If you have only been here for the best car wash package in town and not experienced the auto lube team, you are missing out. Dudley, Harold, Oscar are outstanding and so professional. I pulled in for a quick brake light fix and they treated me like I was their only customer. They introduced themselves, opened the door for me and just were fine young men. You can tell the owners run a great business and hire top notch employees. I have a car wash subscription on all of my cars and it pays for itself in a car wash and a half. Went to get an inspection last week they told me machines down come back later. Went today they said they arent doing inspections because they are out of stickers.... what? I asked the worker when did they start having inspection stickers again? She didnt know how to answer that but Im over 30 unless inspection stickers came back Ill change my rating. Couple years ago this was the place to go I dont know what happened but after today yeah they aint touching my truck 🤣

Rapid Lube is a great easy way to keep your car washed! I got an oil change at shell rapid lube on 3/6. On 3/9, I noticed oil was leaking from my vehicle. I called and spoke to the lube manager, Dudley Lynch. I was mad! He drove to where I was (30 miles away), made sure the car was drivable and then we went back to shell rapid lube. Once there, Mr. Lynch checked everything, tapped off the oil, fixed whatever was wrong, washed the vehicle engine area twice and washed my car. As I was preparing to leave, Mr. Lynch got a cloth and wiped down any areas that were missed by the car wash. He showed me everything that had been done to fix the problem...in short, he went above and beyond to take care of the vehicle. He threw in a few car washes for good measure. I am grateful for the service provided today. Mr. Lynch and his coworkers did a great job and made sure I was informed during every step.

Had an issue and possibly a resolution with a car inspection... I waited patiently in line at the counter to speak with someone. Ask the clerk to speak with a manager. Caleb can to my assistance. I guess he was the manager.. Once we discussed the problem and I shared the possible resolution from the information I took time out to gather.. This manager had the audacity to tell me he didnt have time to make a phone call in reference to the issue I had.. He had customers to help....🤔 I guess I wasnt a customer... Well I definitely will not be a customer from this point on...

I have my vehicle serviced here regularly and mostly deal with Dudley as the first impression he left with ensuring everything was done right was immaculate. On my most recent visit there was an issue that was brought to my attention by Dudley and he was able to resolve it immediately. This business is operated by a great group of individuals who are always courteous and respectful to customers. I recommend this business for any auto services needed to include their wash package prices that are very well priced.

Awesome experience everytime I go! Its my one stop shop for an oil change and a car wash. They have great deals going on for both now so I am there frequently and each time I go I have the same consistent good service. You cant beat their prices and customer service!

They scratched my back rim. They told me the wash will be 9.99 for the first three months and as I look at my statements they took 24.99 the 2nd month. I called and they kept hanging up on me so I went there and they said it was a mistake and they will refund the money. So my charge is still there. If I would of known that they will scratch my brand new tire and charge me extra I would of NEVER allowed myself to spend money with this trashy company. Never again!

I love that I could stay in my car while they changed the oil.

I came for an inspection. I left and got all the way to DMV only to find out my vehicle failed. Not once did an employee tell me it had failed. I had to call them to find out why they failed me for tint when the tint is a legal percentage. They told me it failed for a tint strip on the windshield. The sun visors come down further than the strip did. It was barely past the “legal line”. So not only did I have to wait for the inspection and wait in line at DMV. I now have to wait at both places all over again.

Brought my diesel here because Im 700 miles from home. Guys didnt know anything about diesels. One small girl worked while the guys hung out. Took 90 min to change oil and rotate tires. Then almost over charged me by 50 percent because they dont know what they are doing. I had to explain to the guy that diesel oil and gas oil are not the same and there is a reason I want Rotella T6 in my truck

I needed to get my vehicle inspected, so I went to Shell Rapid lube. The person who helped me was Dudley. He was very friendly, very helpful. Everything was done efficiently. He and Jesse gave excellent customer service and assistance when I needed it.

Oil change is always quick , but if you want an inspection youll have do it twice as their inspection equipment doesnt always send the completed information to the DMV. Not taking my time off again for their issue.

Inspection guy is awful i have legal tint on my car he tells the guy doing my Inspection that my tint was to dark did not meter my tint but tells me hes has to fail my vehicle pretty much wanting me to pay him to pass it took my vehicle to another shop where it was done properly car went through without any issues will never go to shell again

These are the expensive oil changes, this joker took 24 minutes to change my oil turned around and charged $79 for a 2007 Camry

They failed inspection due to tintstrip but 90 percent of there employees drive squatted trucks with the whole windshield tinted and dark windows my tint is 35 percent the strip goes to the a/s line will never return to such a unwelcome unprofessional establishment.

Had a vehicle taken in for a oil change, upon completing the oil change mechanic claimed that the vehicle would not crank and needed a new battery. Being the battery was old we complied and agreed to the new battery, however upon installing the battery, the car would not crank, they performed some test to the vehicle, got it running, vehicle would not stay running and had caution/check lights in the dash blinking for multiple reasons. Removed the car from shell and took it to a dealership to find the battery had been hooked up incorrectly and blew some fuses also, ongoing computer issues now with the vehicle.

No offense they were doing great until they mention other service needs to be done to your vehicle. All I wanted was a synthetic oil change and a free car wash.

Auto inspection, they left their floor paper garbage in my car and a sticky note on my windshield. Nobody would acknowledge me so I put it on the office garbage.

Slow service. Needs help. Lets people vape in establishment. Poorly managed. Does not care if people wear mask. Staff doesnt wear mask. Does not vacuum or clean interior of cars. This place is becoming useless to me and quite frustrating.

It was the last day of the month and I had to get my car inspected. I received prompt and courteous service! Ill use them again.

I pulled up to the car wash about 10 min before they were scheduled to close. After paying and proceeding to the car wash, was immediately blocked off as if it was closed already; mind you there was also another vehicle that had already paid that was behind me. After going through the car wash and proceeding to take part in the free vacuuming service, my girlfriend and I were met by an employee who asked if we were using the spray bottles and we kindly told him no as he rolled off with the cart. As soon as we started vacuuming out my back seat, the same employee comes to tell us that he is about to turn off the vacuums and does so in the middle of us cleaning. Understanding that they were about to close we didnt argue and kindly left. My issue with this is that I felt rushed and was not able to fully take part in the service that I paid for. He could have kindly let us finish, which wouldnt have taken no more than an additional 5 minutes. He could also have tended to other duties to allow us time to finish, which could have been the time it took him to put cones in the empty spaces. All in all, I rarely come to shell for services but there is an obvious reason why. Customer service needs to improve drastically!

These guys always do a great job!

Oil was dirty after the oil change. Fluids not topped off, tire pressure was not topped off. I suspect they changed the oil but not the filter as oil was half and half, I have done this by mistake before, I know what it looks like. Be ready to verify the service, you will be disappointed. Take pics and oil samples before service. Pics of all fluid caps will show if they were removed for filling. Manager did correct all the issues, to his credit. Cannot trust anyone anymore. Sad.

I love ❤️ taking my car to Shell Rapid Lube!! Everybody is nice, respectful and they get things done quickly. I have had my car for nine years and for about seven out of those nine, I have taken my car there to have the oil changed, fluids checked, etc. My car has over 165,000 miles on it and I still always feel safe taking it there for a little check up and suds up. Needless to say, they are awesome and go over and above what my expectations every time!!

I have been a loyal customer since this facility opened in 1997. I have used it exclusively for car washes, oil changes, inspections for over 20 years. Now, however, I feel I must terminate my relationship. You see, loyalty should work both ways. Today, I received a notification from my credit card company that I had been double-billed for my two monthly car wash memberships. When I stopped by, I found out that that rather than being double-billed, the cost had been doubled, without notice. This is very sad. I have referred over a dozen of my friends to this company over the last year. What do I tell them now? I hope that Chris and Hal rethink this decision.

Great service as usual. I arrived there for a synthetic oil change at 8 am and I was out by 8:30 am. Not only that, as they courtesy vacuum my car, the staff found $40.00 under my mats and promptly gave it back to me. I have been doing my oil changes and car wash here for a long time now. They were very nice but they broke my latch on my hood . Slam my hood too hard. They try to blame it on me cause my headlight was broke cause someone hit it with a bat which police took pictures of it and my hood was not like that. They lied and said my hood was already up when I got there....(it was not)...so I will contact corporate or i will let my insurance lawyer handle...they stupid...cause I have pictures of it two days before I went there and thats proof hood was not like that....by the way the manager call me and was very rude...carma...God see everything....

The staff was very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. The waiting area is kept clean. The chairs were wide enoughfor my big hips, but not comfortable. I switched chairs, some feel like the cushion is dropping.

I paid to have car washed and detailed only to find out that they don’t detail anymore, so a car wash that I had to detail myself costs 20 bucks when I could have went to one over in front of Walmart for 10. Just a friendly heads up! If they will bring back the detailing I’ll come back other wise I’ll go somewhere else!

Very quick service every time I go there. Never have I had an issue with the service not the employees. They have plenty of chairs for everyone and overall the perfect experience for the ordinary oil change, inspection and/or car wash.

This place is very professional car care / service. They get you in and out in a timely fashion. The prices are reasonable.

Just sadden by the service.. I relied on this place to change my oil.. and before my 3000 miles or 3 months was up the oil was out.. I was on the highway when this happened but my God got me to a car shop before anything bad could happen to me.. the care was smoking so bad I was scared it would blow up..but owner at the shop and his mechanic helped me out..I thought it was my ac out because I lost the air first before anything... I spoke to the district manager today and he disguised me.. because 3 months have already passed the wont replace of fix their bad work... no matter what the proof is in the milage the oil change didnt last and that was almost my life on the road.. .and I dont need somebodys else permission to see whats wrong with MY car.. stand by your work and you shouldnt need that bs statement.. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS IF YOU LOVE YOUR FAMILY..

WAS a great place to have car washed and detailed... stopped detailing this week so wife and I canceled our fast pass... big screw up by management...guess we will get cars washed elsewhere...

Every since this location has been opened Ive taken all of my cars to this car wash ONLY, but this past Oct I went there and by some fluke my brand new car got damaged and I talked to Chris (The so call Manager) and he claimed it was my fault and said HE WASNT GOING TO PAY, I cant figure out how he would say that w/o looking at the car in person only from a video that he claims I swerved out when coming out of the car wash, Im asking if I swerved away from the noise I heard while inside how could that be, he said I hit a tire brush but the damage is after the tire proving it was still out, so in his defense (he claims) no other car before or after me got damaged so he wasnt buying it. I hated to take my car somewhere else because for the most part they do a good job but I refused to give him any more of my money, but to him it doesnt matter I am just one person so oh well hell get it back some kind of way and as they say payback is a B^%$#

When its time to get my oil changed, I always go to Shell Rapid Lube to get my oil changed. When I go the staff is always friendly. The facility is always clean. The service is always outstanding and I will be going back!.

Asked how long For an oil change from where I was in line to finish because I was on lunch I was told 30 min. It was over an hour.... I asked twice about the time and was lied to twice. Would not recommend. Cant trust someone who would lie for your money.

Went there to get my oil changed and fluids refilled and they didn’t refill any fluids even though they charged me. I’m not even sure they changed my oil and filter for real because it was still dirty when my boyfriend checked. And they left my fluid tops off!! SCAMMERS DONT GO HERE!

2nd time in a row that Ive waited over an hour for an inspection. Other customers came after me, left before me. Ive been going for years with no problems. I dont know whats happened recently but I wont be back. 1 star for the awful experiences but I give them 2 stars because the staff is always friendly.

The staff here is A1. I told them I wanted an oil change and state inspection but I had an hour to be back at work. 40 minutes later the lady at the register called my name and said i was finished. The timing was perfect and they even vacuumed my vehicle and ran it threw the car wash for me. I will be coming back.

There was one weak link in the chain or I would have been happy to give them 5 Stars on my recent cleaning. The car wash on the day I went was unattended. I waited but thought... hmmm I must need to just try and align my tires and go on in... well that was challenging. Two people behind me honked their horns to get an attendant of which finally came out and then he spent ZERO time doing the normal pre-cleaning of the front where bugs get on the car. He had already pressed the buttons to send me on through. As I got out of the car... the front was still pretty terrible. ( I purchased the $30 wash) and so I mentioned to the guy drying it off about the wash attendant and he said that he would do his best to get it but... the bottom line is, after inspecting it when it was done... it really needed to go back through. It was definitely not clean. I had run out of time to wait any longer so I went on and just took it as is. I like these folks a lot. I go about every two weeks. There are some good employees and there are some that need some more training. All I can say is ... that today was not their best.

They put conventional oil when i requested synthetic blend. They changed the wrong wiper blade, changed a headlight and didnt put all the screws back in the moulding- and cross threaded the two they did put back. The turn signal bulb next to the replaced headlight now is out, an hour after they changed the headlamp. I was in line and they moved my truck to a longer line becsuse they needed the lift for someone behind me. Will never go to this location again. Have 359,000 miles on my truck now, i have had many oil changes done. They did not care AT All about the customer. Free car wash code 10147404. I wont use it. Good tilll 3/18/19

Last oil change the oil filter was NOT tightened and oil leaked all over my engine. Plus over filled the oil tank.Im NOT going back

I have given this place numerous chances, but now I am done with them. One time I had my tires rotated, and shortly after I had a flat, and when trying to take the bolts off to change the tire, one broke off because they crossthreaded it. I went back and they agreed to get a new bolt for my tire.Another time I went and someone outside came up to me before I could even go in the building asking me what I needed for my car. I said i want an oil change AND tires rotated. Well after waiting, the receptionist said they were done and upon looking on the paper, it said oil change only. I told her that I wanted my tires rotated as well so I had to wait even longer. Why did the guy come out there and ask me what I need done before i go in the building if they werent going to remember what i said I wanted to do???Well the last straw with this place was this. I went to get an oil change and the guy comes out there and claims I need to get my brakes done, they are low he says. I waited until another time to get this done, but I brought a man with me because I do not know anything about cars. Well apparently when you get your breaks done they usually turn the rotors (discs) as well. My friend asked the guy do they do this and he said no they only change the break pads. Then the realization hit, that they are crooks. Because by not turning the rotors people will have to come back sooner to get their break pads changed. and they dont tell you this. He claimed he knew of a place that turns the rotors for 15 dollars. We called one place while waiting that said to turn the rotors would cost 120$!So after a few minutes of debating, we cancelled our order and left, went down the road to another place and got a quote. Upon checking my brakes, they said that the brakes looked good..nothing needed to be done!!!!Beware of crooks when you go here! The only good thing about Shell is their carwash and detailers in my opinion. Because of this incident they have lost a customer!

They have a big red flashing sign that says they are open Sunday 9-5p yet it was 4p Sunday and the place was closed. I just moved into the area from Arizona and realize in Rocky Mount they do things on their own time.
