When I called for service, they came out the same day to check the problem. My mom is 100 and her air conditioner quit working. We decided to get a new furnace and air conditioner. But they could not install it for 9 days. Then Travis and Jason called and came over the next night, after hours and installed the unit for my mom. At her age, it would have been so dangerous in the heat. I cant thank these young men enough for being so caring and giving.I recommend Polar Air very highly.

THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND CHARGED ME TWICE FOR 2 DIFFERENT VISITS AND DIDN’T TRY TO FIX ANYTHING. THE FIRST VISIT THEY SAID THE FURNACE WAS FROZEN A LITTLE EVEN THOUGH IT WAS STILL WORKING SO THEY WOULD NEED TO COME BACK, AND WHEN THEY DID AND CAME BACK THE SECOND TIME, THEY JUST LOOKED AT THE OUTSIDE UNIT TO LET US KNOW THERE WAS A LEAK SO THEY COULD OF DID THAT ON THE FIRST VISIT INSTEAD OF CHARGING US TWICE TO COME OUT TWO TIMES. THE LAST VISIT THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE FOR THE REPAIRS AFTER THEY GOT BACK TO THE OFFICE, AND THEN THEY CALLED BACK AND SAID THEY WOULDN’T BE ABLE TO GIVE US AN ESTIMATE ANYMORE AND WOULDN’T GIVE US A REASON WHY. I ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK AND THEY COULDN’T GIVE IT.I CALLED THE MAIN OFFICE TO GET MY MONEY BACK AND THE LADY YELLED AT ME AND HUNG UP ON ME. I ALSO CALLED TRAVIS WHO WAS SUPPOSE TO GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE AND WHEN I ASKED WHY THEY COULDN’T GIVE A REASON WHY AND I SAID I THINK I DESERVE RESPECT AND TO KNOW WHY YOU CANT GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE ANYMORE WHAT CHANGED SINCE YOU LEFT, HE HUNG UP IN MY FACE!! Friendly and helpful but poor business ethics. I understand charging for a profit and making money to operate your business but charging $418 for 15 minutes of labor is RIDICULOUS and flat taking advantage of situation. 1st off we were over charged for rush shipping $100 for something that costs $40-50(at most, probably less) to overnight from Dallas. Then it only took the tech 15 minutes to install. The only reason we used Polar was due to the parts warranty and I can promise you its the last time. Shop around KC there has to be better options.

The technician, Roy, has been to my house twice. Once for maintenance and once for repair. Hes professional and pleasant and gives great advice. Have been using Polar Aire for a couple of years and have always been satisfied. I would strongly recommend them to anyone!

My AC quit and Polar Aire was ready to assist me the same day I called, was actually able to show up early, and diagnosed and fixed the problem very quickly, again same-day. Pricing was transparent, the entire process was so well communicated, and Roy D. was fantastic to work with. I will definitely be using Polar Aire again!

I had a blower motor installed with their warranty and it still cost a ton. I cant believe how much they charge for labor.....WOW! Luckily I found a new HVAC company with reasonable rates.

Air conditioning went out at 5:30 on a hot, humid Saturday night. Called Polar Aire and spoke with Roy. Great young man. He carefully and thoroughly walked us through possible fixes. He ended up coming out around 9:15. Had us up and running in 20 minutes. We were impressed with his advance explanation of the fees so we had a good idea of the cost. We knew it would cost more after hours. He was great. His employer should give him a raise....hint hint.

Great service for my annual inspection! Tyler is very knowledgeable and gave me some tips on how to save on my electricity bill. Also fast, on time and very reasonable cost. Office staff was great too. He also discovered my thermostat was not properly wired and was just running on batteries (and fixed). I highly recommend Polar Air.

Several failed attempts to replace a basic AC part which they insisted on trying to continuously charging me additional labor. How is that fair?

Last Tuesday, Polar Aire installed a new furnace and air conditioner in my house. I had asked for an estimate, and was very impressed with the detailed and well-explained talk by Scott, and the personalized data he provided. After choosing this company, I was amazed that the process was completed so swiftly and efficiently by Matt and Jason, overseen by Scott. Had ac issues with this hot humid summer. Decided to user Polar Aire because I drive by their work every day and had seen the $49 service call fee. The service fee only covers 30 minutes so if they cant fix your issue in that time its going to cost you another $100. Of course my fix took about 45 minutes but I am happy with the service and the house is back to normal instead of 90 degrees. Maybe next time Ill just pay the $99 fee and see if it plays in my favor.

We are extremely PLEASED with the service we received from Polar! Our AC broke down on a Saturday night (20 year old unit) and had to be totally replaced. Kevin was able to come that Sunday morning to give us a competitive bid on the project. The Polar team changed our entire system that Monday and did a quality job. We were impressed on their ability to complete such a large job on such a short notice. It was our first time going business with Polar but we will be back for all of our Heating and Cooling needs!

Professional but not ethical. Every quote and charge I received seemed to have a story or excuse behind it, I always felt like they were trying to find reasons to overcharge me. Ive done price comparisons after the service and found I was severely overcharged. Do yourself a favor and shop around.

I’ve used Polar Aire for maintenance for years. Top notch company. It came time to replace my furnace and AC and I received the same great service from start to finish. Scott S. was knowledgeable, responsive, gave me a fair and reasonable price, and was patient as I weighed my options. The installation technicians, Matt and Mario were fantastic as well. They arrived early (but called first to ensure that was ok) and were in and out in 6 hours. We couldn’t even tell they had been here when they left, other than having excellent new equipment! All were very professional. Great experience all the way around. Polar Aire will be my heating and AC company for years to come and I’ll recommend them whenever I get an opportunity.

I cant overstate how great Polar Aire was to work with! Without going into too much detail, we had a bit of a heating/cooling/water heater crisis, and Scott with Polar Aire did a great job helping us explore our options. His bid was also by far the most competitive! Scott was great in helping me get the needed documentation to submit to our homeowners insurance and to the buyer of our home. I do not recall the installers name, but he was also great to work with.

Service like this is hard to come by these days! After limping my old system through one too many seasons John and his guys came to my rescue on a moments notice, and during a heat wave. I called John desperate On Wednesday morning to come quote me for a system replacement, he met me at my house that day on my lunch break, and in less than an hour we shook hands and I went back to work. I was fully prepared to haggle, but he came in several hundred dollars cheaper than what I had in mind. The next morning his crew showed up at 7:30 and went to work (and so did I). They did their thing and locked my house up for me when they left. When I came home I was pleased to see that they did a stellar install and left no trace of being there other than my house was comfortable again. They went out of their way to replace my existing humidifier drain hose with solid pvc and tied it into the new system drain. Thats just one of the many improvements they made along the way. Im super impressed with this company and am in shock with how seamless and hassle free they made this process for me. I will certainly recommend them to anyone in need. I can not say enough kind things about Zack and his team, today. They arrived promptly and went right to work installing our new steam humidifier. Since it was a retro fit, they had quite a challenge with getting the wiring to the fuse box, but they worked tirelessly at it, and got the job done. Kudos! The installation looks amazing (havent had it long enough to review how the unit works) and they left the area cleaner than it was before they arrived!! Zack explained how the unit works very well.

Last Wednesday Polar Aire installed a new air conditioning unit in our small Episcopal church. Working with Scott Smith was a pleasure as he provided an unbeatable system estimate that matched the needs of our facility. The install, completed by Matt and Mario, went smoothly and they answered all of my questions. They were true professionals.

Went with Polar Air about Three years ago. I thought I had already rated them. I guess it didnt post. The reason for the three stars. Their price was awesome. They were very good about scheduling maintenance appointments that came with the unit. So far the unit is performing well.The reason for the three star. When they installed my unit they installed the base way off center. So much so one side of the unit is hanging off the base. I called the sales rep Shae and he said since it is already installed there is nothing they can do about it. Next point on my last service I think the guy who did the checkup installed the wrong filter. It is too dig for the slot. It is sticking about a 1/4 out and it is so wedged in the slot. I had to turn off my humidifier because of all the condensation. Winter and summer. I see the owner Kevin has done a great job of responding to every review. No one has posted if he has done anything about fixing any of the problems. I dont want any special treatment or anything for free. I would like my unit to be centered. Explain to me why I have so much condensation when my humidifier is on low or high. I have rust on the ducts. And a filter that is put in the unit correctly. I have pictures to prove all of this. I am way past the statue of limitations on this post and I dont expect anything to be done. My fault for not checking to see if my post posted.***after posting this review Polar Air did contact me and fixed the majority of my issues. I have increased their rating because of the customer service***

I recently had Polar Aire install a new heating & cooling system in my home. After getting bids from competitors, I found they were the most responsive and their price was much less than other bids I received. It was a pleasure working with a hometown company. Joey & Isaac were early to arrive and quickly went to work to get my job done. I was told that it would take six hours and that is exactly how long it took. They were friendly, professional and I felt confident in the work they were doing. Very respectful of me and my home. Im very happy with my decision to use Polar Aire for my heating and cooling replacement and am confident in recommending them.

Was very disappointed in my service I received from Polar Aire. They quoted me $2,700 to replace compressor or $3,000 to replace outside AC unit. Which obviously the push was to get a new unit. SO very glad I got another professional opinion. As ALL that was wrong with the AC unit was it needed a deep cleaning. Once the shields were all removed and coils were cleaned properly it ran like a dream again. I get that businesses like Polar Aire train their techs to replace units and make the most money possible from their consumer. I would highly recommended getting another opinion if Polar Aire pushes high costs repairs after looking over your unit for only 20 mins.

I knew they had a new owner so I used them for a furnace repair today. First of all Mindy was very polite when I called . Tyler was here at the appointment time even a bit early. I have had a positive experience with 95% of the technicians, and I have been informed that the one that I did not care for no longer works for them. I have had especially great service from Steve. Tyler did our annual furnace check today. He was of great help last year diagnosing a furnace problem, so I was more than glad to see that he was our service technician this fall. I have always been satisfied with Polar Aire.

This is our 2nd year using Polar Aire and I am beyond satisfied with the service and responsiveness! We do the annual service agreement where they come once in the spring and once in the fall and is a very reasonable rate. The techs are very knowledgeable and so polite and courteous. Scheduling appointments is a breeze and the techs call when they are on their way! I highly recommend!

Tyler was on time and got things done quickly. He took the time to check everything and caught and replaced a component that was ready to fail. Overall, I am very happy with Polar Aire and would recommend them for all HVAC work.

We use HVAC companies all over the country and as such know how much time things take and how much they cost. I was quoted $149 for a Saturday service call and diagnosis. This is standard, I was happy to pay it. The technician advised they use flat rate pricing which always makes me hesitant, but I was assured they have the best rates in town. Guy seemed nice and honest, so I agreed to let him go to the property. He showed up within the arrival window and was polite with the tenant. When calling with the diagnosis the technician advised that the igniter needed to be replaced in the unit for a total of about $341 plus the service call for a total of $488. An igniter is a maximum $50-75 part and takes no more than an hour, probably closer to 30 minutes to replace. On time service, friendly technician, astronomical pricing, truly. I wouldnt use them again and felt like people needed to know there are companies just as friendly who charge considerably less. I felt lied to by the technician who advised their pricing was competitive and frankly held hostage by the fact that they were already there and I didnt want to disappoint the resident. They also refused to discuss the pricing with me at all, take it or leave it, which is their right to be fair. But, by the time I paid another service call on top of theirs it would have been more expensive anyway. For reference this repair should be 30-40% less or the service call waived based on the average amount of time required and the material cost. Very disappointed.

I live at the Lake of the Ozarks, My air conditioner went out. I called in the late afternoon and a service man was at my house by noon the following day. what a life saver !! great owners and great service !!!

Tyler has been doing our twice yearly maintenance for several years now. He has always been extremely courteous, neat and best of all knowledgeable about our heat pump maintenance and repair. I am quick to recommend Polar Aire to others based on my experiences.

We had a maintenance agreement with a certain AC company - asked them to come out and price a new unit (basically a guaranteed sale) - but they INSISTED I be onsite as the decision maker / owner. Polar Aire said they could easily explain to me over the phone all about the new unit (size - capacity), warranties, time frame, etc. - as we were leaving on vacation. Sales person came by our house and pick up the check so we wouldnt have to delay our vacation! They replaced the unit within (3) days - right when they said they would be there - GREAT PRICE (had priced new unit 2 years prior - Polar Aire was $2k LESS) - GREAT SERVICE. Did everything they said they would do. Service manger called after to ensure we were satisfied - not only w/price but with the service as well. Tenants said installation went great - and installer was nice, clean and very professional. Have cancelled our agreement with other company and will only use Polar Aire for all our personal and business needs!!

I have been a customer since 2006. I have had great experiences. I had a very old furnace when they started coming out and they serviced it 2ce a year ( Air also). They have always done a great job. January 2013 my furnace finally died. I had 3 companies come out to give me prices to replace it and their price was the lowest. I have had nothing but great service and people to deal with.
