I called the day before and made an appointment for my friend and I to get our nails done at 4. We got there and they had taken walk ins before us so we didn’t get in until 5. I wanted acrylics and she wanted gel on her natural nails. I chose my color and they only color of yellow they had that I liked was regular polish and they seemed to be annoyed that I wanted to get regular polish. When she applied my tips she didn’t pay attention and didn’t cover my whole nail tip and tried to pull it off. While I was getting the acrylic layed on, the brush she used was bigger than my nails, which got acrylic all over my skin surrounding the nail. Then when it came time to shape I wanted a slim almond type nails. She filed them all crooked and some had points while other were rounded. Because of when she put the tip on and flooded the glue out onto my skin it caused her to cut me while she was filing. She made me pay before the appointment was over. It finally came time to paint and she kept complaining that she had to use regular polish and was purposely putting it on messy and claiming it would look better if I would have just gotten gel. She even took my regular polish off and got up and went and picked out a gel in mustard/orangish yellow when I specifically asked for pastel yellow. After she was done she cleaned some of the polish on my skin off and took me to the nail dryer. The dryer was dirty and dusty on the inside and the salon itself isn’t very clean. On the other side of the wall on the inside of the salon are packs of toilet paper and loose rags. Nothing was sanitized, the station, the bits and I believe she used a perused file. There short with their customers and not very welcoming. The pedicure chair are worn and not cleaned including the floor and the nail design displays. My friend ask for a design and they did do it and did what they wanted. While my lady was doing my nails she dropped multiple things on the floor. Their workstations are dirty and unorganized. After I took my friend home I went for my money back and she grabbed my hand and said she would take it off while another woman said the bleeding was normal. I have had my nails done and never been cut let alone as many times as I was. I said I didn’t want her grinding them because they were already inflamed and stinging. When I took a shower the following night my fingers stung in the water and today the entire cuticle area is inflamed end swollen. I do not recommend this place business and for the sake of your fingers and money I suggest you don’t go. I will include the picture of what I wanted for reference

Really loved this place!! was super fast in my opinion and my nails turned out great! i’m pretty sure the girl who did them her name was lee and she was fantastic! can’t wait to go back

Busy location so i always call ahead for an appointment time and the techs are fantastic.

All tho it was kind of durty what do you inspect tho it’s Walmart but they did a fine job doing acrylic nails. I will return here

My nails looks horrible, they are all rough and gritty looking! Didn’t catch the ladies name but she had short hair and a ball cap on

First time customer..Called two days ahead for appointment. When we showed up, we were not greeted. Didnt know what to do. Another customer directed us to the sign in sheet that was covered by magazines. Signed in and waited. We told lady in front we had appointment. She nodded and went about her business. We werent the only ones not being helped. Once we were 15 minutes past appointment time without being helped at all, we left. Will not go back.

Your nail look good nor not. Ask your finger nails fist 🤣🤣 worker just try their best to get your nails look better (especial with what color), can not change your finger shape to look perfect 🤣

Had a 5 o’clock appointment and had to wait 40 minutes. Then got someone who evidently didn’t do pedicures full time did Nails. She did a lackluster job on the pedicure. Couldn’t hardly master any energy to do any massage on my feet whatsoever never bothered to file my toenails To takeoff any sharp edges. Barely cleaned around each nail with the instrument. Then messed up my polish putting on my flip-flops. Then fixed it poorly. Won’t be back

I love this salon! I go here to get my nails done by Le. She is so accommodating and always fitting me into her schedule regardless of the day or time. I won’t go any other place unless she moves!!

I asked over 3 times for a different color and they didn’t give me any options and I asked for longer and they didn’t listen. No shade but I am upset with how they turned out and they are crooked

Horrible experience. Myfingers hurt tech kept laughing cause obviously she cant speak any English to understandyour hurting me cut up my fingers got extreme amounts of acrylic on my hands and fingers I have nail polish all over my hands and still had to pay more than I usually do. Never again and Ill be finding a complait line

I love this place. They did an awesome job on mine an my daughters nails.

I got a full acrylic set and the man took almost 3 hours to do them. The nails are huge and poorly shaped - I have as much direction and correction as possible.I have heard good things about the other technicians here but the man that I went to was horrible. I won’t be going back here or recommending this place to anyone.

In the three years Ive been going to Davi Nails in Urbana Ohio never has this happen especially with the gel nails. I will not be returning there even if my place is closed for a week I will wait! I am so disappointed in this!

Great service. I really like how they use teamwork for time and efficiency. Very family vibe from employees. All about their clients! If you don’t like it they fix it no bad attitude. They want you happy! They are nail artists not just techs. They have a passion for what they do weather it a spa treatment, facial, waxing, mani or pedi they are very professional and qualified.

Couldnt possibly be worse. I had to go the next day to get my nails red one because they looked that bad. I wasnt going to go no where with nails that looked this bad. I scheduled an appointment with Anne and when I got there they told me she was busy and had to go with two other techs that obviously had no idea what they were doing.

The lady that did my friend and my nails was very rude. One guy didn’t have his mask even close to his face, and there was not a wide selection of regular polish colors. Definitely will not be going back there anytime soon!!

My sister and I went for fill ins and she absolutely hates the way her nails look now. Its only two weeks is what I had to keep telling her. Mine arent terrible but they dont really pay attention to what you ask them to do. Looking for a new nail salon to try out for next week.

My and my daughter got our nails done last Sunday. Around Tues I started having nails starting to come up back at cuticles. Theyll come off sometime today. My daughters feel really jagged&has bumps. I feel like going back in demanding they fix. For the price its very poor. Never will go back. I could tell they started rushing when others came in for service. Not good

First time I been there. I was not able to get into my normal salon. I did the sns sip (which I always do on my real nail)Day after my nails done I chipped. 2nd day 2 cracked. I have never had an issue with my SNS chipping or crackling. The service was great they were very sweet and nice but the nails not happy. Wasted money. Never cheat on my nail tech again

So I take my daughter to get her nails done and after she waited almost and hour finally they do her nails which they rushed and done only took 15 minutes and they was horrible so when I say something they keep saying it was the nail polish !!! I said no it’s not the nail polish it’s the nails so they say they give money back $38 when they looked like 5$ press on from the dollar store only gave me 27 back !!! By far the worse experience ever!!! They continue to talk to me about the price I said it was not the price it was the work nails were not even dusty and bumpy

I had my nails done already and I went there for a fill in and they took 2 hours to finish my fill in without even painting them, they’re slow and honestly not good

Extremely slow, poor quality, kind of rude to customers. Overcharge for poor quality of their work. Will not be returning to this one. Definitely sticking to the one in Urbana, ladies there are friendly and the quality of the work is just so much better.

Ive always had great experiences at DaVi Nails. Mrs. Sheila is my nail tech. Shes quick, professional, knowledgeable, and always makes me feel more like a friend than just a customer. This is true for everyone know that goes to her! Even the days Ive come in not sure of what Ive wanted, she makes suggestions and takes the time to help me choose. Ive never left disappointed!

The techs are nice. I went to get a fill here I live out of town my nails are poorly shaped the tops are lumpy. It could be the way he did the acrylic or his sloppy job with my gel. While he was doing my daughters nails I seen that the top of my nail was humped and the tip was dipped in. I asked if he could fix it he said next time I asked again he said some nails are curved and the previous person did it. So to clarify I said “So you or anyone here can’t file it down” he finally just fixed it for me. But only put one layer of gel. Even when he started I had to ask him to trim so if the old acrylic that was lifting. I shouldn’t have to tell someone how to do their job.

This was literally the WORST nail salon I’ve ever been to, I asked him to do almond shape and he didn’t even acknowledge me when I said that and made my nails look like shovels instead , I was talking and he rudely told me to stop talking, he didn’t even apply the tips and just used they acrylic overlay on top of my natural nails. He asked me to come back the next day to get my nails painted because he said he didn’t have enough polish and he wouldn’t let me choose a different color because he already painted two of my nails that color, he also charged me for a full set when that’s not even what I wanted or what he did I told him I wanted a fill in and he started taking my previous acrylic off saying that he was going to put on a new set and when I said I just want a fill in he did it anyway. And all around the worst experience at any nail salon

My wife was highly upset after going here. Just like other people discovered, the man would not fix the bad nails and they wanted to charge without color because my wife wanted to walk out. She even asked them to take off the nails and she would pay and they wouldnt do it. The guy wanted her to come back in a week for them to fix it off but this is wrong... they should have been able to fix it. She tried to bargain with them but left completely disgusted. She went to another salon and paid for them to fix it. The people (especially the guy) has bad service and cheats people out of their money. Dont go here!!!

Not very happy with my latest experience. Had nails filled and gel polish on Friday. By Monday nails were chipping. Went to Urbana salon (also Davi) and had to pay full amount to get them fixed and repainted. Just found out these salons are not affiliated. Not a happy camper.😡

They do a good job... but if u have anything but square or round shape, they charge u 5 extra dollars... every time. Any other place I went to, they do that, but it is a one time thing. Because ur nails are already that shape, why charge everytime? Yes, if u changed them.. oh, the first time I went there they also charged me an extra 5 to take of a clear gel polish off and all she did was use her tool to sand it off, no soaking or anything.. ridiculous.

Wife signed in and waited for 20 minutes, only to be told that they wouldn’t get to her today. Couldn’t have told us that 20 minutes ago when you saw her sign in? Inconsiderate to say the least. Especially for a mediocre over priced nail shop.

I had the worst experience of my life here, I left almost in tears. I had beautiful nails before going here and all I needed was a fill on SOLAR nails. Sheila did an acrylic fill instead of the gel for Solars and then PAINTED with WHITE NAIL POLISH my tips....I have white polish streaming down my nail, a hair stuck to the nail and my pinky nail is bleeding!!!! She told me shed be back with me in 5 minutes for my shine while the nails dried......instead, she began doing someone elses nails and in TEN minutes, when the dryer went off, she completely ignored me. I finally got up and walked out WITHOUT the shine. The manager wasnt in today so I have to wait until tomorrow to see about getting my money back. BTW...she had me pay her BEFORE she PAINTED THE TIPS WHITE......that should have been a red flag for me to stop right then and there. DONT GO HERE!!!
