My tech was amazing. The company and how they handle customers is what I have an issue with. My fridge stopped working. My home warranty company chose Sears to address my issue. I was told the earliest appointment I could make was 2 weeks out. Fine. I understand with covid there are delays and shortages. They had a rep call me and ask me what was going on. Then that rep guessed at what part I would need and ordered it. It was to arrive before my scheduled appointment. I get a text saying my part was delayed and if it wasn’t here before my appointment it would be canceled and I would have to reschedule. The part came the next day. My appointment was two days later. It was scheduled for anywhere between 10 to 2. I took the day off and was waiting for any kind of communication. Finally at noon I called to ask why I hadn’t heard anything. This rep tells me my appointment was canceled because the part was delayed. I told her I had the part. She had me open the package. It was only one part. Before this point, I was not informed of a second part. So she tells me I have to wait to receive that part and then call back. I asked for a tracking number or anything indicating how long I was expected to wait. She said she’d send an email. Never got one. I finally get the part. Call to make the appointment. I can’t get one for another 2 weeks out. The tech came out finally. Actually ran diagnostics on my refrigerator and it was a total loss. So me waiting around for parts that a guy in a call center guessed about, was completely unnecessary and highly infuriating. This business model is idiotic. The tech had to take the parts and check them back into inventory to be sent back to the distributor when they could’ve sent the tech out in the first place to diagnose the issue.

The gentleman was very professional, and I forgot his name (maybe John?), and he fixed the problem in about a half an hour. I appreciate his time and concern for my needs, and he is recommended by me to work on anyones appliances.Sincerely,Steve

Was not expecting my 3 year old LG refrigerator could be fixed but we were lucky enough to get a great repair guy, knew what needed to be done, worked efficiently was courteous, very happy

Their is a very big window for the tech to arrive 8-5,wish they could narrow it down.I know sometimes thats hard to do because tech may run into problems.But would be nice if they could.

Great repair person. They were knowledgeable and interesting. walked me through all of the possible issues and told me how my unit scored. Took extra time to assure me of some minor issues and how to correct them.

Very great experience! Our techs, we had 2 in one day for 2 different things, were both very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The company should do all they can to keep guys like this on the work force because they are terrific at what they do!

Extremely satisfied with the whole experience. I like the fact that you can make your appointment on line and you can pick your day and time. The repairman was courteous and answered all my questions. He cleaned up everything before he left. I would call Sears again for repairs on my appliances.

Serviceman John from Sioux City was at our home early on our appt. date. He is very easy to visit with, addressing any questions we had about our Proform treadmill. He also has a nice smile and a great sense of humor. PS: My husband and I think he deserves a raise :) Dont tell him we said so.

It took four trips to repair my washing machine. Worst experience yet with this company. So disappointed. I had to make two trips to the laundromat that I was told I would be reimbursed for, but never was. My machine was still usable until after the third time someone was sent to fix it, and when they said I could still use it, I did, and ended up with water all over my floor. They did give me a $100 voucher to use at Sears after it wasn’t fixed after the second trip, but nothing when they had to come back the fourth time & I had to take more time off of work. I also had to make several phone calls & finally went into the store to get someone to return my call after I ended up with water on my floor. Very frustrating when all you get is machines when you call, and after you finally talk to someone they say you will get a call back & you don’t!

John (0715276) was the fourth repairman that Sears sent to my residence to fix my dishwasher. My GE dishwasher has never worked properly for the four years I have owed it. The other technicians suggested I use Lemi-Shine, which I now use, that the hot water is not hot enough, now its 30 degrees hotter, one said it was me, and not the dishwasher. I would have to do all of my silverware by hand and practically have to wash dishes by hand. Then when I removed them they would still be so spotted. John comes in, asks hot much JetDry I use. I told him that I do put it in the dispenser, but it seems like it never dispenses. John installed a new dispenser and WOW! John does a super job! Thanks gain, John!

Excellent dervice, the technician was polight and efficient. Repaired our appliance with perfection. The technician was great, and a nice guy. GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE IN PAY. He is worth it. We called Sears so that we could have our dishwasher checked out before the protection agreement expired. This is the second time Mike has been to our house. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly and always has good information and tips to share with us.

The guy was not a real ball of fire. I have had some very good ones in the past. He was here the first time, put in the boot around the door. I am not sure what he did wrong but the door cracked back by the hinge and he also ordered the wrong part for the dispenser. Another guy came to fix another appliance and just looked at it, he got the right part. The first guy didnt tell me the bearing was going out, well it did and ruined the whole drum. I had to get a new washer and they only allowed me $700 for it. After paying for the warranty as long as I did, the should have gave me more. I am usually very satisfied with the guys they send but this one just didnt impress me.Thank-you Cindy Sebade

Technician repaired washer on March 2nd and one week later washer is out of balance and smells hot. I called the Sears Repair line and can not get a person to repair the washer for 8 days. I do not consider that very prompt service.

Everybody was very nice and helpful! service is great. My only issue is that it takes too much time. I specifically told the person who scheduled the appointment what I thought was wrong, she made me believe that the repairman would have the right parts with him. When he came he said he received no details on what was wrong, consequently the parts had to be ordered and I had to wait another week to get my washer fixed. with a large family one week is a long time! Our Kenmore machine is a lemon it breaks about every 10 months or so, its been the same part all but one time. Overall the customer service and repair people are very friendly and dont deserve a bad review.

Nothing but problems with Sears. Their repair technicians did nothing. Twice. Then they tried to schedule an appointment for 3 weeks out when our fridge would not work and would not reimburse us for the food that we lost because their technicans did nothing. The worst service Ive had with any company. Never use Sears.

Our dryer was working but just giving an occasional error message and after they worked on it we were told it just had lint built up. The repairman then left and our dryer has not worked since. We called immediately to have them come back but were told we will have to wait for 2 weeks. Totally unacceptable and will never ever buy an appliance from Sears again.

We were satisfied with the service on the treadmill but the refrigerator cleaning left us with problems getting the level od coldness adjusted. It doesnt seem to keep the freezer compartment cold enough. I have tried to change the adjustment but still doesnt want to keep the frozen items frozen.

The $99. trip charge is out of line. That charge is to come out and find out what is wrong and then the same charge to come out and fix. I am not sure that I will use their repair service again. Totally out of line.

These people are a joke! Guy came to diagnose the problem told us $350 to fix it. We thought about it and called them back 2 weeks later. They told us they have all the info and sent the same guy back. He came to our home 6 days later and had not yet ordered the part and wanted me to pay the service fee just to order the part...really?? I called a local appliance repair company. They came in 1 day and it wasnt even what the sears guy said was wrong!!! It cost me $120 and no special order parts were needed. Will never call sears again!!!
