My daughter just got a 20 minute pedicure. In an out way too fast, very rushed And $15 for gel polish? Not recommended and will not return

If a rough, disrespectful, painful experience isnt what you seek, you may want to try somewhere else. From asking where you work at to gage the overpriced experience to literally drilling my real nail until they burned prior to putting on the artificial nails, I had the worst experience imaginable. I tried them because it was July 4 and my normal boutique was closed. I went with a friend to her normal spot and was immediately thrown off at the fact my appointment was with her normal lady however I was bounced around 3 times before getting in a chair with a distracted older man. Immediately he tried taking my nails off without soaking them which hurt. I finally told him to stop ripping my nails so he soaked them. Next was the drilling. He was drilling so hard and fast my nails burned until I screamed. He still continued by placing bubbly acrylic overlay on my nails then he drilled my skin around my nails until they bled. My nails still hurt today 3 days later! Horrible experience

The lady who did my nails was rude and didnt pay attention to my wants. Requested stiletto and she cut to coffin tip which meant having to cut them again to make right causing them to b too short and when filled filled uneven and all around looks awful and was told cant do art cause their are customer waiting on them do it isnt customer service but how many can we get on our chairs before close worse experience I have ever had most rude unprofessional job and over charged and tech knew wasnt happy with service but didnt care 💅 😭

I have visited this spa many times over the last four years. I will NEVER return! My experience on this pedicure visit was rushed (less than 30 minutes), sloppy, PAINFUL, unclean and expensive! Not in all my years of receiving a pedicure have I ever experienced such pain and roughness! NO attention to detail, as I still have fringes of gel nail color around the edges of my toes. I was made to bleed on both great toes and excessive use of alcohol after, which burned. When cutting my nails it as though he was ripping away the nail and not cutting it away. The finished edges are rough and uneven. The cuticle areas are still unclean. The cart he brought over was very cluttered, the towels were stained and I am pretty sure he used non sterile equipment! I sat on the edge of my seat with my arms crossed through the whole treatment. I know I should have spoken up and left, I just did not want to make a scene, as the spa was full. In the end I feel I was OVERCHARGED. I chose #2 @ $45, upon paying I was charged $60. When asked, he laughed and stated, I forgot to tell you we charge an additional $15 for gel. So disappointed in the service and with myself for not speaking up and now paying and STUPIDLY giving a 15% tip for such HORRIBLE service and undisclosed PRICING! 🤬😡

Depending on who you get gor your deluxe pedicure it is either good or just so, so but you cant beat the price.

I don’t understand how they have 5 out of 5 they had to make that up on their own. I never have experience such horrible service and the place was disgusting.

I felt like my service was rushed, i didnt get the color i wanted even though i brought it up a couple times. Nails are uneven and the paint job is bad.my daughters are ok. I dont think ill be coming back here for how much i spent.

Rescheduled our appointment from Sunday to today Monday for 5pm.Showed up exactly at 5pm. Lady works there says. we are booked. I said we have an appointment for 5pm today. They pointed in the book no you do not. Yes we made it on the phone with the bald Asian guy. He was also clueless. He totally forgot to put us in the book. But what was more irritating is they were very rude about it. And was totally their fault. Anywho that was enough to have us never come back because of their attitude 😒. And this location is called BLUE Diamond spa. Not Mira anymore.

Very unprofessional, nail tech was not paying attention to what she was doing put too much gel polish, it didn’t even dry correctly. Charged me 50$ just for a fill and missing nail.

The girl i had was cold and did not do a good job on my feet. I felt like I was rushed and spent 45.00 for a hot towel and painted toes. I miss the old crew that use to be there. Vu, however did an Amazing job on my fiances feet. Sadly, after all these years I may have to find a new place

Extremely rude and unprofessional staff. I had a bad experience from the beginning which shoulda been a red flag but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. From the beginning they were insisting what service I should get done rather than listen to what service I needed. A basic acrylic removal and new acrylic coat added to the top of my natural nails. Should cost no more than $40 according to their prices listen online and the menu the offered in the salon. They ended up charging me $60 and would not refund the rest. The work they did was so rushed and just terribly done. I have two major cuts on my fingers due to the rushing of the process and ALL my fingers where crushed over with acrylic and top coat I’ve been picking at it for two days now. At the moment I went to ask for the $20 refund (they really just owed me a full refund due to the poor job) they were so rude and just kept raising their voice even though I stayed calm. They didn’t care to even look at my nails and he said prices on web and in the spa were outdated 15 years??? How does that even make sense? I let them know I would not post a bad review if they helped rectify the situation and refund my $20 and they said no made a scene and threatened to sue me for taking out my camera. I had to record their hysterical attitudes. Will never come here again and I hope that the shady operations they are running soon come to light. This nail Salon was called Mirage due to soo many bad reviews they changed their name to Mira Day Spa however they are doing business under Blue Diamond Nails which is what is registered on their business license as well as their bank and receipts. When filing a report or claim make sure to mention all Names!

I got my nails done there today. I wish they could do designs, I wanted a sunflower but they couldnt do it. but I love how my nails turned out!

Spent over 2 hours to get a fill and pedicure. When I returned to ask them to fix a crooked nail she refused and told me it was supposed to be that way.... I will not be returning!!This is probably the worst set Ive ever had I am so embarrassed by them....

The things she used werent clean , they are really rude and long wait times, my water got cold on my feet thats how long i was waiting . And on top of that they tip themselves and dont give you a receipt so you wont see that they tipped themselves . Never going back they can keep their $9 tip

The male doing my nails made me feel very uncomfortable. calling me baby and princess. keep in mind i’m 13 i was going with my friends to get our nails done. they crack and brake doing this easy stuff. it hasn’t been 2 weeks and half my nails are broke and or off.

You have a 50/50 chance of an excellent manicure. It is completely dependent on the nail tech you land, there is very little standardization with methods and quality. I have been here 4 times. The pedicure tub did not seem to be sanitized or lined with a temporary liner, which is a mild concern.The atmosphere is nice and it is conveniently located. Price ranges from $30-$70

I can always get in with minimal wait. The staff is very fast and friendly. My acrylic nails always stay on strong, since I can be rough with my hands. The pedicures are amazing too! My feet always feel so soft and smooth after!

Totally dissatisfied with the whole experience. First of all my nails chipped within 24 hours of getting a gel manicure and when in the next day to get it fixed and they proceeded to tell me that I had to put my number down to wait for technician and after waiting for over an hour and a half I was told that unless technician that did it came in they couldnt fix my nails and no one seemed to know if he was coming in or not. aside from that the guy who did him originally was totally rude said he didnt have half the stuff to do them and when it said $30 on every sign charged me 40 and do the s*** job I dont recommend this place or the way they do their business.

I got a pedicure from here a week ago, and I’m not sure if she used dirty tools or gave me an ingrown toenail, but my toe is now infected, I’m on antibiotics, and I’m likely going to have to fork out $250 to have part of my nail cut off. I will never come here again. Beware of any excessive digging in the nail bed, which is what she did to my now infected toe.

Really poor Communication. After one day of getting a gel pedicure one of the toe nails came off. Went in to get it fixed. There were 10 different techs in there. One was ya busy do you think she would fix it no. She told me to wait 5 minutes for the lady that did it. Then 15 minutes later still no. ONE TOE NAIL $85.00 down the DRAIN

Im pretty picky when it comes to nail salons - a lot of people try but dont always get it right. And since I do my own nails a lot it is pretty easy for me to judge when someone is putting no effort into it.  Yesterday, I tried Mira Day Spa I walked in and the space is HUGE. It was so full, and so many technicians waiting to help you. Staff was friendly, people enjoyed, and days later my nails look like I just got them done

Great and modern nail salon with friendly and talented staffs who really cared about their customers satisfaction. I got Full Set Acrylic and it came out perfect as i expected. The lady that took care of me was very sociable and efficient at what she did. I really loved the way my nails turned out. I would definitely come back soon!

I found a good nail place for a mani done. These ladies treated my mother with such kindness. They were polite and sweet! Especially, they always date up to the current trends. The salon is beautiful with the relaxing music! Wish I had pictures of all the other times shes done my nails but heres todays! AND the price is affordable.

Slower than a snail

I am so happy after over a year since last getting my nails done. Letting go in the pool of beautiful colors, art work, scrubs and lotions. Also, they got us in right at the time of our appt. Having said that, they did a wonderful job! I will go here for all of my pedicure needs from now on.

Very rude! The water was cold and when asked if it could be warmer they looked so bothered that I asked. Didn’t say one word to me, was extremely awkward. Not friendly whatsoever. Won’t be coming back

I was very upset I walked in yesterday put my name and number in the list there was 1 person sitting down waiting in front of me and the lady said we’ll call you when it’s time your turn I never got no one call me !!! I like some of the work they have done, HOWEVER, I would not recommend going with a male worker here, Ive had bad experiences with every man here. On one occasion, he even made me cry during a pedicure... I went there on a hard day looking to find some peace and relaxation, but all I got was criticism about my nails, rude comments and laughs right in front of me. I laid back and just cried. Couldnt wait to get out of there and never went back. I recommend Pro Nails if youre looking!

The staff are respectful and very detailed. And they did a great job even when they were very busy. The salon is kept clean and sparkling. I am thrilled to say this is my new place.

Been here a couple of times in the past, and it was just okay, not out standing service but friendly enough and my nails looked pretty good. I paid $45 for acrylics with gel polish the first time. And this last time I paid $50 for coffin shape acrylics with gel nail polish and they were beautiful. Tia did an amazing job and because of her I will be back. 💅

Worst nail shop I’ve ever been to, they charge you five dollars for the shape, n when I asked for an ombré effect just with glitter she tried to charge me 15 more dollars. They’re so rude as well, if you want to pay 60 for simple nail no art nothing and be charged extra for your shape and length and be uncomfortable and get attitude from the person who is doing your nails then this is the perfect place for you, also I paid for everything and still came out with nothing like I asked for, there are so many places in Reno to get your nails done. Any where but this place.

Im pretty picky about my nails! At Mira Day Spa the staff was super friendly! The girl Julie did my nails and they look BEAUTIFUL! She was super friendly when, I was super curious! Also they have the cutesst kids chairs! I will be going there again!😊💅

I waited for a long time with 2 other people in my party. When it was my turn the tech said that there was not enough time to do my nails. I had the other person in my party do her nails which each of her nails were different and she had enough time for her. Ridiculous! I went shopping as I waited for my rest of my party to finish when I get a call that they offered another tech could do the work. I refused as this should have been offered from the get go not 20 mins after. After all the reason was that there was not enough time. One full set was $55 for coffin with gel, two of the nails seem lopsided. The other was a fill with each nail different $60. Just honestly does not seem worth what given. I would never go here again, and I didnt even get any nails done.

I stood at the reception counter and watched as the receptionist ducked below the counter to talk on the phone. He came up and checked the list to see what I was there for. Then he immediately moved back and then back below the counter to talk on his phone without acknowledging me. I was there for over five minutes watching his antics and becoming more and more angry. Finally, I just took the pen and scratched out my name on the list. There were two other people behind me. There is absolutely no concept of customer service. Ive had other problems with this spa, but will never come back.

Got an awesome spa pedicure and gel manicure here. I had had acrylic nails and I was in desperare need of having them emoved and a careful manicure done. These guys did a great job!

The place was so dirty! No clean instruments for pedicures; I had to ask them if they were clean, because I saw them use the same pedicure instruments on the person before me. I waited for a nail tec to come out and do a fill. I had been waiting 15mins until she came out to give me colors to look at... I waited 20min for her but I got up and walked out. Unprofessional. I only paid for my pedicure, but this worst place I have gone to. Not worth it, go somewhere else.

They took their time and did such an amazing job. They didnt cut any corners or take any short cuts. Just a simple gel pedicure and I felt like I had world class service. Ill go back and recommend it to anyone.

Very fast and inexpensive. A gel manicure is just $30 and you can choose from a huge variety of colors. The employees all do an amazing job, but they speak little English.

This place is horrible.....the guy that did my nails was rude and coughing the whole time. He didn’t sanitize anything and tools were in altoid mint containers and NOT CLEAN. My nails are all different lengths and not shaped well at all and when i told him he just shrugged his shoulders. WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!! Cosmetology Board needs to investigate this place.

I found a good nail place for a mani done. One such place in downtown Reno was so rude to my elderly mother!! They are VERY WONDERFUL. I always have her put designs on my toes and fingernails. The manicue/toes lasts to almost two weeks. I am SUPER excited about with being back. And I think its a value for a manicure.

My sister went there to get her nails done and this is her second time getting her nails done in this was for her High School graduation. The nail technician that was working on her nails got into an argument with another client and after the client walked out the nail technician went back to doing my sisters nails. That nail technician made my sisters cuticles bleed!!! If I was there this would of been handled,buy since it was only her she couldnt tell it If that was normal. My sister said that the nail technitech was mad talking to other nail techniacns and she can feel the lady putting pressure on her cuticles!! Not normal and so unprofessional. This irks me as they need to keep it professional.

This place is horrible! The technician had no idea what she was doing and began yelling at me when I asked her a question. She then made both of my feet bleed because of how rough she was being. I grabbed a towel to dry my feet and she tried to take it away from me, I asked her to leave me alone 3 times before she finally walked away. My daughter had already paid so now I had to try to get some of my money back. The manager said they would give me a $5 of coupon to use next time. I said no I wont be back and by this time I was in tears! They wouldnt give me any of my money back even though they didnt do anything but wash my feet and hurt me! I would not recommend this place!

Horrible! Water was barely warm, I sat in the water for at least 20 minutes before anyone came over. Then they barely scrubbed my feet and didnt file my nails so my paint chipped off days later and I was done in 15 minutes! Awful. Dont waste your money.

Love getting my nails done here!

Ive come here a lot but unfortunately my last visit (about 5 days before I wrote this review) was horrible. They switched people twice while doing my nails and left me alone for approx an hour and a half, stopping what they were doing with my nails to go do three different peoples eyebrows. I spoke up about the inconvenience as I work graveyard shifts and I was closing in on when I needed to sleep before work and they still let me wait while my nail tech was starting on another guest leaving mine unfinished. My nail tech spent most of the time on her phone making personal calls and still charged me $60 (much more than what I normally pay) AND SHE FORGOT TO PUT TOP COAT ON FIVE OF MY NAILS. I tried calling to ask if they would consider at least a partial refund back for the inconvenience and now gross-looking left hand but they said they would only think about if they WANT to give me my money back..Long story short I dont think I will be coming here again.

When I got my Pedicure done, it wasnt as relaxing or felt very good. She was rough on my heals, they bleed a little bit, and my toe nails were painted sloppy. This is the first time I have had this type of service. My daughter got hers done at the same time. The person that did my daughters pedi, had just came back from shoulder surgery, and couldnt really move her right arm. If we decide to go back here, I will make sure we dont get the same people.

The salon is huge and nice. Staff was not overly friendly but not rude. Got the deluxe pedicure but lasted 26 mins with little massage, no hot stone, wax or anything deluxe. It was a basic pedicure for $35 . Removal of gel $5 and nobody said that it was an extra cost. I would say disappointed and would not go back. Not a good value at all

Most painful manicure I have ever had. I told her that I like my nails short and she filed my nails down to my nail bed. I actually had places where I bled at my cuticle and around the skin of my nail! I rarely write reviews but I feel inclined to warn others about my experience here.

Ive gone to this place a few different times and I DO NOT recommend it, they over charge and cant keep their prices straight. One time I came in and asked for coffin shaped black matte nails and the total came out to 60??? I asked how and she said the shape cost extra (already knew,5$) and so did the matte, but that doesnt explain the extra 10??? I came in a few weeks later for a fill and the lady tried to make me pay 45 for black square nails??? And when I talked to her she said the matte was free. My nails broke off in less than a week😤 Overall I dont think they care, and try and make a quick buck with unsuspecting customers which is not OKAY

I have been here quite often. Tuesday, March 26th I brought my friend with me for her birthday. I got the $40 deluxe pedicure as I have callouses and they wont do calluses unless you pay $40 instead of $25. For $25 all you get is foot soak, filing and painting . My friend has nice feet so she got the regular pedicure. The girl (I didnt get her name) asked her if she wanted a manicure and she said no, she didnt need one. After she painted her nails, she just disappeared. My friend was left in the spa chair with foam things in her toes. She did not remove them, offer to take her to sit under the dryer or even put her flip flops on for her. So I wonder if that is the normal treatment if you dont spend more than $25? I told her she shouldnt tip her but she did anyway. I was embarrassed by this poor customer service. Since I had the $40 pedicure, my girl stayed there, put my flip flops on and took me to sit under dryer.They do a good job but the Walmart Regal Nail Salon in Carson City does just as good a pedicure for $25.

Paid $53 for a gel pedicure and got a quick massage with no paraffin wax which I paid for and to top it off the lady cut up one whole side of my toe and kept spraying alcohol all over it once it kept bleeding. A lady named Nuktmeg was very rude. Damaged my nails, she did something that gave an allergic reaction to my skin and was extremely rude! Worst place that I ever went to.

Omg sisters do NOT go to this salon! They have both the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE and DO NOT DO A GOOD JOB! I recently went to get a full set done and i HATED IT! Lala, the lady that attended me did not do her job right! She kept pulling on my hands and fingers and cut my natural nails WAY TOO SHORT! She was not paying attention to me and kept talking to her co-workers. Due to her distraction, she glued my nails on CROOKED! I tried telling her when she was gluing the first ones on but she totally IGNORED ME! I couldnt do anything to make the situation better. Once she was done as she called it, she asked if i wanted gel top coat, i thought about it for a second, and she didnt even give me time to answer before she put it on! Over all i was charged $55 for an ugly, crooked, set of nails. Thats not even the worst part! Two days later my gel coat started chipping and three of my nails popped off! I didnt hit them or anything, they randomly came off. When i went back to the salon, the lady told me that it was MY FAULT! Ugh i was so angry. I told her it was not my fault because my natural nails and fingers didnt even hurt. The three nails just came off! The lady argued with me and didnt even fix it! I am NEVER going back to that salon!

The woman i had was very rude i went with my 2 step sisters and step mom i am the youngest the woman never asked me what i wanted she asked my sisters what i wanted, the only person who asked what i wanted wasnt even the person who was doing my pedicure. She really rushed it felt like I wasnt really relaxing, it seemed like she thought i was dumb and while ahe was doing my fingers she MADE 3 phone calls not took them she made them. They look ok but it was way over priced for the service. Not ever going again.

This place is horrible. They are so incredibly rude. We arrived an hour and a half before closing and were told to leave because they didnt want to take any clients. No customers were there and one lady was counting money. We will never go back.

They have also not filled my nails all of the way so that I would be forced to go back sooner than I needed to.
