My wife and I recently hired Tailored Restoration of wasilla to restore our home after a fire. Josh Ickes, Gary Scan, Neesha Norman, and the rest of their staff were always friendly, courteous and more than accommodating. Their finished product is our home in better than new condition and we are so glad that we hired Taylored Restoration for they are simply the best at what they do! Sincerely, Paul Chalifour.

We have needed to use Taylored three times in the last 10 year. The most recent was a few months ago. They are VERY responsive and keep you well informed as mitigation progresses. They were invaluable in quickly getting us back to normal! We were in the independent insurance industry and saw many claims and how they were handled. This is why we called them the first time when a pipe broke and water ran all night in a two story building. We needed to get repaired and keep our business operating.Taylored is the BEST decision for us!!!

I am writing as a former performance management expert for the federal government’s PNW Region and as a homeowner whose basement flooded. My son-in-law arrived upstairs at 4:00 am with news the basement was standing in water. He called a workplace friend for a contact. Taylored Restoration was recommended. Thus, began the solution to the flood.I’m accustomed to seeing performance from sub-standard to extraordinary. It was my delight to find that the performance of this company exceeded any rational expectation for restoration following a flood. From the drying of the lower level floor to the return to normal, Taylored Restoration’s service was extraordinary.First, I’d like to mention Brian Hornsby. He was dealing with an old woman who knew nothing about what would take place. He made the process clear to me without ever treating me as an old woman. Downstairs, my son-in-law has a fish tank that weighs 1500 pounds when filled. He has big fish in it. The floor was tile, but tile had to be removed, and we put a floating floor down there to replace it. It did not seem wise to put a huge tank on a floating floor in earthquake country. Brian Hornsby solved that issue by suggesting the tile where the fish tank stands be left as the fish tank floor and an edging surround it so it looks as if it were in the initial design. It is fantastic!Second, there are some others I’d like to mention. Orion Coley and Jake Reagan had the non-enviable job to box up the belongings of my son-in-law and daughter, place the boxed items and unruined furniture in the GoMini outside, remove the tile floor and grout, cut drywall, and clean up the downstairs area. In the removal of furniture and boxes, Orion and Jake were assisted by Zinaida (Zina) Tereshchenko. These people were pleasant, but each was fixated on getting their job done. It was done quickly, and cleaning was awesome. Where you might expect young people to chit chat while working, there was some but little as each performed their own functions.Terry Warden put up drywall, mudded it, and painted. He was as focused as the others. He worked quickly and well. Having done some of the painting when my house was built, I know how easy it is to get stray painting marks. None! It looked better than before the flood.Brandon Campbell did the flooring, put up the vanity, created the masterpiece around the fish tank, and added the trim and baseboards. I was accustomed to the amazing efficiency and effectiveness of the work done by Taylored Restoration by now, but I was unprepared for the incredible speed of Brandon’s work and the perfection of the flooring. His work on the base for the fish tank is more than we could have hoped for, a real focal point!Last but not least, I want to mention Neesha Norman, who kept the administrative aspects comprehensible and moving. Her ability to deal with me, one totally ignorant of insurance terminology on claims processing, was memorable. She simplified the complex concisely and clearly.Having built my house here, I’ve dealt with contractors and I understand management and performance management. In Alaska you find contractors that range from one end of the performance spectrum to the other. Taylored Restoration ranks among the top of any performance management I’ve ever had the opportunity to observe. Oddly, that may sound exaggerated, but it may seem even more so when I admit, when it comes to exceptional performance I’m hard to impress, really hard. This experience, which had all the hallmarks of being a real bear, was not only pleasant, but the work done was exceptional, and the place looks better today than before the flood. Taylored Restoration usually deals with bigger projects than this one, but as small as mine was, it was treated by all the people who came here as topmost in their minds. I’ve never seen any organization where all involved were exceptional, but Taylored Restoration is one. If you need structural restoration, I highly recommend them.

We had a water leak during the night. The next morning I called Taylored restoration. They were able to come that afternoon and assess the damage. The next morning they brought the fans and tools to remove flooring and sheet rock. They checked on it daily. They were prompt and professional. They also texted when they were coming which was nice. They came and took measurements and dealt with the insurance company. I highly recommend them!

I was headed out the door to work one morning and heard water dripping. I walked back into the kitchen and discovered water pouring down a light fixture in our kitchen ceiling. Taylored was at my house within a couple of hours, helped identify the source of the problem and immediately started drying things out. They were professional and reliable throughout the entire restoration process, and wrapped the project up quicker than we expected. The areas they restored look fantastic. No one would ever know there was damage, and we know they restored the problem areas from the inside out. Cant recommend Taylored Restoration enough!

Terrible experience. They wont give us a receipt and they left with work still to be done. There were also mad when they found out they weren’t gonna get all the copper pipe in the house. That copper pipe isn’t for you to recycle and keep the money. Screw this company, don’t EVER hire them.
