I dont care what anybody says, being a woman and having to take your car to the shop is always a little bit disconcerting. You just never know what kind of treatment you are going to run into. You do not have to worry about that here, take my word for it. They treat you with respect regardless and will absolutely not rip you off.

European Motors was heaven sent for us; literally! We needed a Range Rover fixed that couldnt be repaired out of state where it resided. We had it towed just under 200 miles to have European Motors diagnose and fully repair the issue. From the start until completion they were very responsive and communicative all during the process. We are extremely pleased with working with Katrina and Chris. Our only regret is it took us this long to find European Motors existed!

I absolutely recommend European Motors. We were having major problems with our BMW, a previous mechanic and the warranty company. We decided to get a second opinion and brought our car here. Not only was our car repaired correctly the first time, but Katrina went out of her way to help us figure out what the previous mechanic was doing wrong, and she handled all communications with the warranty company. Katrina is hilarious and an obviously caring person. She had me smiling within minutes despite of my aggravation and frustrations. Very pleased with the service and friendly enviroment at European Motors.

I had recently taken my VW to a large local VW dealer. The dealership told me that I would be looking at a 1,100-1,500 repair bill for the coolant system leak. European Motors said the problem was a coupling that just needed to be connected all the way. Wow...no big bill..just honest technicians!I would recommend this company without reservations! I will be using them for any issues that may arise in the future!

Like many, I also ignored the negative reviews and wrote them off as anomalies. Unfortunately, they were EXTREMELY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and CONDESCENDING. Most of the good reviews must be fake. So I called the day before to have them work on my car and they said that they could take a look at it the next day. So I told them I would call back as soon as I get a tow set up. The next day I get a tow and I called them as a courtesy that my car would be there in 30 min. They said absolutely not, they have no space, things changed (no explanation), and they could not work on it for another few weeks (and that they could not store it inside or outside the building). They were not able to offer a simple explanation or apology all while being very nasty. They said I needed to make an appointment to bring the car in, but when we spoke the day before she made no mention that an appointment was required (only that they could look at it the next day). Their website evens says Walk-ins are welcome but we encourage a phone call first. Clearly, they do not care about their reputation and customers. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! For any legit car repairs/maintenance check out SLM or Cordel’s.

I want to say that I can completely recommend Chris at European Autos! I was told at another place that I needed to replace my axle assembly, that the boots were ripped. As a woman in my seventies, this was unfamiliar territory. The repair would be expensive. I decided to instead trust Chris with my 2004 car for a new timing belt--which I did need-- and the new axle assembly. Imagine my surprise when I went to pick up the car and was told the axle repair was NOT NEEDED. When I anxiously asked if he was SURE, he pulled the car back up on a hoist and showed me the part. Even I could see that the parts were just fine. How EASY it would have been for him to just go ahead and do the requested repair. My faith is restored. He was so kind, patient, HONEST, and really knows his trade and takes pride in it. I wont go anywhere else.

I can do a lot of basic work on my three Volkswagens (2013 Beetle, 2017 Tiguan, 2005 Touareg). Whenever I get stumped or need heavy lifting I go to Chris. Recently I had Chris install all new brake rotors and pads on my 2005 Touareg (50K miles) and replace my timing chains and associated hardware which required pulling the engine. The VR6 motor in the vehicle is generally mounted transverse however in the Touareg it is forward facing which puts the timing chains against the firewall. So to repair and replace chains you have to pull engine. Lot of work and complexity replacing the dual chains. Bottom line Chris did a great job car runs and sounds again like a European sports car. The brakes are as good as when I drove car off lot in November of 2004. None of my VWs will go to the dealer for any repairs and will continue to use European motors.

My husband car was in this shop for a diagnostic test we came back two days in a row before the posted closing hours and the shop was closed and we could not pick up our vehicle. Well today I go there well before closing time to pay for the diagnostic test so we could pick up our vehicle and as I am going to get my son out of our vehicle the wife of the owner slammed into us backing into our parked car. There was no apology asking if my 3 year old son was ok or if I was ok because of the impact. The owner was blaming me as if I forced her to back into us. The police officer advised us if this accident was not on private property they would have cited her for improper backing up. The police officer even advised for us not to do business there because of how they treated us. We will never do business here. EVER. Not to mention she left the scene of an accident and came back after I called the police again. Very horrible experience for me and my 3 year old son. Shame on you European Motors.

Never taking my car back there. Some of the worst service Ive ever seen. . My car had a busted tail light assembly, a disconnected bumper and a vacuum leak. They didnt even bother to fix the tail light or the vacuum leak. I didnt receive a single bit of information regarding the state of my car until we had shown up thinking that a relatively simple task that could be finished in under 2 hours would be done. I figured that because I had made my appointment a week and a half ahead of time that my car would be done that day but apparently not. They also tried to overcharge me 1000$ to fix something that would cost about 100$ to fix. The people were nice but I would not take my car back there.

On December 26, 2016, needing to first drive to Lincoln to get my grandson, then drive to CHADRON Ne --about 500 miles away one way, for a weeks visit, an hour before leaving, my Saab had a high-pitched squeezing sound from the motor when starting. The noise came again when doing an errand nearby. Uneasy about starting a long trip (CHADRON was also having a blizzard), I drove straight to European Motors with little time to spare (and with hotel reservations in North Platte that now cannot be cancelled) to check this squealing sound. Luckily I did! There was no way to make that drive! There were two problems diagnosed. Since it was Dec 26th I was not likely to find a car to rent with little notice. I explained my situation. Amazingly, after discussion with his wife, Katrina, Chris lent me his own Saab, after quickly checking all fluids, while I transferred my suitcase and packages to the trunk. He then took it for a quick spin and it was ready ON TIME to still make the planned pick up of grandson in Lincoln and hotel in North Platte. Once on the road, I noticed Chris had filled the gas tank during the spin!! How many technicians do you know who actually CARE THAT MUCH about your situation and needs to lend their own Saab after Christmas for a trip adding 1,000 miles and for a week!!? I am so grateful. When I returned, my Saab was repaired and running fine. This was not the only time I can describe such caring service. I live in an apartment complex with a parking garage under 3 floors. Shortly after buying my used Saab it started honking on its own TWICE during the day at work and I realized, the second time, near 5:00 pm, that I would be in trouble--possibly having it towed away--if it started honking again at the apartment during the night!! With little time to spare, I called European Motors (as they close at 5:30) and was relieved that I could bring it in, and was given a loaner for the following day. I am sure the vast majority of technicians in Omaha, IF they were answering that end of the day phone call, would not have been so accommodating!!European Motors not ONLY takes care of your car, Chris and Katrina genuinely care about YOU THE DRIVER and your situation--very helpful and relieving your stress! They go way above and beyond to meet your needs! Katrina is so cheerful, warm, and pleasant. European Motors treats you like family--caring about your safety, and relieving your stress, not just a repair service where you get a number and a seat. The work is diligently performed. The problem is discussed; options given; estimates made. I recommend European Motors: excellent service WITH A SMILE AND A HEART!!!

I recently purchased a used Saab from the owners of European motors. Three weeks after, the Check Engine light came on. Fearing that my recent purchase was going to be costly,I turned it over for the necessary repairs. They reassured me that it just needed a software update, which they did free of charge. After taking it home, I popped my hood to refill the windshield wash and lo and behold, the Direct Ignition and other parts which were working, but slightly worn out were replaced with genuine, brand new parts, probably costing hundreds of dollars. If that isnt service, I dont know what is. Just because they arent the cheapest mechanics out there, doesnt mean that their service suffers. And if you trash your cars, they will let you know. Think of it as a favor more than a critique.

I have been a client of European Motors for 8 years. It is important to me to pass along a compliment when deserved. During the course of the past 8 years I have been very blessed to have the team at EMS looking after me my family and our automobiles. Chris, Katrina and their team have earned my business time and again with their tiring work ethic, superior expertise, friendly customer service, and highest level of integrity.I have entrusted Chris and his team with all of my vehicles: Aston Martin DB4, BMW M5, BMW X5, Audi A6, Detomaso Pantera, and each of my current and previous Porsches. Not once have I felt the job was too much or too complicated a job for them to handle. I have found their wide range of expertise on all marques to be nothing short of incredible. One instance found me at the shop with a problem on a 2013 jeep grand Cherokee srt8 which the dealership I purchased it from was unable to diagnose, it took the crew at EMS 10 minutes to identify and diagnose. My only complaint with EMS is I find myself feeling guilty at times watching the labor they put into my projects.. I have seen Chris put in 20 hour days to get me on the road, even if it is only for a car show or event. You dont find this kind of dedication often. As a car guy who loves his vehicles, I feel so very fortunate to have EMS in town to handle my automotive needs. I have referred many, and will continue to do so in the future.Trent J. Abbott
