I LOVE that Lyles will tell you what should be done now to make your vehicle safe to drive and what could wait. They dont pressure you to spend all of your money. They gave me a quote a year ago to fix my a/c and when I finally saved up the $, they still honored that same price. It is nice to be able to trust your mechanic and we certainly trust them.

The good reviews don’t lie. Been there a few times now – the big one was to get a steering rack replaced a year and a half ago. They did an excellent job with it (still going strong), and the price was very fair. Went in again today for a noise, which turned out to be loose lug nuts (not related to anything they did – the wheels have been off several times since then). They tightened them up real quick w/out charging anything and sent me on my way. Every time I’ve been there, the whole team has always been very professional and honest. I’m glad I’ve referred several people to them over the years. They are definitely my go-to for repairs.

You need a garage, and you need it to be Lyle’s. Matt, the mechanic, was able to somehow breathe life back into a rusted pile of love resembling a 2003 Ford Explorer. They even took off rusted side parts which could have possibly started some sort of tetanus-based apocalypse free of charge. My neighbor’s kids will live to see another day! The price point, efficiency, communication and service were unmatched. And the front desk lady (I didn’t catch your name, I’m sorry!) was not only extremely courteous and professional, but super personable.This is the mechanic for you. This is the only place in town Ill ever use or recommend for car issues. They genuinely value their customers and take pride in their craft. Ive dealt with auto-body shops that cost so much more, repair my car in a couple of days and Im left with the same, if not more, issues. Lyles does their due diligence and I am comforted by the time they take, regularly calling with updates. I would not be surprised if it is a family business, as they work with that pride and integrity. It is so rare to find a shop looking for every way to up-sell you, but Lyles conducts their business with character and they will work hard for you. I never leave comments, but auto repair is confusing and stressful. Lyles kept me completely at ease.

I took my truck in for something I thought was broken, turns out it wasnt what I thought it was. They took care of the real issue and even kept the old parts to show me what was going on. Will definitely use these guys in the future! And will recommend anyone that needs a mechanic to them!

Slow to attend to issue. They give excuses to delay attending to a warranty and was told that I could take my car somewhere else and not be refunded if I was unhappy. Prices to high and an overall bad experience. I would never use then but am stuck with the warranty.

This place is amazing! Most affordable place in town and super honest. Their front desk worker April is beautiful inside and out. I dont know the second mechanics name ,but Matt is awesome! Theyre super reliable, fast, and honest. The first place in town that hasnt tried to up charge me for stuff I dont need. They will let you know whats necessary and whats unnecessary. There was a few repairs on my car that were just superficial and there were ones that actually affected the running of the car. They actually went out of their way to tell me which things were unnecessary and which were actually needed.The first time I came here they quoted me a price 500 dollars less then Rileys auto was trying to charge me. The thing you have to realize is that other nicer looking places in town are trying to cover their fancy buildings rent and overhead. Lyles auto doesnt do that to their customers. Stay away from all those fancy places folks, they overcharge and cheat people to make their quota. Thank you April and Matt for your integrity!

Fantastic customer service! We look for honesty and good workmanship when it comes to our cars dont we? This place was near my job and so I took a chance because I didnt have time to take my car to my usual place in Council Bluffs. I called my mechanic to tell him what was wrong with my air conditioner and he gave me a quote over the phone, along with what likely needed to be done. Armed with information, I called Lyles and even went as far as to tell them what my mechanic quoted me, thinking it was a good price and could not go over that. I was shocked when April at the front desk expressed confusion as to why they would quote me so high for what I described. My A/C job went from the expected $170 to $60 at Lyles! Its been 3 weeks and its still holding its charge beautifully. They told me they put dye in the system because there was a possibility of a leak and that I should be prepared to return. All on the up and up. I have a new mechanic!

This was the worse experience Ive ever had. As a single mom and dealing with multiple small automotive shops in the Omaha area, this is one I will NEVER recommend. Everything I went through with this company is simply UNETHICAL. They didnt call and tell me everything that was wrong with my car before they fixed what I THOUGHT was wrong. She told me I had a 2-3 week warranty on the part that was put on and if the real problem isnt fixed in that time frame, then they wont honor the warranty! So basically tried to strong arm me into getting the REAL PROBLEM fixed with her shop. I HAVE NEVER EVER EXPERIENCED THIS! Even mechanics off the street look before they fix and she simply showed no empathy, sympathy or anything. Yea the price was cheaper but thats because she claerly got a used part with only a 2-3 week warranty. Her business hours shows she closes at 5pm, however when I went to attempt to speak in person about this at 4:45 pm, the doors were locked. Just unprofessional and completely unethical.

I wanted to give these guys a good review, I really had high hopes. The woman that works the phone and front desk is as sweet as can be and was a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately, there seems to be some issues with their mechanics. I had an engine replaced in my Pontiac vibe and was excited about the reasonable quote Lyles gave me. The car has been a consistent problem since having with work done. There is now a rattle when it runs, it gets terrible gas mileage, it barely goes into gear, and it idles far higher than it should. I took it back repeatedly and was dismissed about my concerns, they even tried to tell me it was just a coincidence. I finally ended up taking it to another mechanic who then called Lyles and that mechanic said Lyles flat out lied to him about what they did to the car (changed spark plugs, fuel filter, etc). Unfortunately after paying thousands to Lyles for the work to be done and being told the new engine had a warranty, I have a malfunctioning car that barely goes into gear, and the mechanics at Lyles just kind of shrug when I tell them whats going on.Pay a little more money and get someone who knows what they are doing :/

Several times they’ve saved me thousands off of dealer quotes and usually they can offer a generous warranty. I always recommend them when I can, and they have earned my business time and again.

The guy Matt who works there does excellent service. I had a flat one day and filled it up and just made it to Lyles before it went flat again. Matt was able to get me a new tire for cheap and I got back to work. I always go there for my oil changes and will never go anywhere else! Thanks Lyles shop and Matt!

I got hurt so cannot do the work myself. I just bought a 2010 KIA SOUL 98,000 miles and 2.0 engine and wanted to change the timing belt. I called around and got bids from $850 to $12900. LYLES gave me a bid of $450 and then he did a inspection on the car I just bought from EXCLUSIVE MOTORS. Lyle found just the plates light inop and rear wheel well and told me spark plugs were getting worn. He could have like most added more things just to bring bill up but did not. The total bill was $550.00 for timing belt, all other belts, water pump, license plate assy. and rear wheel well. Again I would recommend his shop THANKS AGAINJOHN GRABOWSKI

Lyles is my first encounter with the mythical mechanic trifecta: trustworthy, competent, and affordable.Iused to hate taking my car in because I always left feeling intimidated, stupid, and duped. Ignorant of car mechanics, it was easy for technicians to convince me that my car had dangerous, urgent, and, unfortunately, expensive issues. Not so at Lyles. Theres no upselling or fishy diagnostics. Im grateful my neighbor referred me.

Wrecked my motor home now wont pay to fix it.it is in the courts now,so much fun to go threw all the missed time from work costs of a lawyer ect. full bbb file on him dont go wont honor nothing.trye to park up a four foot bank instead of parking it in the street where he found it. Tore all the plumbing/tank off the bottom of the camper.threw the broken parts up next to the fence and left.did not call me.bad bizz for sure.I have a 4x4 truck and i dont go up that bank.
