Nice little boat ride! Very relaxing but bring a sweater during the fall it gets chilly once it goes. They have snacks and drinks as well. Great way to see Pittsburgh from the river.

The staff and the tour itself was good however they had one person working the bar /snack bar. If you wanted a drink it was at least a 20 minute wait on the first deck of one hour sight seeing cruise. Sorry not spending a third of my time below deck waiting in line for an over priced drink. Also it was the one persons second day which certainly didnt help the line situation.If you have a few hundred people on board have more than one bar open and more than one person working it.

If you are in Pittsburgh on business or just have one night to spend in town this is a great way to see the city and get a taste of the town from the gorgeous views on the water. Just educational enough to be entertaining and not boring and just funny enough to be amused without being corny. Really glad we did this!

Oh my goodness! First of all, this was my first time on a boat bigger than 20 feet long, so pardon my child like excitement. Now then, I will start with saying they run the cruises rain or shine, due to the option to be indoors or outdoors on the boats. It was easy enough to locate. Be sure you call to check for sailing times, because the times on the website are not always completely accurate. I went on a Sunday evening, at 8pm on a sightseeing cruise with cocktails. The narration was entertaining and informative, the snacks were plenty for the hour long excursion, and the drinks were, I was told by many, tasty and stout. I highly recommend this for date night, families, or anyone in Pittsburgh that has never tried it before. Also, if you get your tickets early, there is a few restaurants down the block that are great places to spend killing time. Most importantly, check out this amazing picture I got of the sunset! The next time I am in town I hope to try out either the dinner or party cruise.

Midnight cruise is a legit PARTY. Inside is hot, so dress accordingly. Get there early so you can enjoy some of the included food first. And get a drink asap cause the line takes FOREVER. So fun and absolutely stunning. What a great time!

Took a 2 hour tour of the 3 rivers. It was close to 100 bucks for a family of 4. We got to see both stadiums, incline plane, and some cool bridges. Highly recommend.

A rather large group of us went on a dinner cruise on the Clipper. It was seamless from start to finish. Check in went smoothly. There were good options of places to sit, both inside and outside. The meal and bar service was well laid out, although the meal itself was just sort of so so.Most importantly, the narration was excellent. A lot of interesting information provided about the history of Pittsburgh, and the 3 rivers it is built upon, accompanied by relaxing stretches of silence where we could just sit back, take it all in and enjoy the view.

A must do attraction in downtown to get amazing views and learn more about the steel city.

Great way to see the City of Pittsburgh!! They also offer rides to Steeler and Pirates games as well as Dinner Cruises and even Moonlight Dance Cruises. They do it all!!

Handicap accessible for wheelchairs. My son and I really enjoyed being out on the water. Taken to many beautiful views with a little told history of the city

Moonlight Cruise is nice and plays good music. The biggest downside is the line for the bar. It takes 45 minutes to get a drink...

We took the Three River Classic Tour. Our narrator, Ron, did a nice job. The boat was clean. Full bar and light snacks available for purchase. One hour tour that included the confluence of three rivers, untold number of bridges and two ballparks. Well worth the time.

Capt. Andy was an awesome host. His commentary of the history of the 3 rivers is very good. All the crew were very friendly and engaging. Will go again when we are in the area. Try their golden anchor lemonade drink very good.

Pittsburgh is a beautiful city seen best from the many rivers that go through the city. Its nice to have the Gateway Clipper offer many options to take in the great views . However its sad when the business practices of the company takes advantage of its customers. That is exactly what this company demonstrates. Last weekend after over two years I came home to visit my mother and family. We purchased tickets to take the Gateway Clipper Mothers Day ride to celebrate. The weather was bad with rain and cooler temperatures. Being inside the boat made for the best to create memories and experiences which we did. Even better we took a picture upon boarding the boat that we wanted to purchase to commemorate the experience. It was this picture that showed me the poor business practice of this company which seeks to take advantage of all customers. You have the option for $25 to buy the picture on the boat along with $10 more dollars per photo. This was common, but given I was out of town and the fact that we live in a digital world I asked what about having an electronic copy. I was informed to my surprise that was not an option. To get the digital copy I had to go online later in the day and make the purchase. How much for the online copy? It was a crazy $25 the same amount I paid in person. So the gist is that to purchase a physical and copy of the photo that was taken digitally cost $50 and requires me as a customer to buy in person and online. This is a SCAM. I will never support this company again. I will also make know the disappointment I have with this practice. I called the photo office three days straight to have my called returned Wednesday. My ask was simple to provide me the digital photo that I felt purchase when I bought it in person. The customer service rep, Kaitlyn, could not address my concern and informed me she would tell her supervisor Joe to call me back. Its been two days and I am still waiting. Business that runs scams like this deserve to not be in business. Kaitlyn or Joe I am still waiting for my returned phone call and a copy of my photo.

2020 We went for My Birthday! There were Covid restrictions but it was still a great time!

Went on the last cruise of the day 8pm -9pm (cocktail cruise). Weather was pretty good and very comfortable this time of day. The guide was very knowledgeable and highlighted lots of interesting things about Pittsburgh. Great photo opportunities too.

It was awesome sauce! Went with girlfriends and had a marvelous time.

Very excellent time my wife and I had on the sunset cruise. Sights were beautiful and food was delicious. Crew was very professional. Only complaint I may have is that we had to pay for parking. Other than that very much worth every penny. Definitely will be back again!

Went for sunset dinner cruise. The food was not good at all for the price. Everything tasted like it was frozen food heated up. Bartender didnt even know how to make drinks that were on their drink menu- though very friendly and apologetic about it. The boat itself was not clean and very dated looking. Best views were outside, but people are allowed to smoke everywhere outside, so hard to get any fresh air... I will say, despite all of this, the service was very good and the staff was very polite. I would maybe go back on the Gateway Clipper fleet for a tour or something like that, but I will pass on ever taking the sunset dinner cruise again.

I brought a client here today who specifically requested this boat tour. I had never experienced the Gateway Clipper fleet and did not know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the ship was clean and able to accommodate everyone on the upper deck with seating. It also was not crowded at the 11am tour which added to the experience by being able to move about easily. The Bar/snack area was modest but had enough to tide you over with a hangry kid if need be or a cocktail. After the first portion of the tour we went below deck for refreshments and snacks. The fountain Diet Pepsi’s tasted rancid and the bar staff brought us both replacement bottled waters immediately after bringing the issue to the bar staff’s attention. It was a fun, informative day and I honestly enjoyed it more than I thought I would! I’ll definitely be looking into an evening trip in the future!

Our family went on a tour with family from 3 different states to help introduce them to Pittsburgh. We had never been and were pleasantly surprised. It was both educational and fun. They have dinner cruises that I will definitely check out.

Delicious steaks! I had a New York strip steak that was very tasty! My partner had Prime Rib that was also good. Very affordable!

The Gateway Clipper was a fantastic experience! The dinner tour as a great way to celebrate a Masters graduation celebration with 13 people safely and a lot of fun! The food exceeded my expectations and the timing was very appropriate to eat and then enjoy the sights. The bar had an excellent suggestion and there was a dance floor or the open top of the boat for the remainder of the cruise. The timing, the scenery, and the experience was excellent and I would do it again! 5 stars!

If you want to get magnificent views of Pittsburgh and the history of the city you have to take this tour. This is our first time visiting Pittsburgh and it has been a homerun. The sights, the people and the food have been great. The weather cooperated as well. It has been a very entertaining trip.

My family and I did the Chicken & Ribs - Lock & Dam Dinner on Thursday, July 1, 2021 and cannot stop talking about our experience. The captain and crew members were all incredibly nice and the food was amazing. We purchased a captains hat for our son and it was so neat when the captain met us prior to boarding, signed his certificate, and allowed us to take pictures of the two of them. This is one night that we will definitely remember and cannot thank you enough. We keep telling our family and friends that they definitely need to do this tour. We certainly learned a lot as well. Thank you!!!

Booked a sightseeing tour, it was a nice quick adventure that I was glad we had the opportunity to do. They had food and beverages reasonably priced for riverboats. If you only are here for a weekend, I would recommend you do this tour, and sit on the right side of the boat if you are inside, narrator was loud and clear spoken so you could hear the sights well when passing.

Took shuutle to Pitt game last week. Nice smooth ride!

I love doing the Gateway Clipper shuttle for concerts. Parking is easy for 12 hours. No parking garage hassle, or traffic when leaving Pittsburgh. Its so easy!

This one was a childrens cruise. The performers and crew were very professional.

What an experience. The views are breath taking. Not expensive whatsoever. They give you a well brief description of Pittsburgh. I would highly recommend.

Had Ana amazing time, good music wonderful atmosphere, the food couldve been better. The chicken was very dry, the baked beans was just out the can and the mex corn was abnormal. For the price of the tickets the FOOD COULDVE BEEN WAY BETTER.

A group of 13 went and had a great time. The live narrator was very good and you get to see Pittsburgh from a different view.

It was a very nice experience as far as the boat goes. The Captains Dinner was the package that we purchased. The sights and staff especially the bartender was very nice. Our party had a few issues with food service however. One of the ladies with us ordered the vegetarian meal, which was supposed to be a pasta dish. She was the only one on the ship who ordered it. Side salads were waiting for us at the table with desserts upon our arrival. It was brought to her after we all went to the buffet and finished eating. That they could only offer her another salad and did not have an order for pasta. If you are not eating and are only going for sightseeing and the boating experience you will not be disappointed. The DJ was excellent as well. If you plan on dining and need special accommodations you might want to do the extra leg work of confirming your order the day before.

Very neat experience to ride and lots of different tours/trips you can take. We used it to get to PNC for a game to avoid traffic but you have to pay for parking so our overall travel costs were double what they wouldve been just parking near the field but we had a neat experience and avoided traffic!

This was a wonderful trip around the Pittsburgh point. Our out of town guests loved the trip and as long time residents taking it again after years was a real treat.

Their shuttle is a great way to avoid the parking hassles that Steelers gamea bring.

Great 1hr river tour of the city. I am from the outskirts and learned a bunch of knowledge. Veteran discount is very nice.

The employees are friendly. But this is not a toddler friendly activity. Any kid under 4 shouldnt even be charged.Online says there is drinks and food on all floors but there is not. Only the second floor has catering. Having a stroller made it really hard to have a good time. There is no ramp to the second floor or to the outside. We were told online that this was toddler friendly, but it is anything but.

So relaxing. Had an absolute enjoyable time. Definitely going to go again.

Very nice tour and the trip was faster than expected. A liitle pricey for just an hour an not alot of places to sit. Other than that, Jamal took care of the drinks and we had fun on this tourist must do!

We had the opportunity to hold my daughters Sangeet on one of the boats. Gateway provided food and soft drinks as well as space for the dances and the celebration. Everything went on well and everyone was satisfied with the facilities, food and drinks.

Lucked out with great weather in late October. Nice way to see Pittsburgh.

My wife and I went on the Sunset Dinner Cruise aboard the Gateway Clipper Three Rivers Queen. Everything was perfect on our evening. We had a really great meal and cocktails then we went out onto the deck for some sightseeing. All of the staff worked really hard to give us a great experience.

The Gateway Clipper Christmas cruise with Santa was so much fun. My grandkids...and my adult kids LOVED IT!
