Was only in for emissions, but was done in a timely manner; and saved me a trip and wait at the DMV, as I got my new sticker right then. The front end person, Kat, is very nice, very friendly.

Si is honest and legit. Not only did we use him for 10 years on all of our company vehicles, many of our employees use him for their personal vehicles. He alway let us know what the issues were with our vehicles and let us decide if it was worth it to do the repair. Si was always fair and he has a customer for life. I have and continue refer friends and family to Sis auto.

Edit: I talked to the business again and they took extra steps to fix the problem and make sure I had a good experience. For me this turned a 1 star review to a 5 star review, as they do seem like a great place to go for repairs.Original Review:The original repair was done quickly for a normal price, but they also replaced a belt without asking, and never called me because my number was wrong. I get that it wasnt possible to contact me, but a mechanic should NEVER just tack on extra repairs and expect to charge for them, even if they think the repair is needed. Its dishonest.

I moved here to Utah about a year and a half ago. And when my car has problems, sometimes its hard to find a reputable mechanic nearby. When I found Sis Auto, he was honest and upfront with me on what the problems is and whether the part is worth fixing or not to save you money and time, as well as looking out for your own safety. If you have car problems, Sis auto is that Hole in the Wall place you been looking for but for your car repair and maintenance.

I have gone to so many other shops to get my car fixed and they never worked out because they couldn’t seem to find why my check engine light was on, so I stopped into this shop and Si said he can do it and pinpointed the problem and that was it he fixed up my baby. Got my jeep inspected and tags and I go here every year. Si is very friendly and cares about his customers asks how you are doing and makes sure its a enjoyable experience and never to long a wait. I will continue to go to sis auto shop as long as I have a car.

SI was really an angel to us. Not only he analyzed the issue with our motorhome fast, he was also extremely friendly, helpful and honest. We had to wait for a part and he let us camp with our RV in front of his workshop, with water & electricity hookup. In the end, he fixed our issue fast and very professional. If you need a Subaru mechanic in Salt Lake, Si (See) is your guy. Hes been really helpful to make sure that my cars are running and registered, and my questions are answered.I usually do most of my own work on my cars, but any big jobs I trust to Si.

My son and girlfriend took their car to Sis auto repair and Si was amazing!! They had brake fluid leaking and he replaced the hose and flushed the brake system for a great price!!!!! I highly recommend Sis auto because they are Honest and Affordable!! We will definitely be back! Thanks Si! :-)

We were in the area looking into buying a car in the area. We called the closest shop so we could get the car checked out and it happened to be them. We got there and asked them how much just a basic check would be and they said they would do it for FREE! What?!? What great people! They lifted it up and checked everything out and ran codes. Sis is a great auto repair shop. I have had three different brand cars in there and they have always been able to find the issue and get it fixed for much less than the dealer quoted me.

This is a great shop, very friendly service. This is the only shop I trust to work on my vehicles, if I cant do it myself. It is nice to talk with the actual mechanic working on the vehicle; and not a front office salesman like in the big chain shops.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SIS AUTO REPAIR AT ALL. Si is the worst person to deal with, very unprofessional and in my opinion a scam artist and here is why....I did a big illuminated sign for him and we traded some work in exchange for the sign. When all was said and done he got a $3500 sign and I got $300 worth of parts. I hounded him for an invoice for 5 years (yes 5 years). When I finally got the invoice and checked the work he did on my Bronco II I noticed everything on the invoice was not done at all or not done correctly. One of the things he did was replace my gas tank and fuel pump but for some reason my fuel gauge (that worked before) didnt work after his replacement and the fuel tank he put in was hanging there by one single bolt (which he forget to bolt back up). I had to redo the work MYSELF that I paid him to do in the first place and this was with all the work I paid him for...If you are looking for mechanic work go somewhere, you will thank me!

Sis the best - full stop. Stumbled upon his place back in 2012 and keep coming back for ALL my auto service needs ever since. He could give Scotty (from Star Trek) a challenge for the title of Miracle Worker.

Si has done all my car repairs for the last 6 years or so. I have lots of work done since Im in the transportation business and have a number of vehicles. I have referred family members as well as employees and friends to Si and will continue to do so. Si is honest and fair and Im happy to know him

Do NOT buy a car from Si and do NOT bring your car here for service!!!We purchased a car from Si 3 days ago and have had an AWFUL experience! He said that he had performed a long list of maintenance on the car, but would not provide receipts for us as proof. He performed saftey and emissions on the car and we ended up buying it (which was a major mistake!!) and have had issues ever since.The check engine light turned on 2 miles after leaving the shop and he would not return our calls. Once we FINALLY were able to get ahold of him, he said he would not fix it and it wasnt his problem. Then we found out there was a major exhaust leak, which would have failed the emissions, but he passed it illegally because hes a crook.Today the car completely broke down on us and when we tried to talk to him about what was going on, he hung up on us.We purchased this car 3 days ago and all of this has happened since then. Who knows what else he hid and lied about.Stay FAR FAR away from Si and his shop!!

I highly recommend not to use this shop, very poor service and even worse customers service. I bought a vehicle from c and r motor and si did the inspections which should have failed. I pointed out multiple thing wrong with the vehicle. I had to contact high patrol for them to fixed what they blatantly didnt catch.

Got a Radiator put in there n today I opened the hood n they forgot to tighten 9 bolts...they were just finger tight plus the cap was stripped ...went back they tightened up the bolts but just wondering how this could be overlooked ...not sure
