Scheduling online was fast and easy, and the regular schedule updates were an added bonus. John and Chris, our techs, were very efficient, friendly, and informative. The tech showed up right in the window they said he would and he fixed my cloths washer in 10-15 minutes. It was relatively an easy repair but did involve taking the panel off and I just didnt really want to take the time. The tech also gave me some good info on my old washer to help make it last longer.

I have purchased parts through Andys and have also used their service department for repairs when I ran out of options. When other parts providers in Omaha had given me long wait times on parts, Andys has always been able to get them within days. The added bonus being their prices were better, too. I also have used a service technician once (today) and they showed up on-time, were able to diagnose and fix the issue promptly, and were very professional and communicative. Its not often that every experience had with a company is so positive, but it has been the case with Andys. Keep up the great work!

No one likes to spend money on repairs, but these guys (John) were always on time and very friendly. Diagnosed the problem in under 5 minutes. Once part was ordered and in, came back and fixed perfectly. Also gave a lot of good information on my model of fridge and answered all my questions.

I have had a horrible experience with Andys Appliance Repair. They came to my house to evaluate the refrigerator six times (twice in one day) since April 5th and the issue is still not resolved. When Bill came the first time, he evaluated the refrigerator for 10 minutes and thought the issue was the temperature setting (although it has been on the same setting for 6yrs). I had to call him back 10 minutes later to tell him the refrigerator was still not dispensing water. He then thought it was the water pump, ordered a replacement, and installed it a week later and that ended up not being the issue. I suggested it may be an electrical problem and he said he didnt know but then proceeded to call LG for assistance and (according to Bill) LG recommended ordering a new main control system which was installed another week later and that was still not the issue. A new technician came out and immediately diagnosed the problem, the water filter was not staying in place each time the door was opened and was blocking the flow of water. He said there was no way to fix this. If only he had come the first time I would have only paid $99 for the service call. The problem is still not fixed and Eric, the supervisor, told me that the situation was handled properly and a lay person wouldnt understand how this works. First of all, I found this comment very insulting and condescending. I have a Masters degree so please do not talk to me like Im a fool. I have common sense in addition to being well-educated and have paid $538 thus far and the issue has not been resolved. Eric also had the nerve to tell me that we can try a new water filter tip for $25 and see if this works. This has all been a total scam and waste of time. Some of the technicians dont know what theyre doing meanwhile clients are paying the price for a guessing game!!!

Andy’s responded to a Lowe’s warranty claim. Technician called the AM of the appointment, showed up and spent 10 minutes in the house. Said they couldn’t service it because it was on a pedestal.Asked if he had parts to fix it, he didn’t. So I asked why is he servicing it since he doesn’t know what’s wrong and doesn’t have parts. Responded with it being on a pedestal. Told him, to triage the unit, order parts and when he returns to service it I’ll remove it.That wasn’t acceptable. 3 Refrigerators, 3 washers, 2 dryers, 2 ovens and a microwave all with Lowe’s warranty and various technicians for various reasons. Never in my life would I expect that somebody would need a washer off a pedestal to simple diagnose a problem.Previous washer and dryer serviced on a pedestal by a single tech without issue from another vender.Andy’s techs in my opinion are ripping Lowe’s off by billing for “service” and finding reasons not to do it. Garbage service, wouldn’t recommend and will not buy any warranty if Andy’s is the vendor.

Andys is amazing. Had a dryer go out and was all set to spend $800 to replace it.Last minute, I decided to ask around for a better option, and had a friend recommend Andys. They were able to come to my house same day, diagnose the problem, fix it, and clean it so it wouldnt happen again, all in about an hour! They had all the parts they needed on-hand as well, no running back to the shop or having to order and wait a few days.Best of all, the cost was more than fair, saving me several hundred dollars at the least. Plus, of course, theres the year-long warranty to make sure its good for a least a year.Highly, highly recommend!

The service assistant on the phone was pleasant and the repairman was prompt and empathetic.Unfortunately, my dishwasher is too old to repair but it was explained to me clearly and I was ok. Cant speak too much to quality of service as I didn’t really have a resolution but I am happy all the same with what I received.

The call, the scheduled time, the repair were all excellent. Appointment was scheduled for 9-11. He call at 8:45 and was there at 9:00. Was gone by 9:30ish. Price seemed fair, although I am not knowledgeable in that area but the convenience was worth every penny.

Stay away from Andy’s. From May 2020-February 2021 we had them out over a dozen times for the same refrigerator issue. They replaced the evaporator fan (which I was told would fix the problem) and installed upside down which caused further issues for months, broke the coil when the repairman, Bill was chipping ice off instead of steaming (his steamer was either broke or he didn’t have it with him, heard both excuses) and last repair guy told me I’m putting too warm of food in the refrigerator. They borrowed my hairdryer numerous times and needed me to supply towels for their work. Finally tried another company today who actually figured out the problem. Beware as if it’s over 30 days Andy’s wants to charge you another service call and does not stand behind their work. This company is a JOKE!

When our refrigerator quit working I wasnt sure who to call. I contacted a few service providers. Andys Appliance Repair was the most responsive and accommodating. Due to COVID-19 and Whirlpool supplies, the part took longer to obtain. However, from the first Tech visit (Dennis) and up until the refrigerator was repaired, everyone at Andys Appliance Repair was very professional and communicated the status often. I would definitely use Andys for any appliance repair.

Beware of Andys Appliance. I called them to fix a broken ice maker in our fridge. They came to the house 3 different times; wasted 3 hours of my time; charged me for all kinds of parts I did not need, including a new ice maker, then refused to refund my money for the parts we did not need. We now have a shiny new, unnecessary ice maker. Their third idea (!) as to what would fix the problem worked. We asked for the cost of the unneeded ice maker back ($300+) and they refused to refund. Buyer beware, this business is out to take your money with unnecessary parts and service. If I could give them 0 stars I would. They appear to have a lot of positive reviews, but PLEASE read the negative ones before using this business and please, note the owners response to negative reviews. This is what you will get from Andys.

We were having issues with our oven heating properly. The technician showed up on time (a bit early even, which he called beforehand to ensure was ok), and had the issue resolved within the hour. If you own a GE appliance this company does not have the computers that will diagnose the issue. GE has technicians that are equipped with computers that can diagnose the issue up to the second and can provide software updates to the GE appliance.I called Andys Appliance since I had used them in the past for another appliance that went on the fritz and was pleased with their service. When I called them since our GE refrigerator was running constantly ever since we remodeled the kitchen. One of the master technicians showed up and said that nothing was wrong with the unit and it was a linear compressor so it normally runs all the time after he took off the service panel and looked at it. He said that after moving it around it probably knocked something loose. This didnt sit well with me and I contacted GE. Per their website it states: As of January 1994, all GE Appliances branded refrigerators moved from a rotary compressor to a reciprocating compressors. Additionally, none of our refrigerators use linear (inverter) compressors. I was upset. I contacted GE and had one of their technicians come out and hook up their computer to diagnose issue. They diagnosed the fan in the fridge was going bad and also needed a software update. After the GE technician left I contacted Andys and told them I would like a refund of the service call since they were not able to provide proper service. I talked to Dan, an operations manager. He was going to look into what happened and get back to me. I was upset that he couldnt help me right then and there. A few days later Dan called me back saying that they did everything they could have done from the blogs that GE had given them and said that GE does not let them access to their computer system so they have to go different ways to get job done. Dan said that they would not refund the service call even though I pointed out that his technician completely lied to me about the type of compressor I had and couldnt fix my refrigerator due to GE not letting them have access to their computer system. Dan said that he would give us a credit that could be used for another service call and that was it. I told him that I would be posting my experience with him on social media and accepting the credit. This is when Dan became completely agitated. He then came back with How about I give you a full refund and you NEVER call us again? I agreed to the terms. He then said I just really love social media. I replied that I completely agree with him. His response snapped back at me was I BET YOU DO! He was quick to get me off the phone since I didnt have my credit card handy to have him initiate the refund. I made sure I kept in on the phone so I wouldnt have to deal with his unprofessionalism. It seems from previous reviews on here as well as BBB complaints must be written by Operations Manager Dan. Is it good business to tell people that are the reason you have a job to tell them to Never call us again?

My GE washer wouldnt run properly. Was stuck in drain mode. I couldnt get it to shut off so I called Andys. Carl Gomez responded and after he looked over the washer and I explained what happened he explained to me how to properly operate the machine and to be patient with it and not go pressing buttons all over the place. I needed my dryer fixed and I only had a few days to get it done. When I called Andy’s they ask me over the phone for Model and Serial #s. I later learned that it was so they could bring a few appropriate parts.It didn’t take long to give me a bid and I was told that the price of the service call would be applied to the repair. Thirty minutes later it was fixed, the area was left spotless, and he was gone.I would recommend this company to anyone needing appliance repair.

Great experience, as always! Bill gave us his expert advice about what we should do, given the age of our washer and some things that were beginning to fail on it. Were going to look at buying a new one rather than fix the issues with the current one. But, if we change our mind and elect to get this one repaired, the trip charge is good for 30 days, so we wont get charged a second time if he comes back out. If I had to say there is a complaint, I would say that I have tried numerous times to receive a copy of the original service call invoice and have yet to receive it. Even though they had to come out a couple of times through no fault of their‘s,They did not charge me for an additional come back. Had two different companies out due to warranty on the exact same fridge. First company came in shook hands. Introduced themselves. Handed a business card and put booties on. Explained the process and had the part on the truck. I couldnt tell you the employees name. Nor did he take shes off or wear booties. Part not on truck has to order and return. Although problem seemed to be fixed the experience was way better with the other appliance company.

I will start by saying that Andys Appliance deserves Zero stars but it wont let me.I had a refrigerator that wasnt cooling so i called Andys. The tech showed up with a standard tool kit and preceded to the kitchen. He opened the door shot a couple of temps. with his temp gun and then talked on the phone for about 20 min. At no point did he take anything apart or perform and physical diagnostics. Once he was off the phone he said it would be $1200-$1600 dollars and that i owed him $99 for the call.I was clearly furious. After a couple youtube videos I ordered about $30 worth of parts from amazon. Once they arrived Installed them in about an hour and the refrigerator is cooling again.Andys is a rip off, scam artist company that plan to leave negative reviews on every forum that I can find.

You were a little too punctual. I was expecting you after 12, got home a little after 12 and you were gone.I wanted the exhaust replaced because the aluminum had been damaged. Also wanted the lint trap checked to see if I had damaged it when I cleaned the lint. Took out more screws than needed, and may have over tightened them, possibly leaving gaps. I dont know if that can cause a problem. Thats the problem with DIY. But I found the lint trap was really clogged. Seems to work okay, and drys more quickly, so I dont seem to have broken anything.I cant move the units anymore, so I needed someone to do the work.Thanks. I am happy.
