proprietary computer system unavailable to anyone but dealerships - well anyhow, not only was Anthony beyond informative and transparent about this, but they even did a thorough manual operation of the transmission and told us that all the mechanical parts of the transmission were in good shape and proper function; the control module only available for repair from the dealer was the culprit. We were not charged a penny for this! I can’t emphasize the level of reassurance as a customer after they had clarified the synopsis in this way, and the scary notion of having to replace/rebuild the entire transmission being taken off the table for us. You can’t find service like this anywhere these days.

Scott and his crew replaced the transmission in our 2006 Honda Odyssey in January and we couldnt be happier. Because of the age of our van, we didnt know if it was worth it because a transmission is a relatively expensive fix. But we knew we wouldnt get much money for it if we sold it as is, so we took a leap of faith. We are so glad we did! The work was done faster than estimated and actually cost less than the original quote! They also stand by their work. Shortly after the work was done, we had one minor issue with rough shifting. After reading all the great reviews online I gave them a called and spoke with Scott about the issues my car was having and he arranged to have my car towed to the shop. They were helpful and informative when explaining what they found and the cost to fix it. Fortunately for me this part is still under warranty but unfortunately I am not able to have the work done at Advanced Transmission. I brought my 2007 Infiniti G35x in to the Wheat Ridge location to have my transmission checked before leaving for a long road trip. I chose Advanced Transmission Center because of their specialization and their test equipment. I was glad to hear there were no issues. When I picked it up I was given a full explanation of what was tested and double-checked and there was no charge. I really appreciate their professionalism, honesty, and expertise.

My 2004 Jeep Libertys automatic transmission was getting stuck in 2nd gear when it heated up. The check engine light also came on. I took it to my mechanic and had a diagnosis done it revealed it was definitely a transmission problem and the recommended Advanced Transmission Center. When I brought it in to the center my Jeeps transmission was given a very extensive diagnostic test using there advanced equipment. The result was explained very expertly and thoroughly. I made the decision to let them rebuild the transmission based on there professionalism. The work was done in a fast convenient manner and they explained what was actually had done in the rebuilding process. Im so very satisfied with Advanced Transmission Center.

Scott was awesome. Before even bringing my 2006 Jeep in to them, he let me know that it was highly doubtful a Jeep with my mileage of 135,000 would need a brand new transmission. Within a half a day. They were able to determine that it was a manufacturer issue of wiring being installed with no heat shield. Saved me thousands of dollars or going to get a new vehicle. Scott was courteous and new that the quotes and diagnosis I was getting from the other shop was bogus even over the phone. Save yourself time and money and take your vehicle to Advanced Transmission if you have transmission problems. Only cost me $240 to fix the issue.

Found these guys through AAA and they are excellent! They worked with my husband on our 14 Legacy and while they werent able to fix our problem (thanks Subaru), they were incredibly empathetic and did great work diagnosing the problem. Should we have any issues in the futures with our other cars, well be back.

My wifes BMW X5 started shifting hard after I tried to do some preventative maintenance. I brought it to Advanced Transmission Center and Scott really took care of me. They diagnosed and repaired the car in less than 6 hours and it was good as new. The cost was very reasonable and less than a Friday night bar tab.What did I learn? Im not a transmission technician and I should have just brought the car to these guys in the first place.

Scott was a pleasure to work with. I took in my 05 Wrangler because I was having issues with 2nd and 4th gear. My regular mechanic stated I would most likely need to have my transmission rebuilt. I haven’t been to the shop yet, I’ve got an appointment for Thursday morning BUT based on my experience so far, I’m looking forward to having these guys check out my daughters car!!Background: my daughter just started driving and she’s a little rough on her 2004 V6 Honda Accord. It has about 165k miles on it. Over the weekend my daughter was driving on I70 and her car started shaking really bad, she had to pull over. Her best friends dad is a mechanic and came to check it out. He ended up driving the car to his shop to put it on the lift. He did a detailed inspection but couldn’t find anything wrong with the parts, so he took it on a drive, come to find out her car wasn’t shifting out of 2nd gear, so he thought it could be the transmission and since he doesn’t work on transmissions he referred me to a shop in Arvada, I called them and was told there would be a diagnostic fee and then $6-$8k to fix it. Since I only paid $3k for the car, I was shocked! I had decided it was best to probably sell the car for parts, but then I decided to do one more google search and that’s where I found this place... I spoke with Scott and just asked him for their prices and he said “Well tell me what’s going on first” so I tell him and then he says “I would like to inspect the car first, because there’s a chance it’s not even the transmission and we will take a look at it for FREE” WHAT!?!?! Based on all my research earlier in the day, that’s unheard of! So I scheduled an appointment... then I decided to take a look at the reviews and again I was SHOCKED! For a mechanic to have basically a perfect rating is also rare!So long story, longer ;) I’m looking forward to my appointment on Thursday and am at least hopeful that we will come up with a solution that won’t cost me THOUSANDS of dollars!!

I have a 1966 Corvette Coupe with a 4-speed that needed some transmission work performed. Im very particular about who services this car, as you might imagine. I saw the great reviews for the Wheat Ridge location and took the car down to basically interview the shop and make sure that they were the right guys for the job. I met with Scott, and it was pretty clear to me that he and the team there had the right experience and mindset to do the work. The Advanced Transmission Center crew were very careful with the Corvette, and did extremely high quality work on a challenging project. Scott kept me posted on status, even going as far as to text me pictures of what they were finding. I think the prices were very fair and, for the quality of work, it was probably a bargain. For classic car owners, this is a shop where youll find a team that will take great care of your vehicle. I really cant recommend them highly enough. I wouldnt hesitate to use them again for any car, new or old.

I cant thank Scott enough! After some shifting problems I took my truck to the Ford dealership. They quoted me $5,000 minimum to rebuild my transmission and transfer case. I took to another shop and they quoted me even more. As as last ditch effort I called Scott at Advanced Transmission Center. Scott coordinated towing my truck (it was messed up from the other shops) and called me a few hours later after running several diagnostics on my truck. Long story short he fixed my truck for $1,400 as the problem was limited to my transfer case - nothing was wrong with my transmission!! These guys saved me at least $4,000! Very fast service and super honest! Thank you!!

This shop is amazing and Scott is super friendly/helpful! I have been meaning to write this review since my first visit but have been busy enjoying the fact my vehicle is finally safe to drive and reliable. After getting the run around at 3 other shops, the technicians here were able to diagnose and repair the issues with my vehicle in less time and for about 1/3 of the price. Other shops told me I needed a new transmission, or there was nothing wrong, or that I needed to replace my entire exhaust system. None of those being the actual issue, I only needed my transmission pan resealed and new u-joints for my drive shaft. I will definitely use this shop again for future repairs and highly recommend them!

I wanted to have the Powerglide transmission for my 53 Chevy completely gone thru for a project I am building . After calling several shops , I had the pleasure of speaking with Scott @ Advance Transmission . His expertise and attention to detail were greatly appreciated as was the time he spent locating some of the hard to find components , Brian , as a Master Transmission Technician , and well experienced with these older units , did a beautiful job with the overhaul .I personally made a mistake when I installed the unit back into the vehicle which caused damage to my pump drive gears ,etc.Scott had me bring it right back in. He then searched high and low to find me replacement hard parts that I damaged . He found them, They fixed it for me again . I expected a big bill when I went to pick it up and was very surprised to see that Scott went out of his way to help out even though the damage was my fault . I am not one to write reviews , but want to say to Scott and Brian . Thank you both for going above and beyond. Great Job !

I have an early 2000 manual 4x4 dodge pickup and it runs better than it has in a long time and even gets better gas mileage since I went to Advanced Transmission for repairs. In the winter it is important to have your four wheel drive working to get around and be safe. When your drive line or four wheel drive need to be fixed it can be a very timely, expensive, and negative experience. For the first time in the last 10 years I have finally found a place to service my 4x 4 and or drive line by treating me right by giving me a fair and reasonable quote with parts and labor that were very accurate compared to all the other transmission repair shops in the West Metropolitan area of Denver. Brought my vehicle in for a transmission issue was told to be there at 8 am I was... then I would get a call around noon to tell me what they found not only did I not get a call they did nothing parked it by the shop and it sat for 7 hours I called got some BS about they were gonna get to it ...so I went and just got it day wasted thanks to Scott the manager with zero people skills dont waste youre time with this place because they will waste yours

My car broke down on Wadsworth and 44th. My cousin Roger helped me move it to a parking lot and we were thinking how we could tow it to Federal to a shop he knew. Scott was very professional and was insured I got the best parts and deal to be had on my problem. Recently blew out the differential on my Dodge 2500 (280K miles, yikes)...had to replace the whole case due to the level of damage it experienced. He took the time and effort to find a new part (24 year old part) that was in the best condition possible and had it shipped in. Within days of the arrival his team had it installed and ready to go. He was quick to return every call and was upfront on the pricing and possible additional cost that may be incurred (fortunately none were encountered and the original quote was all we needed to expend). He then follow up with a wellness call a week later to confirm that we were having no problems and asked us to come back in several weeks so they could confirm everything was still fine. Good Communication, Quality Work, highly recommend this shop and team, zero buyers remorse.

I took my company truck in for them to diagnose some of the issues I’ve been noticing. These guys were all very helpful and kind. Unfortunately we were unable to come to a conclusion for what exactly the issue was with the truck, they were able to help give me ideas on what it might be and point me in the right direction. Great experience overall.

I was rebuilding a four speed transmission and needed help pressing a part off twice during the rebuild. Scott gladly took care of it. It is nice to know that no matter the size of the job you can count on Advanced Transmission to help you get the job done.

Called and talked to Scott they got my van in the next day ,did a free inspection told me that there was not anything major wrong with my transmission. They didnt try to sell me anything or have me come in for stuff I didnt need. Very friendly and fast.

They are really great here, they will save you money because they specialize in transmissions and therefore are better geared to solving those problems.They also do a great job. My clutch was much heavier and constantly slipping before coming to get it serviced, now I am all set to go and my car drives much better. The Brakes Plus on S. Kipling near Bowers that I use for our cars, an Audi Q3 and 03 Corvette (also 5 star!) recommended this shop very highly for a leak in my trans. What a great experience. Got me in the next day, super friendly good guys and told me theyd give it a look. Im a mechanical guy and do a lot of my own work but, not trans and honestly, a trans shop could tell me anything was wrong and Id probably just pay the price to fix it.Scott the owner took care of me. I got a call theyd found a leak, needed a new gasket, nothing more. Suggested a flush and fill it with synthetic, ok do it. I didnt ask the price.The car was ready later that day, about $260.00 for the whole service and Id have paid more without any issue at all. Honest shop.They are already highly recommended here and Im just adding my 5 star vote for a great honest place to do business with.

My issue didnt end up being transmission related but Advanced gave honest feedback on what they believed the problem to be. Would bring my cars back in the future!

I was looking for a transmission flush for my 2012 Honda CRV, looked online to see what my best option was, and so glad I went with Advanced Transmission Center! Here is an old school business that understands what service is. I called and talked to Scott, who was downright friendly. I had my crusty Nissan looked at here because I had no idea why my car wouldnt move. They towed it, looked at it, and discovered I had somehow knocked the 4wd in or out of gear. No repair needed, and when I picked it up, Ron showed me how to use the 4wd , for if and when I need it. Had it needed repair, and if Id chosen to have them repair it, the tow would have been free. I looked like a pitiful little old lady, and these guys were as cordial and helpful as they could be. And they were honest. Ill send anyone and everyone here for transmission issues. 5 big shiny stars.

I got my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokees transmission rebuilt here. The whole team here took very good care of my car and was transparent with costs and what they did to my car. They explained everything in a way that was easier to understand. They were so reasonable and nice to work with and got my car done as soon as possible because I was on a time crunch. They had my best interest in mind, while also making sure my car is working properly.

I recently popped into the shop with a potential transmission issue. They were kind enough to take an immediate look at my car and confirmed it was the transmission going out. While booking the appointment, Scott determined my car had an little-known extended warranty on my transmission and sent me to the dealer for the free repair. I cant speak to their repair abilities, but can attest to their honesty!

Wont ever use another transmission shop in Denver again. Will highly recommend this shop to anyone and everyone. My vehicle began slipping, and as per usual, I took to the internet to find a quality shop. Man, am I not disappointed. No wonder this local (and actually local) business has been around for decades.The manager, Scott, couldnt have been more helpful and honest with me. They called me that day, and told me exactly what I could be looking at. I asked the highest estimated cost for the work that (may) need to be done, and they gave me an honest and fair answer.I told them I would need some time to make up my mind, and come to a decision. At this point, the total work couldve cost more than the vehicle itself. Heartbreaking, but they gave me the honest truth.I went to the shop the next day to pick up my vehicle, and had a genuine conversation with Scott. Its nice when you have real people, that actually give a damn about the work they perform. After my conversation, I walked my happy self to my car, and drove it the last 20 miles that puppy may ever see. I drove the slipping transmission happily, knowing that the information and discussion I had, left me feeling good about the decision I was making. Scott told me he personally believed I was making the right choice. They did all of this for free. No cost for the diagnosis. No cost for the time. Nothing.And there ya have it folks. This shop couldve easily made their money on me (even for the diagnosis). They couldve tried to take advantage of another customer looking to save their poor vehicle. They couldve done a lot of things, although... they were honest, informative, understanding, and treat you like a human... not another piece of profit walking in the door.Give them a shot. Id bet my money (that these kind souls saved me) to say that you wont be disappointed. 10/10 will recommend and use if ever needed again.

Took my car in to a diagnostic check free of charged. Appreciated that they genuinely looked at the car and gave me recommendations even though none of the recommendations were going to be done by them. Would take my car back here anytime I had an issue.

First let me start by saying, They do not do cheap work. They do quality work for a fair price and theyre damn good if you know what I mean. Scott and the crew are top notch at what they do.I was traveling from IL to NV when my trans went out. They got me in when there wasnt an in, found every possible way to save me a dollar and tweaked things on my car that wasnt transmission related just to ensure I would be alright the rest of the journey.I cant say enough about them. As far as Im concerned theyre family. This post/review is the least I can do to show my appreciation for their hard work and dedication.....that is until they show up in Vegas 😎Dont waste your time going anywhere else. Scott was fantastic to work with, and Advanced Transmission is now my go-to mechanic shop! They saved me so much money and did a great job. As a young female getting maintenance done on my car, Im always a bit hesitant with whatever shop I go to. Im afraid I will get taken advantage of due to my lack of knowledge. This is definitely not the case here. Scott is completely honest with you and genuinely wants to help out. If I could give Advanced Transmission a 6 star rating, I would!

I have to agree with other reviewers in giving this place 5 stars too. I needed a clutch replacement for my Mazda 3 with manual transmission, and unlike other businesses, they were honest and fair in their pricing with exceptional customer service. Special shout out to Tom and Scott. Super happy to have found them.

Scott and the crew are terrific! We had to have a transmission replaced and then came back to them when a new vehicle was needed and they offered to lift it up and check it out! They certainly didnt need to do that.It was very thoroughly checked out while walking us through it. We felt so great in knowing that we werent purchasing a lemon. I want to commend Advanced Transmission Center in Wheat Ridge for a fantastic job and most especially Scott, who helped me accomplish the needed work for me over the phone, 900 miles away from Colorado!  I have an older friend in her 70s whose car would only drive in 2nd gear.  Several people had looked at it and told her it was the transmission and that the repair would be expensive.  Not having the means but being in great need of transportation, we decided to help our friend and knew AAA as a reliable agency:  how else could I choose a repair shot being so far away?  I was extremely impressed with the shops website and later discovered the shop is the only transmission shop endorsed by AAA in the entire state.  I phoned and Scott answered.  He was extremely knowledgeable and above all, caring.  He understood my predicament entirely which put me at ease.  I told him my budget and he was able to work with it, even finding a way to give me a discount to keep things within my budget.  He communicated with me every step of the way and arranged towing.  Id never even seen the car before.  He assured me it had been well-kept and the next day, was able to diagnose the problem.  The diagnostic evaluation was free!  His estimated time for repair proved to be correct.  He even found an additional axel problem he was able to repair, important since my friend has few funds but needs a sound car. Payment was easily accomplished over the phone and I called my friend who was able to arrange for a ride to pick it up.  Having been more than a year without a car, she was grateful beyond words and I am grateful for Scotts help, coordinated long distance, and the quality work Advanced Transmission Center did, which their 24K mile warranty attests to.   Thank you, Scott and thank you, Advanced Transmission Center!
