Mr. Ben Silver the upmost professional and extremely great knowledge of the product he is selling. My wife has always dreaded buying a car because of high pressure sells, but this wasn’t the case. When I spoke with Mr Silver on the phone I had a feeling I would be buying a car from him. This was a positive experience even the financial lady was a hoot to work with great personality and Metaphors that made decisions easy. Over all one of the best car buying experiences my wife and I have had. Look forward to continuing a long lasting relationship with Davenport Honda.

Was very disappointed when I went in to purchase a car from this dealership. I went in to the dealership and told them I wanted to keep my monthly payment close to $300 a month. I was told by a salesperson that the car I was looking at would DEFINITELY have payments close to $300 a month after I expressed my concerns of higher payments, affordability, and the possibility of other options. After test driving the car I wanted and having a positive experience, I left and came back another day to assess the value of my trade in. The car I was looking at was no longer in stock due to the national shortage and the salesman forced me to test drive a car I did not like. I expressed that I did not want to test drive the car several times, eventually giving up due to the overbearing and bossy salesman. He had me test drive another vehicle I could not afford even after I said was not interested. I once again shared my concern with the price of the car and was told he would give me a deal on the car. Once the prices were shown, there were no deals. The prices were WAY out of my budget. Then they told me they could call me when one of the cars I wanted would be on site. When they showed me the prices, which again I was promised would be close to $300, it was way over budget… we’re talking over $170/mo over budget. This experience has left me extremely frustrated and disappointed.The sales team also seems to be very unprofessional and put us in an awkward position where one salesman was mad we didn’t use him and called someone in my family to discuss us not having engaged business with him. The salesman we worked with then tried to get us to tattle on his coworker to the manager. Overall, I had a terrible experience and will be looking elsewhere to buy a car.

Had a negative driving interaction between my left rear tire and a nut driver. Took my vehicle to my dealer who determined that the hole was too large to safely repair. While a new tire was not in stock, one was ordered and installed the next day. Spare was replaced and I was good to go. I now know to watch for wild tools lying in wait on the roadway.Dealership was very helpful and provided me with a ride home as they had initially hoped to replace the tire on the first day.

Ive had the same service advisor since I started going to Davenport, who was Scott Smith. Scott is a phenomenal advisor. I have two Hondas, a SUV that my son has at college and a wheelchair handicapped van which is the only transportation for my Mom. Whenever a light or problem would occur, I would call Scott & he could get me in no later than two days. Scott knew this van was the only way we could transport my Mom. If more than a day was necessary, he made sure that all repairs were done on days when she didnt have to be transported. Kudos to Scott, a valuable asset to Davenport & should be rewarded & valued as such.My new advisor is Andrew. We were off to a slow start. I called & left a message with details of my problems & requested a return call, which I didnt get. I called back another day & this time actually got to speak to Scott. I identified which vehicle needed service & was told I could bring it 2 days later. Andrew redeemed himself. He communicated about the estimated time to completion & provided as much detail as he could about what needed to be done. He called to let me know what issues had been identified & what needed to be done with the cost. He subsequently called when my vehicle was ready. Im looking forward to as great of a relationship with Andrew as I had with Scott. Andrew, you have large shoes to fill and I expect equally (because I cant believe that there can be a better service advisor than Scott) great service👍as I have received since I have been at Davenport.FYI, I travel approximately 45 minutes to Davenport because I had been dealing with Honda of Roanoke Rapids (one pathetic management of a Honda dealership). My handicap van was put on a lift incorrectly & the passenger side sliding door was damaged, the passenger side rear light was broken & the rear lift door on the passenger side was dented. Noone said a word when I picked my van up. Had it not been for someone in the parking lot seeing the damage (maybe they had experienced something similar). After making a U-turn, and going back, the service advisors admitted that the damage happened while on the lift and that they could make one of the repairs without management approval, but the replacement of the rear light & dent had to be approved by management. Needless to say, noone from the management team would return my calls. Nor were they ever available regardless of how long I waited. Finally, I decided to get the damages repaired and NEVER return to my local Honda. I make sure that I share my horrific experience with anyone who talks about purchasing a vehicle from Honda of Roanoke Rapids. I tell them, if you want happiness in your life, dont invest your money at Honda of Roanoke Rapids. I know I have personally stopped two sales since that time and while I regret the staff of that dealership could be affected, its pathetic that there is no customer service from the management staff after they have taken your money. Steer clear of Honda of Roanoke Rapids!!!!

I had to wait fora long time at a prior appointment and they gave me a free carwash inside and out for my inconvenience when I went to changethe oil at the next appointment. I appreciate them doing that. Ihave been going there for approximately 15 years. I have neverhad any major issues with their service.

TOP NOTCH PROFESSIONAL SERVICE FROM START TO FINISH!My husband and I were both thrilled with the service we received this past week when we came from Raleigh to buy our 2019 Acura MDX.At first, we worked online with Charlene and she was extremely quick to reply to our initial interest in the vehicle. She provided us with all the details and information we needed to know about the car and also worked with us to get an initial estimate for our trade-in vehicle. Within the span of half a day, we had enough information from Charlene to make us feel completely confident in the Acura MDX Davenport Honda was selling.When we arrived at the dealership, we were warmly greeted by David who would be our sales associate and he had the car we were interested in waiting for us in the shade right outside the dealership doors (it was 100 degrees that day). David was extremely knowledgeable about all of the features of the 2019 MDX, but he was not pushy or aggressive in any way. He knew the car was a great product and let us take our time.When we were ready to make the purchase, our trade-in estimate was honored and the pricing we had discussed online with Charlene was upheld. Overall, the service was good and I didnt have to wait too long; however. I was disappointed to find they left my oil cap off. I didnt realize it until I kept having oil leakage on the ground. That could have been a bad situation if I had not found it.

After I moved to a location closer to Raleigh I continue to bring my Honda to Davenport. What a pleasant experience! Tim Watson listened to what we wanted when we called, returned our call promptly, gave us a good price and delivered exactly what he promised. When we arrived, the car was full of gas, just washed and ready to go. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. We were in and out driving home in our new Honda Ridgeline in 90 minutes. These folks are professional, fair, efficient, and a pleasure to deal with. It was well worth the drive from Chapel Hill to buy from Davenport Honda!

It is truly nice when your salesman remembers so much about what you want in a new car. It had been 4 years since my last purchase and I was amazed that Elbert knew all the little things that were important to me. The cargo cover, no stripes, and of course my wind visors for all 4 windows. He explained all the new features and of course set up my phone for me. Life is really easy when someone does theses things for you. One could not ask for more and I am sure that he is this way with all of his customers.Will (in finance) was as always great to work with. He truly is concerned with what you need as an individual and makes sure that it is there for you.I must say something about the Service Dept. These people are great! Because I drive a Honda, I only see them for oil changes, tire rotations and maybe a wiper blade (if it has snowed and I was impatient with melting the snow on the windshield). Can you tell that I believe that a Honda stays on the road - not in the shop.My first purchase from Davenport was is 1993 shortly after my family moved to this area and I am sure that all my future purchases will be from this dealership.Great people to work with !

My daughter took her car here a few months ago for the airbag recall. At the time she was 4-5 months pregnant. When we arrived to pick it up, her airbag light was still on. We were told it was probably the seatbelt and the passenger side airbag was not in the recall. We left very disappointed with the service and the techs not calling about checking the problem. Fast forward to today. We took her car this morning to Barbour-Hendrick Honda in Greenville. Superior service! She was told today, that tech should have never let her leave and the problem with the warning light was indeed her airbags and if she had wrecked her car, neither airbag would have deployed. OMG!!! She is now 8 1/2 months pregnant with a almost brand new car and working airbags!

My experience at Davenport was one like Ive never experienced before! It was by far a wonderful experience! Everyone whom I encountered while being there were all friendly and greeted me with a smile. I went there looking for a 2016 Honda Accord Sport in white. They had several Honda Accord Sports on the lot but not in white. Graham(manager) and Corey (salesman) both went above and beyond to locate and get the exact car in the color I wanted on the lot within the same day. Angelo (finance manager) was also professional, kind, patient and helpful. These guys were all awesome and went above and beyond to help get me in my brand new 2016 Honda Sport all on the same day of looking for a car! The price was right and they also had a special offer going on at the time of my purchase. They all showed me excellent customer service! They were all professional, kind, happy, and helpful! Great experience with Davenport Honda! I bought a new Honda at Davenport last weekend. I live in New Jersey but found the pricing at Davenport very attractive. I took a train down to Rocky Mount on a Saturday and started the drive home within the hour. Despite the distance, it ended up being my most painless car buying experience. Terrible attitudes and complete unwillingness to help me out. Was driving through area and my left front wheel ( possible bearing) on my Sequioa started making some crazy noise. The response from the dealer was we might be able to look at your vehicle, its going to cost you $150 just to diagnose it , we will not be able to get a part today my mechanics leaving in an hour. Full of excuses even before touching my vehicle. So theyd rather see me stranded on the road than make an attempt to help me.

Just purchased a car here and my experience was excellent! Everyone I worked with was extremely professional! Even the staff I didnt work with directly all spoke and greeted me with a smile during the time I was on the lot. After reviewing the sites inventory online and speaking with Ms. Charlene Hatfield, I knew exactly what car I wanted and got an appointment set up right away. I was greeted from the moment that I pulled onto the dealership lot. They did not have the vehicle I was looking for in stock, but I did end up selling them my vehicle. They offered me a competitive price from the beginning, which saved a lot of time haggling and hassling over prices, which is more of what I am accustomed to doing. Sales Experience : I walked into the dealership with few quotes from other dealers and was able to quickly agree on a deal with the sales team and their manager. I also received a formal quote signed by the manager and they said they will get back to me once they find the car from other dealerships.So my concern is not that they couldnt find the car but the lack of transparency post that. They never got back to me with a clear answer and it was always like let me check with my manager and get back when i called them....And that very moment I knew that the deal was not going to happen and they were not interested to proceed further either because the deal was not deemed profitable enough for them or because they genuinely couldnt find the car ( I dont know the full truth behind it but they could have been better at handling the communication with the customer who thought he had a good deal).But I nevertheless pressed on with other dealers and got a similar deal if not quite what I received at Davenport Honda of Rocky Mount NC.3 stars for the great quote and 0 stars for lack of proper communication post that!

Davenport Honda restored my faith in car dealerships - well, not all, really just that one! Jared Price worked patiently with me for several days to find the right car for me. No pressure, no gimmicks or tricks. I feel like I got the best deal ever not only on the new car price but also top dollar for my trade-in. Jared and Graham did not have the stubborn salesman demeanor, but (more than) fairly negotiated and listened to my needs/concerns. If you want a great car-buying experience without the stress, this is the place to go!! Superb sales experience!!!!! I have been driving a Yukon and was looking to downsize to a smaller vehicle. I went to several dealerships to look at the smaller SUVs. I am not fond of the wheeling and dealing you normally have to do when purchasing a new car. I was unsure what vehicle I wanted to go with. I stopped at Davenport and saw a 2017 CR-V that I really liked. It was late on Friday night but Gene Langley the salesman took the time to discuss the vehicle I was looking at. We set up a time for my husband and myself to come back on Saturday to test drive the vehicle. Gene made it a pleasurable experience unlike some of the other dealers I visited. Gene was very educated on the CR-V. He explained all the options, took the CR-V out of the showroom for us to test drive, and then worked us up a fair price on it. This vehicle was a great compromise for me for gas mileage and style and luxury for my husband. So now we are proud owners of our very first Honda and look forward to also getting the CR-V serviced at Davenport. We love the Dealer for Life program. That is one of the reasons we purchased here instead of our hometown which is about 35 minutes away. Before leaving the dealership he showed us around the service department and again went over all the options on the SUV like setting the seats, mirrors, radio, etc. for our drive home. He was great to work with and we would recommend him to anyone in the area looking to purchase a vehicle. Everyone else we came in contact with as well during our visit was also very professional and personable. Davenport Honda ROCKS.

Excellent service as always. We have had 2 Civics, 2 Accords, and 2 Odysseys. Our 89 Civic still runs great with 207,000 plus miles. Odessey is 2011 and is still gets 29 mpg .

A couple weeks ago we left Florida to escape Hurricane Irma and headed to North Carolina. After Irma passed through FL, we were anxious to survey the damage and return home. We left our friends in OBX and headed out. Out of all the days, our Honda Pilot started to run a little rough and the check engine light came on. We looked up the nearest Honda Dealership and rolled into Davenport Honda. We had just started our journey back to FL and it was starting off with a car troubles, we were a little stressed to say the least. We pull into the garage and our 3 kids go to the play area within the dealership. The staff was very friendly and provided us with constant updates . They let us know that one of our spark plugs went out. They fixed the problem and also took care of a recall notice on the air bag. After about 2 hours we were back on the road and everything was running great! The fixes were covered under our warranty and they waived our fees. We were very thankful that we stopped Davenport Honda. We could not have been happier with the service and staff! They take care of their customers and weary travelers.

No heart or care just a blind sided screw. Went for diagnostic an wasnt done an paper work prove it an told was an assessment was done. Paid $844 for a distributor to be put on in parking lot. A high cost for a crackhead move . I should of done myself but wanted to know all going on with CRV. And when asked certain questions they pulled the Donald Trump! An would not even charge battery that went dead while they worked on it. Thanks for the lesson Honda of Rocky Mount N.C.

I had a fantastic experience with Davenport honda in Rocky mout. I went to all the dealers within a 150 miles but when I went to Davenport honda I spoke with the manager Mark wright and he offered me the same car i wanted for $2,000 cheaper than any other offer.the sales person Gene langly was very good to us . I want to thank the owner for having such great people working for him.
