Cordel took care of my BMW’s air conditioning. I missed my first appointment, but I rescheduled. They never complained. They diagnosed the problem with my compressor in a few hours and repaired it in a day. I got into my car and everything was cool! Great and personal service at a good price.

Needed a new fuel pump. They got the car in, provided an estimated cost (was actually lower than original estimate), fixed it and had it back in 2 days this was after having to close earlier to move cars to a safe place because of a storm in the area. My experiences with them have been very positive.

The family was very accommodating and welcomed me when I first brought my car to them. This was my second visit and have already scheduled my next for repairs. A top notch company with top notch employees! A+

After being told by at least 5 different Mercedes dealers that they were not taking any Sprinter service appointments until October 2021 I googled and found this place. They were to set up and appointment right away and were able to do my first Level A service (and at 1/2 the price that MB wouldve charged me). It seems to be a family owned business and the owners were very friendly. They even pointed at a potential issue with my front tires (uneven wear) that I hadnt notice. I would repeat if ever in the area.

I took my car in for a routine oil change and a general overviews of the car. They looked over the car and made several recommendations. They listed out the recommendations on an invoice and explained what they were, the severity iming to complete and how much each service would cost. I chose to fix a few and do the others at the next visit. The services were performed timely and were explained to me when I picked up the vehicle. Anthony and Andrea are very personable and knowledgeable about my car and I will be back for more service.

Both Anthony and Andrea were very courteous and accommodative. Great diagnostic and repair skills and offers alternative lower cost options. Im very satisfied with their work and would highly recommend Cordel Foreign Motors Inc. over most dealers.

I was in a bind for the repairs. They took the time to pit my car at the beginning of their queue and made all the necessary repairs so I could leave town as needed. The car runs perfectly. This place is amazing!!!! I’m sad I didn’t find this place sooner. I’ve always taken our cars to the dealership only to be over priced and to deal with bad customer service there.... but I just found my new car repair place! It was my first time at Cordel and the first experience and I was beyond impressed. They squeezed my car in last minute because I was going out of town. They also stayed late and kept their word about trying to get it done before the weekend. Also offered to come in on Saturday on their day off to fix it if he couldn’t get to it by Friday! Oh and did I tell you they didn’t even charge me for anything!?! It was our fault for buying something that wasn’t compatible with our car and they educated me on what I would need and even printed me out a picture! Don’t waste your time on going anywhere else but here!!!

The address listed on their website and Facebook page is wrong. When I called to schedule, I was not made aware of this fact. I got to the location they posted on their website 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment. I thought I must be missing something, so drove around the area for 10 minutes looking for the place. I finally called them to find out that they moved halfway across town and couldnt reschedule me that day. No apology for giving out false information.

Traveling from Florida to Omaha a light indicator on my dash came on. Stopping at the first place, they were unable to help me and recommended Cordel Motors, but did mention they were extremely busy. The friendly family owned business got me right in and diagnosed the problem. The fix was minor and they sent me on my way without a charge! Of course I tipped them and recommend their services highly for your Mercedes-Benz.

Response to Cordel Motors-I did not move back to Chicago in 2016, not sure where you got that from. I mentioned I would search for the quote, receipt or proof of payment if it would help, but you said it wouldn’t matter because your “system” does not show any service done. Not even knowing the make of my car shows how far your customer service really went to try and help POSSIBLY resolve this matter. From the start of our conversation, you did not even attempt to look into this problem. I tried offering solutions that may help and was met with being called “man” and told there’s nothing you’ll do. My new mechanic had a very hard time believing I had all four brakes replaced at the same time. He showed me the back brakes and they were FAR from new. Attached is a photo of the chunk missing from my rotor that you accused me of possibly hitting a pothole or rock. Again, anyone thinking about getting their car fixed in Omaha should go elsewhere. I don’t write reviews but dealing with this company has been horrendous.Original-DO NOT USE- I don’t normally post ratings but felt it was important people think twice about using their services. I went to cordell to have my brakes replaced. After “replacing” all four pads and rotors, I relocated away from Omaha. When getting my car serviced and inspected at my new location, they notified me that my back pads were cardboard thin and showed me a picture of the rotor having a huge chunk out of it. Not having driven my car more than a few thousand miles (mostly sits in storage), there was no way they should been worn this much. I attempted to call Cordell Foreign Motors but was told my information was not in their new system and they couldn’t do anything about it. Worst experience at any auto mechanic I’ve ever had.

Based on what I’ve heard , and after reading the reviews, I don’t think I’ll ever bring my car here. I was looking for a good shop and doesn’t look like this is it.

Very happy with my experience here! Very friendly shop that does quality work in a timely manner. Their communication was great through the entire process and they even helped me save a couple hundred dollars. Would very much recommend seeing these guys if you drive a foreign car and have service needs!!!

Tough finding an affordable VW mechanic that knows what they are doing. First time using Cordel but everything went smooth and I will definitely be using them in the future.

Ive never had a bad experience taking my 09 VW Jetta to Cordel. They are friendly, honest and make their services available even when they have a lot of work going on. Most recently, my car wouldnt start and the only place I could make it was AutoZone to get a diagnostic test. They said my alternator had failed. I bought a new alternator and called Cordel who said they would be willing to use the alternator I purchased to fix the problem. A few days later, they called and mentioned all they had to do was replace the battery.Moral of the story is how honest these individuals are. I feel like if I would have taken it anywhere else they would have replaced the alternator and battery based on what I had told them, and would say the alternator made the battery fail. I wouldnt know any better if that was the case as a customer who doesnt know much about cars.Cordel is great. If you ever have a problem with a foreign vehicle that you cant work on yourself, please take it into them. They will always take care of you.

You might want to take a closer look at who you send these to. 2010 Audi A-5. Over $4500 spent and I had to take it some place else to have the mistakes your tech made corrected. An additional $613.00, which I am still considering litigation in small claims court. Greg Sexton.

Friendly staff that makes sure you fully understand what needs to be done and why. The online portal is awesome as you can accept or deny any service you’d like and see the total cost. The car was brought in with a days notice and they had it ready in no time.

Not only did the shop do an outstanding job for me, they went far above and beyond what was required and made it clear that they very much value me as a customer.I brought in my English sports car that was having all kinds of problems after getting tired of my other mechanic doing a poor job.It needed to have some parts rebuilt and due to the shipping delays it took longer than anticipated. I needed my car for an annual tradition that we have done on Memorial day weekend, but due to the shipping delays it looked like we weren’t going to be able to continue the tradition.Well the fine folks at Cordel stayed late and busted their butts to get the car done the same day the parts arrived. They worked hard and stayed late on a Friday of a holiday weekend to get the job done.I picked up the car and drove it about nine blocks before it conked out. It was far past their normal hours of operation but I decided to give them a call. They answered, came and picked up the car and then worked on the Saturday of the holiday weekend. Mind you, I didnt ask or expect them to work on it over the holiday weekend.I was shocked when I got a call mid day on Saturday saying that they found a few small problems, fixed them and the car was running great.Not only did they stay late to get my car done, they supported me when it stopped working and then came in during the holiday weekend without being asked to do so to get the car fixed. Oh yeah, they didn’t charge me for the additional work and parts that were needed to fix the other problems that were not even their fault.Not very many businesses go above and beyond these days. And if they do it’s usually begrudgingly and as little as they can do.Not Cordel. Clearly they take pride in their work and value their customers. I was very impressed with how they handled the situation and will continue to take my car there for as long as they will have me.If you have a specialty car and need some help, I can’t recommend these guys enough.

They sent the computer out of the BMW to be repaired and now the car works again!

I had my van in other shop for two weeks, they couldn’t figure out the problem with cold start noise and low power.Cordel Foreign Motors figured out the problem right the way, told me that it will be fixed on Thursday and Antony was working till 10:00pm to get it done for me. They are hard working, honest people that keeping their word. I would definitely bring my van there again.

We didn’t know where to take our car, so threw a dart and hit the jackpot. We have now taken our 20-yr-old vehicle to Cordel Foreign Motors several times. They have problem-solved a couple of issues, communicated very well, and pricing has been fair. I don’t write many reviews, but this was warranted!

When my Sprinter Van went down and the dealership told me itd be over a month before I could take it in, we called Cordel. Understanding how important my van is to my business, Cordel was able to diagnose, and fix it within a couple days. Theyre a small shop who takes the time to hear out their customers and have the staff capable of solving the problem. Very nice and honest people who deserve the business. I wont take my van anywhere else.

I took my car to them for oil change some time ago, after a month or so the oil filter housing started leaking a lot oil. I started having all sorts of oil leaks, all over the engine. Well it turns out, they DIDNT change the oil. They just said they did and charged me for it (same amount dealer charges) but they didnt change oil at all not even a filter. So my car was driving with that same old oil it had previously. Next level cheaters

Took my 2006 Jetta TDI in for a timing belt replacement and the work was done fast and very good. 5000 miles and still no problems with the work they did. They have competitive prices and are knowledgeable on the work they do.

They were always very friendly when I went into the shop and my car has been running better than ever since they got their hands on it.Plan to go there again next time I need work done on my car.

Over the past 5+ years, I have taken in my Mercedes, a BMW SUV, and my Volkswagen Jetta in to Cordel. I have had nothing but excellent service with very fair prices. More than once, if a problem was identified, I would ask if it needed to be repaired right now and was often told its just something to keep our eye on. I have never been encouraged to repair something when it wasnt broken. I also like it is a family owned business with 60 years in Omaha!

My overall experience with Cordel has been very fulfilling in the sense that they were able to point out the exact trouble my BMW was causing and even fixed it pretty quick. Satisfied with the performance of the car after the work and would definitely go back to them for any future service.

Ive been going to Cordel for 13 years. They are honest and do a great job. Joel, Karl and Egon are all great to work with. Sometimes it may take them a little longer to get your car done, but I plan for that and actually prefer them to take their time since my jobs are usually longer in nature. If you let them know you need your car back, they will expedite and get it done.

They did a great job on my wife’s car. We where under a time crunch and they got it right in... we will be back again for more service.

I took my 1992 BMW wagon there to have the brakes serviced. My car is a piece of junk and they were very understanding in not fixing things I didnt want to be fixed. Joel was the guy I talked to and he was very friendly and didnt try to sell me anything I didnt want. They got the work done pretty fast (like a day and a half). I usually feel really out of my element when I take my car in somewhere, but here I felt very comfortable.

BEWARE!!! Unprofessional and Deceptive! Failure to communicate!They have had my car over a month! Ive called several times to check on the status and they come up with additional repairs needed or excuses that parts didnt come in. They initially quoted the repair would only be $1,200 and now are asking for almost $5,000! Surprise, Surprise! By the way they completed an inspection two months prior and said there was nothing wrong. They also admitted to driving my car HOME...where is HOME? How do I know that this didnt cause damage? RUN!

Cordel is a great shop and they definitely know Audis. Joel and Carl are particularly knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond for stellar customer service. I wouldnt recommend any other place in Omaha to bring foreign cars!

Ive been coming here for the past thirty some years. They are always fair and Ive never had an instance where the car wasnt fixed correctly the first time. Very trustworthy, honest service.

I will never return and would caution anyone considering taking their vehicle here. After 5 days I was told my vehicle was fixed and it wasn’t. The problem still persisted and was worse even though I was told it was fixed. They had the car for another 2 days. The communication from the shop about the possible problems with the vehicle and status of its repairs was unprofessional. I had to call repeatedly to get status updates. The tone that the owner and his son took with me makes me wonder if they have heard of the term customer service.

I have had my 2009 VW eos (which has been a nightmare for then) in several times for miscellaneous items and every time I have gotten honest advice and solutions to fix my issues. I highly recommend this team for anyone that has a foreign car. I also have a gl450 that needed a massive amount of work and I am so happy that I have brought it there to have it worked on. They are very knowledgeable and have an excellent team of people to get the job done!

They fixed one thing on my mercedes and broke another. Charged me to fix their mistake. A couple months later and the same thing broke again so Im taking it somewhere else. They also scratched my paint and were extremely rude when I brought it up to them and tried to resolve the issue.Otherwise they have good prices for fixing foreign cars.

Deceptive people. They have consistently taken advantage of my mother’s lack of car knowledge with her 1990 Mercedes wagon, then her 2002 Mercedes wagon. There have been many instances where the issues Cordel “fixed” just months before need to be fixed again. After 7+ years and $10,000+ in repairs for her 1990 wagon, their mouths watered when she brought her new (to her) 2002 wagon in. They managed to find high-dollar problems to fix that were not even mentioned on her buyer’s inspection.I gave them the benefit of the doubt for years, but one time I went in with my mother to get her 2002 wagon picked up, and the man’s condescending tone toward her was so unprofessional and disrespectful. We have since found a kind, courteous mechanic who doesn’t take advantage of my mother. Never again Cordel.If you must use Cordel Motors, PLEASE prepare yourself with mechanical knowledge about your car so you’re not as likely to be ripped off, or go with someone who is. Even then, I’d recommend against them.Note: This review should be dated 2011 (hence the “older” car models - they were much newer back then). I don’t suspect much has changed since then, and thinking about my mother’s experience with Cordel still hurts to this day.

Aaron ashlys moms car hasnt been in cordel motors in over 9 years and completly false information and defintly didnt spend near that amount ......Cs your information is all wrong your car had been totaled for mechanical failure. You also failed to mention that it was also a tuned car with aftermarket exhaust larger turbo larger intercooler and who knows what else aftermarket. Estimated repair cost was over way over what they did the job for.Michelle your engine was full of sludge from being over heated using cheap oil and from running too long on your oil changes they removed oil pan to replace your pickup screen that was plugged solid and didnt charge you for the work or the parts to fix your oil pressure to make your engine stop making noise

Do not take your car here!!Worst place you can go to! I never run into a ruder group of people you cant even reason with them!! Long story short they mark up part prices and fix stuff that you never told them to fix. Then they slap you in the face with a huge bill and expect you to pay it. Gotten a few repairs done here before. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, especially for someone like me who doesnt know too much about cars. If you have a Volkswagen, Volvo, Audi, etc these are the guys for the job.

I have asked for a quote on trim parts for my AUDI three times with no response. Disappointed.
