They charged me $83 and said I drove 49 miles when my destinations where only 10’mins apart and I drove back in forth 4x this crazy!

Kyle Butz was awesome! I had such a stressful morning! He got us a truck and storage unit fast and was super nice and funny! I asked him if he’s unload all of our stuff for us he told me “we’re called U-Haul for a reason” I said dang that’s a good one! Kyle has jokes!

We reserve a a truck in one month in advance we got a call two days before saying our truck had been rented out they found us another one 40 minutes away we got to call the day of the move stating that they rented that one out also they tracked us down another one which was over an hour away which is putting us behind schedule then we got to the storage U-Haul storage unit and they already rented that out and we called him that morning to make sure they had it so they found us another one weoff loadedd all of our stuff then we were approached and they told us that they had already rented that one out so we had to offload our stuff back into the truck and now its been sitting there for a couple days in their parking lot terrible service

Bad experience with u haul at 50 west alexis

Have went here for trucks and recently a van for a quick pickup and delivery. Can honestly say I’ve never had really a bad experience they do have a new manager seams real pleasant.

As we all know moving is very stressful. Dealing with uhaul was the easy part. Every phone call was very helpful and friendly. now a BIG thank you to Echo Hodgdne..she is the best of the best at what she dose. She delivered our uboxs at the time she said she would. Told me to call her anytime if I have a question or wanted to change pick up day. You cant go wrong if you use uhail

Tim is genuinely one of the greatest men alive. Even with vehicle issues on our end they had a hard working team together and got us on our way. I cant express enough how much I appreciate the work Alesky and Willie did for us either. Thanks so much for your service guys!

I called 4 locations before finding this one to install a hitch last minute. These guys helped me out BIG time. They did not have the hitch there but I grabbed it from the Reynolds location. I brought it over, they did a great job installing it. They really hooked my friend and I up with a great deal. Then he spent the time to help us find an auto transport. He answered all our questions, and the installer and his other associate were just as friendly. You couldnt ask for better customer service.

We were sent to the Alexis road location for a pickup truck. We were running behind and did not notice we did not get the ball for the hitch we requested with the rental. I called and spoke to Alex (asst. manager) and he stated it was not his problem. He said to stop at any U-Haul and they could give us a ball, but we quickly found out that was not true. I called a U-Haul by where we were and they stated they could not do that because the ball belonged to that store. I told Alex we would need to go almost 104 miles round trip out of our way to get the ball and I asked for some kind of compensation, but I was told I would have to talk to Heather at the Monroe location because she was doing the billing. Heather tried to help, but she was not billing for the truck because the truck came from the Alexis location. I called twice for Tim (general manager) and never received a call back. When the truck was returned Tim stated he would not offer a discount because they would not have had a ball to give us. But, I thought if we had known, we could have stopped back at the Monroe location to get one. Alex stated they had them available, so Im not sure who I should believe. We got the run around from this location and I believe we were lied to more than once. When I called I felt as if I was bothering them and our business was not appreciated. We will never under any circumstances use this location again. Honestly, I am not sure how Tim and Alex obtained their positions because they are definitely not customer oriented or friendly. We found them to be cocky and rude.

I am very disappointed in the lack of professionalism from their manager . I have been trying to get in touch with someone from this location for over 2 weeks now. I was over charged on account of an error in their services and am getting the run around for my calls to be returned or even answered . I literally use uhaul about once a year and from here on out am strongly considering going a differnt route. The only thing holding me back is how great and timely my service from other locations was . Really hope you can figure it out and make sure your customers are all satisfied and not being treated improperly .

I’ve had nothing but problems there! Ive taken my car in to have my hitch wiring fixed twice now because it keeps blowing fuses. The second time they didn’t even put my tail light in right. They forgot to put the nuts back on to hold the tail light on so the tail light fell out!!! Then when you call them to won’t return your phone calls and I’ve called 3 times and still no call back! I work in the customer service field and this place sure does fail!

Will never use UHaul Hitch Center on Alexis Rd. My parents got me a hitch for my jeep for Christmas. They paid for this back before Christmas. UHaul were supposed to call me and set up a time to set it up. I gave them some leeway since it was the holidays but Thursday I told my dad that nobody called me. He went in after work and I guess they argued with him for a while saying that they already put it on my car. Then they finally admitted that they didnt but the reason they didnt call me is because they wrote my number down wrong. But then my dad was like then why didnt you call his number. Anyhow that is when he set up an appt for me today at 9:00 but was told to be there at 8:45. They said it would only take 30 minutes. At 9:45 I asked how much longer and he said at least another 30 mins. I specifically asked if something was wrong and he said no and shrugged his shoulders when I asked why then is it taking so long. My mom happened to call me at 1030 and I said I was still here so my dad got involved and they admitted that the hitch was bent so they were working to straighten it. So basically they were going to put a damaged part on my car. My dad was on the phone with customer service and finally said to get the hitch off. Finally left at 11:30.

My experience from today was nothing like the reviews that were already posted. i dealt with josh. he was polite and informed. no brass band, but he did the job that was expected and with a smile. sorry about the other issues people had, but my experience was just fine. ill go back. michelle g

180 hitch ended up being 250 because untold expenses. 350 if i wanted installed. Staff seemed more interested in baseball game.

We needed to store our belongs while we waited to close on our house for a few months. We decided to use uhaul because we could rent our moving truck and a storage unit through them. The issues started when we tried to close out of our storage unit. We moved our belongings several days before the next months payment was due and when I returned the moving truck I told the employee we were finished with the unit and asked how we should go about closing out and he told me he would do it for me then. I asked my boyfriend to follow up with them because I didnt receive anything stating we closed out. The woman he spoke with on the phone said someone else handles storage and she will give them the message. A month later, we continue to receive lien notices and threats to sell our belongings. Weve contacted uhaul via phone call and going into the store on over 10 occasions. Im not sure what else to do any longer but this has certainly turned into more of a headache than it was worth.

Giving two stars because I got a quote of the product and labor, called them back to make the installation appointment. I was told to come in now and get it done. So I did and the manager said we couldnt do it today - then proceeded to make an appointment for me. Andddd new quote shows I have to pay $40 more than the initial quote because they dont have the specific hitch in stock. *ahem* just lost my business with them - too bad.

JOKE! POORLY TRAINED PEOPLE AT THIS LOCATION! A woman named Sharon or Susan (dont remember but had an old whiskey shooter voice) actually hung up on my husband while explaining to her that our rental truck broke down. Then after our move was set back 2 hours because of their junk trucks, a clown at the counter tried getting loud when we said their trucks need better maintenanced.Then he had the nerve to say you still got moved in right? UNPROFESSIONAL. Customer is ALWAYS right. Bunch of clowns work here. DO NOT give this place your business...

I wish there was a selection less then poor-fair on this review. The guy in charge treated my Wife like crap on the phone. He was too busy to find out why the web page kept telling us our 24hr rental was for only 6hrs. So I went to the facility on Alexis only to see an empty store and our Hero behind the counter apparently playing games on the computer. He knew who we were and immediately started the bullshit salesman double talk about prices staying low for 20 plus years, blah blah blah. I told him, Look, I just want a truck for 24hrs. He says, you got it! but I cant let you have the truck until 2:00 P.M. WHAT?!?! I might be renting that in the morning to someone who has a quick move. I was done at that point. We went to Penske rental on Jackman. The nice lady there said we could have the 16 truck at 9:00 A.M. and the price was LESS then Uhaul. Uhaul corporate office sent us a free rental certificate via email....deleted.

I was in this store today and witnessed an employee curse and use racial slurs against a customer. The manager stood silent.When the same employee pulled the my rental truck around, he referred to the customer as that c*cksucker.Unbelievable.

Fast friendly and great customer service.

Had to help a friend get something stored on the 2nd floor. All the have is a stairs no ramp which makes it difficult to move heavy items. You cant use a Dolly.

Called to make sure they had a tow dolly. Guy over the phone said they had two. I show up they tell me both have been pre reserved.
