10th Planet is hands down the best jiu jitsu system in the Austin area. The head coach at Round Rock started his career at headquarters under Master Eddie Bravo himself, and throughout the week you also have to opportunity to learn from other coaches from the south chapter, two of which are in the top of the world rankings in their divisions. You won’t find more access to knowledge. I moved to Austin specifically for this system and am glad I did because I found a new family. Joining this gym is one of the best decisions you can make in your life

The facilities are great. But the instructors are amazing. Totally welcoming and friendly, as well as knowledgeable. Manny Chavez knows how to teach proficiently at any level from kids, to beginner adults, to experts. Other trainers there are also superb, like Jacob Norton, and Kyle Boehm (who is top ranked in the world).If you have ever wanted to try bjj, this is the time, and this is the gym.

This is such a great bjj gym! Our whole family attends - my hubby is 45, my kids are 5 and 7. We all have a blast and learn a ton. Great for physical, and mental fitness! We love our jiu jitsu lives, and we LOVE 10th Planet and we love Manny!

Great place to train! Exceptional instruction, head coaches are attentive, positive, help with modifying technique and make it an all around fun time. Amazing people, you feel like family as soon as you walk in, and everyone is encouraging you to progress. With membership can train at Austin location as well. There’s a full schedule with several times to train. Can’t say enough good things about this jiu jitsu gym!!!

10th Planet is now in Round Rock and I couldn’t be happier with my training partners and the coaching. I have trained for a few years off and on, dealt with some injuries, bounced around a bit. But nothing compares to the level of instruction I have received at 10th Planet. Coach Manny Chavez is extremely patient with me and my family. I think it’s important to have that support when you’re an older practitioner like myself. I’ve been in bad situations before where the instruction is terrible and it felt like the instructor was only there for themselves and not their students. That’s not the case here. Highly recommend 10th Planet for you and your kids. My 3 daughters also enjoy the kids class and feel like they are being challenged appropriately. My wife even found her joy for Jiu Jitsu again with 10th planet and coach Manny. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Look no further, hands down one of the best schools our family has trained at. We have 3 girls who also train. They enjoy training under Coach Manny. He is very patient and very detailed oriented with the kids and adult classes. We cant say enough great things about Coach Manny. He cares about his students and looks out of their best interest.Another gym was at this exact location and thats where we previously trained. They dug out of their lease early by moving to a new location close by AND switched affiliation...that alone is a red flag. I can say it was the worst experience to train under that person for my family and I. Who wants to train under a narcissist with no character and whos only there for themselves? Were so happy 10th Planet expanded to Round Rock. Since training at 10th Planet, our girls have actually made tremendous progress and no longer bored working on the same technique(s) over and over again. Im also enjoying training again. You can also cross train at their Austin location which is a huge benefit. So many different classes are offered. Everyone here at 10th Planet is very friendly and helpful. We hope to make this our jiu jitsu home for a very long time!!
