This was the best dental experience in my 28 years. I’m from NYC and been to plenty dental offices and have yet to experience anything like Chapman’s. He was patient, informative, passionate about what he does. The staff was amazing and made me feel really comfortable. He took his time with my procedure and saved a tooth that im sure another dentist would have got rid of. I was weary at first because of some of the reviews HOWEVER, im %100 satisfied with the Chapman’s dental service and im sure you will be too!- Kweshawn F.

Our family has been going to Dr. Chapman since we moved to the area 6 years ago. The staff is always personable and any work we have had done beyond checkups has been excellent. I particularly liked the laser for cavity / crown work rather than freezing and drilling, the laser was painless, clean and easy. You also never know what the music of the day will be, a nice added feature.

3 years ago I was at work and cracked a tooth. My dentist was closed and I called Chapman dental and they said come in right away. I liked Dr.Chapman from the moment I met him he assured me he would take care of me and yes he did! He is a great dentist with a great attitude and demeanor. My wife then went to him and she had the same experience and view of him as I did. We highly recommend him to everyone!

Would not recommend. Just look at the other recent reviews as I have had a similar experience.Ive gone here for years before I found out how this place runs. If youre thinking of going here, dont! Ive found a much better dentist not far away with good morals and ethics in regard to a dental practice and more experience!

I feel so lucky that we found Dr. Chapman when we moved to South Carolina. He and his staff have provided wonderful dental care for my family of five - I even pulled my three kids from their pediatric dentist and brought them to Dr. Chapman. Friendly, accommodating staff, and excellent, informed dental care. We feel like family.

Went today to get a cavity filled. Haven’t been to the dentist in a while, as I have really bad anxiety when it comes to dentists. Dr. Chapman made me feel so comfortable with the whole process. He and his staff are super friendly and did everything in their power to make sure I had a good experience. Would highly recommend to anybody needing dental work done!

Im 15 years old and Ive been going to Chapman Dental for a little over 3 years. Jay one of hygienist does a really good job cleaning my teeth, and I always feel comfortable in the chair while hes cleaning. Dr. Chapman filled a cavity and at first I was nervous but he constantly checked if I was ok during the process. Also, everybody in the office is always friendly.

Going to the dentist has always given me anxiety, as I have a mouth full of fillings and dental work from the past. However, I have been a patient at Chapman Dental for over 5 years and have always received excellent service and been treated like family. Dr. Chapman always explains my options and keeps a good eye on problem areas. My husband and son also see him and love talking with him about cars and racing :)

Some people think that getting a root canal is an awful experience. Well Im here to tell you that Alex Chapman is the dentist you need to go to for pain free care. Chapman has deleted his FB page that had pitiful reviews and has given nonsensical responses here, so lets address the issues theyre trying to cover.Alex has sent out invoices to friends and their families because Alex got upset with them. They previously didnt owe anything per their statements of account containing adjustments, but Chapman Dental has gone back and altered their accounts.The owners response that our claims are Inaccurate. Payment is due when services are rendered. is also misleading because Chapman didnt even follow his own policy that an estimate of copay would be collected when services are rendered. Chapman represented on multiple occasions to multiple people that they didnt owe anything when they attempted to pay. He was taking their insurance money (which was around 80% of services performed in the cases I saw) and writing the rest off as is common practice for small businesses to do with friends and family. The idea that these patients were getting treatment for free is patently false.As for the statement that Also Covid-19 has delayed insurance claims being returned to us, that has zero bearing on what we know youve done. In fact, many of the new amounts being invoiced are primarily for years back and insurance has paid those claims.I have yet to hear you admit that your business has gone in and made these alterations, but the evidence is clear on the matter. I want to know how you can justify this behavior, because I can guarantee you that none of those patients would have continued to go to you if they knew you might one day decide to reverse these discounts and threaten to send them to collections when they questioned you.You always did great dental work and many others on here will attest to that, so why would you risk destroying your companys reputation when it comes to billing practices?I dont want lies or excuses, so feel free to ignore this if that is all you have to offer.

I didn’t think loving your dentist was ever actually possible?! Dr. Chapman and his entire staff are SO friendly and their office atmosphere is always so happy! My husband and I started going here based off a friend’s recommendation, and we were not disappointed. Dr. Chapman is very thorough and they walk you through every step and discuss insurance coverage before any procedure is done. What I love most is Dr. Chapman truly doesn’t want to put you through or make you pay for anything unnecessary. We liked them so much we pulled our kids out of their Pediatric Dentist office to come here. Everyone there was so good with our kids (ages 8 & 9). My husbands root canal/crown experience here was FAR better than others he’s had done in the past at other dentists offices. His crown here looks INCREDIBLE, very real! Personally, my intensive gum/regular cleanings are so thorough you can genuinely feel the difference afterwards, his Techs are top notch. Just an absolutely wonderful Family Dentist; personable, friendly, straight-forward, honest and very good at what he does!!!!

Unprofessional and unethical. Was always told after every visit “You are good”. Only to be hit with a bill going back 5 years for what insurance didn’t pay that I was never notified of, never received an account statement or asked for payment.

Im not sure where to begin all I can say for sure is I have a full blown fear of dentist. Because of the fear I let my teeth get in a horrible state until finally I had no other choice. I have been to a few dentist out of necessity and I can say without a doubt that this dentist has the ability far beyond any other dentist to keep you calm and pretty much pain free. I cannot stress to you enough before you spend your money anywhere else go see Dr Chapman. I will update a finish photo when were all through.

Fantastic staff that make you feel at home from the moment you walk in the door. If you have any apprehension about visiting the dentist, Id really recommend Dr. Chapman. Chapman dental who was my dentist for a few years started out seemingly nearly too good to be true...... turns out because it was absurdly so. first it started out with prices. i would be told the cost would be a certain amount and then without any explanation or consult... my bill would be alarmingly more than they confirmed to me it would be.... of course they allowed me to make payments & i was just grateful to be getting my teeth what i thought was professionally fixed so naively i gave them the benefit of a doubt... then i had a severe abcess on a tooth (that was being prepped for a root canal by dr.chapman) a few days before my wedding. my face was grossly swollen and distorted, i was in excruciating pain & mortified with my wedding being only days away.i went to Chapman dental immediately and dr.chapman gave me a shot, supposedly drained the abcess on the tooth, gave me some antibiotics and assured me all would be ok. all was NOT ok. the next morning a face i didnt think could get any worse became unrecognizable and terrifying to myself plus the pain was so horrendous i was starting to vomit. i immediately rushed to the E.R. after personally texting dr.chapman with pictures and he was at a loss.... the hospital appropriately drained the abcess (funny that the ER knew more about dentistry than my dentist) & proceded to give me the CORRECT antibiotics and my disfigured face and pain problem thankfully vanished in time for my wedding on 9/23 THANKS TO THE HOSPITAL. then after my marriage i was added to my husbands insurance policy and scheduled to get a root canal on the abcessed tooth that had caused so many probs on 9/27. i arrived at my appointment with my husbands insurance card where he had already added me. i double checked with the receptionist that the insurance did in fact go through and she confirmed this. i had the root canal and life went on.... until i needed two crowns and i was waiting for them (i was told Id get them in a week or so) only one week turned into two than four than almost two months went by....i had called a couple times and was told they were almost done, which was a lie. then i was notified by Chapman dental that they would not put in the two crowns which i had paid for MONTHS AGO, until i paid IN FULL for a very expensive root canal that THEY ASSURED ME WAS COVERED BY MY HUSBANDS INSURANCE. they were holding my crowns hostage wanting more of my money so they did not have to pay for THEIR OWN MISTAKE.i am a VICTIM here! i called the insurance company which told me that my coverage didnt start until Oct.1st (i was married 9/23& the root canal happened on the 27th) & it was an obvious error by my dentist.i was so confident Chapman dental would fix their error. However all of their fake friendliness and kindness to me quickly vanished and instead they crudely and somewhat stupidly even tried blaming the insurance company for their mistake...even going as far to tell me that my husbands insurance company assured them i had coverage since AUGUST 1ST. now why on Earth would my future husbands insurance company cover me almost TWO MONTHS BEFORE I WAS MARRIED when i could only join his policy AFTER we were married.it was the most absurd, ridiculous, insulting &obviously facetious excuse they could have given me. here i was the victim and being severely persecuted by my friends at Chapman dental because THEY made a mistake that THEY didnt want to pay for.i immediately found another dentist who not only stood by his word but also his work.....and to add insult to injury after the years of going to Chapman dental.... Im now having to get the root canal that dr.chapman guaranteed, pulled out because ever since he did that root canal the infection never left and its caused me numerous other dental &health problems. i wouldnt give this place a single star but it didnt allow that option. please get everything signed and in writing what they tell you so you do not have to suffer years of pain and huge expenses due to corrupt greedy unprofessional places such as Chapman dental.

Dr. Chapman is my hero!! I woke up having severe nerve pain on the left side of my mouth on Monday. On Wedesday I went to a well know Endodontist and my dentist today. Unfortunately, they were not able to diagnose my problem, sent me home to suffer. In fact my pain became more severe, leaving me feeling the worst I have ever felt in my life. Feeling hopeless I went home an crying due to the pain radiating through my nerves, face and jaw bones. My husband began calling dentist in Charlotte and Atlanta!! I was desperate. I google dentist from Greenville over 30 minutes. Many closed at noon or didnt perform root canals. Just before giving up and 6:00 pm, I found that Dr. Champman office was soon to close, but I took a chance and called.I was greeted professionally and allowed to tell my saga of what was going on with me. Instead of informing me that they were about to close, I was encouraged to come in. This was the best decision I made.Dr. Chapman was very informative and honest on what he could to for me. After his evaluation he gave me choices that I agreed with instead of telling me there is nothing he could do. I ended up needing a root canal. Although, I wanted an endodontist to do my root canal, I was so glad that I decided to allow Dr. Chapman to perform it. It was painless, and done with precision and care. His dental assistant, Alice was by far the nicest person I have meet in a dentist office. She was very caring and comforting to me. Actually, all the staff were professional and caring. I guess I have a new dentist family now!! If you want caring and professional dentist who can do everything (one stop shop) this is the detains to go to. You will not regret it!!

Worse dentist dont even waste your time they dont care about you at all have a tooth that half of it is broken off in so much pain not able to sleep had the X-ray they could see how bad it was told me to see a oral surgeon and showed me the door nothing to help with the pain no antibiotics called back and said that the pain just keeps getting worse and is killing me and was told our office does not write any type of meds at all and your doctor is supposed to care about you and help you not dr chapman and I hope your office reads this I will never go back to your office and I will make sure I tell every person I know to not go here now Im finding a new dentist someone that cares and that will help me if I have another emergency like this but for anyone thinking about going here if you ever have a emergency like I did and are in a lot of pain go here if you want a X-ray they take your money then show you the door cant even get antibiotics to. help with the swelling and throbbing pain...
