The experience was excellent. My car was serviced at the appointed time, the waiting room was spotless, bottles of water were available, tv was tuned to a pleasant, non-political channel. Management has obviously put a lot of thought and effort into their customers comfort while waiting for their car to be serviced.

3.26.2021: From the moment I drove up, Tony & Ken greeted me with kindness. Tony listened carefully as I explained the problems & clearly explained my options. In addressing repair priorities, he kept in mind I had taken off work to be there, making the best use of time. Tony & his staff identified the most crucial issue & addressed this immediately replacing an essential part. Tony & his fellow staff also solved another issue by adjusting a switch first before reordering a part that would not arrive until the following week, resolving the issue. This is the second time I have used Rocky Mt. Toyota. Their expertise & ethics are much appreciated each time. I am truly grateful to depend on Tony, Ken and all the wonderful staff working behind the scenes to keep my Toyota up to speed and my travels safe. Many thanks!

The person who looked for my key lock to be able to rotate the tires, left things just laying out.... inside the car and in the trunk. Nothing was missing I just didnt like that my things was left like that.

Received prompt, courteous, and professional service. I was reminded by email of my service appointment. This was a no charge service since it was for a recall plus a free tire rotation because I had purchased the tires for my Highlander from my local Toyota dealer. I needed batteries replaced in my key fobs and I was pleased that they did it at no charge. They make it very easy and convenient to do business there.

It’s been 8 or 9 months since I purchased my 2020 Highlander Limited from RMT. At the time of purchase I had an excellent experience no pushy sales pitches, cordial and knowledgeable sales force and everything was by their word. Since then I’ve been privy to the best Service department that I’ve dealt with in my 50 years of car buying provided by Rocky Mount Toyota. Anna and now Bridget are exceptional in their customer relations skills which reinforce my belief in a quality deal followed by quality service making a great and lasting relationship.Again thanks Bridget and RMT for what you do. Everything was great except for the shuttle service. In the past, they offered an actual shuttle, where one of the employees would take you back to work and pick you up once your service was complete. When I called last Thursday to make my appointment, I was assured a ride back to work and a ride back to the dealership when my vehicle was finished. When I arrived, I was informed that they now partnered with Lyft ride service and they would have to set up a ride for me. I was able to get a ride to work, but when it was time to get a ride back, there were no Lyft drivers available. I made them aware that I needed my vehicle back by a certain time and that I had to pick my daughter up from school. I waited over an hour for them to attempt to get a Lyft driver, so I had to scramble to find my own ride back to the dealership (I live out of town). Other than that experience, the service on my car was excellent.

An hour appointment took about 15 minutes. Left with 4 different air pressures in my tires. This was my very 1st maintenance appointment on my 2021 camry that was purchased at that location. Spoke with the GM about the issue the same day, promised a callback on yesterday and havent back from anyone. The carfax report came through email which indicated that the tire rotation was not done. Poor free service that Rocky Mount Toyota offers. I guess since its free, they feel they dont need to provide a quality and complete maintenance check when the vehicles are brought in. Poor Poor Poor!!!! I need my car well maintained, I travel with me and my son in it!!!!!

We had our first oil change, completed by Bobby Murray Toyota, for our new forerunner and when we made it home all the oil had leaked out/all over vehicle and driveway. We contacted Bridgett (Bridgett was the best part of this) and she had a tow truck come pick up our vehicle. The only thing that was disappointing was when the service manager returned our vehicle there was oil still on the entire back/under the vehicle.

It was good except they started the dealership bs of charge the fluid of this or that to keep your car new. I will not be back I think this is stealing. Honestly there is a mechanic shop in town that does a better job at repair. They did with by Tundra, now I will see what they can do for my wife’s Highlander

This dealership is just not capable of getting you in and out in less than 2 hours. I was promised this wouldn’t happen again last time. Same old same old. It’s just getting old now. I just don’t see why an oil change takes 2 hours... The auto chat that helps you set appointments doesn’t work either. When you get to the dealership they have no record of your appointment and then the dealership gives you the sense that you didn’t do your due diligence. Wish I bought my car from another dealership...

Service it self was great... only issues was with they mask requirements one guy came in without a mask sat down & started coughing & he didnt have a mask on I feel someone should have told him to step out,asked him to put one on, or gave him one. After he cough a few times I left walked to the surrounding business I come back walk in I hear a voice yelling from the side office didnt see anyone & they started yelling again some lady runs out asking to take my temperature I told her I was in already in the Service department & theyve already taken it she looked like she didnt believe me but walked away while the same guy was still sitting inside still coughing. Outside those issues everyone & everything was great

I really like the work they did on the detail of the car. My only issue was I didn’t check the center console of the my 4Runner I purchased. There was dirt and trash in that. I would recommend checking everywhere in the car and not just the surface...Overall, they did great and would recommend them again.

Car died in parking lot. Warning indicator lights suggested electronic engine, throttle, or automatic transmission control system. Hade it towed to rocky mount Toyota. Ended up being a dead battery! They got to it first thing and I was super pleased. Tony was great

My sunroof wouldn’t shut with a huge storm approaching and I showed up without an appointment and they were kind enough to get it shut ordered the part and had me come back the next morning and replaced my switch! And it was under warranty which I didn’t expect! Kenneth was awesome! They had me in and out in under an hour! See ya soon!

I paid over 100$ for a diagnosis and they didn’t even tel me what was wrong with my car, just that they didn’t feel comfortable working on my car and because it had high mileage that I should just replace engine and transmission. UPDATE: took it to dealership in Raleigh and they changed my ignition coil and car is running like new! I couldn’t be more disappointed in Rocky mount Toyota, took my money and didn’t help in anyway at all!

By far, the worst auto service experience I have ever had!! Expected to pay for a full detail in which the interior had not been touched (have pics). The wrong mileage sticker was affixed to the window, so I questioned if the oil had been changed or if it belonged to another car. I went to Toyota of Rocky Mount to purchase a vehicle on 3/2021. I spoke to the salesperson and he started the process and paperwork and waited to closing to see if they could do the financing for me. I noticed on the contract, they had the price of the vehicle and something called “Kahu” costing 1,387.00. I asked the salesperson what that was and he explained what it was and I replied I didn’t want anything extra attached to the payments and he said it was free and came with the vehicle. It got too late on Saturday so the salesperson said to come back Monday because they were closed on Sunday. Monday I returned for another 5 hours and they still couldn’t get it done, so I returned Tuesday for another 3 hours. Finally they said they could finance a 2017 Toyota 4 runner. I went and sat down with the finance guy and I stated I didn’t want anything extra! But to my amazement the finance guy still tried to sell me extra stuff unwanted by me! Again I stated I didn’t want anything else attached to my payments! He again tried 3 more times to sell me extra stuff I did not want, then he digitally signed my name to the Kahu paperwork and at that point I had it! The manager came out and tried to make me feel guilty about not wanting the Kahu that the dealer had installed on the vehicle not because I wanted it. Also the Manager told me that they had several people inquiring about the vehicle I wanted and that they had held it for me for 4 days, and that we had a gentleman’s agreement LOL!! The reason they held it for 4 days was because of them not being able to finance me at first and others wanting the vehicle is not my doing. Please visit another Toyota dealer because this one will try to make you pay for things they has installed and want you to pay for!!!!

I like the concept of having a service advisor/assistant. Mine is Bridgett Mills. We purchased our 2008 Prius at Priority in Chessprake, VA and later moved to Rocky Mount,. Only three dealers ( Chesapeake, VA, Roanoke Rapids & Rocky Mount, NC) have performed any type of maintenance on the motor or running gear of the vehicle & that includes tires, batteries, inspections, seat covers & etc.. GEICO or AAA approved towing service has been used the few times required and approved GEICO body & Paint shops have been used to tak care of the dings. Bridgett has handled 75% of the time I’ve been involved with repair and upkeep.of this vehicle. She either taught them well or they are a good team but I’d like to still with w/Bridgett if you don’t mind.

My husband went there to get the state inspection and it took them almost 3 hours to finish! A process that normally takes 30-40 minutes at most. Their excuse was the state of NC machine was working slow. And on top of that, they charged $60.00 (that is $30.00 ) MORE without any explanation, as far as I know, an inspection is not worth more than $30.00. So, I would not be getting any car inspections at this place anymore!
