Good place but the owner over works the mistress, gets after her, and who knows what else. A family member of mine ordered a dress and it was not what we wanted at all, overall not such a “good” place

Very low quality on dresses for a high price . They charge you extra for defective areas on dresses (get them fixed) when u literally just ordered the dress from them

Went with my daughter and future son-in-law. He was looking for tuxedos for himself and his groomsmen. As do most formal wear stores, Image Avenue Clothiers rents and sells tuxedos. Unlike the big box stores, we dealt directly with the owner. Phil has been in the formal wear business for 30-plus years and proprietor of this business since approximately 2009. He is passionate about his business, and it shows in his top-notch customer service. The selection in the store is limited; however, they have catalogs featuring dozens of tuxedos from which to choose. Phil guided us through every step, with no pressure. Zero. This is truly a service-oriented business. My future son-in-law found a very handsome tuxedo that was leaps and bounds nicer than those at the big box stores. We found equally nice tuxedos for his groomsmen. Rental price does not include shoes, but even after adding the shoe rental his price is more than $50 below the competition. For an out-of-town groomsman, Phil will give him instructions on getting fitted locally and then using those measurements to get him a tuxedo here. Even nicer, for just $10, hell drop ship the tuxedo to his home address so that hell have it beforehand. I found a gorgeous Italian tuxedo for myself of excellent quality at a reasonable price. If youre looking for personal service from a professional at highly competitive pricing, this is your place. Using the Yelp app on your smartphone gets you a 10% discount! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Image Avenue Clothiers did the alterations for my wedding dress. Connie, Phil and the rest of the team did an amazing job on my wedding dress. The price is right and the staff is very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They did several fittings until everything fit just right and was perfect for my special day. I can only recommend this place and will bring all my alterations there from now on! Thank you!!!

I regret using this place for my dress alteration. They charged me $60 to hem a 2 layer dress and fix a hook and eye, when it turns out all they did was cut 1 layer. When I went to pick up the dress days later it was blatantly crooked, several of the cuts were ugly and jagged, and the hook and eye was still broken. The gentleman agreed with me and asked me to come back the next day. When I came back the hemming looked better, but the hook and eye was still broken. To make things worse, he showed me the 2 inches that had been hemmed off my dress in an attempt to argue that even the manufacturers hem isnt perfect. It looked pretty good to me compared to what this company did to my dress. And finally, the lady tried telling me that the hook and eye was supposed to hook to the fabric of the dress, not the metal loop that Id asked them to fix and PAID to have sew in. Which they failed to do. In the end I overpaid, made way too many trips out to their store, dealt with poor customer service, and was not happy with the final product. I shouldve read the reviews first before coming here.

They are the best. Ms Green has NO CLUE of what Rosie and Phil do for all of us. They are my tailors and we have developed a friendship. The are love my the San Antonio community. You will not regret going to them.

Take a picture of before and after if you are willing to take a chance with them. Its a hit or miss. I got a hit with one and major miss with the other unfortunately, therefore I dont recommend nor would I ever go back because they dont recognize their mistakes no matter how obvious, they are very rude when you point out a mistake.

Image Avenue have extremely nice suits and tuxedos. From urban wear to the traditional tuxedo they have it for all occasions. I am getting married July 28, 2012 and I wanted an old 1920s Al Capone look for my tuxedo. After traveling to all sides of town in San Antonio, no one really had the look that I was looking for. While at the mall looking for just a nice suit because I was just going to settle for something decent, so I gave it a try and decided to take a glimpse in there with no expectations.Phil, the owner of the store, approached me, greeted me with a handshake, and introduced himself. I described to him the kind of suit I wanted, low and behold while flipping through his catalog I saw the exact suit that I wanted. Promptly he took my measurements, gave me a jacket to try on, and even got me something to drink. All the the other tuxedos shops for one didnt have what I was looking for, did not offer any other assistance when I didnt find what I was looking for. Phil, on the other hand, did not leave my side and informed me that if he didnt have what I was looking for he was confident he could find it. Luckily I did not have to look anywhere else because he had exactly what I was looking for. Not only that I explained to him the reason why we were moving up our wedding. My father has stage 4 lung and brain cancer and was given by the doctors 6 months to 2 years. Phil and his wife Rosie have been very understanding of the situation and have stuck with us throughout the whole time, and even helped us out on the price. I recommend Image Avenue to all those looking for custom suits, tuxedos, urban, and traditional, cause if they dont have it they know exactly where to get it.Thank you Phil and Rosie for everything!!!!

Used them for our groom/groomsmen suits. Misquoted us pricing then were rude to us when we questioned why the pricing had gone up well over what we were quoted. Should have canceled at this point. Learn from my mistake. Very disorganized. We felt like an afterthought as they were busy with prom/fiesta. My groom’s suit from a national brand was the perfect color but was ill-fitted- not what I expected for a tailored look. Then they called us multiple times on the honeymoon questioning why the suit hadn’t been returned. It had been returned Sunday-the day after the wedding! Brides/grooms- go elsewhere.

Poor Customer service, and inconsistent prices. They change the price, after giving you a quote. The product that was produced was not worth 140.00, and looked poorly made. I would not recommend this place to anyone. What a poor service!

I was very pleased with my alterations on my suits. I work in a highly public industry, where you must always look your best. I am very finicky when it comes to detail. Thank you mr. Phil Zavala and staff for a job well done.

Worse customer service!!!!! Gave wrong price for my kids alteration and called asking for double I paid days after drop off. Even though they made a mistake and didnt own up to it they did not alter a very important part for the ring boy ( my son) suit. Never argue about their pricing even though they made a mistake cause they ruin your suit the day before an important event. Shouldve told me atleast that they werent going to do it instead of doing what they did. Really bad, worse customer service I ever had coming from a owner. As I would never do this as a owner of a company myself!!!!! Not recommend to anyone!!!

Phil and his staff r wonderful merchants to work with . They altered my suit and sons suit for a wedding , as a rush order . The prices are very much in line with other competitors in San Antonio. They r a TOP notch company above everyone in town , as they custom-design the Rey Feo Fiesta Suits and work with NBA ball players and news media personalities . I SWEAR TO YOU, YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! The co-owner Rosy, is rude, unprofessional, extremely lacks in her customer service skills, and is in need of sn attitude adjustment. She acted a complete fool in the store, dogging her husband , the CEO, out and barking at him to get outvof the store, when he promised us an alteration service that SHE didnt agree with! So only come here if you want to get LIED to and promised a service that you ultimately dont get, OVERCHARGED, if you want to deal with Rosys DISGUSTING ATTITUDE, and if you want to be dissatisfied with the product, when you find out they didnt do several things right. They change on you after you have paid them their money. This is not worth going through, for a bride who is already stressed. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO MY SISTER, MOM, AUNT, COUSIN, ETC, NOT EVEN MY WORST ENEMY. Definitely not worth it!!!
