Havent signed up yet (next payday) but Ive checked out several gyms. Sanford is has some of the better perks & more inclusive programs. The Tea/Ellis road location has a nice play set for the kids & a family friendly play pool. The oxbow location has a swim pool. Neither are 24 hour, both have 2 hour daycare for while youre working out

Great place to get a pump in. They offer so much and truly care about their members. Tons of services and classes. The steam room is incredible. Clean environment. Superior.

Had a birthday party in one of the side rooms was pretty okay.

I love that Sanford has a place in there for therapy. I got a new knee and had to go 6 blocks.. cannot beat that.

This is a great family Gym. The price is extremely reasonable for all the extras vs your typical 24/7 gym. Love the free classes already attended 10 so far. You cant get those work outs at a 24/7 gym. Love the hot tub after a grueling leg day or back day. The Kid Zone is a life saver 1.25 and they watch your child for 2 hours. Plenty time to get great work out in and a soak in the hot tub. They also have military discount for us veterans. Would recommend it to anyone that has a hard time to work out due to little ones.

Been a member for over 3 years. Wouldnt change gyms for nothing I love this place. They are very clean.

Overall great place to stay in shape but after numerous complaints the floor on the mens room side of the door to the pool area has had standing water for over two months. The water is now growing algae and mold. The drain is clogged and the smell is awful. Black algae is actually floating at the top and there is no way to avoid it walking barefoot or with sandals through the area. (Perhaps a cleaner caused the algae to come up from the drain but the 2 inches of water has nowhere to go. Half wear shoes through it as its the only way to get to the sauna. Im certain several patrons having foot infections, fungus can trace it to this spot. Well call the health department on the next check.

Love this wellness center. Has everything you could want or need including a great selection of free weights, weight machines, cardio equipment, cycle room, and more. Has free fitness classes weekly, sauna, steam room, whirlpool, and 2 pools, one with a slide! Perfect for the whole family. Great membership options and I love that you can cancel anytime.

Have a family membership here. Wife makes it to a lot of classes. I enjoy basketball. Only thing I dont like is some of the courts are always busy. A lot matters on time of day. Weekdays midday is probably the best. They did not always have easy access to basketballs but now do. Staff want you to enjoy your time.

Very nice facility. I mainly use the basketball court which is very nice and the patrons are courteous and welcoming. Being a guy who hasnt stepped foot in a gym in forever, I was apprehensive about it. Not any more though. One issue is the fact that they close at 6 on the weekends :(

Holy goodness. I cannot say enough good things about this facility. As a mom, the family locker rooms and amazing kiddie splash zone and pool are lifesavers. All the other things like swimsuit dryers, free lockers, great daycare facilities, and friendly, helpful staff make this wellness facility the best.

Greatlife is just better, although nothing wrong with sandford. Was just missing a few things, and equipments too old. So if you actually work out, this wont be a good spot to start

Great physical therapists.

Getting PT here and the staff is so nice and helpful. I started using the actual wellness center and there is so much available in the building.

My new favorite place to be. Not a new years resolution but a lifetime revolution, newest equipment, restored and facelifted workout areas, one can never get bored, friendly faces and trainers to answer any question you night have on exercise, and health.

The staff is AWESOME here! Ive been to a few gyms in town. The kind that make you sign a contract for 6 months and are impossible to get out of. This place is month to month, so if you dont like it, leave!! If your looking for a positive experience, go here!

It is nice and clean on inside. Equipment is up to date and top notch. The classes are well done. Also it is great that they have a Profile in there, all of the Wellness Centers should have onsite Profile.

Nice clean gym. Has a steam room and sauna. Good selection of equipment. Ive quit this place twice over the years and it bugs me that it takes like over 30 days to end the membership.

Swimming instructors are entirely unreliable consistently do not show up for their assigned lesson. Weve had several lessons in a row postponed due to instructor issues. The instructors also do not make an attempt to inform parents on progress. Most of the time they put the kid back in shallow pool then walk off at end if lesson.

They don’t maintain their gym equipment and their billing department ripped us off. We gave them the opportunity to correct the issues and they didn’t care.

Ive been a member at the Family Wellness Center for about 10 years and it has never disappointed. Very nice people and very clean equipment!

Great staff, daycare is excellent, and nice equipment. I didnt experience any of the issues listed in the below comments. I would however like if they extended their hours in the evening past 9 and weekend past 6.

Need a few more chairs if they continue to host basketball games.

Come here very often, always gym equipment to use, sometimes its super busy just depends on the time you come in. Overall a great gym though.

Its super nice inside and the pool was great for my toddler. Theres always a machine available.

I stopped in during open hours to give them my money and start a membership.. nobody in sales was working so they had me fill out a form… no one has called me… I liked the gym but evidently they have better things to do then enroll new paying customers… off to the next.
