We were introduced to Seven Star through Bluebonnet School of Cedar Park, where they offer classes. My son (4 years old) loves it, and he talks to us about the important concepts he learns like patience and focus. Jeff is simply amazing with the kids, and they adore him. My son was having so much fun with it, I decided to try classes (currently being offered via zoom due to the pandemic), and I love it too! All of the instructors I have worked with are fantastic, and they make really tough workouts enjoyable while patiently working through the forms. I highly recommend them for adults and kids!

7 Star is exceptional training for all ages. We have been virtual since March and the instructors have been just as engaged and precise as they are with kids in class.

I started classes with my eldest many years ago and loved it so much I eventually became an instructor. The traditional style the school teaches is truly amazing. I love the journey with the students so much; watching them become confident, strong individuals. The emphasis on empowering our students to become leaders is such a wonderful and real thing in this school. I count myself lucky to have found them.

Started my Kung Fu Training 2 1/2 years ago and since I have been a student as well as an instructor, Ive been able to maintain a high level of fitness and increase my Combat Skills from good to GREAT! Its an honor to teach Praying Mantis Kung Fu because it makes you better as a practitioner, but also as a person/coach. Looking forward to becoming the best version of myself! :)

My kids started with Seven Star martial arts as part of their program at their day care. We have since started going to classes at their main building. Both experiences have been great and my son and daughter enjoy it and have learned both physical and character building skills. The instructors are all so good and patient with the younger kids (my daughter is 4) and the older students alike. Great place!

We are so thankful to have found Seven Star Martial Arts! We have three kids enrolled and they practically drag us out the door for each lesson. The kids recently got into sparring and we cant believe how much fun they have. The instructors truly care about the kids and their passion for teaching is refreshing.

I have been going to Seven Star Martial Arts kick boxing fitness class for a number of months now. The place has a great family friendly environment with trained fitness motivated instructors. I love the place!

Our son has been training with Seven Star Martial Arts for a few months now and we are very happy with the experience. The instructors are energetic and definitely make class an engaging experience for their students. We plan on sending our daughter once she is old enough and definitely recommend Seven Star!

Very few places offer classes for 3yo. This is one of them. The special offer was great for determining whether my little one would enjoy this activity and be disciplined enough for the classes.There was no high pressure sales tactics to get us to join immediately either. The teachers were very clear that the purpose of the special offer was to give us an opportunity to determine whether this activity was right for our kid. We were allowed to experience everything completely before committing.Owing partly to her desire to be a superhero and partly to the great (and immensely patient) teachers, my little one has excelled. This is a great place for children to learn Kung Fu and the price is competitive.

This place is great for teaching discipline, as well as a source of learning, exercise and FUN! Im so glad my son is a part of Seven Star Martial Arts!

I have been coming here since i was 8 years old, and it has been such a fun experience to come here. I had always been introverted and scared of the outside world when i was little, but learning and understanding Kung Fu took away this fear and has made me a lot more confident. I still come here when I can and love that you can exercise here, but can also have an enjoyable experience simultaneously.

My son really loves going to kung fu. He loves learning the new moves and now enjoys sparring. As a parent I am impressed with the kind yet firm way the instructors are with the kids. I do believe it has given my son more confidence, but I also like seeing him learn about what it takes to accomplish a long term goal. From putting extra time in to practice at home to the little failures he has had on testing days, where he has had to learn to control his emotions and not give up, review what he is being tested on, and trying again. One of the many lessons the kids are learning that will last them a lifetime.

Jeff is brilliant with children. My son just started Kung Fu Kids a few weeks ago and I can already see a huge improvement at home.

My oldest son really enjoys his Kung Fu classes! I feel the instructors have gone above and beyond to find the best fit of class level for him and I appreciate they have truly gotten to know him and challenge him. I also love the sense of community felt at Seven Star.

I came as a free lesson for a month winner, and never looked back. That was two years ago. This has been a life-changing experience, and I would recommend this to anyone who is interested interested in the martial arts.

This has been my second home for quite some time now all the instructors are terrific and i cant imagine my life without them theyhave helped me so much and have changed my perspectives on life so many times they have taken me in and called me family the minute i joined they are worth more then any other martial arts and are better in every single way give them a try

My 1st impression of Seven Star Martial Arts at Stepping Stone was so favorable I planned on signing my son up when he was older. However it was my daughter who asked to join! After 4 years of hard work, discipline and determination, under the watchful eye of the amazing instructors, both children attained rank of Black Belt last week! Kung Fu has meant more to my children than any other activity theyre involved in. The reason being the family environment the school maintains. It is obvious the instructors genuinely care for their students. My son has ambitions to be the next Sifu! You will not find a better fit for your family than Seven Star Martial Arts!

Ive been studying at seven star for almost three years and am very pleased with it. The instructors are great and the Kung fu is fun and hard.

We have both our kids learning Kung Fu here. We have always felt like a big KungFu family with the teachers, students and the parents.

I started with Seven Star about 1.5 years ago with two weeks of free classes. I just wanted to do something to get into shape since I was about to enter the darkness of my Fifties. No regrets. Best thing I could have done. I lost 13 pounds in the first several months of classes. My flexibility is greatly improved, I have better balance, and I gained greater core strength. The instructors know their kung fu (specifically, their Northern Praying Mantis Seven Star sect kung fu) and really care about their students. It aint easy, but it is definitely rewarding.

I love having to spend my time there. I am a brown belt and I have had several times been there since the 3rd grade from daycare. But, the idea of all the classes together would probably be a bad idea.1:too crowded2:It would probably too challenging for some younglings in other classes.It is fun to be with my Kung Fu brothers and sisters, and it is a great experience. My son has been a part of Seven Star Martial Arts since he was 3 years old. He started at Stepping Stone in the Little Dragons program with Jou Gou Remster in 2011. When he moved out of the Little Dragons program I joined and started to do Kungfu with him. It has been a great experience that we both share together, plus we are staying active and learning important self-defense skill. Now we are both working on getting our black belts! Martial arts has been a catalyst for my sons growth and coordination and it is keeping me active and going strong.My son participates in basketball and lacrosse as well. Kungfu has helped with his hand-eye coordination, balance and endurance. He is poised to be a well-rounded athlete as a result. We couldnt be happier with Seven Star and their instructors.

My children began taking lessons with Jeff Remster, the instructor and owner of Seven Star Martial Arts, when they were just 2.5 years old. They began taking lessons once per week while attending pre-school at Stepping Stone Teravista. My wife and I ultimately decided to switch our children to a Primrose School and assumed our children might continue lessons elsewhere later or simply pursue a different interest. However, sometime after the transition, Jeff called me directly and asked me if I would consider enrolling my children directly in an evening or weekend course. I am delighted to say that (several kung fu belts later ) we took him up on the offer.This simple act might seem inconsequential to some, but I know this was my first opportunity to observe Jeffs attention to detail and sincere desire to help children develop and reach their full potential. I am happy to say that my family now considers itself part of the kung fu family at Seven Star Martial Arts. And, by the way, I am no longer just a parent of kung fu students, but was so impressed that I became a student too!

My children started with Jou Gou Remster at Stepping Stone nearly 5 years ago. We were so happy with the outstanding way he managed to handle a bunch of 3-9 year olds and actually teach them a lot of basic Kung Fu, that we decided to move our daughter up to Seven Stars advanced classes to progress her training. The entire staff at Seven Star is incredible the way they give so much attention to the students. Herding cats is no easy task, and these instructors do it like pros! The students are taught at a pace they can handle the multiple movements covered during each 3-4 month segment, yet they are challenged to push themselves to work and study outside of class as well. Dedication, motivation, respect, and integrity are core foundations of this school and it shows in the instructors and the students they teach. We are hopeful that our daughter continues to train with this staff once she earns her black belt, she has two more promotions to go before she can test for it. Ive watched some of the black belt classes as well and am amazed at the things they are taught from these incredible martial artists! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to all of our children!

Seven Star Martial Arts has made a huge difference in my kids confidence! My oldest started 8 years ago (at Kung Fu Kids) but took a little break due to scheduling conflicts once she started elementary school, during the break we noticed her struggling quite a bit in school. One of the few things we did to get her back on track was enroll her into Martial Arts at Seven Star and she had an amazing turn around with confidence, motivation, and discipline that has positively effected her in so many ways. Not only is SiFu and all the JouGows amazing, the other students in the class are respectful and quick to help build each other up. Since then my son started in the black belt club and my youngest with Kung Fu Kids! We love our Kung Fu Family and truly greatful for all of the amazing things that they have helped my kids accomplish.

Kung Fu has given my son confidence in a world he would otherwise be frightened in. He was very very timid upon the start of classes and all of the instructors have made him a better kid. He knows how to defend himself and he has learned valuable life lessons from the teachers. I couldnt be more proud to be a Kung Fu mom with Seven Star.

Personally I didnt want to do Kung Fu but after my son begged me that this was what he wanted to do I signed up. I have been training now for 8 months and I can tell you that this place is my 2nd home. The instructors are awesome with the way they teach and how they take care of you if you have a problem. I wouldnt trade my Kung Fu family for anything. All the members and instructors are awesome and I will continue to train here for a long time!!!

My daughter started with Kung Fu Kids at Stepping Stone in 2011. Within one month she moved to Seven Star for full classes and another 3 months later she advanced to the intermediate class. We have done dance and gymnastics and sports and Kung Fu is the only thing that she has really stuck with. Her concentration at school improved and her obedience and attitude at home have done a 180 degree turn around. She loves Kung Fu and works very hard at learning and practicing techniques and exercises she has learned in class. The instructors are strict but fair and they make the class environment fun and practical. I have enjoyed watching my daughter grow into a Kung Fu martial artist and I know she has learned things she will keep for the rest of her life.

The kickboxing class is a lot of fun and a great workout!!

My 5-year-old loves it!
