Very nice location , but the lack of “ visible security “ can discourage new tenants. With a homeless encampment on the other side of the south-western wall , transient traffic has become a late night concern. In closing, I want to thank the “ always professional “ staff for truly being the example.

The staff is excellent. The grounds are kept up to the best of their ability. Some neighbors don’t pick up after their pets. But the property is still amazing.

I’m very concerned with the loosing of several copies of my key, every time I request maintenance. And then get ask if I know who came out to my apartment to service a request?’ I even have an alarm now for safety because it happened before. Now again they enter with yet no key again. I had to rush frommy job to come disarmand leave door open. I had to AGAIN give them my keys to go cut ANOTHER key, just for them to disconnect my camera from the internet. I’m praying my key is not again in someone else hands. Especially when I cannot prove who enters my place. Safety is my right. The staff instead get into a back and forth email provoking my concerns and management have yet addressed my question: what is happening to my key to my appointment?

I’m in my third year here and thankfully I’ve had quiet neighbors who have always been pleasant to me. I’ve had a couple maintenance issues and staff always respond within a couple hours and get them fixed promptly. Property is well kept and clean, just wish COVID would go away so we could use the gym. I have a friend who has lived here twice as long as I have and she plans on staying. I’m proud to tell people where I live. It’s a nice, clean place to call home for good people.

By far the worst complex I lived in the maintenance man always had something rude to say than when I didn’t want to sign another year lease they want to charge 2,550 for month to month for a 2/2 apartment definitely need some things resolved in management because they are definitely taking advantage of people now!!

I have been here for 3 years now and love that this is my home. The complex is well maintained and some of the new upgrades theyve done (such as the package concierge) are awesome. The staff are all very accommodating and friendly (including the people that other reviewers slandered...I have never had a negative experience with anyone). The community and my neighbors are excellent. I feel safe and secure here and the complex is aesthetically beautiful with the landscaping.Sycamore Terrace has it all. A great complex and staff, thats always improving. A great community with a multitude of spectacular amenities, safe and secure. I look forward to being here as long as I can and highly recommend Sycamore Terrace to anyone looking to live in a community and complex that is always striving to get better and is always taking care of the property and its tenants. Most of all it is a place that is beautiful and most of all safe.

Ive lived in this complex for the last 8 years and It is a great place to call home. The employees are friendly and always remember me by name. All maintenance requests are completed within a 24 hour period the maintenance people are always thorough and friendly. There are some stray cats running around here and there but that is my biggest complaint and I have seen some waste from other peoples pets that they didnt clean up but I have a dog and am glad I found a place where she is welcome to live with me. And the mess from other peoples pets usually gets cleaned up when the landscapers roll through (at least once a week) so it doesnt bother me to much. The parking is open and the apartments are spacious and have a laundry room in them. The grounds are well maintained and there is a playground for people with kids. The neighbors are generally quiet and it is nice and quiet in the evenings. The rent is a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. I would recommend this place to anyone!

By far the best apartment complex I’ve experienced in Sacramento. Moved here in August of 2017 and I haven’t had any major issues thus far. The leasing office staff is always friendly and super helpful. Several great amenities are offered and one of the BIGGEST pros is that I never have to struggle with finding a parking spot for myself or any guests that stop by. Not to mention the washer/dryer within the unit. I couldn’t ask for a better complex.

Security here is bad!! The management is awful and fake. They do nothing to help. They say they will address my concerns with a very LOUD neighbor and “would never tolerate that noise” but after complaining 6 times over a three month period of nightly banging around, they say it’s a process. I’m outta here.

This property is good until you decide to move out. They charge you 2 month worth of rent after you move out for breaking the lease, plus the water bills are always 3 months behind. So you end up paying bills for these apartments for another 3 months after you move out. They say one thing when you sign the contract, then flip it on you when you move out. I had my sister and best friend move in to these apartments, both had issues after move out.

Been here about 6 months now. No problems with security, staff is very friendly and remember you personally, neighbors are friendly, very quite most nights. Also, the apartments are ridiculously well insulated (inside units); we have yet to run the heater this winter.

Love this place. Maintenance is quick, and the facility is always clean . The only bad thing about this place is upper Management. The main manager Janea is not kind, friendly or welcoming, she never has a smile and walks around like she has a problem with you. Her assistant that has now moved to another sister property was also rude. They use to have a girl named Nicole who we LOVED because she was always so helpful and knowledgeable. Walked around with a happy attitude but she left and got replaced with Jennifer who doesnt carry a good persona, never smiles, and seems to have an issue with anything you ask her. Half the time she tells us to come back during the week because she cant get it done. Luckily Hector came back, he is super nice, friendly and HELPFUL!

Lizeths description of the employees are on point and I couldnt agree more. My gf and I lived here for a year. Stayed low key. No complaints. Informed maintenance of problems like broken water hoses around the complex. I even tried to be friendly and gave them Christmas presents. Looks nice from the outside. Employees are just as Lizeth described.Had my car window smashed one night.. Inside, the grill was broken for about 2 months...the jacuzzi was broken before that for a long time. The computer was never functional. I never really got to use the printer until about a month ago because the paper was never filled or there was no ink. Some people living in the complex never picks up after their pets. The back gate that is supposed to be closed was broken for half the year and anyone could have forced it open, which I saw happen several times from someone living in the complex.Prior to moving out, we received a letter reminding us to let them know 60 days before or we could renew the lease for an extra $170 a month (rent was $1404 for 2/2). Unfortunately, we forgot. The first courtesy reminder came a week before our schedule move out date (when we already found a new place and nearly completely moved out of the apartment). Jennifer said she tried both numbers and left numerous voicemails, but for some reason we only received one miss call and voicemail. Were not bitter or anything (maybe a little. OK. Its pretty upsetting) but its frustrating know that they really made no other attempts to be human beings. It really is all business and we were tricked into paying rent + plus an extra $300 for month to month rate for something that couldve easily been avoided.

Very Nice place to live. No complains for two years I lived there, but before I was suppose to move out they scheduled me to have a pre inspection done for my apartment. They did not send anyone to come to do a pre inspection and I ended up moving out without a pre inspection being done. A week later I received this bill for $800+. $800 the charges due to supposed damage to property. Had I had my pre inspection I am confident that I would have been able to rectify any issues.
