Eric is un professional and extremely unhelpful. I have a jandy aqua pure salt cell that is supposedly three months old that was already replaced under warranty once. I have had a few conversations about this and always get the run around about what work was actually done and what is/isn’t covered under warranty. Even told them the salt board was showing an error code stating low current to the cell and still nothing, was just told to clean it. I sent a picture where the DC chord has completely corroded and again only three months old. I can’t get any help from anyone at this company on this issue. I would not recommend working with this company for a build or anything long term.

All of our dealings with with James Butler and his crew at Olympic Pool and Spa have been Great. He always responded to my communications promptly. He is very knowledgeable and the work looks amazing. We are thrilled! Before hiring Olympic for major renovation work, we were provided with references. We had a serious problem caused by another contractor. Several contractors told us there was no fixing it, and that we would have to tear out the inground pool and replace it all.However, James explained exactly what could be done and quoted it. All of his references said he is a genius, and that we would never regret hiring him and his crew. They were correct. Our story ended with a happily ever after.Thru it all, they have always been very professional. This was a few years ago and our pool is still Perfect!P.S.I posted this exact same review on Yelp

James has been really great to work with throughout this whole process. They just finished our pool and it turned out amazing. We wanted a little kiddie area for my daughter and they exceeded our expectations. We also wanted a basketball hoop and slide that they also did great work with. She already loves this pool and I imagine there will be many years of great memories that come out of it. I highly recommend James and his team!

Scheduled appointment online, had a conversation about the issue with my pool, took time off of work and waited for someone to show up, nobody showed up. I called to find out why and was told they were scheduling a week out. They could’ve informed me of this during conversation instead of leading me to believe that someone was going to show up at the requested time.

I have been a customer of Olympic pool & spa for 7 years and used them every year to close my in ground pool. They had been responsive, fairly priced, and excellent in their work. I am not sure what is going on now but I have to assume they are now having some sort of new difficulties running their business. This year I had a mechanical problem with a shut off valve that had to be repaired before the pool could be closed. I also wanted a quote on a new liner for the spring. So I was requesting three services. I first called a month and a half ago and they told me no problem their team would be out the next week. That came and went and so I called back in. They told me the owner needed to do estimates on liners and and he would call me. Another week goes by, I call back in and say forget about the estimate i just need the pool fixed so it can be closed properly. Same thing...they will call me back to schedule. Three more calls and a month later and I got no further despite my persistence and agitation with the situation. Two different employees continued to tell me they had left messages with James and could do no more. I have yet to receive a phone call. I have since had to find another company and beg them to come out and help me before the snow falls. As a small business owner myself it pains me to write this review but I hope it can help them return to their prior service level. And if they are having issues I truly hope it gets better for them. Unfortunately they have lost this customer.

We love, love, LOVE it - Is just like a brand new pool. Cant say enough good things about them - so friendly, knowledgeable and dependable. James, the owner, engineered and put in our pool 15 years ago, and we have been using Olympic Pool & Spa for all of our needs ever since. His team is the best! We wouldnt use anyone else.

I had a 18X36 pool installed late last summer 2019. The pool itself was precisely installed (location & level) and materials used seemed very high quality and well constructed. James (owner) and his crew had the pool itself in working condition in less than 4 weeks and James communicated almost daily about progress and next steps. I would recommend Olympic Pool & Spa if youre thinking about having an inground pool installed.

James and every single one of his crew are extremely knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. They are fast and are always there when they say they will be. James was very thorough in explaining details to us and helping us come up with a design that would fit our budget and look amazing. Her has tons of experience and will keep you informed every step of the way. We loved working with them and extremely happy with our new pool! Its gorgeous and you can tell that the team here cares about the quality of their work as well as you as a client. Very satisfied and would highly recommend!

It has been a pleasure dealing with Joni, as I felt she gave me a great price and great service after the sale and delivery. Eric was wonderful about coming to our house and making sure our chemicals were right and then provided valuable information during set up. So far, everything is working great. I highly recommend Olympic Pool and Spa . If you would like a pool designed and built they are the best . Great attention to detail and superior quality. The Spa’s are outstanding and have some very nice features. The staff there is highly professional and knowledgeable.

James and his crew built our pool 4 years ago. We are thrilled with the construction as well as the low maintenance that he promised. We have had contractors ask if its an Olympic pool and when we ask how did you know they say you can always tell if its James pools because he knows exactly where to put the swimmers and water pumps to ensure the pool stays clean. When we move we will build again with James.

Called June 1st requesting service on my spa. I spoke to a male and was told it would be at least a week and I would be called the day before. On June 8th we had the death of a close friend so getting my spa serviced was not at the forefront of priorities and I actually spaced it off. On June 21st around 4:50, I called asking about the service. This time a female answered and she said she couldnt find where I had service scheduled. She said she would call me back by the end of the day but there was no call Friday evening or Saturday. I called at 9:00 a.m. on Monday and this time a different female answered and she says that they are not doing work in Iowa at this time because they are behind on pools. I was told it isnt spa season (funny, Olympic was pushing them in April, per their website). I was given the name of a guy that will do service in Iowa, but I have only gotten a voicemail and no call back. I will not use Olympic again nor recommended them. I guess those of us with spas arent as important as pool owners.

Pool was out of commission for over 15 years. Joni, James, and their crew really took care of us from beginning to end. James always kept in touch and answered any questions I had. Before and after. It looks like a new pool. Thank you very much.

They winterized my pool in the fall of 2018 and a year and half later I am still finding missing parts that they did not leave at my residence. Last year I had to order a new pressure Lace for my filter. My filter leaked all last year and I discovered this spring that they took off with the rubber gasket for my drain plug.To boot the owner called and complainedabout my lack of payment and I never sent the payment cause they never sent me a invoice to pay from. Very rude to boot

We have had a great experience with Olympic pool, from the install to openings and closings. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend them to anyone putting a pool in.

Very easy to purchase a hot tub from them. Very difficult to set up delivery. My favorite part was when I set up my teach me how to use it appointment for 11 with delivery and set up before that and I discovered after making it home promptly at 11 as promised that it hadnt even been delivered yet. That was neat. Thanks for wasting my time. Its appreciated.

Awesome people to work with! When in there with a situation of being a new pool owner. Explained everything from the pumps to testing to adding chemicals. Originally went in because of my pool being green and foggy. I was in and out within ten minutes and my pool was fixed in less than 24 hours. Great customer service, will always be using them sir service and to buy chemicals!

They are always very helpful and test my hot tub water free of charge. They give me a print out and explanation no strings attached. I do buy my chemicals there when needed because I appreciate them helping me out even though my hot tub was not purchased there. I have looked on the internet and buying the products there doesnt really cost much more and I like supporting a local business. ( I wanted to add, my spa was purchased in a previous town, not while we lived in Omaha)

We are a former customer and all I said is correct. Your mistakes have cost us thousands of dollars.We built our Pool in 2007, and during the process and ever since then, all we have had is PROBLEMS! DONT USE THEM! One deep end drain doesnt connect to anything, pipes and equipment have leaked, sump pump was installed incorrectly, etc. Repairs have cost us at least 50% of the original pool cost.

They built our pool 10 years ago. They just put in a new liner for us. We have always been very happy with Olympc Pool. James and his crew do the job right, and are very responsive to questions and ideas. The staff in the Olympic store in Legacy are consistently helpful and knowledgeble. We love our pool. If we were ever to need another pool built we would be using Olympic.As far as extra pipes, we have two. One goes to a plugged inlet/outlet located in the side of our pool, were we ever to decide to use a dedicated suction or pressure side cleaner. This could also be used to install another skimmer were a problem to arise with one of the 2 existing skimmers. Such redundancy seems a good idea, and foresightful.The other pipe goes to a fenestrated drain pipe (French drain) which runs under the pool.This can be hooked up to a pump help remove excess ground water build up if needed, which in our area has proved itself useful.We are glad our pool company thought of these things.

I am not usually someone who writes or pays attention to these reviews but this was a case so egregious that I feel other people would like to know about it. Olympic Pool and Spa came out 3 times to fix my spa. After each time they charged a $90 fee and never fixed the problem. I decided to find someone else to fix it which they did the first time and I paid them. I paid Olympic the first visit charge and told them I wouldnt pay the other two. They sent my bill to collections without warning I had a judgement against me that destroyed my credit and cost me thousands. I cant get my house refinanced, I dont qualify for zero financing on anything I buy and even though I paid it immediately it still shows unpaid on my credit history after a year and a half. This business doesnt deserve your money. Hope this helps you. Its my only recourse.

Our swimming pool was built by Olympic in 2010 and we have had nothing but good experiences since. Always willing to help.

The worst customer service Ive ever experienced. The owner has a combative mentality when it comes to dealing with customers and has no understanding of how to conduct business.

I have used James at Olympic pool for about 30 years and they have always been responsive and taken care of my needs.
