Amazing fast service. I got a nail in my tire and did not know where to go to get it fixed. I decided to give this place a try and the young man that was working there today helped me out. I’m sorry I don’t remember his name but he helped me take the tire off, take the nail out and he was able to plug in the hole. All this was done in under 10 minutes of me arriving. Thank you!

I would highly recommend this tire shop. They stay busy but can get you in and out in a very reasonable time. I got there after the lunch rush hour, had 5 cars in front of me and still had some one come up and ask me what they could do for me. I had gone to other shops and they had a two hour wait time...I was very happy with the service and wait time. Great staff and service!

Juan is the man! He got my tires mounted and balanced in no time! No headaches or hassles. Just pay the money and have it done right the first time. Most shops won’t even touch wheels and tires this big (26” wheel on 40” tires) and if they do, you’ll pay 4x as much.Thanks Juan!

I’ve went here before for a hole in my tire and preferred going here and paying bc it was quicker than discount tire. Last week I had a nail in my tire again and went up there expecting the same service. The guy filled my tires and told me there was no hole based on the pressure of the tire. The next day I’m on my way to work and notice the tire pressure light on AGAIN. Obviously there’s a hole in my tire -_- He even had the nerve to ask for money which I gave him bc I thought he solved the issue… looks like I’ll just have to spend more time and go to discount tire next time. That way I’ll have the ability to leave with the assurance that what I need done is done.

These guys mounted my tires when no one else would touch them! Every other tire shop said “It can’t be done.” Martinez stretched my 12.5” tire out to a 14” wide wheel like it was no big deal!

Had to get new tires for my truck. As always went to Martinez Tire & Auto Center on O’Connor rd. They were super busy, but I was still only there for about half an hour.Effective teamwork and a boss that’s not afraid to get their hands dirty.

Be been here since 9:30, I’ve waited in total about 2 hours now being the first truck needed to be aligned, I was the only truck and person there for an alignment at 9:30 no one was there, I was not informed there would be a wait nor was I Informed to “drop off vehicle”workers just talks to coworkers and get distracted instead of getting the job done quick and easy, has my truck going up and down several times all for a basic alignment, horrible service, and I will in fact never being my truck here again.

Been going to Martinez Tire on OConnor since I moved here to San Antonio in 2014 and this is the first time Ive ever felt taken advantage of and disrespected. Took 2 tires to be unmounted at the West location during my lunch hour and they did a great job 20 minutes and out the door for 20 dollars. Went back next day to take the other 2 tires was there 20 minutes before closing maybe 1 person ahead of me and same gentleman that did work the first time said he couldnt do it they close at 7. No problem. I understand its late before closing no big deal. Decided to go to the one on OConner today because thats my regular spot and I was there 45 minutes before closing. Gentleman grabbed my tires unmounted quick maybe 15 minutes at most I was pleasantly surprised but he charged me 30 dollars. So I said the other martinez tire charged me only 20 he said idk about all that its 30 dollars. Thats cool I paid the money upset but paid. Now the disrespectful part, as I was walking away they started talking mess about me amongst each other in Spanish not knowing that Im fluent. I just turned around smiled and said I understood everything you said.Last time I will be using Martinez Tire and damn have some more respect for your people what a disgrace!

This Tire Shop Is The Worse Alot Of Guys working but no ond to help you ouy if you are Black Ive been to this location twice once my tire was low and needed air no one even looked my way or said a word well today didnt see any cars in the slot for Tires I had a flat and the same thing no one tried to help so i go to the desk and worker still didnt say a word I asked can I get air he said 15 minutes but plenty employees so if you black you will get no service customer service is horrible never again.

I went to the shop after being referred by someone I know and had them remove a some cats from my truck, they told me that it would cost 200 dollars and it would be done in a couple hours so i left and went home on the way home i called the shop up and told them that i also wanted to keep them they told me that they were empty But I know they were because I just got done taking it to the Chevy dealer and have proof of that they were clogged up and not empty then one of the Hispanic gentleman that i was talking to tell me He dont speak English and that he dont understand it when we when we were talking already (so i think he is playing games and flat out lying to me} so i think they need to would on not stealing my used truck parts and there Customer serviceNow the good i did look at the work that the guy did to my truck and the welds look good and i am happy with that but i will never go back to this shop this my first and only time ill go to this shop!!!! back to my normal place i take my stuff to Across town where i can tust the people working on my stuff....

Garbage service, extremely over priced. Must be a trend as there are many other reviews citing the same problems with this shop. Charged $65 to do absolutely nothing. Got tire fixed down the road for half the cost. Which is the going rate everywhere else in SA. Beware dont stop here unless you wanna get ripped off.

On May 12th 2021, I took my daughters tire to Martinez. They said it couldnt be fixed and sold me a used tire. By the end of the day the tire Martinez sold me was going flat. We aired it up and by this morning the 13th of May, it was flat. Took it back to Martinez this morning and they replaced the tire free of charge. We are not sure how the tire got punctured on the sidewall. No matter cause Martinez said right away. We give you another one! Thanks Martinez 😊

I got a flat on the freeway just down the street from Martinez Tire. I called them first to confirm they had my tire size in stock and then slowly rolled over to get it replaced. When I arrived they inspected it and discovered there was a screw dead center in my rear left tire. They removed the tire, patched the hole, replaced the valve stem, reinstalled my repaired tire, and then adjusted the tire pressure on all my tires... all for $20. I highly recommend!!

Apparently you have to be a female to get decent sevice. Had a girl up and out in 5 mins and she showed up after me. Been here 20 to get a tire patched

Martinez is always efficient and reasonably priced. It can get quite busy but we were in and out and back to our day in 30 minutes.

Visited to get my tire replaced. I told the gentleman that I need a new tire, used if youve got it. When the tire was installed and I was charged $100, I figured they didnt have any used tires. I drove about three miles on it, then called soon after to see if I could get the tire swapped but was told that I did not ask for a used tire and that I should have told him I didnt like the price before I left for the tire to be swapped. Ladies, bring your dad, husband, or boyfriend if you dont want to be taken advantage of. Im the worst kind of idiot for having any trust in mechanics.

Very fast tire repair this morning

I had a flat tire. The shop told me it could not be plugged or fix to make it to work. (I work at two rivers. Literally down the road. ) a new tire was 65 dollars. I paid for a new tire got to work. FLAT. ALL THEY DID was plugged my tire and turned it around. Rude!! And so messed up. Dont waste your money on this shop. They are already scamming people.

This shop is a class act the whole way. Already gave a review awhile back with 5 stars because they went out of their way to help me with a spare tire. But I feel like theyre due another, They actually deserve about a 10 star rating.This is what happened, 2 years ago I bought a Dodge Ram sittin on some 35x12.50r20. The day I bought the truck I noticed there was a wobble in one of the rims. I figured no big deal Ill buy a new rim, I really like the truck OK. Well they discontinued those rims that year. I couldnt find them anywhere so instead of buying $1500 worth of rims I figure Ill wait for the tires to go. I took it to the other yellow building that Ive been going to for years since before they owned the whole block on Nacodoches and they could not balance the Rim at all, they tried a couple times. I Think the wobble actually got worse. Well my job was right around the corner so I never had to go far, no big deal I lived with.Jump to a couple of days ago time for new tires. Took it back to Martinez because they were so awesome with me on the spare. And come to find out I didnt have a bent rim at all. I was bouncing around, everybody been bouncing around for 2 years in my truck for no reason at all. These guys are pros you should do all your business with Martinez.Oh and my new used tires were a great price and they got more tread than when I bought the truck. PROS.tl;drThese guys go above and beyond to help, they have better prices, AND are better at their jobs than the other local companies.

Came to get my oil changed and the mechanic forgot to put the cap back on and had me riding around with oil splashed everywhere under the hood for a day.

Took quite a while but extremely helpful, my car broke down, they helped me push it to where it needed to be and even had time to give it a look and consulted me on what I needed. I didn’t spend anything which was great but I’ll definitely be tipping when I return with the parts to fix my car.

Oct 16: 5 out of 7 people not wearing masks, even around customers. Ive had good service here before. The manager acted like he was angry. Do you have a water fountain? NO, he finally said after asking him three times. He walked around like he owned the place but didnt know how to talk right with customers; so I know he didnt own the place. The business couldnt have gotten off the ground with his attitude. I tool a dolly there with large tires. Waited in my truck for thirty minutes. Finally went back into the garage where the dolly was, unattended. No one knew anything. Then someone came up and said, Oh, it has too many holes in it. We cant fix it. Ended up doing it myself.

Was in the right place at the right time my tire started going flat. I was in and out in about 10 minutes.

To pricey for what they do tires maybe good but alignment service not that good for the price other places have better service at less cost...

Bought this tire 45 days ago. Granted it was used however, its a top brand that had adequate tread remaining. Both tires I bought on this visit have separated and bubbled. This one blewout while travelling 80mph on the highway. In the past 10 -12 years Ive purchased 40-50 tires from Juan & Jesus and they always replaced (warranty or no warranty) ANY TIRE THAT CAME APART LIKE THIS. Its obvious to me that Juan Jr doesnt care to offer that same type of service. The type that keeps people coming back for decades. Well Junior, youve just alienated and lost a good, loyal customer over what $25 - $30!?!? After the $1000s Ive spent with your dad & uncle over the years, thats pretty sad!!!

If i could i would give this company 0 stars!i will NEVER be returning to Martinez ever again. My Family has been going there for years and thankfully they never had a problem but starting last year i started having problems with my tires and i replaced it and everything was fine after since i went somewhere else to get it fixed and told me there was a nail in the sidewall. then i go back in august and it happened the same exact thing in the same place and tire so i got back this past week since the climate was changing and the tires needed a little air and it happened once again but WORSE the tire was at 10 psi which has never been that low so i called and talked to the supervisor and he was very rude and told them my kids safety is at risk and said he could care less and said the tire needed to get replaced and said he will not do it at no charge even though they were at fault and put me at fault! worst service EVER and will not be going back.

I have used this shops services for as long as I can remember. Mostly for tire repair. Ive had them install a new alternator in my jeep about a year ago and they did an excellent job within a couple of hours. I recently had them install new brake shoes and rotors. Mechanic got started almost immediately. I went to eat and came back and they were done. Again, a job well done. I like that they give me a straight labor price and stick to it. It is nice to buy your own parts to know that you are getting quality parts. Other shops wanted to charge me almost double of what I paid in total with parts and labor. I will be back of course.

Took my 2012 Tacoma truck to get a tire rotation and balance about two weeks ago. I notice a couple of days ago it was missing a cap and one of my tire lug nuts. I drove from New Braunfels Tx to ask for the person in charge he sent someone else to deal with me but I didnt get any resolution on what they did wrong. An employee told me I dont know where you left them and I responded by saying I wasnt the one that pulled the tires off the truck you guys were paid to get the job done right. I guess the owner prefers to give this kind of service. Good luck with them

Do NOT use these guys! Scams and unsafe!I just went there because my dash said low tire pressure. They checked my sensors, said nothing was wrong, removed my front tire, put it back on and charged my dad 20 bucks. For what? My car still said low tire pressure. They didnt actually fix anything.I immediately drove to Sams Club. It turns out, 2 of my sensors are bad AND the tire these guys touched was set to 53 pounds of air pressure. 53. 53! My tires are supposed to be set to 33. They messed with it and didnt even set it back to the correct pressure.So. They didnt fix anything, gave me wrong information, overinflated my front tire to a dangerous level, and then charged my ELDERLY dad for their incompetence.I dont appreciate anything that just happened and for a family owned business...SHAME ON YOU! You wouldnt want someone scamming your dad. And you wouldnt over-inflate your own vehicle tires so why did you think it was okay to do in this case?Weve been customers for at least 3 years. But after today I will be sure to let everyone I know not to use this family business.

Wouldnt trade a semi new tire and rim I was using that didnt fit my vehicle for a used tire only that would fit the rim I was providing. Would only sell me a tire and walked away during our conversation. (MANAGER) I was almost out of gas after trying every other tire center who was er either out of my size or just wouldnt help. Yes I know its a business. But the rudeness of the situation never needed to be. If you dont trade say that. Dont come out to my vehicle like you might and then just be rude to a customer who has bought some of your used tires in the past on other vehicles.

Martinez tire shop is a great shop i took a family members tire there a couple days ago and got to speak to one of the owners and told him the situation with my Mercedes Benz and i went in today cause discount tire messed up on my tires and the owner remembered me and my car and took care of my needs . For any tire needs I’d 10/10 suggest Martinez tire shop they have state of the art equipment and are professional and get it done in a timely manner.

I have given this place 3 tries because it couldve been just a bad day or very busy. But after today I wont be returning. I wanted to try this place out cause its not far from my house and my current mechanic is kinda far. So if this worked out it wouldve been great. BUT, each time I have been here I have had to figure out who I need to talk to because you cant tell. In fact, while I was there for just a few minutes someone asked me if I worked there. Its feels very unwelcoming and definitely not friendly. Ill drive to a different city to get work done before I ever go back here. And then I read the other reviews and learn that this is a family business...thats so disappointing.

I had a 3- inch framing nail in my rear passenger tire at almost 7PM. Walmart Auto Service said they, Could not repair it, but they had new tires that I could buy. Yeah, I bet....crooks.I went back to Martinez Tire & Auto where I bought my tires in the first place. The man repaired my tire properly and had it mounted back on my vehicle within 10 minutes without even waking my daughter who was sleeping in the front seat. Dropped off a tire for our work truck. Returned in 2 hours and they didnt even touch the tire. Then they exclaim that there was no hole, yet the tire was half flat. It took them an additional 45 minutes to repair 1 tire with a nail. I will not be returning here AT ALL

Go at your own risk . Went for a tire change . Was charged 45$ For a used tire 2$ for tax and a disposable fee for 2$ .to recycle the old tire....( took the old tire with me ). It’s not about the money but charging for things I don’t get charged for at other tire shops bothered me . .Went because of the ratings left very unhappy.... as if that wasn’t enough The guy gave me a price then when it was time to pay he changes to a higher price and then has the nerve to tell me there’s a 15$ fee to put back the old tire.If I could give no stars I would..... Patched my tire today quickly and for a good price, also topped up my other tires with air. Had an alignment issue a few months before that on my other car, they did a realignment and found a bolt had come loose! It was fixed saving me thousands! Great job guys
