I have to say that Mid-City has been the best storage facility out there. They have given me exceptional service with a personal touch. I am going to keep my current unit for a while. I have tried 2 others but nowhere have I found the service I receive here. My experience with this family owned business has been top notch and worry free. I have rented storage space at Mid-City for the past few years. Karl and Andy have provided great customer service during that time. They are very friendly and have worked with me as I have changed units several times as my needs have changed. Clean, well organized facility and easy access to my storage.

If I could leave no stars, I would. Before choosing to store my belongings here, I read the reviews and was convinced they’d be great. I was completely wrong. Went to pick up my belongings from my storage unit and found my bed and other items ruined and moldy. Hanging directly outside of my unit is a poorly placed water hose and the bottom of my unit was not completely sealed off - so there was a gap, allowing water to easily leak in to the unit. This was also a temperature controlled unit that Andy had convinced me to pay extra for and selected for me to use. In an attempt to speak with either Andy or Karl - I was immediately brushed off and told they were not responsible for the damages, until I firmly asked to see my contract. Enclosed in all of my paperwork was an agreement form that I had signed when I first moved in, to pay extra for insurance. However, apparently the form I signed was never entered into the computer and because of their laziness, sloppy work, and unprofessionalism, I was penalized by having to throw away an expensive mattress and a few other items I had stored. There was no remorse or any sense of responsibility on their end for not doing their jobs appropriately. They were completely rude about the entire situation. I thought I would have a peace of mind knowing my belongings were safe, but I was wrong. I am very disappointed and unsatisfied and will never do business here again. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone, ever!

What makes Mid-City stand out from all of the other storage facilities in Omaha (I have used 3 of the more prominent ones in Omaha) is the front desk staff. While I can only recall 2 names (Andy and Tay), I have found them all to be polite, professional and personable.

For the last three years, Ive rented storage space here for my business. Im in and out almost daily and access is easy. Excellent people and great customer service as well.

Both the employees for pickup and drop off of the truck rental were very friendly and curious. Definitely recommend renting your u-haul truck from them.

We put items in storage mid-May and when we pulled them out Mid-August, only 3 months later, they were FULL of MOLD and smelled. My son and college roommate lost more than half their belongings. Be sure to read the fine print in the contract - it says that Mid-City is not responsible for mold, rodent damage etc. unless you take out their renters insurance. I was talked into a climate controlled unit by the manager at an additional monthly charge and thought the items would be safe. Theres clearly a mold problem here. Left 3 messages for the manager and did not receive a return call. Will definitely be storing things elsewhere next year.
