*EDIT*: The owner contacted me after learning my issues with the appointment I had scheduled. She explained the scheduling confusion that happened and offered to do my nails for free. They turned out well and the staff were very personable.I had an appointment to have my nails done with a massage after or so I thought. When I showed up there was no receptionist but there were signs directing clients to the back for hair and nail appointments so I followed the signs. When I got to the room for nails the lights were off and there was no body there. There was no one to ask if there was a scheduling error or if the person I had an appointment with was running late. There was one lady working in the salon cutting hair but I didnt want to interrupt someone in the middle of a hair cut. I waited for about 15-20 minutes before I decided to leave. I gave an extra star because the environment itself was calming and clean but I couldnt give anymore since I didnt receive their services. I dont know if there was some kind of miscommunication when I scheduled or what but I definitely would have appreciated a heads or a receptionist present to discuss my confusion.

Perfect salon! Great environment, atmosphere! Decor is amazing, and warm...inviting! Private areas for services, create a cozy experience. Restrooms are nice, and always clean. Staff is wonderful, and the owner...she is the great! I so would recommend this salon, wont be disappointed!

Saw Kelley today for a haircut and color. Super gal, and excellent at her craft. Goes above and beyond for perfection. Highly highly recommend her!

By far the best salon I’ve been to. Robyn cut my hair and I have no complaints. I was first welcome in with a hug, and she made me feel like family. I found my new stylist. Cheryl the owner even came out and we all had a great conversation. I would highly recommend Nuance, and especially Robyn! Won’t find a better more friendly stylist in Springfield.

The salon is a nice, quiet place and is well maintained. The only service I’ve had here is a haircut, but they offer a lot more. Candace is fairly new here, but she’s been cutting my hair for years and I think she’s a great addition to the spa.
