Direct Automotive is the best place in Pueblo to get your car fixed. Ive taken a half a dozen vehicles here to get lots of work over the past ten years. Always had the problem solved and at a reasonable price. Joes a real nice owner and worked with me when money was tight to keep me rolling and prioritize repairs. Good location on the corner of Prairie and Jones on the Southside of Pueblo.

Honest and friendly went in for an alignment but its a good thing that I went here turns out I needed new bearings took them a couple of hours price wasnt bad I would recommend them keep up the good work

Brought vehicle in with coolant leak and service engine lights on dash. We were charged for a diagnostic which they didnt do as lights were still on when we left and they told me that wasnt part of the service. Went to Autozone to get free diagnostic and timing belt sensors were going off, which is what Direct Auto said they had just removed in order to replace my water pump. I will not be using them again

Thought I would write a more recent review. Been using this repair shop for years. Recently had car issues knew repair for part was several hundred dollars. But when I went in to pick up vehicle they repaired original part saved me hundreds of dollars. Thats an honest and reliable place.

I went in for front end alignment. I was charged an extra $20.00 for heating tie rods? Never heard of that?I contacted other mechanics to verify. I was not given a copy of my specs. I asked for them, they said they keep for records? On my receipt they had 4-wheel drive it is a 2-wheel drive. I returned the next day because my vehicle drove the same exact way. He said maybe its my shocks. Nope! I said so you are saying I didnt need an alignment? Im not sure if the job was done at all or was done incorrectly! Maybe being a female they think you dont know when someone is ripping you off! Im out $70.00 Not sure how many others have been cheated. I am very Disappointed!!

Robert was amazing, he was true to his word. He was able to get me in on my lunch hour, which was awesome. Pluse the service was great and reasonable, I would recommend them. Plus there was a cute dog to keep me company!!

I took my Ford Focus to have the harmonic balancer replaced during this process they blew my motor for 2 days they would not tell me the truth and kept finding excuses to keep my car for longer finally they told me the truth that they had blew my motor and had to replace it with a rebuilt one because they were over their head in costs they failed to fully complete the job. I had my car but one day and the check engine light came on. The code came up on the diagnostic test and when I called Joe to ask him about it he said he didnt know. This is a very common code he has been a mechanic for years it should have been able to answer me. Joe was always very rude and always lying couldnt tell the truth about what happened to my car. I would never take my car to them I have not only had a bad experience but Ive talked to people around town and they say Joe sucks.

Great mechanics! Went over and above to help my army veteran daughter who was told her van was going to through a rod. Fixed it for lower than what a down payment on a cheaper vehicle would cost. Even came in on his day off to work on it.

Took my car in for repairs. They were fast and kept me up to date throughout the whole process. I would highly reccomend them.

I was advised by another person that they would check codes for free so I went in and he politely told me it would be 25 dollars. So I was confused at first but I understand he has to run a business. He hooked my car up to see where the problem is and all it was was a cracked gas cap. I went in to pay my 25 dollars and he told me it was okay. That he wouldnt take my payment. You dont find people like that anymore. Robert was very sweet and professional as well as the mechanic who looked at my car!!

They charged me a certain price to put it on their computer believe it was about $50 and then they told me apart and I had them fixed it and it wasnt even the part I took it to my backyard mechanic and he actually fixed it better do not trust Joe and his business

Ive had my auto repaired here a couple times and have always been satisfied. However this particular day I had an issue with not being able to start my car at a local drive in restaurant. First I panicked and then I called Joe (the proprietor). He dispatched a mechanic to me pronto and Ive had no trouble since! Im proud to report that my mechanic does go the distance for his clientele! Try them the next time your auto falters. I promise youll be satisfied with the results, the cost, and more!

These guys sold me my first car when I was new in town. It was reliable and the guy I traded it to, for work on my house, is still driving it. Recently I wanted a Subaru and I was searching Craigslist for one I could afford, that was drivable, without any luck. Then one day i was driving down prairie and there it was! In fact there were two Subarus to chose from in the lot of Direct Automotive. Why I didnt check there first, I dont know. It was affordable with my low income And they had done all of this work on it! It runs like a top! These guys make me very happy.

Our Nitro left My husband and I stranded in Pueblo, an hour and a half away from home, this awesome guys towed my nitro to their shop and worked on it, a water pump later we were back on the road. UPDATED: STILL do not have my car back. Still waiting for a call I was supposed to get YESTERDAY from Robert. No call. And I have called ALL DAY and never even got an answer.When they put in a bad motee and runied my transmission and didnt even hook up the electrical correctly and now I can not get anyone to speak to me. Seriously worst service ever. And Joe, owner man, when you send your car in for a SIMPLE repair, which we already had a diginostic for, and then your car comes back and runs worse then before and something as NOT hooking up everything correctly, like the lever for opening the hood of your car, is just lazy and shows bad management. And when you put an engine in a car that you dont TEST when it is not rebuilt, just pulled from a car in a junk yard and put in a car that ran just fine other then the smoking and needing head gaskets, and dont think it would cause MORE damage? Yeah. Not impressed. A personal phone call would have been better then a bland response on here. Fix your company, fix your workers ethics and get me my car back working properly. Oy.Had a car there for over a month and been in there 3 times for the exact same issue and they have YET to fix it. This is after taking it in for head gaskets and it going from that to needing a new water pump and turbo as well to a whole new engine in 5 days. Monday was head gaskets and by Friday we needed a new engine.🙄 All it was doing was smoking and the initial diagnostic was needed new head gaskets. And now we have a car that is stuck in 4th gear, has no spidomiter, no odometer, no dash lights. And being told it was like that when we brought it in. It was not. All it was doing was smoking. Then they replaced the motor with another bad motor and the car my husband uses for work or in worse shape then when we took it to them. I have huge doubts about the trustworthy nature of this shop. Not one person there has been honest with us.

I brought in a vehicle and they cant fix it or really tell me whats wrong, just that my truck all of a sudden needs a new engine. And now I have to pay for no results and move it or be charged storage... WHAT?

I had them pick up my Jeep to replace a sensor and the exhaust manifold when I picked it up I didnt drive right. so they kept it a few more days. When i called they said they hadnt got to drive it yet. They couldnt figure it out so they flushed the power steering fluid (for free) I picked it up again but this time they didnt replace the cap to the power steering fluid. I drove for less than 15 miles and it overheated. I called the owner he said they were closed and that he would try to drop the cap off to me sometime later next week as far as the overheating he didnt touch anything else so its not his fault. 480 bucks and it still doesnt work. The owner was so rude.

They are fast at getting you in and on your way. Not too expensive and they are nice people.
