Edit: response to owner:I do know that in order to be hygienic with dip powder, that youre supposed to use a small container for each customer and dispose of the remaining powder. A number of infections have resulted from salons sharing a bigger community powder jar, in order to save money, such as what your salon is doing. Perhaps you dont know, but I doubt thats the case.Dont tell me I dont know.I did give you a great review otherwise but Im not clueless. Just stating my observation.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~They did a great job on my dip nails, my daughters acrylic and shellac nails and shellac pedicure.They were friendly and accommodated us on the same day.The salon is nice, big, and clean.Im deducting a star because they used a community powder container for dip. This salon does very good work but I don’t like how they charge for using your debit card. Most people pay with debit/credit and shouldn’t be punish for it.

This is the BEST set of Gel/Shellac nails and Pedicure I have ever had! Alena is the BEST BEST BEST♥️ The place is HUGE, they take walk ins, hardly ever a wait. Everyone I’ve gone to is great, but Alena is the BEST EVER. 100’s of colors to choose from. My husband’s business as an account with the mail salon that I went to for years. Instead of paying the bill they owe him, we would just trade off and we both would get pedicures and my nails done….it costs me NOTHING to go there, yet I choose to go to Kozy Nails to see Alena. Got a pedicure here and Sky did a great job. I am very picky about nails being cut straight and polish on the tips of nails and she actually did both. I will be back for sure. Think I found my go to place..Finally!

Everytime I come here, I dont have a pleasant experience. Their customer service needs work, they pick and choose who they want to be courteous to. Also, I know that I was being talked about in front of my face and I didnt appreciate that as a paying customer. You want my business but dont want to deal with me 🤷🏽‍♀️. Respect goes both ways.

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!!! HIGH PRICES!!! HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!!Be prepared to wait, even if you have an appointment!! YES, that is right, even if you have an appointment!! Making an appointment there means absolutely nothing!! This has happened NUMEROUS times for me, but NEVER a again, there are way too many nail salons available to be disrespected!One time I had an appointment at 1:00pm for a mani-pedi and I did not get out of there until 4:25pm…WHO HAS THAT KIND OF TIME TO WASTE?recently, I had an appointment at 11:30am, fill out the form, taken To the pedicure chair to sit and wait. At 12:00, I asked what is going on, I had an appointment at 11:30?Owner told me, “…some people with appointments wait 30 minutes to 1 hour before getting service” I replied that is not right! Would you wait 1 hour for a doctor appointment? That is just poor management, you have to have people ready to take care of the customer when they arrive for their appointment. Owners reply, “…that’s he way it is here, you don’t like it, go find another nail salon.”SO I DID AND WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN!!!

Never had a bad experience before but this was the absolute worst. Lady couldn’t do the design I wanted. Got an attitude when I didn’t like what she did. Then wanted to rush me out. Colors flat, sloppy, not what I wanted. From now on I won’t be trying any new ppl just because they want everyone busy. “She’s really good and experienced “, the lies he told. I always tip good but not when I’m unsatisfied. Instead of the owner apologizing for the inexperience she tries to imply I was difficult. She just couldn’t do what I wanted…period (marble) and she just should’ve said that. Thanks for the reply… I won’t be returning!

I walked in on Saturday afternoon had a wait of probably 15 mins, but I was given exactly what I asked for! These were my nails for my wedding and I couldnt love them more. 💕 The woman who did them (I believe they called her Lisa) took a very long time with me and was meticulous at giving me what I asked for! She helped pick the sparkly color.I included the photo I showed her vs. what I got. I couldnt be more thrilled - due to the time she spent with me I tipped WAY more than 20% and would gladly do so again!!!

Scheduling an appointment is pointless, they are never ready at your scheduled time. I have spent up to 30 mins waiting on a tech to be available, with an appointment.. several times. Other than being unorganized, they do provide quality work. But, they do charge for every little detail. Only go here for pedicures at this point because the one nail tech that did good acrylic work has left.

They opened all new nail supplies which is a must, and they were very good with me not being able to understand accents very well 😬 I got a gel mani pedi for 80 when I was told it would be 60 but the person on the phone personably didn’t hear that I wanted gel. The pedicure was great. I was very disappointed to see that this place isnt insuring 6ft distancing. With MI having the highest CoVid in the nation this should be followed. The drying area is more like one or two feet with no plastic shield up between clients. Not sure I will be back. Just be warned

Basic manicure+ pedicure combo is $53, but they charged me $5 more for just making my natural nails shorter (my nails are almond shaped but they called it specialty shape and charged me more for that), then $3 charge for paying with debit card. So overall $61for basic mani/pedi, not to mention that all my nails were filed uneven and look like some are almond shaped some are oval and some simply crooked:/ will not go back

I went to this place yesterday for a pedicure and mani dip. Apparently, she got offended because i wiped down the countertop after someone just left. The manicure dip wasnt did properly. I brought it up to the lady and she was so nonchalant about and was trying to make me feel like i didnt know what i was talking about when i have gotten this done several times! I came home and realized that one of my fingers polish was clean off..anyways i called the place and all i got was a voicemail. These ppl will not get anymore of my money! Dont be deceived! Pay attention folks!

After going to the same salon and nail technician for 13 years for acrylic nails, unfortunately my girl decided to close her salon. After looking for another nearby place to go to regularly near my residence, I found Kozy Nails. I only went to Lina, and had got a full set of acrylic nails, she was great! My mails themselves looked neat and fantastic. So I returned 5 other times for fills only with Lina. Each time my skin on my fingers were bright red, itchy and burning to the extent of keeping me up at night. I returned thinking maybe I had to get used to their products since Id never had a problem with acrylic in my life. The last straw kept me up for days, itching, bleeding, raw skin on every finger. Skin peeling off beneath the tips of my fingers. I went in to show the owner. He stated they never had this problem. Of course. After I shared that not only had I been getting acrylic nails for well beyond 13 years, and had been a certified nail technician myself...he offered to soak my nails off once my skin healed at no charge. Today I returned to take advantage of that and I was told they dont do that and that he was out of the country!!! The staff was rude, and tried to continue to tell me that I may have this issue due to the acrylic. I find this highly unlikely since Ive never had an issue. I paid to have my nails removed today because I was not going to argue. I will however be reporting the problem to the state board of cosmetology and Licensing agency. I will be providing details as stated above along with requesting the powder be tested that they use and providing pictures of my skin/hands/nails. I did not see any hand washing, sterilization of equipment or proper wiping down of stations during my visits. The overall appearance is neat, but please take a deeper look when you are there.UPDATE: Ive been DIAGNOSED WITH A SEVERE FUNGAL INFECTION FROM THE APPLICATION AND PRACTICES AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. All 10 of my fingers are bleeding, in pain and down right awful looking. Im on intense anti fungal therapy internally as well as topically!!!Lucy, to your reply. All you have to do is zoom in on my natural nail to see green/yellow (hence, awful looking). Of course you wont see that through the acrylic nail pics. Of course I washed my hands. I tried to talk with Viet who continues to say I had acrylic allergy etc..now its I didnt wash my hands?! Thats funny. Im not worried about $15 at this point. Now that Im out days from work, dr visit and medication. Not to mention I have a dermatology visit this week because parts of my nails are missing from this. Unbelievable you wouldnt take this seriously and try to deflect.

The new young man that did my pedicure was gentle, kind to me and did a great job.

They were amazing! They took their time to make sure everything was some and even on my acrylic set! So pretty! I asked for a daisy and she did so well and added some details!

I love Sky! She does an amazing job and really takes time to pay attention to detail. My SNS dips always last forever and grow out so nicely you can barely even tell! 100% recommend her skills!

This was my first visit and I will definitely be back!! Serena did my dip powder with tips. She was so thorough and made sure my nails were perfect! I absolutely love my nails and cannot stop looking at them!

Quick service and mostly friendly. They dont really do any designs. I felt like it was overpriced for just getting flat colors. I tried showing them a design I wanted and their response was we dont do that. I asked them what they do offer as far as nail art, and they told me to just pick colors. They did attempt to marble one of my nails, but it just looked muddy. I wont be returning.Edited from 2 stars to 1 star based on the reply from the owner.

Everyone was very courteous and professional. My sister and I came through on a Thursday evening and didn’t have to wait. We both got exactly what we wanted! Lily did an amazing job, so I’ll most likely be asking for her again next time. Not a problem for me, but just be aware that if you pay with a card there’s a $1 charge and you have to tip in cash. There’s an ATM inside the salon though!

Came into this place after almost 4 years of being loyal to another salon. This salon blew me away- they are CLEAN (and I mean extremely clean!), super friendly, very inviting and they make you feel very comfortable the second you come in. I was especially pleased with the layout as well- it wasnt stuffy or loud, very pleasing. I had a photo of what I wanted and the nail tech Lynn delivered above and beyond! From the shape, to the color- it was perfection! Definitely my new nail salon from this day on! Thanks Kozy Nails :)

I went here with my grandma, we always try to be nice and tip well, about 10$ tip per pedicure/manicure, the first time I got acrylic nails they were poorly done, they were crooked and not done correctly, but the bigger problem was that they chipped after a few hours, the second time I went and had an issue with one of the ladies who did my grandmothers nails, the lady was mocking my grandma because she made the water to hot for her and it was burning her feet, my grandma kindly asked her to please make it cooler multiple times and still trying to be kind each time and the lady turned to the girl next to her each time and mocked my grandma and laughed each time as well, the lady who did my nails spent little time and effort on them, they chipped after a day, mocking someone who is kind and paying/tipping you well is not the way to treat customers, we will not be coming back here…

Excellent shellac manicure and pedicure I had done! Best I have ever had! They probably have over 100 colors of shellac, and everything is super clean and modern. The pedicure was an hour and they wrap your legs and feet in hot towels. I went on a tropical vacation for a week, and my nails and toenails made it through without one chip! I found my new nail place.Lucy does it again!!! Always amazing when she does my nails!! Second picture to prove how amazing she is! Will always return here

I went to have my nails done on October 30th for the first time in years. The girl did not do a good job. Everyone was really kind, but I was not satisfied with my nails. I said I like them more natural, shorter, thin. They were too long and thick. She also cut my thumb. She left glue and hard pieces under my nails. She didn’t go close enough to my cuticles with the polish and it looked like I needed a fill already. One week later I went to a different salon and they fixed them. I was not even 2 feet away from the other customer who was sneezing with a red nose. The room they brought me in was small with at least 4 clients very close to one another but from different groups. The entire job was messy and I would not recommend this business at this time for anyone with any health risk relating to COVID-19 because of the lack of space in the nail room. I have been here in the past and it was a good experience for a regular mani/pedi.

**Response**: Yes you misunderstood. The problem was not about the wait or an appointment. I’ve came to this salon numerous of times, routinely about twice a month. It’s ALWAYS busy and that’s NEVER a problem because customer service has always been good. Despite my shellac not lasting longer than a week, I Always come back simply because I enjoy the service. Sunday I walked in and was not greeted in any way. But a pen and pad was pushed towards me. And when I mentioned I’m not here to stay I would like to make an appointment for another day. I was handed a card and told to call when I’ve ALWAYS been able to make an appointment in person. It’s not what was said it was how it was said. And a simple solution would be for someone to set an appointment for me. No excuse. That person was very rude, cut and dry and it’s no way around it.I’ve always had a decent experience at this place. No complaints, even on a super busy day. But I simply walked in on a Sunday to make an appointment and the guy working did not greet me he simply pushed a pen and pad towards me and once I said I’m sorry I’m not looking to stay im wanting an appointment for another day. He handed me a card and refused to make an appointment. Extremely rude and attitude was disgusting. Very rude very cut and dry, extremely distasteful. I’m still appalled at the treatment I received. I will not be stepping foot back into this salon unfortunately. I’d rather go back to my 20 min commute to my original nail salon with quality shellac and service. It’s not what he did it’s HOW he did it. Completely turned off from this place.

First time coming here but I was actually impressed with their work. The guy I had doing my nails wasn’t sure how to go about doing what I wanted so he did the most part then had another woman finish them, now you may think that sounds bad but not really bcuz I would rather have them say they can’t do what I want as good and have some one else finish them then have them just go at it and do something I don’t want and say oh well that’s what u get. I am happy with what I had done and will come back again! They did their best to do exactly what I wanted and I am very pleased. 😃

Best nail place I know in Sterling Heights! The staff are always friendly, clean and there is an endless color choice in many different products. Got my nails done with shellac those were fine. Also did my toes. The guy who did my nails did not add a clear coat to my toes. I got them done yesterday and my toes are completely messed up already.

Went at off peak hours and was helped right away. The pedicure chairs are great and I liked watch HGTV during my service. Only thing I didnt like is that the establishment charges an extra $1 per person and per transaction to use debit/credit cards. We had 2 pedicures and they wanted to charge an extra $2 even though the card would have only been swiped once.

Lucy the owner is always bursting with energy and wants to make your experience a positive one. I did not like my color, my fault, not hers, and she redid the color three times until I was happy. I love, love my manicure, its the perfect color I have been looking for. She suggested I take a picture of the nail polish so I know for next time. Brilliant! Thank you for a such great customer service. I come every two weeks and Melissa usually takes care me, who is also awesome.

I walked in and was greeted very kindly. They were quick to set up the pedicure and had helped me pick the color I wanted. I enjoyed the massage chair while Jack I believe was his name did my pedi. It was a great experience. The place is very clean and everyone is nice and professional. Love this place will go back a lot more.

Scheduled Pedi and Manis with my stepdaughter and it started out great. I was happy with the pedicure, wasnt the greatest but was still good. Terrible experience with the manicure. First off it started with her trying to cut my entire nail across with one snip which was causing me pain in my nail beds, had to ask her to stop. Then she was very rough with my cuticles. Her file job was so terrible that I requested to fix it myself. She even snipped one so much that it started to bleed. I requested a new tech at this time. I got a Shellac coat. They did not buff my nail. They got polish all over the skin. No lotion used even though its advertised with the manicure. I will definitely never go back. I was excited too after reading multiple reviews. My step daughter said her pedicure was just okay. The manager stopped and fixed her paint job. Oddly the same tech that screwed up her paint job is the one that made me bleed and was entirely too rough. I have been getting pedicures and manicure for over 15 years and not once have I ever bled.... today my fingers are so sore from how much he cut off of my cuticles.....The tech that did my stepdaughters full set, cut them shorter than she asked and glued the nail to her skin.... I am sitting here today wondering if the woman who did my SD toes and butchered my nails is even qualified or has her license...

Got my nails done on 2/11/19; I am only giving this salon 3/5 because of the fact that they do acrylics in a private room the size of a small bedroom with little to no ventilation. I left with spectacular nails, but a migraine for the rest of the day. Today 3/8/19; I called to ask if I could come in for a fill in the big room and they told me “NO, small room acrylic only.” This is the only reason I will not be returning.

I got my nails done here 3 days ago. By today they have all broken off. I got pink and white ombre acrylics. Is there anything that you guys can to to help me fix this issue?
