Terrible service. Showed up 3 hrs later than expected. States on the phone it’s a $45 service charge that goes toward repair. Once he was out here , he decides that the $45 doesn’t go toward the repair. When I tried to speak to him about the charge he went OFF!!Check the pics for his professionalism.

We were having issues with our battery after the winter storm that rolled through Texas. We had replaced the battery on our own, but it wouldnt hold a charge and we feared the worst with the alternator. They quoted us a steep price because the part was on the expensive side. When they came out to look, they found that the bolts werent holding right on the battery, tightened them, and made sure our battery was working fine. Lo and behold, that was the only issue. They charged us strictly for the fee to come out and to reshelve the part, and all in all, it was hundreds of dollars cheaper than if they had just replaced the alternator and called it a day.Amazing, professional and incredibly helpful. Will use again.

I live in Ohio, my son has my car down there. He was having car issues and Art’s went out to replace an alternator that we thought was the problem. When he got there found it was a fuse issue on battery. Fixed the issue and didn’t lie about anything and we didn’t need an alternator. Very honest and my son will only be using this company from now on! Thanks so much for the honesty.....

Art showed up and I explained to him exactly what I had been doing in trying to solve my fuel issue- and rebuilding my throttle-body. He found that I hadnt tightened the screws enough and it was throwing gas. We got that sorted and she started right up, without having to buy/shop/find any other parts- whew! Once she was running, he realized all of the blowback from bad rings was cutting the o2 to the engine. But thats fine, she does run better now, and knowing exactly whats up is well worth the price. Ill take care of her, and run her into the ground, sell her to a scrap yard and move to Puerto Rico! Thanks Art- 100% recommended. Tell him Andrew sent you. :)

I found Art online. He was very knowledgeable. Went out of his way to come fix my car on a VERY HOT Sunday. Very professional and courteous. Did run 30 minutes late but texted me to let me know. Great communication. Diagnosed the problem right away and called around to find me the best price on parts. He even went to the auto parts store to pick the parts up for me. Priced VERY reasonably. Did a fantastic job and got me on my way. 5 stars are not enough. Telling all my friends about Art.

I was about to call this place because my alternator went out and it is under warranty. I just got off the phone with the insurance who will pay I just need to get it over there and I can with a jump, but Im at work right now so was going to do this after work. I read the reviews, but they are not that bad. What is bad is the owners response! my goodness you really dont hold back and all you say is paying customers and we help people who pay and chastise them for either not having money (I dont myself, but the insurance will pay 100% 2012 car) and checking about prices. Of course we check about prices! You do the same for anything you have done yourself, dont you?The responses from the owners are horrible. That leaves an impression and you just lost a customer and you would have been paid directly by the insurance @100%. But because of your horrible responses (no need to mention the sticker on the window, and send to a junkyard, really?) to customers really needs work. Good bye.

I found Art on line. After speaking to him on the phone I knew he was reliable. He called to let me know he was on his way. Arrived on time, ready to fix my problems. He finished the work and left my driveway as clean as it was when arrived. Art is a great guy and knows his stuff. I would recommend him to anyone needing auto repair.

This was the worst mechanic experience Ive ever had. 4 appointments and he only made 1. He was unwilling to maintain any schedule. Changed price on me without any real explanation. Just an awful experience. Save your money and time.Edit to respond to poor attitude owner: Art, cmon man youre a grown man why act like a child? Learn how to keep a schedule, take constructive criticism and be an adult. How could someone possibly go 4 years without registration? Why lie about that? Yes we did have 4 appointments and you just never showed up. I did pay you for the 1 appointment you did make so obviously I have money for repair. Grow up Art. I really feel like you can learn from this and not be an awful businessman. I hope you find your way!

Man Art is amazing. I had an electrical issue I had so many people trying to charge me anywhere from 80 to 150 just to look at my car. He gave me a great deal came as soon as possible. I felt bad he was in the hot sun and fixed my car very quick. Didnt break my wallet. A few days later i had a blinker issue he came down fixed it right away and gave me a great discount cause he was done super fast n found out the problem. He is very honest and will go out of his way for his customers. I will never go to anyone else in san antonio

Art has some bad business ethics,first of all he can rarely make it on time or scheduled day. He collected a fee for coming and looking at the truck, and scheduled it for repairs for a Friday @ 12:30. On Friday, he texted that he had some sort of helper problem and would have to be there on Saturday @ 12:30, he came at 1pm on Saturday and forgot some jack he needed he left and returned at 2pm. He came to do a job for a clutch and flywheel for the truck with a helper . It rained for about 15 minutes, he stopped and then continued when the rain stopped. The parts were brand new, he was not able to use the flywheel it seemed to be some sort of manufacture defect, this may have been possible, I really dont know. We came to an agreement about the extra time and work because the flywheel and starter did not fit together, he first mentioned maybe buying a new starter, I asked wouldnt the problem still exist if it was the wrong size to start. He then explained that he could not wait to see if we could go get the part at a different place. We agreed on a price at the end and he would take the old flywheel to get resurfaced it would cost me a little more for him to take it . We agreed if this was done the price was going to go up. We agreed on the day and the amount it would cost. He took the old flywheel leaving the new one in the truck, and the dismantled driveshaft. He texted me the day he was to return with the resurfaced flywheel that he would need to charge double because his helper quit . I asked for the flywheel back , he returned with the flywheel but did not want to give it back, he then called 911 when I went to get the flywheel from where he was showing it to me, he became very upset that I wanted the flywheel. We were going to allow him to finish the job, but he did not seem to want that flywheel out of his vehicle. The police came and We got the flywheel, he took his jack stands, and good riddance. I do not know what he was up to , but I would think twice before using this mechanic. The parts were recommended by Art himself. Wow.. his responses should tell you what type of business man Art is.

NEVER SHOWED UP!!! I set a appointment for Friday at 1 I waited till 2 never showed up or even called me to say he wouldnt be able to make it I called again the same day like 3 times no answer I finally let it go after my husband said stop calling he is not coming. You would think they would call you to a least reschedule. I wont be calling him again. I Never ONCE CANCEL WHY WOULD SOMEONE WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH SOMEONE WHO IS SO RUDE IN THE REVIEW RESPONSE!!!!! LAIR YOU DIDNT ANSWER YOUR PHONE NOT EVEN TO LET ME KNOW YOU WOULDNT BE COMING !!!!!!!!!!!! IF I DIDNT HAVE MONEY TO FIX MY CAR I WOULDNT HAVE CALLED YOU IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!!!!! I PAID ABOUT 1200$ CASH AND IT DIDNT HURT MY POCKETS SO IT WAS YOUR LOSS NOT MINE!!!!!!!
