Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, patient and kind. The hygienist was AWESOME with a great bedside manner and a ton of knowledge. I have never been to the dentist without having a plan of care or having them find something to work on UNTIL TODAY. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

My initial intake as a new patient at Simpsonville Family Dentistry was great! I have only been to one other dentist my entire life, and I was really impressed with this new office as a whole! They still are having people check in from the parking lot, and checking temperatures at the door, which I appreciate. The dental hygienist was very kind and informative. I felt like she was very thorough, and explained everything really well. Dr. Holtzclaw has a great demeanor. He definitely put me at ease. Everyone that took care of me seems very knowledgeable and like they care about their patients. Overall, a great experience! I’m glad I chose this office.

I was very impressed, as usual, with how well my visit went. I had to have my tooth sanded, and an overlay put on top. The numbing process was much better than at past dentists, isolating to only one tooth, and my lip and tongue werent numb afterwards. They took digital pictures with a wand, no big mouth-guard for imprints. They then essentially printed it, bonded to my tooth, and buffed it so it fit properly in my mouth. As painless and simple as it possibly could have been. I was in and out in a little over an hour. On top of that, staff was courteous, professional, personable, and made me feel comfortable through the whole process. Cant say enough good things about this place.

If youre looking for a dentist that really cares about his patients.... look no further. Last Thursday night I broke a tooth while eating a turkey sandwich. I called his office and left a message fully expecting a return call the next day. What a nice surprise when only 10 minutes later he called and scheduled me for 7:30 the next morning.(helping me to avoid having to rearrange picking up my daughter at school that morning.)His staff is top notch.... always friendly and helpful with insurance filing and scheduling.Ive had four or five dentists in my lifetime. They have all been really good..... but Dr. Holtzclaw is the best.I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist who cares.

Dr. Holtzclaw and staff at Simpsonville Family Dentistry are caring and professional. Whether its a 6 month check-up and cleaning or an intricate dental procedure they take the time to answer my questions and never make me feel like Im bothering them. My whole family has been patients for years and its clear they care about our well-being. When our insurance wouldnt cover cancer screenings they took the charge off the bill. When one of our kids broke a tooth on a holiday weekend Dr. Holtzclaw met us at his office ASAP. When another of our children began to have severe overcrowding of teeth Dr. Holtzclaw helped us find an excellent and caring orthodontist who would also work with our budget. Were not a paycheck to Simpsonville Family Dentistry, they really want to help us achieve the best dental health possible.
