I couldnt believe it. First time I took 1/4 of my pants in, great service, decent price, and alterations done right. Second time was like I was in a completely different place. My order was half the size with less alterations and the same price. Normally when youre loyal to a place they respect that. Not this place. Its almost like they figured I had brought all my clothes in so they might as well gouge me while they could. They are right about one thing. I wont be back there.

Great quality work from professional staff. Everyone I met here was so polite and kind. I took my wedding dress here and they did an amazing job. Listened to exactly what I said and came up with amazing suggestions. Beautiful results. Highly recommended.

Couture Alterations is definitely one of the most professional places. My experience with both the owner and the seamstress (who does fittings) has been very pleasant. They are both very kind, and knowledgeable about different needs. Specifically for when the dress needs creative alteration solutions. Honestly their pricing is very fair based on their location and you’re also paying for the experience that they have and the trust you must have in order to leave your wedding dress in their hands. They are always trying to accommodate everyone’s needs, especially now that so many weddings have been changed because of the pandemic. I would 10/10 recommend this place to my engaged friends.

I’ve know about Couture Alterations for about three years now, and I’ve never been disappointed, the owners work really hard to make you feel at home, and their alterations are seamless! I follow them on Instagram and I can see many happy brides with their beautiful dresses. When I renew my vows I’ll definitely take my dress and my husband suit to them!!!

I can not say enough great things about Couture Alterations! My dress needed to be taken in, straps adjusted, cups put in, belt added, hemmed, and bustled. They also altered my mom’s veil and added a super meaningful blue heart to the lining of my dress to honor family members no longer with us. They did an incredible job and always explained what they thought would work best. They were also always kind and patient, even as my weight fluctuated post COVID! If you are needing alterations of any kind, go see them! You won’t regret it.

Honestly, I highly recommend Couture Alterations for their gown alterations. I needed them to alter my wedding dress with less than 24 hours in advance, and before walking into the store I thought it would be an impossible thing to do. Well to my VERY DELIGHTFUL SURPRISE, Aimeth, who is truly the nicest girl ever, worked with me to have my wedding dress ready for the next day! The task was not easy - the wedding dress needed to be reduced in size at the waist (by 2 sizes!) and they needed to adjust the height as well, all in less than 24 hours. But Aimeth and the other girls worked their super powers and made this bride very happy!! I AM SO THANKFUL to them for their super fast, and great service, and their shop is just so cute from the inside and outside, too, so youre sure to have a GREAT EXPERIENCE!

I love everything from the customer service to the quality of the work done on my dress, they did an amazing job! I brought in a last minute dress, a week before my event, the dress no longer fit me. I took it to Couture Alterations and they did magic, they had it ready that same week and the results were amazing! I am so thankful that they were able to help me at the last minute! When I had first walked in, I was approached and felt super rushed. They were talking really fast and I was just trying to gather information on pricing for my upcoming wedding. Their website/google had a few promotions, when I had asked about it they said they didn’t apply to altering a wedding dress. They rushed me into my dress and started pinning it up before I was even given prices. I went one time to pick it up, then it was uneven so they had to fix it and add another bustle. They didn’t charge to fix it and make it even. At first I was told I wasn’t going to be charged a rush fee because it was just hemming. When I asked about the promotion they said “well we are basically not charging you a rush fee. So you wouldn’t need the discount.” Also if you’re concerned about a mask, any time I walked in they weren’t wearing them, then had to scramble to put one on when I came in. The store was pretty clean, and the second time they fixed my dress it was okay, and done pretty quick. Besides being rushed and the back and forth on prices, overall it wasn’t a terrible experience. It was also well over $200 for a basic hem/bustle.Edit to add: they asked me to do a review and they would do the steaming for free. Also when I asked them about having to come in multiple times they said I shouldn’t have to since it was just a simple hemming.

I had my wedding dress altered here and it turned out beautifully! My dress had a lot of delicate detail and they took it in for a very affordable price. Lily and the rest of the staff was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond. Lily even wrote out instructions on how to fasten the bustle so my bridesmaids can help me on my wedding day! Couture Alterations saved my sanity as I was preparing for my wedding! God knows when you are the bride you have little to spare. I purchased a dress and had it altered elsewhere and the results were horrible, the dress didn’t fit as it was supposed to and resulted in me purchasing a whole other dress and taking it to Couture alterations to have it altered. The results were exactly what I was hoping for. Even tho I was freaking out, a little bit, they were very patient and understating, and the quality of their work was worth every penny!

I just went to the store today. I have not received the final product but I was so compelled to write a review because after being devastated with my previous tailor, who was not able to bring my vision to life for my wedding dress, I felt like it was never going to happen. I was defeated. I later came across Couture Alterations online and saw their amazing reviews and decided to get a second opinion. In just minutes, their team was able to use a simple photo and recreate exactly what I wanted. Whats best is that I didnt have to explain what I was looking and hope theyd understood, they directed me and I felt like I was working with true experts! Im confident the results will be just as amazing as the initial meeting. I cant wait to post my results and final review!

I had my bridesmaid dress altered here, the service was exceptional! The turn around time was very quick, the prices were very affordable and all the employees were so nice and professional! Experience with them was okay at first. While getting the alterations on my wedding gown I made a couple of comments on the bustle since it wasn’t flattering when it was pinned up. I was there for 45 minutes with them trying to figure out how to fix the situation, which we didn’t end up resolving. So I kept the dress as they altered it and left. ON THE DAY OF MY WEDDING the dress came apart on one of the side where they altered the dress within 3 hours of me wearing it! NO BRIDE should have to experience their dress coming apart on the day of their wedding from a horrible job. If that was the worst part of the night the other side they altered came apart and the shoulder work they did as well. Like seriously?!? Pretty much all the work they did came apart. Once the wedding was over I quickly sent them a DM through Instagram so they would know about the situation, since I did not want to get accused of lying. They quickly responded which is something I do appreciate, but when I walked in to take my dress to get fixed they literally wanted to only give me a small refund in a gift certificate. I do not know how they would think that I would take my business there again after everything that I went through. I went back and forth on the with the pricing they charged me because it wasn’t clearly stated on the invoice what they charge for each service. So I would advise that in further events they should itemized each price for each service so there is no confusion for their customers. They were so unprofessional towards the end of my service and I do not appreciate a business that does not take criticism easily. In lieu of the situation they would speak Spanish amongst themselves so I would not understand what they were discussing, but little did they know I understood everything they said. To act on how unprofessional they were, they blocked me on Instagram the day I took my dress back it to get fixed. I do know what kind of kick they got out of doing that but I guess to each business their own. So unprofessional and the service of their job on a detail and beaded dress was horrible. Would not recommend. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with the sweetest “hello!” I had my wedding dress altered here and each time I came to do my fittings I was greeted with a great smile! I had to do a rush order and they got it done on time. They did what I asked for, even added push-up cups to the inside of the dress cause I wanted a lift. Everyone is great here! You will be well taken care of. I’ll be coming back for future alterations!

The purpose of my visit to Couture Alterations was because they were highly recommended as a bridal alterations place. Little that I know that I would fall in love with each and every one of their staff members. I was always scheduled and taken care off on time. My dress was ALWAYS hanging in the fitting room waiting on me to spend the next 30 min or hour going on new details to fix until I was ready to take off with it. Their seamstresses are very careful and knowledgeable with what they do to the point where you feel like they did no alterations to the dress!! as soon as I was done I was prompted to schedule my next appointment with them for the next fitting until 100%approved. I am amazed by the hearts and hands of the people here! I will highly and proudly recommend them for your bridal needs or just little denim alterations. they are Amazing at customer service, they care for you and will go on and beyond to make you feel well taken care off. It was sad to have to say that I was 100% satisfied as I would not have to go back BUT I am happy to say that I found San Antonios most amazing place for clothe alterations!! HIGHLY recommended!!!

I was referred to Couture Alterations from the Bridal Galleria of Texas and they did such an amazing job with my alterations and the bustle for my wedding dress. Couture Alterations did SUCH a great job with my dress. Everything fit perfectly and everyone in the shop was so nice. They also altered my husbands suit. After alterations we done, he looked amazing and he loved his suit. He plans on wearing it again any time he needs a suit.
