DDD case managers aren’t providing adequate service to clients. Working with individuals with mental disabilities, they have really screwed me and my clients over. Clients get new case mangers regularly and they meet with them only to take hours away and never hear back or back within a timely manner. Taking away hours based upon the client, who can’t express their needs well, not based upon what the guardian said they need and have historically used. They don’t authorize hours when needed, which then I can not work. They have screwed me over about 200 hours of work, let alone the regular hours they take away from my clients, yes more than 1. I love providing care to these individuals but the way the system is, it’s not worth it. A change needs to happen because this system is broken.

I called today 02/09/2021 and the lady that answer the phone was really rude, I ask about a application I submitted for my kid 2weeks ago and when she asked for the date of birth she just said in a really rude way “we don’t have nobody with that information “and she hung up

I contacted EDD services today theres a representative that answer the phone was rude and disrespectful she hung up on me twice when I asked her what was her name she hung up on me again call back she didnt answer and this during business hours called again she was rude so I called again to ask her her name and she stated its DDD services she needs to get out of there immediately
