Ive been renting with McMath for a little over a year. They have been very easy to deal with and always helpful and professional. Recently I had the unpleasant experience of having our AC unit fail in the middle of the night. By 8 am I had be in contact with my property manager and the repair company and had the unit fixed later that day. Overall the whole process was smooth, easy and handled with efficiency and professionalism. I couldnt have asked for anything more.

I cannot say enough good things about McMath Realty. We are new to investor property ownership and had lots of questions. Weldon McMath talked about the details of property ownership and even answered a bunch of my e-mailed questions on Super Bowl Sunday! Our property is a newly constructed home and Tyler Nick met us at the house prior to completion to answer any remaining questions we had. Tyler is great. He is very communicative and always returns calls quickly. He has worked with us very closely with the tenant during the 1st year of construction warranty period. I came in here expecting not great reviews from others, and was genuinely shocked to see a 4.1 star rating. What an absolute terrible experience with McMath over the 2 years we were tenants. Our original manager who did our original walk through was let go 2 days into our contract and all notes of the walk through were not transferred to our new manager, Michael. I’m not sure we could have dealt with a more unlikeable person. Flash forward to this week and we’re deducted funds from our deposit due to those house faults we accepted when going through the original walk through and were promised they were noted on their end, and wouldn’t come out of our pockets at the end of our lease. Add that on top of the 2 years of dealing with Michael... if I could give 0 stars I would. Glad to be out of that house and done with McMath.

Even though all requirements were met and stuff was submitted first they went with another applicant. Wouldnt waste money doing app with this company because doesnt matter if youre the first one to get in they do not care. Dealt with Tyler. Not again and would never recommend an unfair company like that.

McMath has managed my rental property for several years. They have excellent communication and their online portal makes it very easy to track everything going on with the property and gather financial information for taxes. Unfortunately I had to evict one tenant but McMath took care of everything and kept me informed at every step. I am now using them to sell my property and I couldnt be happier with the process. I would highly recommend using them for renting, selling and managing.

Weldon and his company are absolutely exceptional. I’m so pleased that I found a property manager that is professional, courteous, respectful, and most importantly gets the job done. Not only does he get the job done but he goes above and beyond to make sure both the landlord and tenant is happy. Weldon listed my property and within a week I had a tenant signed a contract to lease my property. That’s great!! I couldn’t ask for a better property manager and team to handle these matters. I live out of State and needed help. I definitely went to the right place with McMath Realty. Weldon responded to my inquiry right away and assigned Wendell to my account. Wendell worked tirelessly to get my house rented, working with my contractor and scheduling repairs, even put my trash cans away after garbage day. He was great about keeping me updated at all times. A lease was signed in just short time (I believe about 2 1/2 weeks) and now I can rest easy.

We are a tenant entering our 3rd year living in property managed by Mcmath. Ive never dealt with such a responsive management company and appreciate them for their professionalism, as well as personal attention in our relationship. I highly recommend them for both tenants and property owners. Our owner is an out of town resident and Mcmath pulls everything together for us. My wife and I dealt with Richard whom at first was very matter of fact but after he got to know us a bit and we met, the experience was great. I now have a better understanding of where he was coming from and he knows what I said is true not BS. We had an issue, I called but was asked to put it in writing via email which I did and it was resolved the same day.So far they get 5 stars!

Our a/c went out yesterday July 3 and as I am writing this the a/c company is here fixing it! I highly recommend McMath realty, we text the property manager last night and she responded immediately and took care of us right away!! Thanks Susan for taking care of us so quickly and professionally!

I know what Mcmath will say.. Its owners decision what to charge. Should have represented both parties in this kind of business- landlords and tenants both customers.. Every tenant whos dealt with them can testify their experience in how they were treated with charges. Security deposit doesnt mean much for some whereas it does for many. I wish Mcmath realize it for their own sake. If my comment sheds some lights for future tenants...

McMath Realty has managed my rental properties in Phoenix area for almost 10 years. I am very happy with the service and the majority of the tenants they have found are very good. My property manager always returns my calls. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good property management company in the Phoenix area.

Richard and team truly provide peace of mind. We have been renting our condo for over 4 years now with no problems. We live out of state and feel very comforted knowing they are managing our property.

From someone who dealt with them for 2 years. They dont lift a finger to help you. They make you do all the work. Got a leak? They send you the phone number of a plumber. You have to schedule them yourself. Broken appliance? Heres the number of a repair person. They take forever in responding. They also changed reps in the middle of the lease. The new guy had no idea what was going on at my property. They actually sent me a notice and fine about not putting the water in my name on time. They didnt even know that water was paid by HOA. But they were trying to make money off of me. So many hidden fees. They only tell you about the fees when they are due. No customer service skills, or even common human kindness or politeness. Not just a bad company, but bad people too.

McMath Realty has proven to be a good Property Manager for my rental properties. They have always kept us informed, been proactive and very good with our tenants. I highly recommend them.

We have worked with Michael of McMath Realty for a year now. He has been amazing to work with. The move in process was quick and easy. Anytime time we have a request or question he is quick to answer and take care of the problem. I would suggest him to any of my friends. He makes renting easy and enjoyable.*UPDATE*We lived in our condo for 3 years. We had no problems during the time there. We trusted Michael so I didnt go when he did the final inspection. That was a huge mistake. We were charged for anything and everything conveniently wiping out our whole security deposit with repairs mainly done by their own repair company. Not to mention majority of the repairs were things that could not have been caused by us (water damage to the ceiling that was there when we moved in). Also convenient that the owner wants to sell the place and used our money to fix stuff he had been putting off for 10 years.DO NOT TRUST THEM TO DO THE FINAL WALKTHROUGH ALONE. I guess the lesson learned is dont trust them at all and keep your guard up. I should have known this by all the other bad reviews of tenants.

McMath Realty has managed our properties for years and is the best property manager we have. I wish they could manage our other properties, but unfortunately the properties are not in Arizona. I highly recommend McMath to anyone looking for a great property manager.

I have used McMath Realty for roughly 4 years. Richard is the ultimate professional. Prior to moving out of state, I managed my own properties. Wow, what a difference. I wish I had Richard to manage my properties prior to moving. Would have saved me all the headches and thousands of dollars renting to less than stellar tenants.Richard is always responsive and knows how to screen tenants. He is fair, quickly reports issues, with suggestions to help with mutually beneficial solutions for me and the tenant. This results is tenant retention. So far, I have had one tenant who paid on time, kept the property spotless and recently moved after renting nearly 4 years. He quickly found another tenant and I cannot be more thrilled.I only wish they had offices in OH. I am having a terrible time finding a reputable company to manage my parents properties.

Been renting with McMath for a year now, and they are pretty good at helping me with whatever problems I may have with the house. Usually gets back to me on the same day when a problem arises.

Absolutely horrible. I was told 2 ladies with excellent credit were moving in - yet 3 boys moved in two days before the ladies were to move in.Rick Frank did not progam the thermostat so instead of being 78 only during viewing hours - it was 78 - 24 x 7 amounting to a $233 electric bill.I am not getting a full account of what $450 paid for in cleaning & landscape.Truly atrocious service.

I am a landlord. My wife and I was in search for a competent property manager as coordinator between us, tenant, HOA, and maintenance. Michael Momeyer from McMath has been a good communicator. He truly helped us by thinking in our shoes. He found us a tenant, talked to the HOA manager, ,considered our financial situation and made realistic recommendations. The experience is good.

I have been trying to get in contact with McMath for a few weeks now. I tried calling the realtor/property manager over our property with no answer (call screening Im sure). I also wrote in, certified mail, as per the written instructions given.Before move out, I spoke with the realtor (Tyler) face-to-face and he informed us that a $90 carpet cleaning would be deducted from our deposit and the rest would be given back to us. The return deposit check I received had $326 taken from it - a $150 carpet cleaning ($60 more than promised) and $176 for cleaning the property. Part of being a tenant is cleaning the property as it was when I moved in. My mom, grandma, dad, and I all spent HOURS scrubbing that place down. And Tyler was there to witness it as well. He made absolutely no mention of any kind of cleaning service involved, and our lease says nothing concerning a cleaning fee after move-out. There was absolutely no need for a cleaning service to come in after, especially when every item they listed as cleaning had already been cleaned by us! If McMath or the owners wanted a cleaning service to go in, then that should be their expense, not mine! I am extremely angry about the dishonesty from our property manager and the inability of the company to call me to discuss this issue.

Rude, tried to intimidate at final walk thru. Called and receptionist got attitude . I am not a rude person , I believe in being fair but the people I dealt with were rude for no reason.

Absolutely do not rent through them. I paid a professional cleaning company and hired a carpet cleaning company. Did final walkthrough and the said it was good. Charged me $130 to trim the bushes, $254 for cleaning (was already cleaned professionally), $160 for nail holes (I filled them all), and $175 for carpet cleaning....agian. Every time there was something wrong with the house i.e. broken fridge it was my responsibility to call the repair company. I still have no idea what they actually manage. So a total of almost $720 was stolen from me, and they will not talk to me about it, I have to deal with the owner of the house who Ive never met and lives 1000 miles away. Again, I provided all receipts for cleanings and the final walkthrough went well. Good luck.

I will never ever go through MCMath again for leasing a home. I have never experienced such bad customer service. My lease was up dec last year following move out we had the home professionally cleaned ,carpets cleaned, front and back yard properly maintanced and cleaned and no damages done to the property whats so ever we returned it in perfect condition (never late on 1 payment) just like when we moved in ,We even included a brand new garage opener that was purchased from homedepot still in the packaging because the one they gave us at move in was almost broken & we included it with both keys once it was time to turn property back over within due date ..Of course just like mentioned in our contract and common sense these are the type of things that need to be done to a house to get your deposit back because stated in their email there will be a walk through inspection . WELL 1 month later I receive 400$ back of my 1200 deposit with them including a false print out of expenses from there little company they use to make repairs while your living there. the paper did not look legit at all, saying they had to pay for professional cleaning , carpet cleaning, and yard maintance . If they did a proper inspection of the house theres no way in hell any of that would of been needed twice they take your money like thiefs! when I called and spoke with Lisa I believe it was the manager usually I speak to Susan whos most of the time rude as well lisa said I need to go through the owner via letter. After that much of a hassle and getting upset It wasnt worth the stress any longer. If I had the money for an attorney best believe I would of sued! TAKE MY ADVICE THIS COMPANY IS DOWN RIGHT DISGUSTING!

McMath Realty charged me $1,200 (rent amount) after I had informed them I would be moving out of the home. My lease was over for two months and I had been paying month to month. Their justification for the $1,200 charge was that I had not turned in the keys to their main office which I had through their after hours drop box. They kept my $500 deposit and sent a total of $2,600 in charges to NCC business services for them to collect. NCC tacked on an additional $1,200 in their own charges for handling the case. McMath had left me in a home without a working A/C unit for days at a time & also never fixed a leaking skylight that I have multiple email requests to have fixed as every time it rained the living room would flood. After their WONDERFUL tenant treatment $3,100 in charges and $1,200 in collection charges Im not left with a $3,800 collection charge on my credit which is prohibiting me from changing my financial situation for the better. As a home owner I would never want a company like McMath to manage my property as they dont respect your home or your tenants. As a tenant I would rather sleep on the streets than work with a company that has no respect for the tax paying citizens they scam daily. The owner of McMath Realty needs to take a strong hard look at their shady business practices. All in all keep seatching for a reputable company.
