I went to them with a check engine light on and they said I needed so work on my manifold then after they did the work to fix it they said that didnt work and that it was my computer. So after paying 2500 I took my truck to the Ford dealership and they replaced my manifold and my front axle for 2500. The reason I needed the front axle replaced is because they said they repaired my 4 wheel drive but didnt only Jerry rigging it they also did my brakes and totally screwed that up. I should of known better when I heard the head mechanic said he never saw a 4x4 system like mine before its a 10 yr old truck with all factory parts.

Very friendly and professional. I took my car in for regular maintenance. They pointed out all the issues and were able to take care of them at a very reasonable cost. I would definitely recommend Excel Automotive.

Had a great experience with the guys at Excel. They diagnosed the problem with my car quickly and offered different options to get it fixed. I needed a new gas tank and they were able to find a used tank for 1/10 the cost of a new one. I appreciate their quick responses and how they kept me informed with what was going on with my car. It seemed like they charged fair prices and I will take my vehicles there again in the future.

My boyfriend and I traveled to Reno during the big storm of thanksgiving weekend 2019 and during the trip we hit a huge hard ice block and my splash panel of my car was severely damaged. However, we did not find out until Monday morning when we were heading back home. Upon discovery, we panicked and searched for the nearest mechanic for some hell because at the time we weren’t sure what the problem was, only that there was something broken underneath my car and the ice block was still stuck as well. We found Excel Automotive and rushed over. We were greeted and helped immediately. They took care of the problem very quickly for FREE! I could not believe their hospitality. It was very appreciated because I was definitely panicked trying to figure out what the issue was and if we would be abke to make it back home or not that day. I highly recommend this place! They will help you out in a pinch!
