I noticed that only 5 of the 6 shirts I dropped off were handed over yet, the receipt was for 6. When I mentioned it to the clerk she stated that the count at drop off was a mistake on their part but, no offer to knock off the charge for the 6th shirt was made. Then came the excuses that the last one would be delivered on a different drop off, 3 days straight. The person I have dealt with from the start told me to call tomorrow, Sunday, which I was surprised by the claim and lo and behold, NOT open on Sunday. This is a true rip off. Second business in Alamo Heights with shoddy business practices. I expected more. Big mistake. Do NOT use this business unless you want to lose your money and time spent on trying to get satisfaction.

I took a very expensive Italian shirt in for dry cleaning. I had only worn the shirt twice. They some how managed to shrink the shirt two sizes. They said they would try to block the shirt and stretch it back out and pay for the shirt if it did not work. They blocked it twice with no improvements. Then the manager changed her mind and said they would not pay for the shirt. Will never use them again.

This was my first and will most certainly be my last time I ever come to this branch, or company for that matter. I spoke to George, the manager of this establishment, after he lost my items. Although, I must say I personally had to call him, rather than the other way around, because he did not want to answer his telephone nor speak to me until the next day to deal with the issue. I even had to go to the store and have his employee call him just to get in contact with him. I even saw that on Google one year ago and on Yelp a few years ago he left his own company a 5-star review, which not only do I think is an inaccurate evaluation but also shows a lack of proper business ethics. I hope when people read this review, see the proof in the photos Ive posted, and also see the other poor reviews for this business (which George claimed was rated five-stars on Yelp and other review sites -- again, a complete lie) that they know this is a place to avoid.

I brought in a pair of slacks for cleaning. I pointed out 3 stains. When they came back the stains remained. To their credit, they tried again at no charge. Still no change. A friend recommended an all natural cleaner which removed all the stains within a few minutes. I wasted my time and money. They are also one of the most expensive cleaners in the area. If they cant clean, I fail to see the point of using them.

LADIES IN THE 09 AREA CODE BEWARE!!Be careful taking your expensive purse or outfit to this cleaners as they have a history of losing items and then ignoring your call and THEN saying they tried to call you and finally donated them! George blames Michelle who blames Patti who blames George (for leaving things a mess) then she blames Lucy who is the District Manager who blamed the owner Paul Brown!I paid $54 to get a $360 handmade purse cleaned for my mother and this is the result!2017:AUG - The purse was taken to cleanersSEPT - call - Purse not ready yetDEC - call - Purse still not ready2018:JAN - My mother visited personally with receipt and man said he couldnt find it but would have manager (George) call. **No calls back after many attempts to reach George. Made an appt to see George who did not show. He said he would call her back on Tuesday on multiple occasions but never did.FEB - George called! Yay! My mother a very excited that they found her purse so she went in and he tried to give her the wrong purse!! Wasnt even close! He said the tag matched her receipt. Hmmmm - seems as though they mustve given HER beautiful handmade purse to someone else! He said he would make some calls.MAR - Left multiple messages for the manager to call. NOTHING!APR - Left more messages. NOTHING!MAY - Took in a copy of the receipt on two occasions and they took it and gave her a new ticket each time! Why? Probably to skew their paper trail.JUNE - Took in receipt two more times with the same outcome.JULY - Went in and found a NEW manager named Patti who knew nothing about it. My mother gave her a copy of the receipt with her name and phone number so she could get in touch with her. Patti said that George had really made a mess of things but she would check into it. Several weeks went by with no call.Went by again and she wasnt there so left her a message to call and never heard from her! (sound familiar?!)SEPT - Went by again and NO responseOCT - Went by again and Michelle said that she heard the manager say that they (the owner - as verified by Lucy) told her that they called my mother who never got back to them so they donated it and was not going to reimburse her!!!!DEC - I called and spoke with Patti who said she knew nothing about it and I should call Lucy, District Manager because she was the one who handled it. Lucy is quite confused about the timeline and first suggested that they have no records from Aug 2017 and 30 days later it was donated. I reminded her that the purse was lost and then found in Feb and we have waited for them to locate the correct purse since that time. She said they found it (but doesnt know when) and called multiple times (but doesnt know when) and held it for 30 days with no response! NOT TRUE!!! There was never a missed call from Slater White Cleaners nor a message about a recovered purse!Lucy said that an owner who is in charge of inventory called about the found purse. I asked how she knew calls were made and she said its noted in the computer but shes unable to take a screenshot of her computer or print out that page. Right!I told her I wanted the call log because they legally have to call and hold for a certain amount of time. She said, she would get to it later that she had other things to do.After a years worth of attempts to call and visits to the location (that is 30 minutes away), they are saying that my mother didnt call back and ignored the messages. I can assure you that is not true!! Slater White Cleaners has been around a long time, and sadly enough it is obvious that the new owners or managers do not have the integrity and customer service on which the business was built. You should be ashamed of yourself!!When you read this review - please tell others so they dont end up losing something of value! Also, read the other reviews - I wish we would have!Too bad ZERO STARS isnt an option!

Great customer service and responsive. The lockers are a huge help to pick up clothes after hours. I am sorry others have had our experiences.

They ruined my husbands favorite shirt and offered to give us in-store credit for the value of the shirt if we could produce a receipt. He bought it months ago - no receipt, no compensation - and we will not be back!

Poor customer service. Took all my uniform to be cleaned only for them to not to be returned on time. Had to wear regular clothes to work. Ive had many, many problems over the last year. Go elsewhere!!!

Such a rip off. Specifically showed where my blouses had stains, received my clothes...stains still there (plus more) and my white blouses are now a yellow tint. These blouses are $250+, how will you fix them? Will be in your store soon to speak with the manager.
