Such an amazing, surreal, cool place to live!Great access to downtown and midtown, as well as West Sacramento, all with the quirky vibe of living in Old Sacramento. A bit of Westworld in modern-day California, but in a very good way!Recent upgrades – hardwood-style ceramic-tile flooring, a fitness center, an updated laundry room – make the Clarendon House really a lovely spot to call home. Toni, the building manager, is thoughtful, prompt, friendly, and very helpful. Such a gem. There is some freeway noise and occasional evening noise from the restaurants and bars in Old Sacramento – primarily on Friday and Saturday nights, and Sunday afternoons – but the noise doesnt disturb me or my dog. The apartments are well insulated and we dont hear too much inside.

Great area to live in. Right in the heart of Old Sacramento. Close to shopping and restaurants. Manager was always responsive to requests, easy to talk to. Amenities were very useful such as elevator and laundry room. Patio area was great to sit out and meet neighbors. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to live.

I would highly recommend this place!!! Perfect location, clean, no drama with the neighbors, all the amenities that you would want are included and the property mgr, Brandon, is always professional and dealt with any issues I had (which were minimal) in a timely manner without any inconvenience to my daily schedule. Unfortunately, I had to move because of work but it was such a great place to live that if I ever get the opportunity to move back I definitely would!!!

Hands down great place to call home. Brandon is always friendly and helpful when needed. He just had inside painted and looks so nice. I live on top floor facing Joes Crabshack and have so much fun just people watching. You never hear your neighbors, walls are very thick and stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter. This place is very pet friendly and walking your dogs around Old Sacramento is always an adventure with meeting tourist and dog lovers. Utilities are very low, after 17 months living there I have barely used my AC/Heater. Many of the stores in Old Sac will also give you resident discount, just have to ask. It is so nice to live so close and in walking distance to so many parks, river, events, restaurants and now the new Kings Stadium! Cant say enough good things about Brandon and living at The Clarendon House!!!

I lived in Clarendon in 2017. It was a great place to live right out of college. The river, downtown, Rivercats stadium, local bars, etc. There was always something to do. Daniel (property manager) was always available when I needed something fixed or looked at. It was a bummer to leave, but wanted to get into a house to avoid the parking trouble.

I used to be a tenant here and this was by far the cutest place to live! Not only is the location in the heart of old Sacramento. But living here was the best experience! I still wish I never moved! This place has very excessible living with great amenities such as washer/ dryer. Cute shady courtyard area with a running fountain (making sleeping that much more enjoyable). The elevator is so useful especially with lots of groceries to carry in. And the place is extremely CLEAN! Cleaniness is my number one priority anywhere I go. The property manger did a great job with keeping the place nice and tidy, consistently! I recommend Clarendon housing to anyone that loves a great looking clean place to live. 👍👍👍👍👍

Interior and exterior is badly in need of restoration, typical apartment community, mostly good people but definitely a few less than desirable people, management seems decent.. Parking sucks even if you have a garage pass.
