Tiffini, our waitress was top-notch and the food was AMAZING. Highly recommend the delicious sherry crab bisque. Steaks were melt-in-your-mouth! They even brought out champagne when they found out it was our anniversary. We had a wonderful time and everything we had was wonderful and delicious.

We enjoyed our first visit to Ditkas tonight, presented with the surf n turf 10oz Fillet Mignon paired perfectly with a Lobster Mac n Cheese. These were preceded by an amazing set of Coaches Nachos and the best caesar salads we have ever had. Allow me to repeat, the BEST caesar salads we have EVER had. Tim, our waiter, allowed us to have an amazing date, as well as an exquisite first experience with the finest cuisine. The misses had the lobster tail with rice and coleslaw and could not have been happier. Thank you Tim for taking your time, you exceeded our expectations by far.

Bisque, Colossal Shrimp Cocktail, Bone In Rib Eye, Lobster Tail, Espresso w Sambuca. Absolutely amazing from start to finish and eveyone was incredibly nice especially Tori and Sherry.

Real nice experience for a special occasion but pretty $$$ the service excellent... quality food devine. I had a wonderful time had Steak with all works and shared a Seafood Tower with friends. Was so delicious forgot to take lots of pictures. I recommend for date night or anything special... worth it

In looking for a place to eat in an unfamiliar location, we saw Ditkas, which is described as an upscale sports bar, so we gave it a try and Im really glad we did! It is upscale (classy), well-staffed, but not uncomfortable or stuffy. Staff was friendly, on top of their game, and truly looked happy to be there! Ordered a Bloody Mary, which came with a nice skewer including a huge shrimp on top, along with a Makers Mark Manhattan, which included luxardo cherries and large cube of ice. Bread was nice. I have an egg and dairy allergy so the waiter (Chris - excellent!) offered olive oil with sea salt and fresh cracked pepper instead of butter (truly lovely!). We split a rack of ribs, which was large, meaty, and perfectly executed. Easily tied for best ribs Ive ever had. I asked for baby potatoes instead of fries and the substitution was no problem. This meal was easily splittable between two people and you might still bring food home. Total bill came to $54 plus tip, which was a true value. Dont let upscale keep you away from Ditkas. Youll be disappointed you missed it!

So I took my wife here for her very 1st time just because when we want something pretty good we usually have to drive 45 minutes to the city, well ditkas was a 20 minute drive and I told her I have had it before and its pretty good. Well needless to say I was completely wrong on my end. My wife was very pleased with her dish as it was really good. As for my dish I had the filet and lobster tail. With a restaurant running at 25% capacity how do you as a high end restaurant send out a filet that is so dry and tasteless? You should be pumping out the best possible product since you arent busy with numerous of customers. I have never in my life received a steak that was from a high end restaurant that was tasteless and dry. I didnt bother saying anything because everyone is already inconvenienced by the virus. But I will eventually give them another chance.

We had a excellent waiter named Chris. He took great care of us. The NY strip steak and prime Rib are really good there.

Got the rib eye Pittsburgh rare and ruined my future visits to other less-satisfying steakhouses. Probably wouldnt eat here if you like another steakhouse or it will never be the same. Stick to inferior steak.

Decent meal, light hearted atmosphere. All of the dishes we had were tasty, but not extraordinary. Standard steakhouse fare. Though, I wouldnt compare this restaurant to a typical elevated steakhouse dining experience because the inside atmosphere is more of a sports bar, just with with tablecloths and dinner lighting. The menu is also stuck in between catering to the hearty meat and potato type of offerings and typical a la carte style menu choices youd find in an upscale restaurant.

Though this was no high end restaurant. You most certainly were treated as though you were. One person took care of menus, another the drinks, one to serve the food and your waiter to attend to your whatever needs and table. Tables at restaurant were spotless and clean. Yes I did a spot check.... plus I did not get sick in any way and that is a bonus. The guests were really spaced out and limited:) Though it is not my choice to eat out, given the times that we are still in... it made me feel better. The the food was delicious especially the steaks, even though I do not care much for the particular way they were prepared. Cant wait to try that crab cake ;) next time. And last but not least. Josh our royal attendant was awesome. A-class service, he even invited the children in the conversation and it was the calm way he did it that made him and quality of his service memorable. You are an amazing person Josh. You make the restaurant worth revisiting.

Took 4 people to dinner including myself. 2 people had a wedge salad and wine, I had scallops and wine. The other person had an 8 oz fillet mignon. The scallops were terrible. 3 scallops for $36 and $46 for a non prime fillet. The bill was $246 plus a $30 tip. $276 for basically 2 dinners is beyond outrageous. I will not be returning. If you go be prepared to spend allot for less than average food. There are far better choices where you won’t be disappointed. This place deserves less than 1 star.

My husband brought me here for our 5 year wedding anniversary. I love the pot roast nachos so much. 💗 When I tell you that this was the best experience of all time, I mean it. We have been quite a few times but this time was beyond special. They brought us out a card, cake and champagne. However, the most special part was that the card was hand signed!!! Not stamped out or pre-made. The manager ,Adam, told us that the staff does it every morning when they come in. The experience was that much more special because of the care the staff took to make sure our day was extra special. I will honestly never forget the way we were treated by the manager Adam, and the rest of the staff!!

All 3 meals were missing somethingI ordered the BLT and didnt get any bacon, meal #2 missing English muffin and #3 Mexican omelet no salsa or guacamole and wanted sliced tomatoes but got hash browns. But I must say the bloody Marys were excellent.

Supposedly a high end restaurant and maybe it was at one time, but the carpet was frayed, the bathroom dingy. Not to mention the poor service we received. 2 adults, 2 children. Ordered pancakes for the kids...they bring out 1 syrup, order burger with a baked potato, get no condiments and no potato. Took them 7-10 minutes to bring out the syrup and condiments...by then my burger was cold. Had to keep flagging down our server. Their menu has items labeled GF, but the server had no clue about it and had to keep asking the kitchen. Very disappointed for the price paid...$71 before tip at lunch for 2 so-so burgers and 2 breakfasts. I dont even mind paying for good food...this wasnt good or worth the $$$.

My family had a lovely experience and meal. Our service was fantastic and attentive without being overbearing. The appetizers and salads were timed well. The main courses were cooked perfectly. 4 steaks, lamb chops, and salmon. Each request for cook type was met and accomplished the way it should be. Overall we had no problems or dinner errors. This is the first time we have made the drive to specifically eat at this restaurant. My wife and I will return again most certainly for another meal. It is not a cheap experience but the service and food was on par with expense. 6 people with apps, salads, drinks, mains, and a couple desserts was 520 before tip. Yes we tipped appropriately at 20%. Our server was excellent and worth it.

Absolutely first class service!!! Cheyanne our waitress was absolutely fantastic! The menu gives you lots of options and you won’t be disappointed! I highly recommend the 16oz NY Strip it was cooked perfectly!! So happy we came here.

I love this restaurant for special occasions. The food is amazing. Weve had prime rib, filet mignon, scallops and sea bass. The apps and sides are also delicious. Its hard to resist the warm rolls and butter. The servers and staff are great and make you feel welcome.

We had a great meal - the standing rib weekend special was excellent. Tried both the shrimp hors doeuvres and they were excellent. Service excellent & did not rush you through each course & delivered them separately when finished.

A really nice steakhouse with attentive service, although it can be a bit noisy at prime time. I throughly enjoyed their modern negroni (made with Hendricks gin) which had a very subtle flavour. Very generous portions on the orange sesame salmon and the raspberry sorbet dessert that I ordered. Will definitely stop in again next time I am in the area. 😄

Went there with a friend who used to work for me. His suggestion. Reasonably upscale for the suburbs. Decent menu and is similar to ruth Chris or hyde park.

I was looking for a breakfast place in Robinson on my way thru one day, and noticed a sign that said serving breakfast so I stopped in for a bite to eat. Very nice restaurant. The prices are a little higher then normal probably do to the upscale restaurant. What I didnt like was the burnt the bottom on the pancakes and still served them. Very friendly staff!

I come to Pittsburgh only for Ditkas. I live in Colorado and anytime Im in West Virginia. Although they no longer have the delmonico cut, the coffee rubbed bone-in ribeye was almost as delicious.Great atmosphere, great food, wonderful staff.

It was good a solid environment good was on the better end. But not quite there yet. The bisque was really salty. Still good but has some room to improve. At this point its just knit picking I would definitely recommend and in the area its for sure one of the best options.

Had a private party for my moms funeral. They tested us wonderfully. The food was excellent.

This is somewhere we’d never been before and decided to give it a try. We spent $210 for the 2 of us which does not include dessert. So bring the checkbook!! The servers are well dressed as well as the patrons, so you may feel out of place in jeans or shorts. They brag that the midwestern meats are flown in each day, being from the Midwest I hoped to have an awesome steak, it was okay but not as good as I expected. The sherry lobster bisque was phenomenal as were the fresh rolls. My raspberry smash martini was on mark!! But the main course failed to deliver the price paid.

Bar area was exuberant with some group so the noise level was high. But that did not stop me from enjoying my dinner of tuna poke and Caesar salad. Along with a couple of fine cocktails crafted by the bartender.Always a good stop while in Pittsburgh.

This dish in particular was perfectly put together. My server a young African American lady was above and beyond accommodating. Ill be sure to return!

I used to love Ditka’s. But they have changed their menu not for the better. The Chicken Pot Pie is a poor substitute for what it should be. They no longer offer homemade chips or Chicken Madeira. Anything that was good is gone. Won’t be back.

Great first experience at Ditkas. The French onion soup was delicious, as was our entrees - the Halfback filet and the Orange Glazed Ora King Salmon. We were very pleased with the portions of the sides - they are more than enough to share between two people. Brussel sprouts were cooked to perfection. Our waiter was very friendly and made our experience extra special.

We flew in this morning for a 90th birthday celebration with 4 generations of the family present. We had our own room and phenomenal service.The service was top notch. I would go back any time!The food was fantastic. The Mikes salad was excellent. Just delicious! The filet mignon was cooked perfectly to order, but I would have liked a little more seasoning. The cheesecake was incredible too!Highly recommend!

Extremely over rated. My girlfriend and I went. She started with some kind of fruity alcohol drink. We each got the steak that was $49.00 a piece. She got hers prepared medium. Mine was medium well. Both of our steaks was charred on the outside. We also got a side of the lobster mac n cheese. The lobster was like chewing on rubber. It was very tough. The mac n cheese part tasted ok though. For desert she got a triple chocolate cake. I got an ice creme dish covered in chocolate, caramel, and topped with pecans. Her cake was dry. It wasnt moist whatsoever. Now, I cant complain about my desert. It wasnt bad. This was the first time her and I have gone to an up scale restaurant. We thought it would be nice to dress up and have a nice dinner. If Ditkas is an example of what fine dining is, Ill stick to Applebees and Texas Roadhouse. Our bill came to $167.40 dollars. I left our server a $40 dollar tip because he did do an excellent job. So basically it was a $207 dollar meal. We really werent impressed. Like I said, Texas Roadhouse, Long Horn Steakhouse, and Outback Steakhouse has MUCH better steaks than Ditkas. I guess the old saying of you get what you pay for doesnt always hold true. I expected more from a restaurant of this caliber. We wont be back again. I learned my lesson....an expensive lesson at that.

Waitress was great / very knowledgeable about the food . Filet was cooked medium and was very dry internally. Honestly have had better steaks at the chain steakhouses. Disappointed for the cost .

We dined here for my fiances 30th birthday. It was our first experience here and it was impeccable!! The service and the food was amazing. Both of our steaks were cooked perfectly and everything we ordered was delicious!!! They even gave us a piece of chocolate cake with a candle and hand signed birthday card which really was a wonderful personal touch and made the evening so much more special, very thoughtful. We will definitely be returning :)

As good a steak as any I have eaten, as good a service crew as any I can remember, and as pleasant an experience as could be enjoyed during the pandemic. The cocktail sauce maybe just one tick below St. Elmos but a dynamite shrimp cocktail! No complaints and 5 stars here.

Having a not-so-great day - went to Ditkas for dinner. Ron was our server and from the moment he introduced himself, things improved rapidly. He may be one of the best servers on the planet. Food was really good from the perfectly cooked calamari appetizer through a crunchy, fresh salad to a delicious steak and lobster. Service was friendly and thanks to Ron, we never needed a thing. It was an incredible dining experience.

Normally, I try not to get take out when my meal is going to be 35$+, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of everything! Even the takeout boxes were sturdy and of good quality (thank god it wasnt Styrofoam)! Food was great (especially the sherry crab bisque 😛) came out with a smile, and in a timely fashion. Cant ask for more than that in 2020. Excited to come back to try some different dishes in house!

I ordered the Seabass the crab soup and calamari It was Amazing. My son had Lobster tail it was also delicious. The creme brulee was also delicious. Would highly recommend!!!

Our server was new, but very nice and helpful. Meals are obviously overpriced, you’re paying for the name. The food was excellent, especially the twice baked potato and bruschetta. It seemed odd that it wasn’t busier on a Friday night, but I guess we benefitted from that. $126 for two before tip seemed over the top, but absolutely no complaints about the atmosphere, food or service.

Prime rib was excellent. Service was good.Only complaint was the old baked potato. You pay $7 for a baked potato, you expect it to be fresh.The reduced rating was primarily because they charged us $15 for a mask because my mom forgot hers. Thats robbery and unforgivable.

It must have been an off night because our experience was less than stellar. My daughter order rare prime rib and the first time it came out it was medium-well. The second time it was a dry, unseasoned medium. She gave up on the prime rib and ordered a filet that came out burned at one end and cold (refrigerator cold) in the middle. My filet was ordered med rare and came out a dry medium. It was tasty so I ate it. Service was good, but for a $200 dinner I expected better.

So good. Not the cheapest BUT great quality and so yummy! I will be back !

Great service and food

Food was good. Chicken parmesan w/asiago gnocchi. BBQ spareribs cole slaw, fries, and salmon. All was good and done well all 3 of us ate well. No dessert for us left with full stomachs.

Expensive, less quantity and poor service.

Ditkas is a good, if rather pricey, place to eat. Situated right near Robinson Town Center, the parking lot leaves a bit to be desired. Once youre I side, however, the atmosphere is very cosy. The restaurant is crisp and clean, and the wait staff is generally excellent.The food is tasty and very good, but in my opinion shy of excellent. The seafood pasta is quite good, and I would definitely recommend it. They also have a selection of burgers, chops, sandwiches, and seafood. The cashew crusted tilapia is also quite good. The burgers are huge and could make 2 meals for a lot of people. Everything is cooked to order, and, again, is quite good.Therr is a lunch and dinner menu. They have so begun serving brunch on the weekends, though Ive not tried it yet. Pot roast hash, a selection of egg dishes, and other brunch favorites are on the menu.Prices are up there. The lunch menu is fairly reasonable, but the dinner menu tends to the expensive side. Again, nothing bad here, but Ditkas, for me, is definitely a special occasion only restaurant. Id absolutely go again, but not till a birthday or anniversary rolled around

Pretty dang good. If you want a steak be prepared to pay a few extra bucks. I had their steak burger (awesome) and their Mac and cheese (meh). The feel of the restaurant is pretty awesome. Apparently the coach himself comes to visit sometimes but you have to be sure to have a reservation.

Went there on Friday for my wifes birthday everything is great my son food was great my food was great my wife had Lobster it was okay a little bit rubbery, manager came out talk with us adjusted the check a bit everything was fine weve been there many many times just a little hitch. One of our favorite places will always go back.

The Coffee-Rubbed Delmonico is the best steak you can get in Pittsburgh in my humble but well fed option.

I ordered the takeout Thanksgiving Dinner with extra sides. I originally tried to order it by phone, but they said I had to do it online. I tried many times but it kept leaving out different sides. My friend picked up the dinner, took everything out of the bag and said theres something missing. The turkey dinner was missing! I called and they told me that I didnt order the dinner only sides. The manager told me if I give him 10 minutes, hell have one ready for me. My friend gets back and I said wheres the turkey? It was paper thin and did not look like turkey. The sweet potatoes were a tablespoon, the whipped potatoes had some sort of crust on top, but they were ok. That turkey dinner was $45.00. The sherry bisque soup was spectacular, I dont think we got a cup each. The salads were just greens with a few nuts to search for. No tomato, cucumber, olives were included. The carmalized brussel sprouts was overdone and tasted horrible.I liked the tiny pumpkin pie but my friend didnt. I wonder if they gave this awful dinner to those who dined in?? The extra sides totaled 66.00, but I think the manager took off $10.00. The total for this mess was around $100.00. Extremely disappointed!June Henry

Always great food. Love their French onion and lobster bisque. The pork chop is incredible and is pretty much the only restaurant I ever order pork from. Steaks are also fantastic. Lunches are much less expensive then dinner and are just as good.
