Called in on a Saturday afternoon for a manicure. Was welcomed pleasantly and only waited 5 minutes for lady to start. She was very professional and friendly. Did a nice job. Will definitely go back

The best nail sets Ive ever had for great prices!

Very unprofessional and rude. They take forever doing your nails they try to charge me and my daughter for a full set when I just needed a fill in and my daughter as well. If you already have long nails they try to sneak charge u. For having extra long nail. When it was time to pay, I noticed a lot of faulty things on the receipt 🧾 and I had to request for a break down. It took 3 staff members and a manager. Because I was needing to figure out? How 3 ppl come up to $354.00. When me and my daughter only needed a filling and a pedicure, and my god daughter needed a full set and pedicure. We got the lavender pedicure and they tried to charge another pedicure price to that . They try to tax u for everything and what I mean by that is. They charge u for everything under the sun if they can get away with it. They charge u if u come with a set and if your nails are long , removing nail polish, and everything you didn’t add on. Check your receipts most of these salons are trying to scam on pricing! When I argued the price they tried to only take off $4 dollars and say that if I was happy that it was $4 dollars cheaper!?! As if I was worried about $4.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. I got a botched set of acrylics and they stayed open late just to help me fix them. The nails came out so nice and this will definitely be my go to nail salon from now on.

I was nice the whole time I just told her what needed to be fixed and at the end she caught an attitude because I wanted her to fix one more nail this was all before the nail polish was applied there was no reason for her attitude and she said I could somewhere else if I didn’t like her work and still wanted to charge 65 for a terrible set

Been coming here for over 10 years. I’ve gone to several other salons around town but Avalon is by far the best in quality, price and customer service. The employees are the sweetest and the atmosphere is very inviting and peaceful.

The staff are so sweet and friendly! It’s very clean and comfortable. I love going there. I can actually relax and feel good about the way my nails look!

This place deserves zero stars. I was charged $40 for a fill in when the price chart states $15 & up but no one expects to pay more for a fill in than they paid for a full set. They changed the shape of my coffin nails and I got the cat eye polish which looks like regular polish they claim to have put gel on my nails but I had to return 2 days later bc it was chipped. Now not even a week later 2 nails have popped off like press ons. Bryan who did them seemed ok however doesnt speak English so the translator and owner of the the salon steps in and has a terrible attitude and started speaking in another language so who knows what she said about me. Never will I return or recommend this salon. Picture is 5 days later.

Normally I love coming here, this was the first time I walked out not liking my nails. All of the ladies are good, but theres two guys. The shorter one doesnt listen, very rough, and went to give me gel without asking. My nails are only 9 days old and I had 2 break of today. Now Ive had nails for a month with no issues. Im gonna take all off and just rock natural for a while. I very much dislike paying for something that wasnt done right. I also had nail polish on a few fingers, the acrylic wasnt on the whole nail on two of them, and the acrylic was heavily applied on two nails.

I have been going here for quite a few years now and I only go to the same woman each time and she does FANTASTIC! I have NEVER had an issue with my nails and if I don’t go back for sometime when I walk through the door she notices and says “I haven’t seen you in a while, would you like ombré or to change it up this time?” She knows exactly how I like my nails done and she’s always as sweet as can be. I’ve never had an issue with her being rude or ever making me feel uncomfortable. She actually has conversations with me until she starts to get in the mode or I get caught up watching a video on my phone. She’s very patient and the maybe 2 or 3 times I did get hurt wasnt disregarded. She apologized even after I stated it wasn’t bad or it was my fault. I haven’t gone to any other nail tech since I’ve started to go to her and I couldn’t be happier with the results every time! She’s the wonderful lady that sits at the very front next to the counter. She’s the only manicure table on the right side and I recommend her to everyone that compliments my nails!

My experience may have been different than most, but then of course I tip up front and you get a great job when they dont feel like they are working for peanuts. Its not easy doing your own cuticles and stuff. So dont complain...i got the young man in there. Did a fabulous gel cats eye on my toes and a neutral polish on my hands.. well done and clean environment ..including bathroomAlanna

Love this place. I had Tina as the person who did my nails. She really did amazing. There has been no lifting or cracking of the nail. The people were very sweet and the prices were great.

Always good to see Tina, Kevin and crew for an hours respite from the cares of the world. Kevin is a master of foot massage.

I used to go here years ago and had no problems. I went exactly a week ago since I was in the area to get a gel set and already 1 nail has come off and the others look as though I wont make it another 2 weeks for my fill in. My gel nails also have a lot of bubbles and the guy didnt clip my natural nails so theres a space between my nail and the tip that always gets food inside 😷. Waste of $35 since now have to go to someone else to have these removed and redone this week. Ill never come back here and wont recommend this place to anyone.

Only place I go to when I do get the chance to go. They always remember me and it makes a customer feel good when theyre remembered. Good prices, great nails!

The only reason I gave two stars is because the head lady there did a good job waxing my eyebrows but I asked for a dipped manicure and they used acrylic and ruined my natural nails and the guy that did my nails filed them so hard with a regular nail file I started to bleed and it took over two weeks to heal. Will not be going back, not very clean and felt very rushed.

Yesterday I did my fill in and my nails were perfect! Today I accidently hit my own nail causing it to break the acrylic. My natural nail was strong and healthy. I walked in and they fix my acrylic nail with no charge. They’re so nice and sweet ladies! I definetly recommend this nail salon!

Im a licensed cosmetologist so I really have getting my nails done because I know what you should and should not do. I usually do my pen but I just didnt feel like it one day so a coworker suggested Anakin and I was pleasantly surprised. They took me right back. A man named Kevin did nine. My only complaint is he donefa little heavy handed on one nail so it looks a little wonky but other than that he did a great job! Ive gotten so many compliments and I look forward to going back this coming up week

CHARGED $25 FOR A FILL IN. DISHONEST BUSSINESS PRACTICES BEWARE.I’ve been getting my nails done for years and never have I had something like this happen. This was my third time here. The first time I had a fill-in for $15 And it came out okay . The second time I had a full set for $20 and I was very pleased. I did notice there were a lot of bubbles in the acrylic but nothing too noticeable.About 3 1/2 weeks later I come in for a fill in it. The woman at the very front took me. She asked if I wanted gel , I replied no thank you . She goes “Why you no want gel ! “.. I felt very uncomfortable after her response to me. Like I said before I have been getting my nails done for years and I’ve never had an experience quite like this. Very very heavy handed with swirls on top of my nails. I could not wait to get out of there !After she is finished , she says my fill-in is $25! Confused, I pointed at the board where it said $15 and politely asked her why there was a price change.She said because my nails are longer. I told her that I got a full set there just a few weeks ago and it was ONLY $20. She said I will give you a two dollar discount. .. I was in shock . I did not even let my nails dry I was so ready to get out of there. I handed her my credit card and left. I’ll never go back .She pretty much made up a price knowing there was nothing I could do about it .I had no choice but to pay. Very unethical business practices.The woman that did my nails sits in the very front next to the front desk. There are some pictures of her and her children at the front desk. If she ends up being your nail tech, just go somewhere else. You’ll be happy you did

If I could give zero stars I would.. I got my nails done here, and had an allergic reaction to something they used. I came in asking them to please remove the nails because of the pain being to intense and they began to refuse! I had to get an attitude just for them to do what I asked.. I will never return here. I have left with sore undone nails for my party tomorrow.. Thanks for your very crappy service Avalon!

The owner told me not to come back. Do not go. Worst manicure I’ve ever received when I told her I was unhappy she told me all nails done come out the same. Was very rude and short with me the entire time and told me don’t come back. I wouldn’t recommend this place

It was ok.My daughters nails are nice. $15 though for basic paint and design that literally took 5min is kinda high. I was told $7 for plain paint. Then that she would do it for $5. After I asked about design it seema its was either $10 for design or we wenr back to the original $7 quote. I also had to ask 3 times for the price and am certain I was being ignored. Also thehe signs on the wall that say they dont guarantee their work is a bit of a turn off. Makes me think they had a lot pf complaints. Might try again but prices are not stable.

I got sculpting

Very basic pedicures. I was never asked what kind of pedi I wanted. I guess she just assumed I wanted a basic pedi. I was literally done in less than 30 mins. I felt like I was interrupting her lazy time on the couch. I was pretty disappointed. I wanted a nice spa pedi. This was my second try at this salon with same scenario. I won’t be back.

They do a great job on nails but the wait is sometimes over an hour so I left.

Nancy has been doing my nails for many years now...not only is she a perfectionist..but she is very funny !!

This place is terrible. The staff is terrible. Went in with nails that looked totally different then the ones I walked out with. The person switched me from square to rounded on there own behalf. When I said something she blamed it on me. Poor place to go.

I am never ever coming back here ever again. When I was getting a pedicure I got gell nail polish and everytime he went to dry them he set it on my toes and had to redo them 4 times. And my full set came out crooked and uneven, different sizes and a horrible paint job and bubbles all through my nails..Never coming back..
