Full disclosure: I am a massage therapist at Blooming Moon. But I just had to tell you about my facial today! I saw Erica for a 60 minute custom facial and it was absolutely stunning. Ericas energy is so soothing, her massage techniques are spot on. The facial massage was the most dreamy experience, her strokes and pressure were absolutely perfect. My skin left feeling hydrated and smooth and I definitely didnt leave feeling caked with product. If you are in the market for a facial, even if you arent, GO SEE ERICA!!! You will not be disappointed!

A most calming space is felt as soon as you walk through the door. Staff is welcoming, professional and ready to give you a relaxing experience whether its one of their services or shopping for products. Love their skin care lines and more. So convenient that you can shop online for all their products if life gets too busy. Very knowledgeable and eager to answer any questions one has. Top notch.

I received a gift card to this spa 3-4 years ago and held onto it thinking there’d always be a better reason to treat myself.Finally decided to use it on a couples massage for a friend and myself, and when calling to book appointment was told it didn’t matter how old the card was and that they didn’t expire.Got done with our massages to be told the gift card could not be found in their system but that hopefully someone else could do some digging to see what happened. I received a call later in the week to say the person who signed the card did work there but since the card could not be found in the system they couldn’t do anything about it.I’m still embarrassed to have had to deal with this in front of my friend and wish the business had kept better records.

Not only did the massage alleviate my headaches but the knowledgeable staff showed me preventative practices of posture and other techniques that have helped immensely since. Highly recommended and an exceptionally clean, comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. They also sell some of my wifes favorite products. A great gift idea!

Very calming and quaint location, tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. Love the non-toxic, natural products used and offered for sale. Im all about sustainability. The only neg I would add (this was my husbands comment because I did not think of it) is that no beverage was offered during our pedi spa experience.

Leslie did an amazing job on my hot stone massage. I’ll definitely be coming back. The spa was clean, quiet and very relaxing.

I arrived and was told my appointment was cancelled. I hadnt recieved any notice of this cancellation. They said that a staff member called me that morning possibly from thier own cell phone (aka a random number I wouldnt recognize, not the business phone). What is the most confusing is that you get texts for confirmed appointments when you make them, but not when they cancel the appointment (day of due to staff issues). No cancellation notice was sent out via text or email, but I have recieved a text confirmation for every single appointment I booked. I asked if they could also send a text next time this happens...I was told we dont text ... Make it make sense.This review is for the front desk, Ill leave another seperate review for the wonderful services Ive recieved.

I had a gel manicure done, but large pieces were lifting off my nails after a couple of days. They fixed the first nail this happened to, but it peeled again the next day.I called to explain what was happening and made it clear that I didnt think it was the fault of the nail artist but, in turn, she suggested it was my fault and that I must have had too many manicures in a row. My nails were not unhealthy as it had been a year since my last gel manicure.Also, the accent nails were fine, so it was obviously an issue with the polish. They offered to remove it for free but not to re-do it. I would have gladly forgiven a faulty polish (things happen), but blaming me and not standing by their work was very disappointing.

Ashley was spot on with the brow shape that I had in mind. My skin is sensitive and the wax was very gentle. No redness or afterwards. Looking forward to receiving other treatments from her in the future.

I have been getting my nails done at Blooming Moon for a couple of years now, and it is always the best experience. Ive gone with friends for a pedi elsewhere and, let me tell you, nothing compares. The folks at Blooming Moon are gentle and conscious. At every single other place Ive visited, the aesthetician has always hurt my toes or my fingers. Not here. Every single person Ive seen has always been careful not to cut too close or too quickly. And, my color lasts for months (if I let it). Ive had a few facials here too and have always really enjoyed them. I love treating myself to time at Blooming Moon! They do an excellent job keeping the place clean, and have even upped their game (which I didnt think was possible) since COVID hit, being very careful with screening and keeping clients spaced apart. Always, always looking forward to my next treatment!

Today I had a pedicure by Qian and it was AMAZING. She was gentle and very thorough. My toes feel and look amazing. By far the best pedicure I have ever had. The business was clean and inviting. And I can’t wait to come back for more services.

Such a cozy and nice little spa! I got a lash lift and tint here with Bri and she’s amazing! She’s very knowledgeable about lash health and safety and has a very soft touch. The experience was very easy and comfortable and she explained the process to me because it was my first time. They also have so many thorough safety protocols in place for the pandemic and I definitely felt safe here. My lashes look awesome and I definitely will keep coming back!

What an incredible eco-friendly and environmentally conscious spa in Portland! We went here for my friends Bacherlorette Party in August with a group from all over the world. Pedicures, bubbles, and a fabulous ambiance cultivated by the talented staff make Blooming Moon a premier destination in Portland. I’m a local and so happy they’re offering sugaring services now!

For my birthday my mom asked me what I wanted, I said a spa day. So she told me to look up a spa and find the services I wanted and she would send me the money for it. I booked my appointment and set up a baby sitter. The day before my sitter cancelled, I frantically tried to find another sitter, even joined app to find a sitter. I foolishly held out hope and kept looking to no end and had to cancel the appointment the day before. They still charged me the full amount and took all of the money I had for my birthday present. I get they have policies but its not like I just didnt show up, I was trying to rebook for another day, I still wanted their services. I would not call this place single mom friendly. Id would like to be rating the actual services but I wasnt given the chance.

My treatments at Blooming Moon have been incredible! Ive been lucky enough to get Teagan the few times Ive gone in and she is incredibly thorough, timely, and interested in giving me the best possible service. The treats are always great and I appreciate the product recommendations at the end of my visits. Keep up the good work!

Always a great experience! I have been twice for pedis now along with my girlfriend and each time it has been great. The staff is friendly, the place is clean and inviting, and since I have started getting their newsletter I see they have some really good monthly specials too. I would recommend for sure!

I went for a pedicure and was pleasantly surprised at the copper tubs and quiet environment. The treatment was relaxing and was performed using non toxic supplies. I was offered a tea and I sat back with high expectations for a deep foot treatment. Everything was done well. I could have only wished for a little more work around my big toes, to clean any debris hiding there and a little more work on smoothing the roughness on my heels. The polish was done beautifully. It has been weeks and the polish is just beginning to chip.I will definitely go back and I have recommended the spa repeatedly.

Holy cow!, where do I begin? Coming from Florida for our honeymoon I wanted to treat my honey to his first massage, ever. This spa did not disappoint. The staff was BEYOND accommodating, so sweet and extremely professional. The cute home turned spa is cozy and the people make it warm and inviting. I indulge in facials often at high end spas and this one was by far the BEST I have ever had. These ladies are top notch. Wish we lived here because I would be here every month. Nice spa with friendly staff and lovely facility. I would love to give it a full five stars but unfortunately Ive had so many mishaps over the years with their ability to keep track of the generous credit I had on file (several years of gift certificates from my in-laws). The spa owner even offered me an additional treatment credit to make it right but didnt log it in the system and therefore, I never got it. Pretty disappointing.

Ive had several really good experiences here both with massage and a pedicure. The massages have been just what I wanted and it was easy to communicate with the practitioners. The pedicure I had was just fantastic!! Yes it was more expensive than the standard strip mall version with the weird massage chairs and chemical smells, but it was so worth it. You get a really nice leg massage, scrubs, heating neck pad, and a great pedicure as well. Qian did my pedicure and she is just so nice and very good at what she does. Next time Im going to get the version where you get a glass of wine or something because that sounds really nice, but you do get hot tea with the basic pedicure which was also lovely.

My sister and I went here recently and I received my FIRST pedicure! Im not usually one to let people mess with my feet, but the experience was amazing and I would definitely recommend and go back! The place is super clean, the staff is highly skilled and professional, and it was just an enjoyable and overall relaxing day!! Will be going back soon! Oh...and my feet feel and look fantastic!

I had a facial with Eden and she was fantastic! She explained what each of the steps were that she applied on my face and catered the facial to my skin type. There were also skin softening gloves during the time. To top it off, she also did wonderful shoulder/neck, foot, and hand massages. Will definitely be a regular with her!

I picked Blooming Moon for a spa retreat while I was in town visiting Portland. Im so glad I happened upon this place! The area of town is so cute, the services (pedicure and massage) were some of the best Ive ever had, and the atmosphere was wonderful. It was beautiful, clean, and friendly. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere creates a feeling of instant relaxation and a sense of stillness as soon as you walk in. A beautiful space, and down to earth vibe. So much attention to detail, with fruit infused water, even an eco-friendly bathroom. I had my first facial done here, (Im actually an esthetician myself, though I only do makeup.) I loved it! I came here because they offer a vegan facial, the antioxidant-rich berry facial. I felt so comforted and taken care of, and my skin was beautifully glowing days after the service. And of course the staff, and my esthetician were amazing as well. I will definitely be coming back!

Just received a wonderful 90-minute massage from Holly. She worked a lot of tension out of my sore spots, and I felt like I released a lot of stress I had been storing in my muscles. She listened to what I needed and delivered. I highly recommend Blooming Moon! Beautiful decor with a relaxing, gentle vibe. Looking forward to my next appointment. 💆

Blissful!I went to Blooming Moon Wellness Spa for the first time this weekend, and could not be more pleased! The space was tranquil and refreshing, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure I was relaxed and happy. I purchased the Bare Your Souls Deluxe Spa Pedicure with an additional hot stone massage, and oh my goodness.... what a treat! (Do try the Eucalyptus lotion - its amazing!)Kaitlyn was my nail tech, and she was so professional, personable, and did a wonderful job on both my nails and my massage. I even saw her the next day while out and about, and she made sure to say hello.I will definitely be returning to Blooming Moon Wellness Spa for any future manicure/pedicure needs, and am looking forward to trying one of their massages for my next visit.

This is a very long time coming, but I had to take the time to say how fantastic the charming business is. Everyone from the receptionists to the massage therapist is charming, warm and so gracious! Kayla is an absolute gem and likely the best massage youll ever have. Just a wonderful example of a small business that puts so much effort into always improving and providing sincere, wonderful service.

Over the Moon with my experience!I was warmly welcomed by the woman at the front desk, though Im sad to say I missed her name. Blooming Moons new location is gorgeous with a calming serene vibe. I appreciated that the hostess/coordinator showed respect for the other services going on and encouraged a quiet walk while showing me to the waiting area.My massage was with Stephanie and I cannot say enough kind words about her! She was so professional gave the best massage! Ive had my share of massages and honestly this one was my favorite. You must go visit for yourself!Bonus: the spa is organic/eco-friendly!

I first heard about Blooming Moon while visiting Portland from my AirBnB host, who was an acupuncturist. She recommended Sheridan for a massage and I wasnt disappointed! He is very personable, professional, and takes the time to help you get relief in areas where you need it most. The setting is peaceful but not pristine feeling; front desk staff have always been excellent as well. Im sure other therapists are great as well, but I tend to come back for Sheridan and have joined as a monthly member. Highly recommend this spot!

Literally EVERYTHING feels better after a visit to Blooming Moon. Am I saying that youll be less upset about everything and anything bad thats ever happened to anyone, anywhere? Yes, thats exactly what Im saying. Get the 90-minute facial. Ask for Tatum; shes an awesome human being and will leave you feeling fresh, flawless, and glowing. An all-around fantastic experience.

My wife and I came here to celebrate our anniversary by scheduling a couple’s pedicure. We were seen by Teagan and Devonie who did an amazing job! After a stressful day around town, they made sure we were relaxed and cared for the whole time.

I just received my first massage at Blooming Moon and it was fantastic. Sheridan Long was my massage therapist and I really appreciated his communication technique. It was a thoroughly enjoyable massage and I actually felt relief! I liked the clean and simple design of the spa and the customer service was impeccable! I cant wait to go back!

My husband and I had a couples massage with Sara and Taylor respectively and we both were very satisfied with the quality of the work each massage therapist did. While I do enjoy massage and have had very good massages, I felt Taylor was able to address my requested issues really effectively in a way where I felt the results immediately, and my husband reported the same for his massage. Sara and Taylor also both seemed very knowledgable in what they were doing and Taylor gave me some continuing care recommendations.We plan to re-book with this spa and specifically with Taylor and Sara again :)

Every time I visit Portland Blooming Moon is on my list of places to visit. I have always had a stellar massage and just float down the stairs after! So relaxing! The environment is pleasing and the staff have always been kind and accommodating. I love you Blooming Moon!

The ambience of this spa is amazing, I definitely felt relaxed. But, I have to reaffirm what Tya P. said about the manicure. It really was poorly done. I felt for the price my manicure should definitely look better. I also had a gel removal before the manicure and I was surprised when the manicurist used a metal stick to scrape off the gel after a short while of soaking. The manicure I booked also was supposed to come with champagne, but they were out of that so I was given white wine instead. Also, the lotion I had chosen appeared to be very low and the manicurist had to supplement it with an oil that really took away from the lotions lavender scent. Overall, I may go back to this spa to try out their massage, but I dont think Ill be getting a manicure again. I really really wanted to like this place, but I think I could have painted my nails better. I got the manicure yesterday so the polish on my nails in the pictures are only a day old.

First time customer. I took my wife here for her 30th birthday. She received a facial and pedicure from Brooke, and a massage from Kimmy. I also received a massage from Kimmy. We were both very happy with the experience. Their friendliness and professional technique left us feeling well taken care of. I felt drugged.The place itself was well decorated and soothing. Theyre working on building 3 soaking pools out back, but are waiting on the possibility of a small business grant in order to build them. Visit their site and vote for them!Overall, highly recommended. Will definitely return.

The whole experience was disappointing. I felt as the customer I didnt matter at all, and then when they could sense my frustration I was treated as if I wasnt welcome, although I paid for services. My massage was mediocre, the hot stones were warm, I had to ask for firmer pressure several times. I felt like I got a warm rub down. I will not spend money with this establishment again.

This place is without a doubt the best spa in Portland. Ginnys facials are worth every penny and Sheridans massage is just unreal. I highly recommend this place!

I have been to Blooming Moon several times. I have had facials from Ginny and massages from several of the practioners and each time I was extremely satisfied, leaving the spa feeling very relaxed and pampered.The staff is always friendly and the spa is clean and beautiful. Also, Ginnys facials are as relaxing as many massages. I also really like the Epicuran skincare line and use the Alpha Lipoic Acid and Dermal Repair Balm for more mature skin. They are awesome!

I really felt taken care of and will be a repeat customer! The spa is set in a lovely home, and cant beat the vibe. Treat yourself.

I went to a GLOW & RENEW FACIAL with Ginny, that includes the microcurrent. For my surprise she charged as I did the BLOOMING MOON PHOTO-MICRODERM FACIAL which not includes the microcurrent plus $25 (total $155) because she spent 75 min instead. She never informed about the extra charge before the procedure. I was not happy, the main reason that I choose the place it was because of the microcurrent and she never asked me if I wanted it or not. Im not planing to come back, she also tried to sell me some products afterwards and made me fell very uncomfortable. I dont think the procedure was worth the money.

The new location is spacious. I never had a problem with outside noise during my massage.

I came here to buy 100% Pure cosmetics. Their selection is extremely small to begin with and not a good return policy. Their return policy on body products is exchange or store credit. Im pretty disappointed. I should not have come here to get what I was looking for.
