I tried this salon because I heard good things about it. When I arrived for my appointment, my hair was dark and I wanted to lighten it up to a more blonde color and I know the process to getting blonde is a long road. So I knew that the outcome after one session was a stepping stone. When I told the stylist I wanted to go lighter, she said ok and turned to go start mixing the color. I had to stop her and let her know the tone of blonde I was looking for. Not sure what she was going to go mix up if I hadn’t specified what I wanted. At this point, I started having a bad feeling about the whole situation.I left the salon unimpressed. My hair looked almost exactly the same as when I arrived. My hair was the same shade of brunette I walked in with (even though I told her I wanted my natural color as the base and purposely grew my roots out so she could have a better shot at matching and blending with my natural roots) but with small caramel highlights. My hair color was still classified as brunette, nowhere even remotely close to blonde and definitely not what I asked for. Even though I was disappointed, it didn’t look bad so I just figured it’s fine for the first session and I probably wouldn’t go back to Salon 209.However, over the next 3 weeks my hair completely changed texture and just didn’t look good at all. I didn’t trust them to try and fix it. So I finally found a new stylist only to learn that my hair was damaged in the coloring process by Salon 209 and that’s why it’s now a different texture. I’ve been getting my hair colored (and I’ve even colored it myself) for over 20 years, and I’ve never had my hair look like this. I paid over $200 at Salon 209 and they wrecked my hair. I would definitely not use them again.

I love this little salon!! Especially Lucy Athanason who keeps my eyebrows fly and my bikini line smooth!! I love the ambiance here and you will always see smiling faces when you come in the door !!

All of Micahs cuts are the same. Look at pics of his work. If you like that cut then youll be happy, but hes no color specialist. I can color my own hair better with a $3.00 box of Revlon. Warning... Save your money.

Asked for 2 tones of red with a slight touch of blonde. Walked out with white hair and basically no red at all. She completely stripped every ounce of my natural red out and then proceeded to cut my hair without even asking. By the time I realized what she was doing it was too late! Went immediately to another salon to discover how chemical burnt my hair was. And the cherry on top was her ugly personality about it. I showed a picture and AFTER she ruined my hair decided to tell me she didnt like that pattern so she wont do it on a client. Should have said that in the beginning. My suggestion to you is... if you dont want your hair ruined and youre a true red head, if you dont want to waste $120 then dont go see Brittney at Salon 209!

My hair has not looked this great in years!!He did a SUPERB job with my highlights( he listened when I said I wanted to go blonder) , cut, and style( no adjustments necessary). When you move to a new area one of your first concerns is well I found somebody that knows how to cut hair. I first saw Salon 209 advertised on a Groupon and am I ever glad I took advantage of the offer. My age is 75 years Young and through all those years you learn the first couple of snips on your hair
