This place is great! I loved the service, and that we were offered a free drink. The big windows were open and it was great to feel the fresh air and relax in the massage chair! 10/10 recommend!

I’ve gone to this place a few times and while I do like it I have to say the quality of manicure has decreased over time. Pros, the staff are very nice, it’s a clean nice space, you get a free drink. The con is that the quality of the manicure is insanely hit or miss. I’ve had a couple good ones and then I’ve had a couple where the polish is all bubbly, there’s spots they didn’t paint, my nails are all different shapes and rough, and then it chips in like a day. I included a photo of my most recent one which photographed pretty well but has a bunch of bubbles and bumps.

Got the 45$ pedicure as a special treat for my piggies. It was great! Ashley, my pedicurist, did an great job. She was gentle, and took her time. The service came with a complimentary drink so my friend and I got a margarita. It was super yummy! The place was clean and well decorated too! Glad we came.

The woman Spent a lot of time on my nails and really made my cuticles look exceptional.

Wendy was great I felt a little rushed towards the end of my service but they also had me in same day even being a few minutes late.

I came in for a pedicure for the first time since COVID and it was wonderful. The staff are taking precautions very seriously. Mother’s Earth is always super relaxing, clean, and quiet. When the weather is nice they open their garage door window so it feels like you’re in an open-air spa.

All the staff were magnificent!!! The service was great! I wore boots and socks and they were so gracious. Hey! Its still Winter. I will be back. Oh! And the complimentary beverage with service was very generous, as well. I had the Thai Tea. They accept walk-ins!!!

This is truly the best nail salon in Portland. Wendy, in particular, is excellent. They provide a fantastic service and are incredibly kind, artistic, and well priced.

Been here twice since moving to Portland and never been disappointed. Wonderful service and very nice, airy atmosphere. Complimentary beverage with service. Cash only. You will need to budget some time because they always take the time and care to give the service as described, which is great! Definitely worth the price, which is a value given the experience.

I’m obsessed with this place! Wendy is the only one that can give me an amazing pedicure and massage and not cause me to kick and giggle due to tickling. I know that sounds strange, but it’s a HUGE DEAL! The staff is always so kind and polite, and the TV shows are sure to make you smile. Love Mother Earth’s!

Nice salon. Not too crowded so I was able to get in spur of the moment. Everyone working was very friendly and everything super clean. The only thing that I didnt like was a big TV on, they had very relaxing music playing so Im not sure why they needed a TV also on- very distracting!The guy did a nice job on the pedicure but could improve his massage skill. Next time I will ask to face away from the TV. Ill go back for sure because all in all its a great place and nice people.

They are so nice and I want to love this place but my manicure didn’t look very good and after two days the nails are chipped.

I’ve been coming here consistently for more than a year and I still love it. I literally drive here from Albany (1h30 south) because it’s so worth it. Yes, the sunflower seed boss and YouTube food videos are real, but every member of the staff does such a great job, the atmosphere is so calming, and my shellac lasts for a really long time. Plus, the free cocktail is quite nice. They’ve only rushed one time, and it was a mani-pedi while they were really busy, which I totally understand.

This salon is nice. Nice atmosphere and decorations and clean towels and utensils. My only complaint is that they do not remove acrylic nails if you need that service. It is nice that they provide a free drink with service as well.

I going to be honest, Ive never been to this nail salon. Although I called to ask if they do acrylic nails and the woman was very rude to me. When I asked if they did acrylics, the woman replied no in a very rude manner, like she was irritated. Then she simply hung up on me before I could even reply ok thank you. I havent been there before, but I think the women could have been somewhat more friendly.

Always had great service here. I mostly partake in their pedicure services, but they also do manicures as well.You are free to walk in to see if you can get a spot which I did today. Id recommend making an appointment to be on the safe side.The services here seem to be pretty v standard. Different levels of service with varying costs. They serve red and white wine, mimosa, and even a mojito. I always opt for the wine.Tons of colors of nail polish to choose from. Almost overwhelming for an indecisive person like me. I also love that they have a roll up door to open up the space on nice days.Make sure to bring cash as they only accept cash tips. They discourage credit card payments, but will take them.

I came in wanting my gel nails re done (originally got them somewhere else). She soaked them in acetone for like 5 minutes tops and when all of it didn’t come off she proceeded to BUFF AND SCRAPE THEM OFF. Are you kidding me? She absolutely trashed my nail beds. Then she went in for the cuticles. She was way too heavy handed and I left with one of my cuticles bleeding. Then, when she was shaping my nails, she wasn’t even looking at what she was doing. She kept trailing off to talk to her friend. I had to ask her to go back and round some of them because they were so lopsided. One week later and three of my nails - not the paint, the nail itself - have chipped and or broken off. I’m guessing it’s because they’re so weak from her buffing and scraping them. Now I have no choice but to take off the gel myself and give them a couple months to grow back completely. Never going back. Can’t recommend to anyone in good faith.

This place is incredible, Ive frequented there for a year. THEY ONLY DO NATURAL NAILS. So please stop giving them bad reviews for not doing acrylics when its not even an offered service. Theres a language barrier, but they are sweet, attentive, & good at what they do. Be patient, & understand that if you go in on a weekend there will be a long wait.

Had a very good experience here. Just got the basic pedicure. Everyone was nice, nails were well done, and the foot/leg massage wasnt too strong like it is at some places. Complimentary drink, I got a delicious Thai iced tea. I will definitely be coming back!

What a gem! If you havent been yet, you should give this place a try! We walked in with a group of four and they were happy to accommodate us! We received complementary champagne (even a refill) and a discount for our first time there. My nail tech took her time to make sure my nails came out great! The pedicure was heavenly completed with a hot stone massage and mask (for the basic!!)! I love that they use all new files and foot scrubs on each client. Theyre santitary, friendly and professional. I am going to be in this salon every few weeks! Highly recommend!

The salon itself is great and it is nice to have a drink while getting your nails done. My bad review is because of the quality of the service. My nails only lasted me two days and then started chipping. They werent acrylic but normally when I go to other salons they last me at least a good week!! Another thing is the atm says there is no fee and that they are responsible for it. That is a lie. I was still charged a fee when withdrawing the cash. I could also tell that they were making fun of how short my nails were. At least be a little less obvious. Overall, my experience wasnt the best. I am not going back there again.

The first 2-3 visits here were great. I loved the staff, free wine, and outcome of my gel manicures. Over time, the staff seemed more hurried in getting me out so they could close early. They are open until 8 PM but if you come in after 6 PM they are short with you and hurry through your service. The last two manicures dropped significantly in quality. Also, I had 1 dot of gel left on my finger and they charged a full $10 to scrape that off. Looking elsewhere and will not be a returning customer.

I was very uncomfortable. They have you watching a girl creating clothes on the TV like its some clothing class. They are way too expensive for what they offer. Their rude & Ill just stick with the #1 nail place in portland Nail Garden @ Cascade Station They Are Amazing... I ONLY tried this place because of the time frame i had & just couldnt make it to Nail Garden @ Cascade Station... However, I ABSOLUTELY Do Not Recommend Mother Earths Nail Bar & Their Nail Color Selection Is Horrible For Shellac...😔😒😣

I love that Mother Earths is clean and the windows open. I also am just mesmerized by the thai cooking channel that is always on. However, my services are always rushed and the pedicures and shellac manicures are terrible. I was in on Christmas eve and was the last of four people to sit down for a manicure. Two women were there about ten minutes before us and my friend sat down at the same time. My person finished with me ten minutes before everyone else. This can be nice if youre in a hurry, but the manicure was terrible and its already chipping after only a week. More expensive than other places and the result is not as good. Im really disappointed because I love the atmosphere, free drinks and its in my neighborhood.

I had given this place a five star review until I called to make another appointment with Win, who did the best manicure Ive ever had. When I called to make an appointment with him the woman on the phone said I was not allowed to request anyone .Its insane that you can not request the same person over again- Its normal protocol every beauty/nail salon Ive ever been to or heard of.Win gets five stars, the woman on the phone gets zero. She was very unhelpful.

I went on a spur of the moment Sunday morning whim and although they were busy, I was seated for a mani + pedi in a couple minutes.The atmosphere is clean and all the equipment is new. They present you with a services menu/pricing and offer you a free drink. Think mimosa, coffee and the Thai iced tea is actually great!As for the nail service - I was really pleased. My foot/leg massage lasted forever and the nail tech was very meticulous.Highly recommended!

This is by far the best salon Ive found in Portland. They are thorough and never skip a step. Lots of focus on nail prep and cuticles - great paint job as well!

I made a reservation for 5 people 3 days ahead of time. I listed out each service and well, and the person read it all back to me. When my group and I arrived (black and brown people) to an almost empty salon with two customers being helped, they told us they had no reservation and began to argue amongst each other whether or not to serve us. Mind you, in the reservation under my name, we had at least 3-400 dollars worth of business we were trying to give them. We walked out while they were still arguing. Their loss.

Went in to book a 3rd appointment in 4 weeks and tried using the bank machine only to be tapped on the shoulder and told to stop immediately, take my card out, and that it was for customers only, and ushered away. Guess I wont be a customer there anymore then.. There are better nail salons around anyway

Went in to get a manicure and a full set. Told them on the phone and in person (multiple times) that I wanted an acrylic set. Sat down and the lady instantly starts spewing out prices, I tell her I’m fine with them but she keeps telling me my total price as if I can’t pay for it. She cleans up my nails and goes to put on the nail polish, I tell her(yet again) that I want a set and she says “we only do natural nails, you want fake?!” With a disgusted look on her face.I apologize for the miscommunication and say I’ll just pay for the cleaning, she says it’s $15 and they only accept cash.First and Last time I’m going to Mother Earth!

Very rude when I walked in, little to no customer service after asking what I needed. There were several (5+) people there and somehow I still had to wait to be seated in a pedicure chair. Mind you 8 chairs were open, but I still had to wait to be seated. Finally when seated the rude lady that greeted me came over to tell he how much certain services cost like I couldnt afford it. I was pressed for time and they were the only shop near me opened this early on a Sunday morning. Personally I would never come back or recommend this place to anyone.

They do an excellent job here! They have at least 100 colors of gel polish and my nails look perfect every time.
